Nice win for Greywar, Laboy will be back tho...LOL

JP wanted me to convey his thanks for the opportunity to fight Laboy.

He would have said so himself but he only speaks Yiddish and is mostly illiterate.

On another note, these have been some damn fine events save for one thing... They need more Noonan!

KDU 25 - AMPED

Back in action, both Konflikt “Down Under” and your post fight commentator. After a devastating head kick to my hard drive, I have upgraded to brand new computer that is tops for its division, at least for a few more months anyway. KDU is back as well, returning to Hyashi’s Lounge on Friday night to once again blow the roof of the venue. After or hugely successful “Klash of the Titans” card at the Bondi Outdoor Arena we went a little more intimate and back to our roots by bringing the fans of Hyashi a great card of action and a title fight that was sure to get them AMPED.

Leo Bertos (5-5) vs. Paul Hogan (5-8)

Since coming to KDU from the now defunct Warriors Fight Org, neither of these fighters have really been able to establish themselves as successful KDU gladiators. This was sort of loser leave town match as another loss for either man could punch their ticket to the fighter scrap yard. Neither combatant felt comfortable with their standup game, so this match went to the mat rather quickly. Once on the ground it was Hogan’s sub attempts pitted against Bertos’ sick ground and pound. With both fighters unable to end this one the judges were called in to render a decision on this closely contested match, and awarded Bertos the win. Another win and some more experience for Bertos, let’s see if he can parlay this into a revived career.

Stelious Nicosiou (3-2) vs. Jorge Threesixfive (5-2)

Since winning in the main event fight at KDU 3, Nicosiou has been on a downward spiral and looking to get back to the fighter that started his career 3-0. Jorge Threesixfive came to KDU with only one loss on his record and scored a win in his first fight for the org. Unfortunately, his next outing was not so successful after being stopped by Mondial Dos in the second round, would he bounce back here? Jorge was able to dodge some strikes from Nicosiou and managed to use that off balance momentum to score a takedown so his great BJJ skills could take over this fight. Once on the mat, Jorge dominated Nicosiou with some great movement and many sub attempts. At 3:24 of round one Jorge locked in an inescapable Kimura and Stelious had no other options but tap or have his shoulder ripped. 365 is making his way up the LHW ranks and looks to be a true contender in the division.

Sheamus Noonan (3-1) vs. Melvin Carter (1-2)

Noooooonnnnnnaaaaaannnn! Since coming to KDU, the Noonan brothers have won some fights and have lost some fights, but every fight these siblings are involved in are exciting ones. Tony Carter had the unfortunate opportunity of facing the second born of these quadruplet maniacs as Sheamus made very quick work of his opponent with a left right combo that tucked Carter into bed for the night. Sheamus let out a loud yell and repeatedly smacked himself in the face to celebrate this nasty KO.

Boot Head (4-2) vs. Jeff Spicoli (2-0)

Mr. Head? Mr. Hand? Either way Spicoli doesn’t like him. After leaving Legacy, Boot Head came to KDU as a hot young undefeated prospect, but his two fights in Konflikt have both ended in a loss and a drop in this fighter’s worth. Now, Boot Head was matched up against a newer fighter in Spicoli that has been knocking people out faster than a White Widow bong hit. Spicoli came out strong trying to once again score the quick KO, but Head weathered the storm and slowly moved the fight into the clinch to exploit the under experienced Spicoli. Through all three rounds Boot Head controlled the action and nullified any chance of Spicoli scoring a knockout. The judges easily awarded Boot Head the win which helps move him back on track in the Middleweight Division. For Spicoli, this fight serves as a lesson to learn a little more about his weaknesses and ways to improve his career.

Walter Sobchak (1-1) vs. Gregory The Giraffe (3-1)

Two young fighters trying to find their way met up to see which would take the next step to advancing their careers. Greg The Giraffe went after Sobchak like the animal that he is, using his powerful legs to easily dispatch the overmatched Sobchak. Two head kicks were all it took for The Giraffe to KO Sobchak a mere twenty three seconds into the first round. After an initial loss, this win helps move The Giraffe back in the right direction.

Ian Noonan (2-2) vs. Casper Orion (3-1)

Another crazy Noonan was scheduled for the AMPED card against a tough opponent in Casper Orion. Noonan’s wild antics as he entered the cage seemed to psyche out Orion even before the bell rang. Was it the pulling out of his hair on the way to the cage or self induced scratches he inflicted across his chest while the two fighters stared each other down? No one knows for sure, but Casper definitely seemed like he had seen a ghost. This uneasiness carried over into the fight as Orion was caught with a sick over hand right that sent him astral plaining and dreaming of yesteryear. Another great Noonan war dance was then put on display as this crazy animal gyrated over his fallen victim

Dirk Janssen (3-0) vs. Anthony Mundine (2-1)

Mundine’s young career has taken on a “beat him to the punch” path. In his previous fights he has either landed the sick knockout punch or received the sick knockout punch, which way would this one go? As for Janssen, this was his KDU debut after coming to us with the influx of other Syndicate fighters. It didn’t take long for Janseen to answer the question of who could land the vicious shot first as a brutal head kick found its mark and planted Mundine. A few follow up shots and the ref had to step in and stop the fight. Janssen showed the rest of the welterweight division that there is a new terror in town and one they should be on the watch for.

Lidel Castro (3-1) vs. Thery Sanon (3-3)

Former PFC Featherweight Champ, Thery Sanon had a tough KDU debut and looked to better his previous showing and prove he belonged in the ranks of Konflikt. No better way to show his worth than to take out a tough up and comer like Lidel Castro who has been crushing everyone that gets in his way. Castro however had other plans as he quickly displayed the punching power that has helped him dispatch many of his previous foes by landing a hook to the head of Sanon that opened a deep gash. A few minutes later Castro beat Sanon down to one knee and continued the onslaught until Sanon tapped the mat to put a stop to the beating…..Tapped to strikes??? And you call yourself a fighter? Sanon did his best “no mas” impression and awarded Castro yet another victory.

Jake Jordan (7-1) vs. Lucas Black (6-3)

Jordan left Legacy with an undefeated record and his eyes on the 170lb title held by Piston Honda. After a second round KO at the hands of Honda, Jordan looked to rebound against another fighter on a hot streak. That hot streak fighter happened to be Lucas Black, who since avenging a loss to Brooklyn Rider has been KO’ing every fighter to step in the cage against him. This fight was a stand up war as both fighters used their great boxing skills to try and gain the advantage, but it was Black that was the more accurate as he peppered the cranium of Jordan with murderous punches. A one two combo put Jordan on rubbery legs which marked the beginning of the end as Black closed in and raped him against the cage. After quite a few unanswered shots, the ref stepped in and ended this massacre. Lucas Black raced around the cage with excitement as this win moves him even closer to a shot at the 170lb title.

Mike Barraclough (6-0-1) vs. Piston Honda (6-1)

The stage was set and the crowd was AMPED, the main event was upon us and the Giant Killer made his way to the cage to face his next opponent, Mike Barraclough. Barraclough has beaten many a Syndicate fighter and has proved his worth for this title fight opportunity over and over again. For Honda it was another fight in this storybook tale about the little engine that could. Time after time Honda has been the underdog coming into his fights and has always proved the doubters wrong with a big right hand, could this streak be continued here? Honda came out swinging wildly and looking to once again score a quick KO, but Barraclough was ready for it and dodged many of the sledgehammer shots. Knowing that he did not want to test out the punching power of Honda, Barraclough moved the fight to the mat and started to work some ground and pound. Round after round, Barraclough did his best GSP impression by taking the standup warrior to the mat where his striking was nullified. The fans were not too happy with the performance, but Barraclough new if the fans were booing, he was winning the fight. After five rounds of utter takedown domination the judge’s easily awarded Barraclough the win and the Welterweight Title. Petro Farantini wrapped the newly designed Konflikt Welterweight Belt around the waist of Barraclough and raised his hand in the air. Barraclough finally solved the Piston Honda puzzle and put an end to this chapter of the Cinderella story, I doubt the book will be closed forever though.

It has been a tough month for the champions at KDU as we have seen five titles change hands recently. This just shows the high level of competition that swells in the ranks of KDU, just like Sinatra said “if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.” AMPED was another fine show put on by the managers and fighters of KDU, a big thanks to everyone that took part.

Konflikt "Down Under" - BigTree's Birthday Bash

What’s up boys and girls, hope all is well with you in real life and Tycoon land. It’s been a while since we have touched base and I wanted to reach out to you and promote our biggest show to date. This Saturday, Schooner’s 7,000 seat venue will be host to BigTree’s Birthday Bash.

It case you didn’t know, I am BigTree and Saturday is my birthday so why not throw a great party at Schooners Bar and invite all of you to attend. There will be plenty of Beer, Liquor, and other assorted party favors to distort reality, no need to bring anything.

My good buddy, Dennis Hof, from the Bunny Ranch in Las Vegas (18+ please) will be sending over the extra curricular entertainment and yes we will even have something for the ladies and girlie men. Oh yeah, we will also have an action packed card of top fighters taking the cage to blow the roof off of the Schooners and give Sydney a show to talk about for the ages.

Feeling Lucky? Stop on in to Throwdown Bookmakers and place a bet on one of your fighters or a favorite fighter of yours today. Fellow KDU manager Arran Newson has opened up Throwdown recently, and he will be taking action on all Konflikt “Down Under” fight cards as well as UFC and other orgs. Know your fighter is going to crush his next opponent? Drop some cash on him and put your money where your mouth is.

Let’s take a look at our exciting matches coming up for this weekend’s HUGE event.

