  1. You're right... "Virtually" under water. 🤣
  2. Miami will be under water in a few years... 🙄
  3. Happy to see fresh blood on the scene. People were rumbling about Mike being MIA and not caring anymore, but this proves that he does care, at least. I eagerly anticipate the changes and to see what you have in store for this game. Lord knows I've tried to quit, but the game just brings you back.. the potential is undeniable, and if you can just scratch the surface of that potential, I'm sure we will all be very pleased. Best of luck to you, we will all be eager to see your vision come to fruition.
  4. Yeah, there isn't a lot of forum activity these days. Hell, I'm as guilty of that as anyone. I'd be willing to buy and build a basic website with an added forum for the use, but I don't think that would garner any more support than here. Of course, if I bring on staff to help, maybe we can just do it by fighters DM'n me or someone else their call outs, and I can in turn notify the other manager and see about brokering the fight. But yeah, it will be an uphill battle. I just wish I had a way to spread the word to see if I could get some more input/feedback on the idea as to how to make it work.
  5. So I have been bored as hell of late, so I figured why not to try something fun. I have no clue if this will be the laughing stock of the community, or if we can bounce some ideas to see if it can work. Here's the general idea.. "Call Out" A fight org where you pick your opponent. Fighters will take to the forums, or via Buzz to call out an opponent. Now, there are so many things that can branch from here as we'd have to consider.. Obviously, the fighter has to accept. Once the fight is accepted, it gets approved through management. This is primarily to avoid a skilled fighter padding his record by taking on a scrub looking for a payday. Not that this can't happen at times to fill a card, but I don't think it would be a good idea for a common practice. Fight cards will be booked (minimum 7 days out) once we reach at least 5 fights. We will then try to fill up the card with any additional last second call outs that occur. If we end up with a 5 fight card, so be it. This will be most likely a small niche group of managers competing or for "one off's" between two beefing managers or alliances. With this format, you don't have to remain on the roster pick your fights. You can call out another fighter from another org and work out the fight. This would be a neutral ground if fighters want a fight but neither org is willing to let the other benefit. Not likely to happen often, but it's an option. Also would allow for hosting of alliance vs alliance style tournaments or contests of might. Possibilities are limitless, honestly. As for an active roster, if a fighter wants to begin his career here and pick and choose fights at will, that is perfectly acceptable. Activity clauses can be set at 3 days or some short number. If we were to hold any divisions with a title and allow fighters to take a shot via call out at the champ, I'm sure we can work out a functioning way to make that happen. Perhaps the first two fighters in the division to reach 3 consecutive wins get a title shot. And from then, once a fighter wins "X" fights in a row, they are eligible to call out the champ. If no fighter reaches such goal in "X" days/weeks from the last title fight, the champ gets to make the call out. Again, there's so much that would go into this in laying the foundation and coming up with rules to keep it as fair and neutral as possible. But I think it'd be fun to compete with a fighter or two in a situation like this, allowing me to fight only a few times here and there while I train, then more active as I desire. Once you're ready to go, move on to an established org and see how you stack up. Make some enemies along the way, call them out, and come back to show them what "Call Out" is all about. I don't know, maybe I'm just high and this conversation should have never seen the light of day. However, I truly feel this could be a fun set up for someone like me who can't seem to leave this game and just needs a little flavor mixed in to give it a new appeal. So, I'd love to hear some feedback on this, and any suggestions to make this something worth trying.
  6. Artemis Entreri "Keep lining 'em up, and I'll keep knocking them out!" It's pretty easy to manage a fighter who never backs down from a challenge and has the confidence this man has. I don't even know what to say anymore, this man is a KO king. He told me that he was raw, but that I wouldn't regret signing him, and he's lived up to his word. He's now won 6 in a row, all by KO/TKO. 3-0 since joining APEX and the Savage program, and he takes that title to heart. With a steady flow of performances like this, it's evident in his body of work that he truly embraces the Savage mentality. From a training perspective, Artemis has never had a lack of raw power and the ability to land the money shot when standing, but he's really come on of late working on his ground defense. Before, he used to tell me a fight wouldn't make it to the ground before his opponent was sleeping, and it's hard to question that. But after stressing to him that the competition would only keep getting stronger, he's really dug in and put in work in his ground game. I'm very proud of the fighter he has become, and extremely excited to see how high he can go as he puts all of these skills together.
