Jacky was the only true 'heel' this game has ever had - didn't care about the bad press not matter what he did and hit you with 'u jelly bro' or some other form of frog English. Stu never went all the way in with it - you still rooted for him against certain people where as everyone wanted Jacky to lose. You had Castor who wasn't good enough at the game to be considered a 'heel' over just a troll. A lot of it is just nostalgia - looking back to when we had fun with the game and the people that made the game fun.  The forums even when CK was around were just shit compared to the older days. It was him every now and again giving himself an atta boy, copy and pasting into the tycoon times for that hype boost etc. I think even he got bored of it because no one was going to be his dance partner. We had a few newer guys in our alliance who we thought would breathe new life into the game and did for a while but all got disillusioned at the game in one way or another and dipped to another game.   

Yes the game needs that like Dana need his rivalries and smacktalk. CK did a lot of trolling too of course, but generally the good kind that generates more player engagement. Didn't mean to turn this into a thread on CK, just wanted to clarify based on how Mike took our previous comments. We all agree he went too far there, but a lot of us also thinks it would be good for the community to let him back in. I mean, part of my motivation last time I came back from a break was clawing my way back up to #1 and beat his ass again. You all lazy bastards had been letting him sit on my throne for way too long 😉 But it's not the same when he is not here to make excuses and blame the ref like when I destroyed his beloved Maluga back in the good old days.

I've said it so many times - the forums NEED people like CK to bring interest. He wrote a ton of great content. It's like the nightly news. Good news doesn't sell, so most of what we see is the horrible side of life. Forums are boring without people riling other manager up with trash talk and such. I'd love to see someone emerge as MMAT's new heel. A new version of Jacky, Stu, etc.
