We'd also like to have a couple of people as 'substitutes' just in case something goes wrong with one of the managers who get in. So yeah, if you're interested, sign up even though you see 32 as we're gonna pick the top 32.   When will you announce who's in it? MattyBlayze Posted October 8, 2009 Report Share Posted October 8, 2009 When will you announce who's in it?  Shiv is running this tournament, so my dates might be slightly off, but here is what I think we discussed:  Oct 10th - Sign-ups for "Blitzkrieg FC Presents...The Ultimate Manager" close Oct 20th - All entrants will have their manager records noted - the Top 32 will be informed of their admission into the tournament. Any applicants not receiving entry will be invited to be "alternates" *NOTE* Seeding will also be done based off records on this day Oct 25th - This is the first day where fighters will be allowed to be created - fighters must be able to make the 145 weight limit - fighters can be created after this date, but not before Jan 1st - Opening Round matches in The Ultimate Manager take place  The reason for "alternates" is, with such a large window in between sign-ups and fights, some people might leave the game, etc. Shiv and I will most likely be creating our own 145 fighters on Oct 25th as "emergency alternates" as well, but I would rather us not participate in this tournament if at all possible.  Between Oct 25th (date of creation) and Jan 1st (first fight) there are NO requirements. Fighters can train exclusively, fighters can QFC, fighters can sign contracts with orgs and fight regularly - we don't care - this is a tournament to see who the best manager is, so we're surely not going to tell you how to do things. I was at 7% when I signed up, and am now at 9% after having moved up 100 spots in the ranking. After this are we still going to demand top 10%, or just top 32 ranked managers? Seeing as around 30% of the managers in the game have been deleted due to inactivity, being in the top 10% moved from around being ranked 1000 to being ranked 680.
