I am once again doing an interview with Tom Quin. The 19 year old prospect from Holland who’s currently competing in the consolation bracket of the tournament to crown BEEF’s 145 champion. Tom, it’s been a while since we’ve last talked, could you give us a short summary of the events that have occurred since our last interview? Tom: First things first, I lost in the second round of the tournament. Q: What happened? Tom: My opponent simply outworked me and he won fair and square. After the loss I had some doubts and I went back to the gym and reinvented myself. Q: What do you mean you’ve reinvented yourself? Tom: From the get go I’ve been a boxer and after losing to a fellow boxer it was hard to realize what had happened. Not only did I lose to a fellow boxer but I didn’t get caught, I didn’t get cut, I didn’t lose a close fight. I simply got beaten and that night he broke me. But I did what any warrior should do after a loss: just move forward and don’t look back. That’s what I did and it showed in my next fight, not only did I beat Brodin, I demolished him and beat him into retirement. After that fight something really great happened. Q: What? Please do tell. Tom: It wasn’t exactly a surprise because I’ve put a target on my back by being so vocal and getting all this media attention but it was really great that someone from the tournament finally had the balls to call me out. It’s always great for the fans to see a fight where there’s beef between the fighters so I responded in kind, traded some words with Mike Marin and I’m now scheduled to fight him. Scooby Posted January 31, 2014 Author Report Share Posted January 31, 2014 I have an important poll I want to give everyone a chance to comment in,As an attempt to resolve an issue for at least some people in the game, there was a thread earlier this week in the forums speaking on the fact that most 25YO builds are erased due to lack of ability to reach the top level skill in the game. In an effort to book more fights to better meet our managers needs I am considering opening a “25YO build ONLY division” where ex island fighters and all fighters who came out of their mother's wombs at age 25 will get fair fights for a full career building hype against fellow 25YO builds permitting you to keep the fighter rather than sacking them due to age. This will also be a way to test sliders and fight a lot more frequently. If you are interested REPLY BACK ASAP, if I dont get much word on this, I will not follow through with it. Likewise if many people ARE interested in this, I will have a 25YO creation tournament for VIP considerations to kick this off. Likewise, I really would like to kick off 3x10minute fights in BEEF's Ironman rules fights. These, I am considering will be a specific event dedicated to these rules so everyone on the card would fight with these rules, if you are with or against this, LET ME KNOW!
