yeah exactly and the fight being at Heavyweight there's always a chance for him to beat Curtis and jump straight into the top 5 rankings. I think Kayla will be champ by the end of the year if Pena fights her and Shavkat also has a good chance against Belal. -

To kick start the Super Heavyweight Division at Royal MMA we are looking to run an 8+ fighter tournament depending on interest. We will only be accepting 409k 18-year-olds which can be created at any time from 12th January. The first round will be scheduled for the 1st March which will give roughly 6-7 weeks to test/train and then a further 3 weeks in between rounds. If we only have 8 sign ups the tournament will be a league format with each fighter fighting each other once with 3 points for a win and 1 for a draw, the top 4 will go into a knockout stage to find the champion. The bottom 4 will also go into a knockout round with the winner of the bottom 4 getting to challenge the eventual winner for his first title defence. We plan to keep the division going within our 409k ID org so would love to keep fighters around beyond the tournament. If this gets a lot of interest depending on the numbers, we will split into two groups that run simultaneously. This tournament idea is taking inspiration from another being ran which focuses on striker builds from the start so we will follow suit. So, starting builds must be White belts and Useless Wrestling (1 primary skill). This is only at creation, feel free to train any skill throughout. Tournament Plan - 8 Fighters will be league table with eventual knockout round with multiple groups if a lot of interest - Fighters to be created at any point starting on 12th January which will allow just over 6 weeks to test, train and prepare for the first fights. - First fight will be on 1st March 2025 - Super Heavyweight showdown – Fighters must be 265lb minimum - 3 weeks between events to allow for injuries/training - Fights will be 3x5 except for the final which will be a 5x5 Title fight - Prize will be $150k to the winner and $50k to the runner up (Will look to increase prize and hopefully setup some potential award to win throughout) Sign ups 1 – Tosh Lodi (144364) - 2 – Sub Zero (65316) - 3 – Viktor Volkov (146095) - 4 – 5 – 6 – 7 – 8 – From speaking with experienced members, I have been told the Super heavyweight is not a popular weight class, if you are interested in a creation tournament with this setup but not the weight class let me know as if we don’t get the interest we will potentially look to run at another weight. -

I don’t know much about Rizvan Kuniev besides him having a couple fights on the contenders series. But had to give him a go as he gets a top 5 opponent in Blaydes right off the bat. Huge upside if he can hug his way to a decision win. -
The likelihood of another cut seems apparent with Edward Krause still not accepting his fight offer. Manager hasn’t logged since Dec 20 at last check. We’re all out of alternates, so to even the field yet again, I will likely drop my own alternate to ensure an even number of match ups. If this occurs, Jermaine Pearson would get a bye win for the upcoming card and we’ll move forward again. Update to come.