Fight #1 Domenic Vera vs. Chito Hua

Vera has had a rough go since coming into KDU as the former Legacy Middleweight Champion. A quick KO against Tyler Hellstrom prompted Vera’s manager to call for an instant rematch. The second go around lasted longer, but the results were the same giving Vera two straight losses. He now looks to rebound against a tough fighter in Chito Hua. Hua has been with the org his whole fighting career and has amassed a pretty impressive 7-3 record. He recently has won two in a row after losing in his title fight against then champion Gary Hudson; a win here could launch him back up into the title picture. Vera holds the edge on their feet, but Hua has the heart of a champion.

Throwdown Odds – Hua -122 vs. Vera -108

----------
Fight #2 Gora Sammo vs. Robert Buddy

Sammo is a young fighter with a pretty good record. Just recently turning 21, Sammo has dispatched some quality opponents, but seems to have a soft chin against pure strikers. Enter Robert Buddy who has made a nice home for himself here at KDU winning four of his last five fights with three of those wins coming by way of knockout. Will Sammo’s chin be able to handle the onslaught from stone fisted Buddy? Buddy’s chin has taken some damage in the past as well and four of Sammo’s six wins have come way of KO…This should be a war

Throwdown Odds – Sammo -113 vs. Buddy - 117

----------
Fight #3 Bill Pharoni vs. Hezkiah LeMasters

Bill Pharoni brought an unblemished QFC record into Konflikt, only to be stopped by strikes in his first two KDU fights. A recent win over Go Yamamoto has resurrected his career and he looks to gain even more ground in the 145lb division against DEC transport, Hezekiah LeMasters. LeMasters was a top fighter in the Sydney org DEC, but two title fight losses made him lose favor with the DEC management, so he was sent over to KDU to try and regain his glory days. In his KDU debut he made quick work of Thery Sanon with a Kimura in a mere sixty four seconds into the fight. Pharoni holds a distinctive edge in the standup department so LeMasters will really want to get this fight to the ground to work his BJJ magic.

Throwdown Odds – Pharoni -163 vs. LeMasters +122

----------
Fight #4 Eddie Purcell Jr vs. Sid Sydney

This will be Purcell’s first action in KDU as he comes in riding a three fight QFC win streak. Purcell has some great boxing skills and seems to mix it up with heavy hands scoring two very quick KO’s against his opponents. His only loss was from an armbar submission which makes his KDU debut a tough one going up against the submission specialist, Sid “The Kid” Sydney. Sydney has tremendous BJJ skills, but his chin has been susceptible to punches in the past. His most recent loss came from heavy handed Frank McGee IV in a quick, thirty one second beating. Purcell will need to use his striking power to put an end to this fight early and hope he does not end up on the mat with Sydney working him over.

Throwdown Odds – Purcell Jr. +108 vs. Sydney -144

----------
Fight #5 Heywood Jablowme vs. Johnny Disis

Jablowme is an all around terror and has had and up and down career while scraping against some of the best in Syndicate. Jablowme beat the unbeaten Paolo Santos in his KDU debut and is looking to continue his path up the 185lb division ladder with a second straight win over Johnny Disis. These two are no strangers as both did battle on the Syndicates final show with Disis gaining the judges decision. Jablowme needs to keep this one standing if he wants to claim revenge, a trip to the mat could spell his doom.

Throwdown Odds – Jablowme +100 vs. Disis -133

----------
Fight #6 Hickson Gwacie vs. Kah Fing
It’s been a while since Gwacie last did battle in a cage. Gwacie makes his KDU debut after spending his career down in the jungle’s of Rio. This former FFB Welterweight Champion was wooed into KDU during a late night chat session and now looks to make his mark on the Sydney fight scene. Gwacie has a tough debut against Kah Fing who has won six out of his last seven fights. Fing will be looking to keep this fight standing and use his clear striking advantage against the Brazilian born, Brazilian trained, Jiu Jitsu master. If this fight goes to the mat, I see a tap tap tap in Fing’s future

Throwdown Odds – Gwacie -160 vs. Fing +120

----------
Fight #7 Joe Langston vs. Tommy Sander

Langston has hit a rough stretch coming into this fight. After pretty much destroying everyone in the LHW Division en route to capturing his belt, he quickly lost his title on a very close decision against the last minute stand in challenger, Theodore Malenko. After that loss he was sent to DEC to compete in a Superfight against their 205lb champ, Aiden Kincaid. Langston again tasted defeat at the hands of Kincaid and came back to KDU as a beaten man. After a quick pep talk from your truly, Langston felt revived and asked for an immediate chance at getting back his recently lost title. Since Langston was still head and shoulders above the other fighters in the division in Hype/pop, the fight was signed and here we are today. Langston’s journey back to the gold will not be easy as the title is held securely around the waist of Tommy Sander. Sander has a very impressive, unblemished 7-0 record, and while he does not display great knockout power, he has some of the most accurate punches in all of MMA. This one will be interesting as the power punches of Langston will meet the precision standup of Sander

Throwdown Odds – Langston +147 vs. Sander -199

----------
Fight #8 Tadamasa Yamada vs. Eric Lawler

“The Dragon” Yamada comes into this match with a five fight win streak and is looking to become one of the top contenders for the Middleweight crown. Yamada has been destroying all in his path with some powerful strikes during this win streak. Eric Lawler is represented by one of MMA Tycoon’s top managers, Mr. Legendary Legend. Legend is well known around the Tycoon circles and a force to be reckoned with. Lawler will be making his KDU debut in this fight and also bringing in a five fight win streak with every win coming by way of KO, someone is going to end up unconscious.

Throwdown Odds – Yamada +125 vs. Lawler -167

----------
Fight #9 Carter Potter vs. Gordon Hood

After his most recent loss to Dan Bowbish, which cost him the heavyweight crown, Potter is looking to rebound quickly and get another chance at wearing the gold around his waist…..Bring on the grudge match. These two fighters are no strangers at all with this being the third time these warriors have faced each other inside the cage with Potter getting the win by way of strikes in the previous meetings. Hood’s manager has assured me this time will be different, he assures me this time Hood has the Lion’s number….we shall see, whichever fighter wins this fight will be next in line for a shot at the gold.

Throwdown Odds – Potter -138 vs. Hood +104

----------
Fight #10 Oppola Doc vs. Dan Bowbish

I cannot wait for this fight. Oppola Doc against Dan Bowbish is going to absolutely rock Schooners Bar. Doc had strung together an impressive eight fight win streak before running into JT Colossus and Marcelo Galvoa in Syndicate. Doc was able to avenge his loss to Galvoa with a sick TKO win early in the first round of Syndicate’s last show. In his first fight for KDU on KDU 24 – Klash of the Titans, Doc took only 16 seconds to destroy the unbeaten record of Derya Sevket. He now sets his sights on the Heavyweight Title and the man that holds that belt, Dan Bowbish. Bowbish also was a great warrior in the Syndicate and came to Konflikt for one reason, to take out Carter Potter and capture the title. At KDU 24 he too pulled off a quick win by opening up a Texas Chainsaw Massacre type cut on the champ’s head which left the Doctor no option but to call the fight. Doc holds the edge on the feet and Bowbish has the edge on the ground, this is going to be a classic battle.

Throwdown Odds – Doc -153 vs. Bowbish +115

----------
Come on down to Schooners and enjoy an evening of fun and debauchery, leave the kids at home and celebrate my Birthday Bash. We’ll see you at the fights

Whats up with Konflikt Vegas? No fights, no log-ins...

I think I heard that his org was for sale, or was it Konflikt Helenski? I forgot, but maybe the owner just went inactive.

What’s up boys and girls? It has been awhile since your grateful host has made contact with my fellow managers and friends of Konflikt “Down Under”. Real world things have been consuming much of my spare time of late with job, family, and a soon to happen wedding for this long time bachelor (Just so happened to book my wedding in Vegas the same weekend as the UFC Expo and Rashad Evans vs. Rampage fight…wink…wink)

But enough about me; lets talk about our great org and all the outstanding happenings of past, present, and future.

On May 1st, we had our greatest show ever; “BigTree’s Birthday Bash”, which smashed our event rating record by posting a HUGE 162 rating. This in turn launched our “little” org into the #17 ranked org globally. A new Heavyweight Champion was crowned when Opolla Doc was able to outlast and outpoint Dan Bowbish who had won the title in his previous fight against Carter Potter. Speaking of Potter, he too won his match that night and now gets a chance to win his title back by facing off against Doc on June 5th.

Our Light Heavyweight Champ, Tommy Sander, was able to defend his title for the first time when he went the distance with former champion, Joe Langston, proving to be a real force in the 205lb division.

This event was followed up with two events over the past weekend. KDU 29 – BEEFY put many of our Heavyweight and Super Heavyweight fighters on display. The evening ended with the SHW title being put on the line as recently crowned champ, Ryan Noonan, lost his title by decision against the tough and rugged Sione Finau. Our 265+ division seems to be really heating up and it is also one of our thinnest divisions so if you have a guy in 265+ that is worth a damn; you may want to hit me up for a contract.

Our 30th event KDU XXX – X Rated was another huge success that saw the crowning of a new Featherweight Champion. Newly signed Bosse Grepp did not waste anytime in securing KDU gold as he was able to submit Luke Fluke with a Kimura late in the third round. The always impressive, JP Greywar, took on Pablo Soriano and once again defended his Bantamweight Belt; pushing his record to a flawless 10-0 in the process.

We have 5 awesome events on the horizon all named for a reason….See if you can guess when I am heading to Vegas and getting married.