  7. Artemis Entreri 2-0 KT 5-0 MMA 0-1 Test fight Artemis - "Oops, I did it again!" Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1 we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Artemis Entreri! I will try to write something up for this update in a few days when I have some time off. In the mean time, just know that Artemis is going around showing people his recently created KO highlight reel. Apparently, women like aggressive men.
  8. Artemis Entreri "McBeth improved, he lasted 2 more seconds this time around.. Who's next?"
  9. Savage Rising Star - Vol. 2 Artemis Entreri A heavy hand met with a granite chin, and in less than one minute, this fight met an early end. I don't know if it was the excitement for the challenge of facing another KO artist, if it was extra motivation for becoming a Savage fighter, or maybe he just wanted to put on a good show before the move to Apex. Hell, who am I kidding, it was a little of each of the above, but the reality is "The Assassin" is a cold blooded killer who likes to push the limits. He stepped into the cage in a fight that I truly felt could have gone either way. Both guys were able to end fights early with their power, and Thuta has shown to have a granite chin as well. Entreri took that as motivation and turned in his best fight to date with a 49 second KO victory. Next up, his first official fight in APEX, Entreri will be stepping into the cage with Mustafa McBeth. This fight is only a few days away as Entreri felt his previous fight hadn't really been much of a fight and didn't want to waste the camp. So next up! McBeth is another young up and coming striker with elite boxing skills and two KO victories under his belt. The only problem is, he's also got a single KO loss under his belt as well. Can you guess who handed him that defeat? You got it, Entreri finished that fight in a minute and a half, but to be fair, it is the longest anyone has stood against him to this point in his young career. His sparring match with teammate aside, of course. What does this mean for Entreri? It means two things. 1) McBeth will want revenge and is coming into this with a chip on his shoulder, and 2) The Assassin will be putting this to rest and laying claim to the KO of the Night award on Sept. 24th, of the year of the Savage, 2023.
  10. Thank you, he did well. He's got a savage right for sure.
  11. Artemis Entreri Savage Rising Star, Vol. 1 "The Assassin" has looked great in his last two bouts, finishing both of his opponents in the first round. This is nothing new to Entreri, but the money is better than what he's used to. In the past 4 years, he's unofficially KO'd 17 opponents, 3 in the same night, and all quick enough to escape the boys in blue who showed up to sort out the mess. But with that behind him, he's focused on the next man up. His next opponent will not be an easy fight. This man is trained and managed by a great team and to underestimate him would be dangerous, to say the least. While Artemis has a mean streak, he must keep his composure and not allow himself to be rattled in the cage. His opponent, Thuta, has appeared in two title fights to date, and while going 0-1-1 in those fights, it takes a hell of a fighter to be in the position to earn that shot. And on a 3 fight win streak, Thuta is definitely looking for another one. I spoke to Artemis about this fight and he had the following to say... Artemis "Man, this is going to be a brawl! Did you see that dude's KO over Vitalk? Sick ass spinning backfist. I'm gonna have to try that some time. The dude is for real, 3 in a row is hard to do. And when I win this fight and make it 3 in a row myself, you can bet your ass I'll be looking forward at that gold strap sooner rather than later." Well, guess you have your answer. He's confident, maybe overly so. But a win here will give him a leg to stand on as being the Savage that he is. Shout out for the work on the savage card. It looks great, but doesn't paste well to the forums. Click the link (name) above to take a look!
  12. Hey guys, I'm looking for a new owner for SYN. I no longer have a desire to play the game thanks to a certain group of people who seem to only play this game to make others lives miserable. You guys know who you are, so good job, you win. I don't even know what the beef was about, but I'm over this High School drama shit you guys want to play. So, I'm tapping out. I'll not be a dick (unlike them) and just shut down the org and screw over the roster. But you guys can have this game, and for you dip shits who only play to be a complete douche, kudos.. I hope this makes you happy so that you can start acting like grown ups and get over yourselves.
  13. I didn't even consider that... can it even work? I have plenty of unused avatars I can switch to if need be.
  14. I added a profile for Artemis. Let's just roll with him as my nomination. Thanks!
