All the best to the former CW MMA workhorse Matty Fernandez, you will be remembered in all ranks of this organization. Thank you for all the hard work, the steady support and the kind helping hand you have given for this org and for us fighters. May your future be as bright as the guiding lights you have provided for us all here at CW MMA. Godspeed, Matty!

Also, warm wellcome to the new CW MMA leader Alexei Smirnow. Lets keep the CW MMA train going full steam ahead. Choo choo!

185 lbs title fight between the short notice challenger, the boxer Leevi Saros and the dominating belt defender, the BJJ specialist Tyrone Mack was just held on CW MMA: Redemption. Tyrone Mack holded the belt with ease as fight went to mat, continued on mat and was ended on mat.

Leevi wanted to congratulate the "mat beast" champion himself.

"There is no room for making one mistake with you, Tyrone. One miss, one miscalculation and you wrapped me like a chistmas present. I fully expected to what was coming from you, yet I just couldnt evade the inevitable. True champion and one tough BJJ specialist to beat. Congratulations, Tyrone Mack!" - Leevi Saros

"Sometimes we just can't avoid the unavoidable nor escape the unescapable"

Maybe release the 265+ fighters that are stuck waiting for the tourney that won't take place anymore (timelines cannot be met).

Lots of 370k orgs out there willing to take them it is not too late to do the right thing imo.

Here I can do quotes too lol

Alexei will do great.  He's newer to the game but intelligent and has a strong desire to learn.  Myself and Benjamin Halle will be there to assist him every step of the way.  From my earlier discussion with him, he has agreed to keep the tournament going and not to shake anything up.  He may chance the logo to remove SYN, but haven't spoken much beyond that.

I just know that the purpose of this move was to keep the org running under good leadership, and it gives Alexei the chance to learn the ropes of running an org with an established, yet new roster.

Hello everyone,

I will no longer be the owner of CW MMA, there will be new ownership. Thank you all for being great and I wish your fighters the best of futures. You don't need to worry too much but, I'll be handing over ownership now.

Adios,

Alexei Smirnov

So, our new well hyped CW MMA owner is now a former one. Just few months after previous ownership change.

Forum has been dead since transfer and now ownership is handed again to...someone. That's great. Maybe that special mysterious someone can commit to the task longer than 3-4 months? Who knows.

Apologies for venting here, but gotta do it. This just blatantly shows how empty all the pre-words can be around any ownership changes: a total fairy tale chattery. I thought fight organization owner transfers are seriously and competently negotiated. And manager who takes over have the time to do it, is 100% proven to be committed, is decently active and has somesorta vision forward with open communications. Apparently not.

But hey, let's look at the bright side: this is the first post in CW MMA forum since the last two begging posts in January 23nd and March 6th...:ac8:

May the merry wheel of MMA fortune and positive winds guide this captain abandoned ship of ours where-ever it may lead us, cos we are sailing blind forwards at the moment.

Perhaps you should wait to see who the new ownership is before you complain.  I do understand your frustration, but CWMMA was acquired by Dynasty who is being run by a great group of managers and your fighters will be better off for it.

This was not the plan at that time, but when approached with business decisions you have to make the best decision for yourself as well as the org.  Trust me, this was the better long term move for the roster and will in fact be a positive for you guys.  This move was made in the best interest of the org as the two orgs involved split the 365 and 370k roster.  This will lead to more and better competition for all involved.

This move was discussed in a large group for several hours late into the night last night with multiple orgs negotiating and working together to find the best solution for the 365k roster.  The notification has already been sent out throughout the org as to the plans of merging into Dynasty which will be one of the top 365k orgs in the game, hands down.

No need to complain until you hear all the details and understand what is going on.  You can ride an org into the ground with inactive fighters and managers rejecting fights until the org disbands, or you can have an owner who steps up and makes a decision to make the best move for the org as a whole, roster included.

I guess he didn't learn the ropes and nobody really assisted him last time heh?

Just to piggy back off what JW said and to provide some clarity from our side: this was Dynasty MMA approaching CWMMA.

Dynasty MMA is aiming to be the go-to 365k org and is co owned by four managers which will help both financially and with the day to day running of the org.

Valid post and I agree everything you say here.

However, you have misunderstood my message. My main complain/critique was targeted on the criteria how and to whom ownership is given and how this can affect and has affected fight organization...like in this case to CWMMA with January 2021 ownership change.

When the last message was received by our former owner (26th March) that there was going to be another sudden ownership change and it is given to "someone", this "someone" did not exactly help clarify anything. With the steady regression of our organization, this just aided the blindfolded sense of CWMMA going even further adrift.

More open and transparent communication to us managers would have helped immensily here. That did not happen. So I made the post and stand by it.

Now, when name Dynasty dropped in and things started to unravel, I naturally changed stance. Definitely a positive turn of events to see a solid fight organization and seasoned owner to step in and take over in CWMMA. Dynasty is most wellcomed to take charge and gets my wholehearted blessing for all things to come.

Hopefully this clarifies the intent of my original post. In hindsight, had it a bit over-sarcastic tone? Sure. Was it made in haste? Definitely. Yet I had to post my thoughts then and there (as explained above).

So, what can be learned here? Inner and outer communication and open dialoque goes a long way. And on my part, more patience when facing org-related uncertainty. On these we may all agree on, I think. :)

Not true, he did well learning on the fly.  But when you came on here bitching about him and the org status and telling him to release the 265+ he did so and I stopped worrying about sending him help as I just answered questions as they came up.

When you (as you seem to always do) try to dictate how orgs behave, it's just not worth my time to try and deal with you.   You need to stop trying to push around new orgs and new org owners to get them to meet your agenda.

Andrew was there to assist him, but his step father had 2 heart attacks and he stopped being of much assistance.  But that's none of your business, and no need to explain it to you as you have nothing to do with the org anyways.  So stop being a troll and just back off.  You've ran enough managers away from the game, most recently Butch, simply by being a dick at every turn.

Personal stuff?  Everything you say and do you do it publicly on the forums.  You want to blast people and make them look bad for personal gain, and when I give you a small scoop of the truth you go there?

Whatever dude, just stop trying to make everyone in this game rage quit.

I don't send any anonymous messages, whoever is emailing you it's not me lol I am more than happy to say this openly why would I resort to private messaging.

It really comes down to this:  You guy have been since 350k going around destabilizing orgs to pick them up on the cheap about 10k IDs later.

You wanna do that:  No worries. Seriously.

But you wanna do that and play coy and say things like "Saving the 365k bracket" expect to get called out on it.

Everyone knows what you guys do, trust me the American government has been doing this for even longer than you guys.  In places like Syria, Central America, etc.

It's the exact same thing.

The part where you hurt the game is that when you topple another starting org the managers with low Hype / incorrect creations never make it to the "saviour" org.  They get dumped like 3-day old pizza.

That part hurts the game the most always and I will always openly call it out.