As always Throwdown Bookmakers is taking action on all KDU events. Get over there and try to take Arran’s money….he is begging you to try. I personally have been doing quite well betting on your fighters; let’s see what you can do.

Sorry it has been awhile since I have done a true write-up. Hopefully I will be able to crank them out again real soon. If anyone wants to take a crack at it, let me know and I will make it worth your while.

State of Konflikt and Show Recaps

A big hello to the greatest managers in all Tycoon land. We have had some exciting times here at Konflikt “Down Under”, both personally and in game, let’s try and get everyone caught up.

Personally I attended the UFC Expo last week at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas to get a close up look on the greatest fight org around, man was I amazed. I had a personal meeting with none other than Dana White (have the pics to prove it :smile_anim: ) to discuss how to run a successful fight org, and his advice was, “BigTree, just keep your heart and soul into it and all good things will come”. Great words from a great man, and a great weekend spent with some really cool fighters and fans, hopefully some of you out there were able to experience it as well. Oh yeah, I also got married out in Vegas too :smile_anim:

Enough about me, let’s talk about one of the best places to fight in Sydney and all the game, Konflikt “Down Under". The staff at KDU has been extremely busy over the past few weeks bringing in some HUGE talent from around the globe as well as many top, local based Sydney fighters. I personally would like to welcome Jason Punch Your Face In as well as his wife, Crash Kaboom. These two esteemed Sydney managers ran Boomerang!, which has recently closed its doors and flooded the free agent market with some high level talent. Just to give you an idea on the type of fans these two are, check out their face book page and see if YOU can recognize any of the people they have pictures with ^_^ CLICK HERE FOR PICS

If you take a look around you will notice all the new fighters from the local Sydney scene as well as all over the world that have joined our ever growing fight team. A couple of my buds from Broken Halo Pride have sent some representatives to compete in super fights against our top talent, and be prepared for a Halo invasion sometime in late July. Not sure what a Halo Invasion is? Check out CoV and HellsBalls Amsterdam http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgeventpublic.php?EvID=63227 and you will notice one whole fight card where all Halo fighters come in to challenge the local competition, it will be a great night of fighting for all. It’s events with top talent that really help launch our org into one of the top fight stops in the game. Thanks to you guys we have recently moved into the #2 spot in Sydney, one more to go.

Our biggest signing to date happened just the other night. Let me be the first to welcome our newest KDU member, “Mr. Sydney” himself, Lath Hoy! Hoy has been destroying everyone in XCC and has decided to join us here at KDU and make his mark on the MW division. Tadamassa Yamada better hold onto that 185lb belt with both hands….here comes HOY!

Speaking of Yamada, he became the first man to hand Fedor Silva a loss in quite a long time, and he did so in very convincing fashion. It took a mere 42 seconds for Yamada to impose his will and smash the skull of the former champ, Silva. That was a vicious beating doled out by those hammers that Yamada calls hands. That impressive win sets the stage for Yamada’s first defense against Hoy at the end of June, no such thing as an easy fight in KDU.

KDU 33 – Vegas Baby & KDU 34 - Ball and Chain, were both outstanding events. Many fighters really established themselves with some impressive wins to help advance their careers. There was a lot of talent on these cards; I can’t wait to witness all these fighters back in action to see which ones will be future title holders.

Our most recent event, KDU 35 – Fighting for Freedom, once again set the bar for the Sydney fight scene as our HW Title was put on the line. Recently crowned champ, Oppola Doc had his first title defense against the inaugural KDU HW Champion, Carter Potter. These two behemoths did not waste any time exchanging blows as both were gashed and bleeding within two minutes of the opening bell. In round two Doc really poured it on, smashing his fists into Potters bloody noggin and dropping him to the canvas with a beautiful 3,4,6 combo. Potter battled back, but after a few more precise blasts by Doc, the ref had no choice but to stop the fight due to Potter’s gaping wound. Doc is proving to be a real force in the HW division; can anyone stop this Man-Beast?

Our Co Main Event showcased two more HW warriors when Mana Oregan went up against Gordon Hood. These two fought tooth and nail to the delight of the crowd for three straight rounds. Back and forth the action went with many wondering which way the judges would lean. In the end it was Oregan getting the nod and moving up the ranks of the HW division. With this win, Oregan puts himself in a great spot to possibly challenge for the HW title should Dan Bowbish lose his upcoming fight against the always tough Robert Lee. Hood should not be too disappointed though; his true warrior spirit showed in this fight and helped make it the Fight of the Night earning both men an extra $1000

Dominic Vera earned Knockout of the Night Honors when he landed a sick uppercut to the jaw of Heywood Jablowme that drew oooohhhhssss!!! from the crowd. I guess Vera answered Heywood’s question with a resounding NO!

Laclan Anderson, Robert Buddy, Ray Wickleby, Neck Cranka, Charlie McCarthy, Mark Markus, and Anthony Mundine all picked up wins on the card and look to continue their forward momentum the next time they step into the cage.

All in all it was a great night for fights, it was a great night for Sydney, and it was a great night for Konflikt “Down Under”. I want to once again thank all the managers that have helped make KDU what it is today, without you guys (and girls) we would not stand in the position that we have achieved.

Sorry if this is a stupid question,

but did you IRL talk to Dana White about your MMATYCOON fight org? :)

Yes sir, he scheduled me in for a 20 minute meeting to discuss the inner workings of my online gaming fight org :youwish:

But I did get a chance to meet him and get a few pics with him...A real cool dude, and very, very genuine. I could really get a sense of why the UFC has become as successful as it has with him behind the wheel. The energy he has surrounding him is unreal.

What’s up boys and girls, wanted to send you quick note on the happening both past, present, and future for Konflikt "Down Under”

Past – We wrapped up two great events this weekend when our fans packed the arenas to witness KDU 36 – Constant Barrage & KDU 37 – T.A.T.

The fighters competing on Constant Barrage left it all in the cage as we had six fights end by way of KO or TKO. In a tough decision, Jimmy Sisfa was narrowly awarded the Knockout of the Night when he landed a crisp head kick to the cranium of Russel Mauvernay causing Russell to do his best impression of the walking dead. Another great TKO victory was won by the Dangerous one, Danny Drake. Drake’s vicious third round TKO of Sid Sydney launches him close to the top of the Heavyweight division and looking for a title shot in the very near future. With one more win under his belt he should be right where he needs to be to get a shot at the gold.

Our main event saw the Light Heavyweight Title get put on the line when Tommy Sander defended his title for the third time against Michael “Doomsday”Adams. Through five rounds Sander put his precision striking on display as he turned Adams face into a chop meat salad. The fans applauded both warriors for the battle they put on and this fight easily took Fight of the Night Honors.

Since we did not have a submission on this card I have upped the bonuses to $1500.

On Saturday night the fans busted out the hibachis for a little BBQ and beatdowns at the Bondi Outdoor Arena. The Vuvuzelas were blowing in full force as many fans came to the event after watching World Cup Soccer all day.

KDU 37 T.A.T saw some outstanding fights were some fighters were able to distinguish themselves from the pack while others were able to get their careers moving back in the right direction.

Te Mana Lumotuffio has been a fighter on a hot streak lately after suffering back to back loses he was able to seek revenge on his long time friend, Livad L Asponatour with a submission win a month ago and now has pulled off another submission on KDU 37 against Ryan Gallo. Lumotuffio pulled off a beautiful Triangle Choke with only thirty seconds left in round number one and earned the $1000 bonus for Sub of the Night.

Pablo Soriano is looking to get back into title contention and he started his journey with a TKO victory over Bob Jam. It took only two minutes and ten seconds for Soriano to deliver some devastating shots to the temple of Jam that sent him tumbling to the canvas and earning Soriano the $1000 bonus for Knockout of the Night.

As darkness fell on the outdoor arena the fans were whipped into a feverous pitch as the Vuvuzelas wailed with an ear shattering buzzzzzzzzzz, it was time for the Co Main Event. The match was a battle for the Featherweight Title as newly crowned champ, Bosse Grepp, defended his title for the first time against Lidel Castro. Castro’s manager, Eirik Tveit was quite vocal leading up to this fight on how his fighter was going to bring the belt over to his camp, Castro did not disappoint. Not sure what Grepp’s game plan was, but too many takedown attempts spelled doom for the champ. Castro was able to use some great sprawl n brawl to pick apart Grepp for five rounds and easily earn the judge’s decision as well as the 145lb belt.

Our former KDU Heavyweight Champion, Dan Bowbish, took on a newcomer to KDU in Robert Lee. Lee had great success in TTC and has now come “down under” to turn the Sydney fight world on its side. Bowbish looked to control the action by catching Lee and taken him to the ground to try a little ground and pound, but Lee had other ideas as he swiveled his hips and locked in a tight guillotine that sent Bowbish into night night land. Lee jumped to his feet with his arms raised in victory as the crowd showered him with applause.

Two great events put on by the best fighters in Sydney, the fans of KDU cannot get enough.

Present – We have had another great week of signing some real talented fighters. Our ranks have now swelled to 200 fighters, which is great for putting on two shows a weekend and allowing everyone plenty of time to rest and train. You can expect your guys to fight at least once a month, if you want more then let me know.

Future – We will have one of our biggest shows to date coming up in July as the Halo Invasion is on its way to Konflikt “Down Under”. I will be booking an arena for July 27th and will be looking for some of the top Hyped fighters in each division to rise to the challenge and take on the invasion. These will not be one and done fights as each fighter has committed to a four fight contract here in KDU, let the invasion begin.

As always, thanks for the help in making our org great. Without you, we would be nothing. If you need anything, if you have any suggestions, concerns, or criticism, feel free to contact me anytime. Talk with you all real soon, and bring the Konflikt.

