IDs?

Recommended Posts

To sum it up yes. New orgs will have limited funds to start with so the newer the fighter the more likely they will sign a low but fair deal.

The lower id's roughly under 270k tend to cost an org a sign bonus minimum 5k (always negotiable) then the show/win bonus usually 15k+

What's the purpose of this? To only have younger fighters?

Yeah but I always viewed it as a way to have fair fights immediately available. Open ID Orgs must be a nightmare to manage.

Imagine being a really old org with no ID restriction.

Your champions all might be from the 280k class.

Regardless of age, hiddens, etc. how is someone from the 300k class supposed to compete? That's a fuckton of training time and experience that they simply don't have.

And everyone in between is going to be wildly variable. It's hard to make fair fights and there's no rhyme or reason inside your divisions, except at the very top.

With IDs, everyone has roughly the same floor. After some time, Orgs may bump their limits to steady up their flow of new talent.

Agreed. ID restrictions are in place for fighters to develop until they can compete in the non restricted orgs such as CEC or Syn. Without them nobody would be able to develop, and guys would be getting smashed before they even have a chance to peak.
