Welcome to the first GAMMA-The Kids of MMA event. The place where the next big things start their careers.

Without further ado, I bring you the preview of this ground-breaking event.

Shezzo “Habagat” Wicked vs. Lucas Bishop (265+)

This will be the very first fight in the orgs sure to be long history. Fighting out of Los Angeles, Wicked is 18 years old and has a record of 1-5, a not so great record considering his skills. He is an exceptional boxer as seen in his most recent fight where he boxed his way to a unanimous decision on the local circuit. Bishop will have a big size advantage in this fight as he outweighs his opponent Wicked by 40 pounds. This will be Bishop’s first MMA fight, but he has competed in grappling competitions (albeit unsuccessfully). He is a brown belt in BJJ and is an exceptional wrestler. I have to think the gameplan for both fighters is fairly obvious, Bishop will want the fight on the ground where he can sub his opponent and Wicked will want to keep the fight on the feet and KO his opponent. This is a classic striker vs grappler matchup and I think the grappler, Bishop, will take this one with a 1st round sub.

Prediction: Bishop via 1st round sub

White Goodman vs. Diego “The Gladiator” Bustamante (265+)

This is a very intriguing matchup as both guys are Muay Thai specialists fighting out of Amsterdam. Goodman will be making his debut here and is a muay thai specialist. Bustamante has a record of 2-1 is a clinch specialist with both of his wins he showed a fantastic clinch game. The weight difference will be barely noticeable as Bustamante weighs only 5lbs more than his opponent. It will be interesting to see if Goodman will oblige Bustamante in the clinch or if he will use kicks to keep his opponent at bay. It is possible Goodman takes the fight to the ground where he will have the advantage with his blue belt over Bustamante’s white belt.

Prediction: Bustamante via decision

Patrick “Hurricane” Hale vs. Brett “The Lil Pimp” Simmons (170)

Hale already has a respectable record of 3-1 with his wrestling and ground game leading him to 2 wins by submission and 1 decision, however his loss showed some lack of defensive wrestling which will be important in this fight. Simmons, lives and dies by his proverbial sword ad he has a 1-1 record, 1 by submission and his loss by submission. So this fight will likely be a grappler’s wet dream as it is a fight sure to take place on the ground.

Prediction: Simmons via 1st round sub

Dave “Brown Dog” Brown vs. “The Scarred” Strong Belwas (265+)

Back to the big boys in this matchup, in what could be a great stand up war. Brown has one fight so far in his young career and it was a loss where he was beaten in the clinch despite being a Muay Thai guy. This could mean he prefers to use his muay thai to keep out of the clinch and kick his opponents or that he was simply beaten by a better clinch fighter. Belwas will be making his debut in this fight, and from the looks of things he may be fairly one dimensional. His boxing is nothing to laugh at but the lack of a well rounded game may spell doom for him in this matchup. I see this fight going one of two ways, either Brown takes this into the clinch and batters Belwas, or the fight stays standing where it will be Muay Thai vs. boxing. If it is the latter this could be FOTN.

Prediction: Brown via 2nd round (T)KO

Avro “The British Bomber” Lancaster vs. Raoul “The Ghost” De Muerta (205)

This fight will be the 6th of Lancaster’s young career where he has built a record of 4-1 on the local circuits. He is a Muay Thai specialist who likes to score from distance and knock guys out as evidenced by his 3 career KO’s. He has a purple belt in BJJ but so far he has shown little evidence that he uses it. De Muerta, another Muay Thai specialist also prefers to stand up and knock guys out as shown by his 2-0 overall MMA record with both wins coming by way of 1st round KO, neither going past two minutes. This fight is a pick em as both guys show great potential. I have a feeling Lancaster may have a bit more in his gas tank and scores a late finish

Prediction: Lancaster 3rd round (T)KO

Jonny “Hi Ha Huh” Bravo vs. BJ Gomez (265+)

Ah, the classic wrestler vs submission match up. With both guys making their debuts here there isn’t much to go on other than Bravo has a brown belt in BJJ but other than that he may not have many tools up his sleeve. Gomez is a wrestler by trade, but with limited skills in other facets of the game. Bravo also holds a slight advantage in boxing but I still expect this to be a ground fight.

Prediction: Bravo via 1st round sub

Ernesto “Che” Guevara vs. Daario Naharis (205)

Guevara already has a 2-0 record with both wins coming by stoppage from his standup striking game. He also showed in his debut a good wrestling game which could be used in this one. Naharis is a boxer, plain and simple. He will be looking to land standing and get a stoppage or get a UD. Again this could go two ways, Guevara has the wrestling advantage but has shown a preference to stand which has resulted in his unbeaten record and Naharis looks like a one trick pony vut if the fight stays standing he could win.