KDU - The Call Out

The fighters of Konflikt “Down Under” once again delivered a great weekend of action for the fight fans of Sydney. Two titles were on the line as well as a long time coming grudge match to accompany all the other exciting fights that took place over Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday night the fans packed Hard Knocks to capacity for a special KDU Event, “The Call Out”. The Call Out came about when Dave F, manager of Zedicus Jones, contacted the front office of KDU and requested a fight between Zed and KDU Bantamweight, Augusto Ricardo. The history between Jones and Ricardo goes back over a year ago when these two warriors made their debut for a fledgling org by the name of The Syndicate. Almost six hundred fans were in attendance at Paddy O’Mally’s Bar as these two fighters were the very first match ever to happen for an org that later became the top fight org in all Tycoonland. Ricardo made quick work of Jones in that fight by landing some precision strikes that rocked Jones and opened up a sick cut over his eye. After only two and a half minutes the doc had seen enough and called a stop to the fight. The two fighters went their separate ways after that and enjoyed very good careers, but the loss seemed to really resonate with Jones and that loss kept the fire burning through all those tough training sessions.

Fast forward to now, the Syndicate is no more and both fighters stand close to the top of their division, the only problem, they are in different orgs. Luckily for them, KDU and DEC work very closely together, a quick email was all it took to change this superfight from a dream into a reality, and so the Main Event was set and a special KDU Event was titled, “The Call Out”.

Zedicus Jones (10-4) vs. Augusto Ricardo (10-6-1)

In this highly anticipated rematch it was Jones that came out swinging and landing some brutal strikes that sent Ricardo tumbling to the mat early in the first round. Ricardo was able to recover and hang on to see the round close, but he was visibly shaken up by the improved standup skills of Jones. In round two Ricardo was able to battle back and land a few takedowns so he could work over Jones with some ground and pound, but Jones still gained the edge in their standup exchanges and again won the round. Round three came about and Ricardo went for it all, continuous takedowns and ground and pound work, but not enough to finish and too little too late to win the judges over. Jones was awarded the decision victory and the taste of sweet revenge by avenging his first ever loss, the fans at Hard Knocks showered both fighters with applause and appreciation. These two left it all in the cage and earned Fight of the Night honors.

Dave Torrua (3-0) vs. Jack Sole (4-0)

In the Co-Main Event, knockout artist, Jack “Got” Sole squared off against another deadly striker, Dave “Rolling Thunder” Torrua. Sole wasted no time as he stormed out and launched an assault of strikes that sent Torrua to the ground. Sole jumped into Torrua’s guard and landed a huge elbow to turn out the lights, the rest of the strikes were merely icing on the cake as the damage had already been done, this one was all over. Jack is truly proving that he has soul, he also has an extra $1000 for winning the KO of the night bonus, and he may have a heavyweight title belt around his waist before long if he keeps up this knockout streak.

Juan Dela Cruz (10-6) vs. Mondo Topless (8-1)

Former OFC Featherweight Champ, Mondo Topless was able to pick up a win in his Konflikt debut as he opened a deep gash across Juan Dela Cruz’s head. With blood gushing down the face and body of Dela Cruz, the doc had to put an end to the fight and send Dela Cruz off to the hospital for some stitch work.

Livad L Aspinatour (2-3) vs. Cletus Sheffield (1-1)

The big boys took the cage with Super Heavyweights, Livad L Aspinatour facing off against Cletus Sheffield. Aspinatour showed that big men can be technical too as he locked in a lighting fast Armbar that forced Sheffield to tap quickly. A great submission win for Aspinatour and one that earned him the Sub of the Night Bonus.

In other action….

Johnny Storm defeated Frank Rizzo by way of judge’s decision

Casper Orion defeated Eero Heinaluoma by way of judge’s decision

Teddy Bass defeated Broland McEnroe by way of judge’s decision

Bernard Blackstone defeated Thomas Bay by way of judge’s decision

Bo Johnson defeated Nick Perez by way of judge’s decision

Hempii Sapponen defeated Tom Sander by way of Submission (Arm Triangle)

Thanks to everyone involved for putting on a great show and giving our fans everything they have come to expect from the managers and fighters at Konflikt “Down Under”.

KDU XL - Beach Battle at Bondi

On Sunday night it was time for the big event of the weekend….USA vs. Ghana??? England vs. Germany??? Fedor vs. Werdum??? NO! Hoy vs. Yamada at KDU XL – Beach Battle at Bondi. The Bondi Outdoor Arena was at capacity which left another 3,000 fans outside watching the event on a large projector screen set up by the front office of KDU. Everyone wanted to witness one of the greatest Middleweight battles of the year when former XCC Champ, Lath Hoy made his KDU debut by taking on KDU Middleweight Champ, Tadamasa Yamada.

Lath Hoy (12-2) vs. Tadamasa Yamada (9-2)

Early in the first round Hoy was able to score a takedown, and this fight quickly looked like it would go exactly Hoy’s way. Hoy has made a living by taking down his opponents and forcing his will on them until he catches them in a fatal error and locks in a violent submission, but Yamada is a student of the game and was ready for Hoy’s assaults. Yamada was able to control the action on the ground and avoid any real damage, once the ref stood the fighters back up, it was Yamada’s time to shine. A quick jab here, a straight right there, Yamada was sticking and moving beautifully and keeping Hoy off balance and in no position to go for takedowns. Even when Hoy did shoot for a takedown, it was anticipated by Yamada and countered nicely with an athletic sprawl and some punches for his trouble. Throughout all five rounds Yamada peppered Hoy with quick strikes and good foot movement to completely dominate the fight and easily earn the judge’s decision. The crowd went wild in support of Yamada’s huge win, not often do you see a champ come into a fight as a 2 to 1 underdog, but Yamada has once again beaten the odds and now sits atop Sydney as the best Middleweight in the city and ranked number five in the world.

Sione Finau (11-4) vs. Alligator Dundee (8-3)

Our Co Main Event had another title on the line as Sione Finau defended his Super Heavyweight Belt against the former Boomerang Super Heavyweight Champ, Alligator Dundee. After being cut in the opening seconds of the fight, Finau launched into action with some crushing body kicks that caused major damage to Dundee, Finau then grabbed Dundee with a plumb Muay Thai clinch and delivered a solid knee to his skull which dropped him to the canvas. Finau jumped into full mount and rained down strikes until Dundee tapped the mat in submission. Finau leaped to his feet and climbed the cage with his arms raised in triumphant victory, this is a dangerous man.

Lostma Braincells (4-0) vs. Talafua Toluao (6-3)

Braincells and Toluao faced off to see which fighter would be next in line to challenge for the SHW belt. This fight went the full three rounds with Toluao using his great wrestling skills to come out on top and earn the decision victory. With this win, Toluao will now get the chance to earn back his SHW belt from Finau. Both of these fighters put on a great show and have also earned the Fight of the Night Award.

Gunnar Strom (5-1) vs. Gorguryeo Kim (5-2)

After losing his first fight in the cage on his last outing, Strom was back for vengeance as he came after Kim like a wild man looking for a kill. Strom landed quite a few unanswered strikes, and then dropped Kim with a nasty 1-2-9 combo. Instead of jumping into guard and trying to finish the fight, Strom stood over his opponent with an evil grin and motioned him to get up. As soon as Kim returned to his feet, Strom let loose a hook that caved in the side of Kim’s face and made his toes curl up as he crashed to the floor and lay motionless. What a sick KO delivered by Strom and one worthy of the KO of the Night Bonus.

In other action….

Siduri Rafter defeated Rogerio Rodrigo by way of judge’s decision

Juan Delgado defeated Anthony Kollo by way of TKO

Rudy Martinez defeated Gary Mook by way of Knockout

Mahut Uno defeated Mark Shaun by way of judge’s decision

Roman Christos defeated Mike SIlva by way of Knockout

Kylar Syphon defeated Paolo Santos by way of TKO

Thanks again to all the supporters, managers, and fighters of KDU. I’ve said it before and I will say it again, without you we are nothing. This is your org; I am just the guy running things, thanks for making my job easy. Enjoy the next weekend off and Happy 4th of July to those on this side of the pond. We will see you all in a couple weeks for KDU 41 – Into the Wild

Hello friends and family of Konflikt “Down Under”.I wanted to take a few minutes and reach out to all of you to give you some clarity on the happenings inside our great org of late. On a personal note I have recently found myself a statistic, I am now part of the unemployment crisis facing many in the US. But worry not, I have been actively pursuing my next life path and welcome the challenge of starting over and moving into another phase.

Unfortunately this has put a slight limit to the amount of time I can devote to our great org and I am sure some of you have wondered, what is going on? Fear not my friends, I am going nowhere, my time may be a little less focused on the org as I would like or have had in the past, but I am not in any way shape or form leaving you high and dry. I am 2 days away from my 1 year anniversary of playing and in another couple of weeks I will re-up my VIP for another year...Konflikt “Down Under” will remain a strong org in Tycoonland.

Enough about me, let’s talk about you. You guys have had some tremendous fight over the past couple of weeks. KDU 41 “Into the Wild” was a siiiiiiick show! 7 wins by way of TKO or KO, absolutely outstanding. We also had two titles change hands that night with Forest Griffin knocking out Tommy Sander to win the LHW Title and Charles Manson tucking Lidel Castro into bed with a brilliant head kick to capture the Featherweight Belt.

