goodtymes31
Has anyone noticed a change to the PPV sales in events lately? Or can maybe see something I would be doing wrong? My last 2 events severely underperformed, as did CEC End Game, and I even upped my advertising, so I Cant see why. Most recent Event: http://mmatycoon.com/orgeventmanager.php?EvID=936144 Previous Event: http://mmatycoon.com/orgeventmanager.php?EvID=935247 Lower ratings but more PPV sales: http://mmatycoon.com/orgeventmanager.php?EvID=935761 Somewhat similar ratings to recent event, but waayy more sales: http://mmatycoon.com/orgeventmanager.php?EvID=935250 Maybe I am doing something wrong, and i welcome advice, but other than upping advertising and production slightly, I didnt make any changes, and PPV sales dropped significantly.
Monsieur.Camara
Some managers complained the the top 3 orgs were "printing" maneys $$ so Mike nerfed , confirmed on the CEC thread. Consensus: Yeah, other org owners should be on alert and keep an eye on this for now. 1

Going to make it completely impossible to even break even in a top org if PPV sales were adjusted that much. All fighters were being paid on the old system. Hopefully it can be fixed.

Mentor
Well i hope this is not the case because if it is, there will need to be serious decreases in wages. I already talked about this issue recently: http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=64975
goodtymes31
I hate to beat a dead horse, but these last 2 events PPV sales seem extremely random. I sent mike and Mentor a note for some feedback, but if anyone else have some thoughts I'd love to hear them. PFC 166 - First card linked. 2nd event that week. Event Rating 813.71, $850k advertising spend - 222,166 PPV sales.http://mmatycoon.com/orgeventmanager.php?EvID=936145PFC 167 - Event Rating 834.60, $950k advertising spend. My org rating was higher going into the event. Only 207,967 PPV sales.http://mmatycoon.com/orgeventmanager.php?EvID=935994
Rambo
Anybody ever look into fighter popularity and/or how much impact it has on cards? Or do events calculate hype+pop as a combined numerical?
Mentor
I would say the fighter hype/pop is the main factor, followed up by org hype, I am not sure what the ratio of importance for those factors are.
rjs2442
In looking at some of the upcoming events for some of the top Orgs, the events don't seem to have the same top end fights which is likely what is bringing down the results they are seeing. I can't speak to why this is, but maybe there wasn't a change made with the system, maybe its just the events arent as hyped as years gone by 1

rjs2442
Not like it would if we were seeing better built events.
