It is an honor to fight Captain Spaulding next but just realized that I still have 12 days of injuries lol (fight is accepted and in 10D). I have contacted Mike Tycoon who usually helps me in these instances, hopefully we can get everything sorted so I can be at 100% come fight night :)

I am very excited about this card!

Not only are there some pivotal fights for the tournament taking place, but the main event is going to be guaranteed fireworks as well!
I don't like filling up an event with one of my own guys as a superfight, but Sotiris Kakoulis is very eager to avenge his loss, while Origi is looking forward to a chance to defeat the LHW-legend for a second time.

Thank you Klatz for stepping up and giving NY Fight Nights a brilliant main event between two KO-machines.

Thank you to Rei for the epic poster!

Fight of the Night Origi vs Kakoullis, Bjorn are you mad? Kristus vs Marky was the real highlight of the evening!

Your number one superstar never gets any love.

I am not mad, but blind. I totally overlooked your fight it seems, altough I read through the entire event.

Terribly sorry Marky. If you want, I'll contact Mike and see if he can overturn it.

Alika Webb

"Webb wobbles Nine with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Webb dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Nine to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Alika Webb!"

NY Fight Nights: Legends creation tournament ( invitational) round 8

Yes, you saw that correctly, Hurmio is headlining our next card in an amazing superfight against Klatz his young beast Seok !

I can not stress enough how happy that I am, to have been able to put this fight together.

Lets introduce both main event fighters:

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/34/34w4.jpg

Tuomari Hurmio

28-6-2

- Featherweight of the Year 2016
- Won the 2016 Winter Olympics Featherweight Gold Medal
- Won the 2015 Winter Olympics Featherweight Gold Medal
- Beat the 2015 Winter Olympics Lightweight Gold Medalist
- Beat the 2015 Winter Olympics Bantamweight Gold Medalist
- former #1 P4P

Anyone who has been playing this game at the highest level the last few years knows Hurmio. Those who don't, well, they should be ashamed!

Pablo has managed Hurmio his entire career and his achievements are absolutely staggering. The last few months, the legend has mostly enjoyed life on the sidelines and took full advantage of his big purses from the last few fights, to have a great time!
Luckily for us, he has decided to accept my offer to get back into the cage and fight a young hot prospect.

Hurmio is a decision machine, who combines wicked striking with amazing GNP to smother his opponents and walk away with big wins.

Will the rest of about half a year cause ring rust? I highly doubt it. Hurmio is always game and I don't see him slowing down during this fight.

He will be eager to make a big statement and walk through his opponent. That he shouldn't take his opponent lightly though is clear as daylight.

Way to victory: stay active while both striking and using GNP on the ground, but always keep an eye open for Seok his BJJ tricks.

Lee Sang Seok

21-7-1

- former ROV 155lbs champion

- former Helsinki Fighting League 155lbs champion

- former Underground 145lbs champion

Seok is a young BJJ mastermind, who is only 28years old. Despite his age, he has already collected multiple belts in two divisions.
He dominated some of the best lightweights and featherweights around in the last few years and has climbed the rankings all the way to the top.

Altough he has already faced multiple top managers and fighters, but this is no doubt the biggest fight in his young career.
He is set up against one of the most legendary featheweights/batamweight ever in Hurmio and should try to take full advantage of this unique opportunity.
Klatz is widely considered as one of the best managers in the game and a true legend of the sport. His young prospect brings a entertaining mix of crisp striking and scary submission skills. It is pretty rare to see a fighter with such a high percentage of submission wins, so we all know that his red belt is not just a nice color, but a legit warning to anyone that lands on the ground with him.

Way to victory: keep the pressure on Hurmio, use his range advantage, while countering with subs from his back if the fight goes to the ground.

PREDICTION:

Both fighters have the tools to get the win, so it will come down to who scouts the best and can implement his gameplan, while staying away from the dangerpoints that his opponent brings to the table. No matter who wins, the fans should always be winners in this fight !!!

PREDICTION CONTEST:

150k for the manager who had the best prediction for the outcome of this fight.

If you predict a finish, make sure to mention the time, round and in what fashion!

My prediction is very boring, though I'm sure the fight won't be.

I expect Hurmio to win the majority of rounds 10-9 and go on to a unanimous points decision.