KDU 42 “From the Ashes” followed suit and saw Carter Potter once again launch into the top of the HW rankings with a win over Danny Drake as well as Sheamus Noonan beating Bosse Grepp to get a crack at the Featherweight title against the newly crowned champ. A great weekend of fighting for all, and a big thanks to everyone that competed on those two cards,

The following weekend saw two more cards as KDU 43 “Unfinished Business” and KDU 44 “Knockout” packed the Hard Knocks arena. In KDU 43, Piston Honda once again defended his Welterweight Title on a 5 round war against #1 contender Kah Fing. Honda is quickly becoming one of the top fighters in the Welterweight Division; if he doesn’t knock you out cold he will beat you with his head.

Last night we had our biggest crowd yet witness a KDU show. KDU 45 “Halo Invasion” packed Schooners Bar with 7,000 screaming fans to witness a great night of fights. The Broken Halo Pride came into Konflikt and faced off with the best fighters we had to offer. The result was a great night of fights with the Halo getting most of the wins, but no belts changed hands.

In the Co Main Event the always crafty one, JP Greywar, once again successfully defended his title for the 4th time, pushing his record to an amazing 12-0 against top Bantamweight, Alex Burkhart. Greywar continues to defy all odds and has proven to be one of the very best in his weight class.

In our main event from last night it was a Heavyweight Showdown when reigning KDU champ, Oppola Doc squared off with Halo HW Robert Lee. This was a gruesome fight as both fighters were swinging early and often and looking for the KO finish. After an early cut, Doc regained his focus and delivered a vicious right that sent Lee stumbling. Lee was able to regain his composure, but not for long as Doc exploded on him with a nasty 1,2,3,6 combo that sent Lee again to the canvas. With his opponent in severe trouble, Doc pounced and quickly finished the fight with a series of unanswered strikes. The fans in the SOLD OUT Schooners Bar erupted in applause for all the great action they had witnessed this night.

Moving forward, I will be setting up our next couple of shows today and tomorrow which includes our 50th Event which will be held at the 10,000 seat arena…The Bridge. We would like to pack that mutha sucka to the ceiling, so if you have a great fighter in Sydney and he has some time for a fight on August 22nd, let me know and we will see what we can work out. All the current top fighters in KDU can expect to be on that show or headlining one of the cards leading up to it.

In closing I hope all is well with you and your families, thanks again for all the great support with your fighters showing up and performing their best. This org is yours as much as it is mine and I want to continue to give you the best gaming experience possible.

As always my email door is always open, if you have anything to say at all, feel free to drop me a line.

Happy Violence :smile_anim:

Hello Family and Friends of Konflikt "Down Under". Thanks to a new member of our management team, Shista McNasty, we have an outstanding recap of our Saturday night show KDU 46 - The Aftermath.

What a barn burner, KDU 46 - The Aftermath showed why Konflikt “Down Under” is one of Sydney's Premier organizations.

In the Nights Main Event Sione Finau retained his Super Heavyweight Title with a decisive Unanimous Decision over challenger Talafua Toluao winning every round in a beautiful display of true mixed martial arts that also earned "The Fight of the Night Award". Despite 5 rounds worth of stand up dominance, Finau worked in an even mix of clinchwork and ground control to his advantage. Toluao was by far the busier fighter standing up, but Finau held his own. Finau managed to cause and early cut across the brow of Toluao, which seemed to throw Toluao of his game and kept him on his heels and on his back for most of the fight.

In a stand up war Gunnar Strom showed his argument in the age old battle between Boxers vs. Muay Thai with his decision win over Tane Te Rauparaha. Rauparaha, despite holding various Muay Thai titles, seemed content to kickbox with the 7-1 Swedish Hockey Enforcer, that strategy proved to be his undoing. Once Rauparaha was unable to land effectively with his hands, he started to solely rely on his kicks and broke a cardinal rule in fighting, never become predictable. Even though Gunnar was cut early, he pushed through the blood and pain to dance circles around his flat footed opponent throwing punch after punch. Strom missed almost as many strikes as he landed, but in the end he was able to sway the judge’s decision

It was a match that was supposed to put Tom Kamm back on the winning path at the expense of the young rising star, Kylar Syphon. But Syphon would not be an easy win, proving why he is becoming a name to be feared in the 185 division. Kamm showed his class in the 1st round by eating some of Syphon's best shots, and yet still being able to take him down and work some aggressive ground and pound. Syphon's timing and distance was honed to a razor sharp edge, every time Kamm would force the action in hopes to create an opening for a takedown, Syphon would hammer him back with a various array of kicks and punches. Syphon remained patient in the stand up and composed on the ground as he looked for the perfect opportunity to catch his opponent off guard. That moment came in round number two as Syphon was able to catch the energy sapped Kamm with a furious high kick that sent him stumbling to the mat. With blood in the water, Syphon swarmed Kamm leaving him helpless and forcing the Referee to step in to call a stop to the fight.

Leading us to the lone Heavy Weight battle of the evening, Russell Jackman thoroughly dominated Dave Torrua leaving him a bloody mess in the cage. Torrua showed his moxy by fighting on until the doctor called the fight via cut. The match played out much like one you would see in the ADCC, with wrestling and grappling fortitude controlling much of the match. As a former Australian Olympic Wrestling Team member, Torrua was able to continuously land back to back takedowns with relative ease. Always very comfortable on his back, the World Ranked No-Gi Grappler, Jackman made sure that he took poor Torrua to the deep-end early by throwing sweep attempts and submissions every chance he got. On their feet, Jackman threw the lone standing strike with a stinging highkick that split open Torrua’s forehead. Later in the first, Jackman gave the wrestler at taste of his own medicine as he landed his own takedown and moved immediately into mount. In such a dominant position Jackman was able to impose his will through the rest of the 1st and continued his dominance into the 2nd taking Torrua to the woodshed via punches and elbows until the ref had no choice but to stop this beating.

Speaking of Ground Wars, let’s talk about the Light Heavy Weight match between Mahut Uno and Kane Otunga .These two warriors are both gifted and highly decorated wrestlers with Uno holding a Purple Belt and Otunga a white. This fight would be a chess match of sweeps and punches as Otunga landed the sole takedown which lead to a sight similar to lizards fighting in the wild. Otunga was able to gain the advantage and transitioned into mount where he dropped devastating bombs on Uno’s unprotected head. After a couple of clean shots bounced Uno’s head of the canvas he had no other option but to cover up and give the TKO victory to Otunga.

The Bantamweights showed the fat boys how to put on an exciting fight when Augusto Ricardo took on Yuri Orlov. These two windmills dived eagerly to the ground throwing punches and submissions, “willy-nilly” style. Ricardo was able to rock Orlov early and continued his ground and pound dissection of Orlov to eventually put him away with a TKO victory.

In a see-saw match, Bill Pharoni squeaked out the Unanimous Decision over Rogerio Rodrigo. After two rounds of action, this closely fought battle was knotted up 1 round a piece. In the third round, Pharoni came out with fire in his eyes and power in his fists as he and Rodrigo slugged it out in the center of the cage. Pharoni proved to be the more accurate puncher in round three and was able to secure the judge’s decision with a very impressive round.

In the most dominant showing of the night Frank Rizzo needed only a minute to put away Anthony Kollo. Each of Rizzo’s strikes seemed to be thrown with laser guided accuracy as each punch continuously landed on the target of Kollo's chin. This great display of standup skills looked extremely similar to when he won the gold medal at the New York Special Olympics. With this win Rizzo earned KO of the Night.

Seeing there was no Submission on this card there was a Second KO of the Night Awarded, this was given to Trainer Box for his KO of Lostma Braincells. In this match we were treated to two highly regarded strikers doing what they do best..... Punching.... Unfortunately Braincells' gameplan is questionable; he repeatedly tried to clinch up, but to no success. With Braincells unable to move the fight into the clinch, Box landed strikes at will ultimately sending Braincells to dreamland.

In probably the most overwhelming whippings of the night Chuck Norris went Walker Texas Ranger Style on Kimbo WhiteSlice. Norris was able to quickly take WhiteSlice down and absolutely dominate him. WhiteSlice landed no strikes in either round, while Norris went for broke landing 41 out of 44 strikes on the ground. With each solid strike, Norris was able to open up and widen and deep gash on the head of WhiteSlice. Norris went to work on that cut like a deep well driller, opening up a bloody canyon across Slice’s head which forced the ref to stop the fight via cut.

It was another great night of Cage Fighting Action in the heart of Sydney and one the fans will be sure to remember. Thanks to all that took part and performed courageously, see you at our next battle.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hello fans and friends of Konflikt "Down Under". We have a great weekend of action in store for you which kicks off this Friday with a gruesome night of fights at Hyashi's Lounge. That's right; we went back to a more intimate arena to share with our loyal fans an up-close look at some of the greatest fighters in all of Sydney. Friday the 13th - Fight Night will feature some scary and blood curdling cage fights for 2,000 of our great supporters...if you missed out on tickets....better luck next time.

Here to bring you his prefight thoughts and predictions is Shista McNasty:

Bocephus Addams v Bart Guthrie

Bocephus is coming in on a 2 fight skid. He may be the bigger, meaner looking individual, but 2 of his 3 recent losses have come by people tapping him on the chinny chin chin and putting him to sleep. Gutherie comes in with power in his hands and a smile on his face. If Addams is smart he will use his size and superior boxing and BJJ skills to his advantage and either finish it in the clinch or on the ground. Gutherie needs to pray he has the gas too keep this fight moving at a fast pace and pick apart the lumbering hairy love machine Adams with some great stick and move tactics.

Addams via UD

Roman Christos v Jimmy Sisfa

Can we say rape? Christos is the thicker man, and the more skilled man in boxing, wrestling, and Jiu Jitsu. He is the more physical fighter, and in far better shape than the smaller Sisfa. In other words, I hope Sisfa has his Insurance up to date cause he is gonna get hurt bad. Futhermore it has been said through various sources that Sisfa recently found out his wife is having a torrid affair with his Sister, so his Morale is lower than the Economy of Greece.