Prediction: Naharis via decision

Raoul “Paranoia” Duke vs. Smokey “The Bizarre One” Reaper (170)

Duke has a 2-2 record with a well rounded skill set and a blue belt to boot, he doesn’t excel anywhere but he is comfortable anywhere. Reaper has some hype behind him due to is recent interview published in the Tycoon Times and where Duke can go anywhere, Reaper most likely wants to keep the fight standing and land a KO blow. Duke will probably want to avoid the stand up game of Reaper and get him to the floor, whether he can remains to be seen. Im taking the well rounded approach of Duke here

Prediction: Duke via decision

Daniel Tolmer vs. Tuke Hong (170)

On paper this looks like a bit of a mismatch, Tolmer is a good wrestler don’t get me wrong but where Tolmer is good Hong is better. Hong is a better wrestler, boxer, muay thai and bjj practitioner soi believe that wherever Hong wants to win this fight he can. Tolmer’s only hope is to take Hong down and pray not to get subbed as Hong’s purple belt is much better than Tolmer’s white belt. Hong can finish this in whatever round he chooses

Prediction: Hong by 1st round KO

That’s all from me folks, tune in on 3rd May in Las Vegas time to see the stars of tomorrow make their names, until next time,

Smokey Reaper is fighting tonight against Raoul Duke, we caught up to him before tonights fight, check out what he had to say

Reporter : You're making your debut tonight, any nerves?

Smokey Reaper : Man, I don't get nervous, I get high.

R: Good luck with your drugs testing then. Moving on how do you feel this fight will go for you?

SM: I see it going two ways, either he sees my package and wants to try to hump me to death or hold me on the fence, or he can prove hes a man and try to knock my block off. Its really no secret what I want to try to do to him, question is, can he show he has what it takes to be great or not.

R: So are you already admitting you can lose?

SM: Well, every fighter on any day can lose. If I lose I lose, look at the all time greats they each have losses on their records. This fight gives me a chance to see where im at in this stage of my soon to be great career. If he beats me know I will improve in the areas in which he beat me, ask for a rematch and then you can all see how great I am.

R: Thanks for the time, i'll let you get back to doing whatever you do.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/41/41b20.jpg

The reporter now moves over to Smokey's teammate and friend "Captain" Daario Naharis, who is also fighting tonight.

R: Another debutante from Michael Brakeley's roster, how do you feel before tonight?

Daario: Im fighting, Ernesto Guevera. You see I am at an advantage, he already has fought before so I studied him. He has shown wrestling and striking but he refers to strike, as do I. I know if he stands with me, his face will be unrecognisable to his mother so I expect him to try and ground me and lay upon me like a common whore.

R: that's all we have time for im afraid Daario, good luck.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/16/16b3.jpg

The reporter now moves over to the third man that flew over from the camp in St. Petersburg, Strong Belwas.

R: Another one of Michael Brakeley's brood, another one making his debut at GAMMA TKOMMA. How you feeling?

SB: Fine.

R: Ummm we need a little more please.

SB: Let a man eat before he goes into a cage to please the masses or I shall have to stuff this apricot down your mouth!!

the reporter is now running away from the large Strong Belwas and will likely be fired for his unacceptable performance in questioning

Until next time this news channel is outta here

Last nights event was a huge success for 9 fighters, while another 9 fighters were on the losing end, some came off worse than others. Join me, Michael Brakeley, for a recap of Last nights first event in GAMMA – The Kids of MMA’s history.

Shezzo “Habagat” Wicked vs. Lucas Bishop (265+)

I predicted a win for Bishop via submission. In the early goings of round 1 that’s how it looked as Bishop managed to secure the takedown at around 1:30 minutes into the round, he got into mount but didn’t attempt much ground striking but comfortably won the 1st round. Wicked then came out possessed in the second and third rounds and lit Bishop up with his superior striking showing 100% striking accuracy. He won the final two round for a unanimous decision but failed to put the durable Bishop away.

Result: Wicked wins via UD (29:28)

White Goodman vs. Diego “The Gladiator” Bustamante (265+)

This was a fantastic fight from start to finish, but it was Bustamante who came out victorious and put his name in the hat for a post fight bonus with devastating knees to finish the fight. The fight started with Goodman trying to kick at the legs of The Gladiator, then Bustamante got the fight where he shines, the clinch. He systematically broke Goodman down with knees to the body and to the head, dropping and rocking Goodman, but Goodman managed to survive. It slowed down a bit in the clinch towards the end of the round with stalling in the clinch and the referee separated and it started again with Goodman landing a couple of good shots. Bustamante won that round. Round two begins with Bustamante rushing for the clinch but Goodman managing to avoid it for a time, eventually Bustamante got the clinch and again trying with knees but Goodman was having none of it and broke the clinch. After a brief standup exchange Bustamante again again secured the clinch and a few big knees later he left Goodman lying on the floor after smshing his head to make the ref stop the fight.

Result: Bustamante via TKO(Knees) after 3:55 of round 2

Patrick “Hurricane” Hale vs. Brett “The Lil Pimp” Simmons (170)

This was an extremely one sided fight, with Simmons swinging the hammer. He secured takedown very early and proceeded to dole out punishment, he secured mount and and continued to punch and elbow forcing a stoppage. Hale with a poor showing as he literally tried nothing in that fight and The Lil Pimp showing a devastating ground game.

