FrankyFin Posted May 1, 2009 Report Share Posted May 1, 2009 or Trophies, Accomplishments ... whatever you want to call it ... for the fighters. for example: Kane Kauabunga: Badges: -former "insert promotion name" 205 lbs. champion -former pound for pound nr. 3 -former highest paid fighter in the world etc. that would obviously show in the fighters profile. some badges or just statistics would give each fighter more personalitly and you would know what each fighter has accomplished in his career. no idea how hard it would be to implement this but it would but pretty great. And metagaming rears its ugly head... hahahaa. Just call them achievements and start counting XBL points. Seriously though, the whole "former champ" idea is a good idea IMO. The main thing holding it back is knowing that I have to make the actual trophies and deciding what they should look like. We could go with semi-cartoony sheild type things or I could go all out and make some shit hot 3D trophies and shields. Haven't decided on the size either. EvilScott Posted May 2, 2009 Report Share Posted May 2, 2009 Former champions Belts in 2 or more diff weight classes Belts in 2 or more diff orgs Current Top 10 Ranked (Weight Class and P4P) Current/Former #1 Ranked (Weight Class and P4P) Elite skill level in anything Submit 10 (or some other #) fighters (T)KO 10 (or some other #) fighters Win by Cut 10 (or some other #) times Stop 20 (or some other #) fighters Submit a blackbelt Take down an elite wrestler Kick/Knee (T)KO and elite muay thai fighter (T)KO with punches an elite boxer Just the kind of stuff that Mike Goldberg would rattle off before a fight. "is the Michael Jordan of Jiu-Jitsu" - submit Patrick Cote and the homepage where it says "News from the top 20 fight organizations" should be changed to "HUGE ANNOUNCEMENTS THAT WILL CHANGE MMATYCOON FOREVER!!!"