Christos via KO

Buck Nutt v Jorge threesixfive

In a rematch between the Jack of all trades vs. a True Hybrid Fighter, Nutt brings the meaning of average at everything good at nothing to a high note. Nutt’s Muay Thai being the only edge he has in this fight is a big reason he walks around with a 7-8 record. Threesixfive on the other hand, while not a complete fighter, he does excel in Boxing and Grappling. To me the question is if Threesixfive will be able to take down an equally average wrestler or will he be content to stand and bang with him. Though he has no KO power his swift combos should be enough to set up a takedown and secure the Submission.

Threesixfive via Sub (Key Lock)

Theodore Malenko v Mondial Dos

Two fighters that are near mirror images of each other square off in this next battle. Malenko will look to use his superior Muay Thai and near equal Boxing prowess against an equally good striker and superior ground specialist in Dos. Expect Dos to come out counterstriking and waiting for a foot to plant before scooping Malenko up and looking to punish him on the mat. I doubt this one sees a finish but solid ground control and stand up should bring Dos the nod from the Judges.

Dos Via UD

Gary Hudson v Heywood Jablowme

With both fighters looking to get a win to save their contracts Hudson drew the lucky card of Jablowme. Hudson is the better fighter in all aspects and is giving up only 3.5 pounds to his opponent Jablowme. Expect Jablowme to come out swinging looking to catch Hudson on his way to a swift counter combo knockout.

Hudson via TKO

Newman Ferguson v Ian Noonan

What happens when a Tornado meets a hurricane? You will see when Ferguson fights Noonan. Both of these guys are excellent fighters with Noonan the more skilled and Ferguson the far larger more athletic fighter. Will size beat skill? Will skill trump strength? Get to the arena to see

Noonan via TKO

Bosse Grepp v Phil Davis

In a match you would see on ESPN at 3 AM, Grepp, the former ADCC European Star will go heads up with former Div. I All- American Davis. Neither fighter brings any sort of stand up ability so this fight will be decided on the mat. Can the submissions of Grepp keep Davis from notching another brutal GnP TKO finish or will Grepp be another goldfish to Davis's shark in the ocean that is the Ground Game.

Davis via Sub (strikes)

Jase Newson v Hickson Gwacie

What do you get when you put a Grappling God in a body with a glass chin? You get Hickson vs. Gwacie who is looking to return to his early career success after going 1-3 in his last 4 fights and being knocked out in every one of his losses. He is not being handed an easy match in Newson who is an accomplished striker and loves to prey on grapplers with weak jaws. Can Gwacie get this to the mat? If Newson does get taken down can he survive the onslaught? Join us at Hyashi’s to find out.

Newson via KO

Fedor Silva v Eric Lawler

Silva was last seen stuffing his face at a local Burger King knowing he needed a reason not to fight Lawler. It is being rumored Silva will be "Unable" to make weight for this fight, and that is probably best for him seeing Lawler is a young stallion looking to add another loss to the old veteran Silva…..Update….In this week's episode of the biggest loser, Fedor Silva has been on the juice fast diet has been riding a wave of exploding diarrhea to shed the remaining pounds of water weight needed in order to come in at the max weight allowed. It will come down to this afternoons training session to see if he can indeed cut the remaining ounces needed to make the fight. People have reported seeing Silva running the streets of downtown Sydney in full space suit with frequent bathroom breaks to lose the last of his pounds. If he does make the cut he will be at a major energy disadvantage and one that may cost him the fight.

NC via Silva fails to make weight…or Lawler by TKO

Jacob Obworth v Mana Oregan

Obworth will look to stay undefeated by trying to stay on the outside, out box, out wrestle, and out class the Muay Thai ace, Oregan. Look for Oregan to use his eastern skills to clinch and leg kick Obworth to death. If Oregan can slow down his foe enough to prevent the takedown, he should be able to win this fight. But if this fight makes its way to the ground than Oregan will be at the mercy of Obworths ground skills and lookin at a looooong night

Obworth via Sub (Knee Bar)

KDU 48 - Make Your Mark

The Sydney night sky will be set ablaze as Konflikt "Down Under" once again invades the Bondi Outdoor Arena. KDU 48 - Make Your Mark will be another action packed card featuring Charles Manson putting his Featherweight Title up against Sheamus Noonan and Piston Honda once again set to defend his Welterweight Title against Daniel Harper.

Here are some Pre-Fight predictions from none other than the nastiest prognosticator in all of Sydney...Shista McNasty

Brooklin Rider v Mark Markus

In our first contest two well rounded ground technicians go head to head. Neither fighter brings any huge advantage on their side by way of submission skills or thunderous KO power, so look for the better athlete to take this one. The younger Brooklyn Rider should ride out with the Decision.

Rider via SD

Mohammad El Sayed v Baekjae Kim

Traditional Striker vs. Grappler at its finest. El Sayed will look to knock Kim into tomorrow and Kim will look to have El Sayed cry for mercy. Like all grappler vs. Striker matches the edge always goes with the Grappler.

Kim Via Sub (RNC)

Lemmy Ramirez v Lucas Black

Expect fireworks here as Ramirez will look to hide his suspect chin from the vicious hands of Black. If Ramirez can keep his feet he may be able to confuse Black with fast kicks and punches. Black will wanna keep this standing as he wants no part of Ramirez's ground game. Expect this to be a close match up with Ramirez being the more dynamic striker.

Ramirez via UD

Hezekiah LeMasters v Mondo Topless

No one brings the funk and the noise like featherweights, and these two will prove it in this fight. LeMasters is going to look to use his hands to set up his powerful takedowns and drag Topless into the late rounds. Topless is gonna wanna use his vicious kick arsenal and drive LeMasters into creating opening for the clinch and some vicious knees. In MMA usually the fighter with the most tools wins but with Topless on a 5 fight winning streak he will be hard to discourage and even harder to beat.

Topless via TKO

Bernard Blackstone v Mike Barraclough

Blackstone is in for a long night when he fights the ultra talented Barraclough. Anything Blackstone can do, Barraclough can do it better. Though Blackstone may keep it competitive, look for him to succumb to the superior fighter within the 3rd round.

Barraclough via TKO

Kah Fing v Jake Jordan

You know you’re in for a good fight when you have two grizzled veterans looking to maul one another, and that is exactly what you are getting here! Fing or as he is known by his foes "Captain Iron Shins" is a kicker... He will maul your legs and liver worse than a week long whiskey bender. Fing is coming off a disappointing loss to the Champion, Piston Honda, and will be looking to regain his honor at Jordan's expense. Jordan is an offensive machine, but he has been shown to have a weak constitution for punishment and when fighting someone like Fing you need to be willing to fight a war of attrition which isn’t Jordan’s strong suit. Look for Fing to kick Jordan into oblivion in route to a dominant 3 round decision.

Fing via UD

Trainer Wrestle v Kane Otunga

Two weeks after his impressive KDU debut win over Mahut Uno, Otunga returns to the ring to fight Gatekeeper Wrestle. Wrestle the 2008 Olympic Bronze medal winner brings his suffocating wrestling prowess to the ring to put this young upstart down. Otunga, a highly decorated Australian Wrestler doesn't bring the same credentials as Trainer, but what he lacks in skill, he makes up for in true grit. The lingering question is with only 2 weeks’ worth of recovery will Otunga be ready for the threat that Wrestle brings? The other question is; which wrestler will catch the Takedown first? As is the fashion in MMA, many wrestlers stop working the Takedown defense and focus entirely on offense, so this could be a question of who strikes first.

Otunga via SD

SB Supporter v Facebook MySpace

Next we have a double debut fight. SB Supporter is a Tae Kwon Do and Muay Thai champion and brings kicking to a new level, in his 4 professional fights only one man has made it beyond the 1st minute. That said, Supporter has yet to fight any real competition and as of right now he hasn't thrown a single punch in any of his 4 fights. MySpace is the opposite, a strong rookie featuring a solid amateur boxing background and a slow growing arsenal of other styles. MySpace has been KO’d very quickly in the past which makes many wonder if he can handle the fast paced barrage that Supporter is obviously going to bring. Bottom line, in the short term, a high impact, kick centered fight plan will win you fights, but over time it will be MySpace becoming the true challenger, leaving Supporter behind in his one style ways.

Supporter via KO

Sheamus Noonan v Charles Manson

Manson will defend his featherweight strap against the hardnosed Irishman Noonan. Manson is seen as a Sniper; using his natural timing and pin point accuracy to land the Right High Kick he dubbed "The Equalizer" at will. As neither of these two men have yet to be knocked out, expect them both to come out with an air of invincibility, and ready to through hands. While Noonan is bringing a lot of buzz with his hands; his lone loss tells us his weakness in the clinch. Expect the Muay Thai ace, Manson, to hone in on that weakness and wear down Noonan with knees and gut shots until he saps the wind from the Mick and sends him back to the Emerald Isle with nothing on his waist but bruises.

Daniel Harper v Piston Honda

Honda adopted son of the World Famous Japanese Body Building and Boxing sensation has found a home for his father's world famous massive biceps and 1, 2 punch. The 2 time Welterweight Champion has time and time again gone up against the best that KDU had to offer and sent them home in defeat. Honda’s impressive run may be coming to an end with the signing of Harper. Harper is a famous slugger, and is not shy about getting into brawls where he usually comes out on top. Honda will need to control the tempo of the fight, using his youth and athleticism to his advantage. Harper needs to be able to pin Honda in one place either on the ground, in the clinch, or against the cage and not let him get away. Either way I just can't see the Champion getting an easy win. Expect a war; expect blood, spit, sweat and tears.

Friday the 13th - Fight Night

The freaks were out for a special Konflikt "Down Under" show Friday the 13th - Fight Night. Hyashi's Lounge was packed as KDU's fans were treated to an intimate night with their favorite Sydney fighters. Here with the take on the action is Shista Mcnasty:

Bocephus Addams v Bart Guthrie

In a match where a game plan totally backfired. The larger, scarier Addams looked to use his mammoth size as an advantage in this fight. But Guthrie was ready for him, having recently trained with former Muay Thai Champion Tong Po, and Boxing Clinch Master John Ruiz, Guthrie was ready to take the fight up close and personal. As a matter of fact, Guthrie instigated every clinch and exploited Addams against the cage. To his credit, Addams put up the good fight, but he just wasn’t prepared to face the heat that Guthrie brought. Over and over Addams was forced to eat punches, knees, elbows, toes, and doo doo holes. As Guthrie cruised easily to a very lopsided decision

Roman Christos v Jimmy Sisfa

As earlier predicted the Sydney Special Victims Unit had to be summoned to file a rape report on Roman Christos after the swift, but brutal mauling of Jimmy Sisfa. Christos, knowing he was the odds on favorite to win this match came in with a solid workman's mentality not looking to burn a lot of energy or pull a muscle viciously tea bagging Sisfa. After being taken down swiftly and eating several punches, Sisfa was treated like a prison punk and was left no choice but to give up his manhood to the monster on top of him. Many fans were eager to see the vicious pounding or at least Christos attempting to pull off the “Arabian Goggles” (Google it ;)). The fans cheered loudly for the wet smack of fist meeting flesh and the pitter patter of a hand tapping out.

Buck Nutt v Jorge threesixfive

In what seems like the upset of the night, Nutt gained sweet revenge when he made very short work of Threesixfive. Knowing time wasn't on his side, Nutt came out full throttle throwing kicks and punches in bunches. Threesixfive seemed content to counter and wait for his opening to get this fight to the ground. Unfortunately, he had his takedown stuffed and ate a high kick for his troubles. Threesixfive paused for a moment to regain his senses, Nutt took that split second opening and landed a 2 piece and a biscuit on Jorge’s chin, which sent him to sleepy town, population one. A great KO Victory and one that earned Nutt an extra $1000 for KO of the Night

Theodore Malenko v Mondial Dos

In a fight that was nearly too close to call, Malenko showed his testicular fortitude by going the distance with Dos. Content to pick him apart and not get greedy for the KO, Malenko stuffed nearly all of Dos' takedowns and absolutely nullified him when the fight did get to the mat. Malenko was able to work his magic and secured the judge’s decision.

Gary Hudson v Heywood Jablowme

Very rarely in this job are fighters given what looks to be an easy win, this is one of those rare moments. Hudson out classed Jablowme on paper, at the weigh-ins, in the stare down, and even in the walk to the cage. Jablowme knew he was on borrowed time and showed it in this fight by failing to land or bloke one strike during the entire fight. With his windmill flails and hop scotch-esque attempts to block, Jablowme looked like he was a mentally challenge chimp trying to hump a door. Luckily, the fans only had to watch this fiasco for 50 seconds before Jablowme fell to the ground crying for his mama.

Newman Ferguson v Ian Noonan

When asked what happens when a Tornado meets a hurricane? You saw the Tornado sweep through the Hurricane as if it were a mere Tropical Depression with a vicious 2nd round KO. Ferguson knew he would have to get in close and use his size advantage, so the entire fight he played defense waiting for the Spider Monkey on Meth that was Noonan to settle down and plant his feet. Noonan refused to comply stuffing or dodging nearly all of Ferguson's bull rush takedown attempts and lighting him up with punches. Ferguson did well blocking the predictable punches, but in the 2nd round Noonan found his range and landed some impressive strikes to Ferguson’s skull. After hurting him early, Noonan tucked Ferguson in for the night with a barrage of well aimed rights.

Bosse Grepp v Phil Davis

Wrestling or Submission Grappling which is superior? Well tonight it was Wrestling as Davis notched yet another dominating win on his belt. It was common knowledge that this fight was gonna be a ground war, but which style would dominate? Grepp allowed Davis to take him down in the fight so he could attempt to work his BJJ from the bottom position. Davis though did what he does best by throwing elbows and punches from the top and powering through every submission attempt. In the end Davis was able to use superior GnP to coast with the judge’s decision.

Jase Newson v Hickson Gwacie

Gwacie returned to his winning ways and hopefully put the past bad luck behind him with a vintage BJJ win. Newson was seemingly frustrated as he was unable to stop the takedowns of the Brazilian Black Belt. On the ground Newson showed his defensive abilities by stalling long enough to achieve the ref's stand up, which allowed him to punish Gwacie with strikes on their feet. In the final round, Newson again was defending well on the ground by pulling off a sweep and sitting in guard awaiting the ref’s standup. A brief lapse in judgement was all it took though as Gwacie used the opportunity to sink in a deep guillotine and force Newson to tap or go to sleep. This great guillotine earned Gwacie the sub of the night award and these two warriors also won the Fight of The Night Award

Fedor Silva v Eric Lawler

Few expected Silva to make weight for this match, but to his credit he proved to be a true professional and despite having to be carried to the scales he did indeed make the cut. After the weigh in, Paramedics rushed to install a saline drip in order attempt to rehydrate him. How the doctor allowed this fight to go on is more of a testament to Silva's utter manliness rather than smarts. But heroics at the scales often lead to bad things happening in the ring, and here was no exception. Still gaunt and pale from the previous night's weigh ins Silva was lethargic and slow to react the entire fight. After 1 minute he was breathing heavily through his mouth looking to time a head kick and steal this match away from Lawler. But Lawler stalked him like a jungle cat jumping at just the right moment and finishing the kill. Hopefully Silva can use this as a moral victory seeing he lasted in the fight over three minutes while on death's door the entire time.

Jacob Obworth v Mana Oregan

Oregan knew he would have to remain very strict in his gameplan to win this fight. He would have to slow Obworth down and dictate the pace of the fight and he did just that by landing a multitude of leg and body kicks. After being dominated in the first round which left him limping, cut, and breathing shallowly through potentially broken ribs, Obworth was forced to shoot from the outside and throw slow telegraphed shots that were easily blocked. Oregan was able to counter the weak strikes and dished out tremendous leg kicks further damaging Obworth's lead leg and easily clinching the UD.

  • 2 weeks later...

What a great weekend for fighting. Konflikt “Down Under” hosted our 49th and 50th event this weekend in downtown Sydney and it could not have gone any better. I want to thank every manager for helping make our org what it has become today. I know I have many managers that have been with me since I took over in the last week of December, and they remember the rough times I had getting started. I am happy you guys are still around to see what we have achieved.

Thanks to all of your outstanding fighters, KDU accomplished 2 HUGE Milestones this weekend. First, we held our very first show in the Bridge Arena…AND WE PACKED THAT MUTHA TO CAPACITY. Second, with our great weekend of events and our outstanding ratings we were able to move to the #6 ORG OVERALL in the WORLD. I have said it before and I will say it again, THANKS for all of your help and support along the way in making this one of the top orgs in the game. I can only hope that you guys are as proud fighting for KDU as I am running it.

I vow to take the appropriate measures to ensure we remain a top org in the world and keep your fighters battling in front of as many fans as possible which will help build their Hype and Pop to great levels. Thanks again for your help in our quest to be the best; I especially want to thank Louie DePalma and Shista McNasty for loaning us their fighter from AXF to compete in the Bridge Main Event Battle……

Take it away Shista; let’s hear how you saw the events:

KDU 49 – Double Dragon

Bailey Harris vs. swg le fay

In a decisive beat down Harris showed his class in an early 2nd round KO. Le fay showed his grit as he gained some take downs early in the first round keeping the fight competitive with a hard submission attack. Harris though controlled through the 1st round, and finished strongly in the 2nd. Tough loss for Le Fay

Ray Wickleby vs. Marshall Arts

Wickleby showed up in fine form as he took down the former Muay Thai ace sucking his energy away with vicious ground and pound, and top control. When it finally was stood up poor Arts could barely keep his hands up eating flurry after flurry from Wickleby who spend much of the remaining round working over Arts’ body. Into the second round you could see visible bruising to the ribcage, and Art’s left eye closing up. Knowing he had the right hand Wickleby landed it with an echoing shot putting Arts down and keeping him down.

Russell Jackman vs. Danny Drake

In a come from behind win, Jackman absorbed a brutal mauling by Drake through most of 2 rounds, until Drake chose to take Jackman down and jackman threw a hailmary triangle sinking it in at the closing minute of round 2 forcing a tap and a lost opportunity for Drake in a match had easily won.

Luke Fluke vs. Lidel Castro

In a striker’s dual Fluke picked his shots over 3 rounds to win a decisive UD over highly touted boxer Castro. Castro couldn’t seem to find an answer to the unsympathetic clinch game Fluke brought, and endless barrage of kicks that sapped his will, and movement making him easier to punch.

Pablo Soriano vs. Paul Garcia

In his last match to clinch his rematch with champion JP Greywar, Soriano used his efficient skills to secure a dominating UD over Garcia. With smothering top control and skilled punches to set up his takedowns, Soriano took very little damage, and easily showed his workhorse mentality in the win.

Michael Adams vs. Joe Langston

In what looked like a real life game of Rock’em Sock’em Robots, Adams and Langston went chin to chin with each other, neither one showing fear. Langston landed more shots over the 3 rounds, but it was the 3-punch combo that opened a cut on Langston’s eyebrow that secured the razor thin decision for Adams.

Shane Carwin vs Brunson Doyle

Carwin shocked the world with a beautiful display of striking defense and accuracy. Both Doyle and Carwin are world famous for their one punch stopping power, but it was Carwin’s finesse when faced with a man just as strong as him that showed he was ready to step up to the next level. Doyle threw punch after punch at Carwin’s Neanderthal head only to hit air more often than not. Carwin rather than load up to put Doyle down used his long jab to frustrate Doyle, and force a clinch during every bull rush Doyle came with.

Mickey Rodriguez vs. Prince Buckleberry

In perhaps the most dominating, brutalizing, censor-sickening matches of the night Rodriguez showed Buckleberry who his daddy was over the 15 minute fight. Buckleberry obviously didn’t have the skills to deal with the massive power Rodriguez brought in the clinch and ate uppercuts and body shots for his troubles. Buckleberry was unable to comment post fight as he was rushed to the emergency room for major face trauma. Luckily he is fully paid up on his insurance to cover the massive dental and plastic reconstructive surgery he will need to hide the fact that took almost 200 shots, not to mention rib damage that gained almost 100 shots as well.

Elizondo Tacos vs. Forrest Griffin

Ever since he won his title, people have wanted a piece of Tacos. Challengers, promoters, sponsors, women, men, little girls, and pedophiles alike all want them some Tacos. Tonight was a good example of why Tacos is the biggest thing in the KDU 205 division. In a match that saw Griffin work his striking beautifully and do what many thought was impossible stuff many of Tacos’ Takedowns; he seemed to be up on points. Until Tacos showed why he is the champion after a swift takedown he secured mount and when Griffin awaited the ground and pound he knew was coming he was shocked with a beautiful armbar forcing his tap.

Evan Smtih vs. Tadamasa Yamada

In a fight for the middleweight title Smith showed the division he can stand up to the best and beat them brutally. Yamada stayed game throughout the fight and indeed many of his fans argue he won, but it was Smith who walked away 3 rounds to 2 and the judge’s nod off of his high striking activity and ground work securing the key final round and the UD

KDU 50 – The Bridge

Duncan Rogers vs. Sid Sydney

As what usually happens when a BJJ ace with no wrestling goes up against a true MMA fighter, the BJJ ace was smashed. Roger stuffed take down attempt after takedown attempt of Sydney’s. Timing a brutal shot that put Sydney down and the flurry that put him to sleep after being knocked down.

Trainer Box vs. Rudy Martinez

What Martinez’s strategy coming into this fight was no one knows. A man with decent hands never tries to out box a former National Champion and Olympic Alternate like Box. Hell the man’s name told you what to expect here yet Martinez still came out game to strike and was put down in the first round for his troubles.

Derya Sevket vs. Wii Playstation

Sevket showed the skills that won him the Turkish Greco-Roman Title several years ago with his takedown attack and brutal ground control over Playstation. Playstation came out wanting to put Sevket to sleep early landing a hard high kick that opened Sevket up, but after that it was all “The Cyclone” wearing Playstation down until he snatched the armbar from the helpless, brutalized kick boxer.

Mike Willson vs. Frankie McGee IV

Knowing he can’t stand with the superior boxer long, Willson spent the majority of this fight looking for the single leg that just could not be secured. McGee peppered Willson over the course of the 1st and second round till in the midst of a smiling showboating pose Willson secured the takedown and swarmed the fallen boxer, snatching a choke that forced the tap.

Lachlan Anderson vs. Jon Roberts

Anderson proved for all to see that the better fighter on paper doesn’t always win. Outclassed in nearly every field, Anderson was expected to lose this night. But as the old poet once said “Thou shall not go quietly into that good night” as Anderson’s gas tank and untiring aggression took the final 2 rounds after being brutalized by kicks in the 1st round. A great show of heart by Anderson, and an obvious chink in the impressive armor of Roberts.

Dominic Harris vs. Bill Lapointe

Lapointe was riding high into the KDU after submitting former MMA Legend YB Sol for the first time in his career. Unfortunately for Lapointe a win over a Lion well past his prime doesn’t mean jack in the KDU. Harris came in and squashed the Ground Specialist, just past the minute mark making him unable to fulfill his promise to the fans in “Putting that pretender down in less than a minute”. Of course it is too early to write Lapointe off yet, but he will defiantly need time to recover from this soul crushing loss.

Mickey Noonan vs Me Myself Irene

Noonan not wanting to break the streak his brothers Sheamus, Ryan, and Ian have made in the KDU ran through Irene showing all of Sydney the Noonan Clan are to be feared. Striking with viper speed Noonan opened a cut with a vicious clinch uppercut before taking Irene down and smashing elbow after elbow into the gash turning it into a blood seeping canyon forcing the doctor to call the match early in the 1st round.

Jolly Giant vs. Gordon Hood

Here Giant proved the age old adage many men’s wives try unsuccessfully to dispel. Size matters, Hood the superior athlete seemed to fare well against Giant in the first, getting the takedowns and holding him down. But the 1st round was all but a miracle as in the 2nd and 3rd the 50 pound difference came to a head as each takedown lost its power and was stuffed, and answered with the giant ham sized fist of Giant to Hood’s face. Really the shame is on Giant for not putting a helpless Hood away in the 3rd round when he was gassed and hardly able to do much but defend helplessly.

Carter Potter vs. Oppolla Doc

In what was expected to be a competitive match Potter thoroughly defeated Doc, finishing him in the 2nd to take his title as his own. Doc, was looking to add a 3rd defense of his coveted title before being put down. Never one to shy away from a fight Potter took Doc out of the fight early cutting him and beating him up over the 1st round. Doc seemed frustrated, and sluggish the entire fight came out looking to return some of the damage but Potter would not be beaten this night finding a home for his left hand onto Doc’s chin and following it up with an uppercut that nearly decapitated Doc.

Chopper Reid vs. JP Greywar

In our main even we had Greywar the king of Sydney’s Bantamweight division looking to show the world why he was top dog in Sydney. His opponent is a man that few don’t know, world famous criminal, author, rapper, and Media Icon Chopper Reid. The Earless wonder took his legendary street and prison fighting prowess into the ring nearly a year and a half ago and hasn’t looked back since. Racking up a record of 10-3 and coming off a 5 fight win streak. His confidence was at a cosmic high it would seem and after asking for months his handlers at AXF agreed to let him come down to the KDU and show Greywar who his daddy is. Of course Greywar was far from an easy push over. This multiple time Death Valley Triathlon Champion has taken his god given natural athleticism to new heights by hooking up with his 2nd cousin Mike Greywar, and the group of killers he manages. The build up to this fight had been extremely one sided as Chopper in his usual brash fashion was been all over the media outlets giving interviews to even High School News Paper columnists. Greywar how ever has not made a comment yet, allowing his management only one chance to comment before shutting down in the reclusive Arizona Desert Compound for training. But it would seem that Chopper wasn’t as full of crap as his interviews lead people to believe. Greywar came in his usually unpredictable self initiating multiple clinches and looking to work Chopper over the dirty way with knees, elbows, and short punches. Chopper stayed game through the clinch getting position after position against Greywar who was busy throwing damaging shots that were absorbed. But in the 2nd and 3rd round the clinch was harder and harder to hold as Greywar was pushed back by the relentless combos Chopper threw constantly putting him on the defensive and backing up. Greywar’s defense was up to snuff blocking 49 of the 52 combos thrown, but his constant backing up and lack of offense in the 2nd and 3rd round handed Chopper the fight, with 2 of the judges scoring it for the Melbourne Mad Man giving him the Majority Decision and the mantle of King of the Bantamweights in Sydney. As Chopper returns to AXF to defend his title there he issued his challenge to JP Greywar, Yakko Warner and all the other Bantamweights in Mike Greywar’s stable to come to AXF if they want to beat the New King of Sydney.

Hello Family and Friends of Konflikt "Down Under"

I write you today with a sense of sadness, I have decided to shut down Konflikt "Down Under". Due to recent changes in my life, I have not had the time to devote to the org that I feel is owed to you all. Sure, I can still book shows and get great events going, but the hands on approach which helped build our org to what it is today is not an option anymore.

I know many of you that have been with me for a while have noticed a decline in my org activity and a few have contacted me to "check in" and make sure things were cool, I thank you for that. Just because the org will be no more does not mean I am leaving the game. I still have a good stable of 15 fighters and will be looking to capture the belts in major orgs around the globe :)

So what does this mean for your fighter(s) in Konflikt??? Well, we have two shows booked right now and I will be booking 1 final show, KDU 65. That show will be at The Sydney Superdome....thats right, 18,500 screaming MMA fans. I will attempt to book the largest attended show in Sydney's history. Any fighters left after I book the last show will be released from their contracts and free to sign with anyone else...May I suggest AXF and/or Fallout..Both are great orgs and deserve the great talent that will be leaving KDU. If you have any fighters not in KDU and would like to volunteer them for our last event to try and make history, I would be greatly appreciated of it.

I want to thank all of you for helping build Konflikt "Down Under" into the great org it has become. It was almost exactly one year ago that I took over this org that was ranked #98 globally and with the help of you all, we were able to reach #6 in the world recently as well as sit atop the Sydney scene. Many of you have been with me since this was FWC and remember the bad tmes as well as the good. I am proud to have you guys a part of the org and will look forward to working with you in other ways in the future.

Who knows, maybe in time things will change and I can return to running an org. If I do, Sydney better watch out :)

Thanks again