Result: Simmons via 1st rond TKO

Dave “Brown Dog” Brown vs. “The Scarred” Strong Belwas (265+)

The fight started with Belwas being the aggressor looking for body shots, but Brown showing a good counter game and countering with kicks. Eventually a head kick from hell landed by Brown knocked Belwas down but he amazingly managed to not be stone cold knocked out, Brown then positioned himself for a kimura on the still rocked Belwas and cranked until Belwas was forced to tap.

Result: Brown via 1st round Sub(Kimura)

Avro “The British Bomber” Lancaster vs. Raoul “The Ghost” De Muerta (205)

This was another good fight. The 1st round showed Lancaster outstriking De Muerta, until halfway through The Ghost scored a beautiful double leg into side control and tried to sink in a submission to no avail. It was a close round but with probably Lancaster getting the nod. The 2nd round started and finished standing and what a round it was as both fighters landing good shots but it was again probably Lancaster who won the round. The third round, up until the 3 minute mark it looked like Lancaster was going to win a decision but a combination from De Muerta dropped him, Lnacaster stood back up but his legs were not responding to him and De Muerta dropped him again but this time followed and pounded on him until the ref stepped in. A good showing for both men, De Muerta showed toughness to asorb as many strikes as he did and find a way to win, and Lancaster looked good until he got finished.

Prediction: De Muerta via 3rd round TKO(strikes)

Jonny “Hi Ha Huh” Bravo vs. BJ Gomez (265+)

The quickest fight of the night, Gomez secured a takedown, tries a flying punch but gets caught by Bravo with a triangle choke.

Result: Bravo via 1st round sub(Triangle)

Ernesto “Che” Guevara vs. Daario Naharis (205)

Guevara showed a smart strategy in the early goings by clinching and looking to take down the superior striker, however Naharis was consistently landing body shots and following up with head shots. Naharis then slowed Guevara down even more by denying his takedown attempts and eventually dropped him with a magnificent combo and then ushered him back to his feet and landed a massive shot and a follow up barrage to make the ref step in and declare a winner.

Result: Naharis via 1st round TKO(strikes)

Raoul “Paranoia” Duke vs. Smokey “The Bizarre One” Reaper (170)

Round one started and Duke showed that he wanted no part of Reaper’s stand up game and looked to clinch and take down. Not much happened in the first other than the clinching and takedown, rinsing and repeating, it worked for Duke. The second Duke tried more of the same, but Reaper landing more standing strikes and denying the takedowns of Duke. Going into the third it was one round a piece. Duke managed to get two takedowns in the third to secure the victory. It wasn’t a pretty fight but Duke showed a smart gameplan and Reaper showed holes in his game that need improving.

Result: Duke via UD(29:28)

Daniel Tolmer vs. Tuke Hong (170)

The main event, I had this down as a squash match, and it pretty much was. Tolmer however showed great promise. Hong lit him up standing but in the first round Tolmer managed to get a takedown, Hong however reversed position and got the back of Tolmer, managing to land a couple of good strikes. Round two, Hong again lit Tolmer up standing but couldn’t put him away, managing to defend the desperate takedowns of Tolmer. Round 3 was more of the same, with Tong landing at will, eventually he managed to rock Tolmer and force the ref to stop the fight. Great showing by Hong, but his next fight needs to be an opponent of his level. Tolmer showed great toughness in this fight.

Result: Hong by 3rd round TKO(strikes)

A successful first event for TKOMMA, with 7 out of 9 fights ending up in a finish and some great fights all around. These kids will be the stars of tomorrow and its great to be able to witness them and until next time,

TKOMMA Sign Young Nevada Amateur Sensation

Championship Association Press has recently learnt that young Nevada native Kieran “The Beast” Baxter has signed with TKOMMA – The Kids Of MMA (youth organisation of the world wide force known as GAMMA) for a contract guaranteeing him 4 fights with the organisation. Baxter, who has been practicing Martial Arts since the age of 9, when he began doing Judo and Tai-Kwon-Do with his father week, and has had 6 amateur bouts (all of which he has won), should not be taken lightly by any of the current crop in the GAMMA development organisation.

Baxter himself was quoted in saying; “It’s a great new experience for me, I’ve really enjoyed my experience in MMA so far and while my parents may have wished I’d have gone off to college first, they’ve said they’ll support me none the less. My dad even still has in his mind he’s my coach, sorry Dad, this isn’t the junior football team anymore!” He said with a smile.

This young man may not have all the tools just yet but with the right guidance and training to expand his expertise’s to wider than just his Judo/Tai-Kwon Do background, he could be a force to be reckoned with in the future – for now, TKOMMA is the starting block and it’ll be interesting to see just who his first match up will be against!

Welcome to the second event in GAMMA-TKOMMA history as the org looks to build on its success and showcase the fine young gentlemen who will make up the stars of tomorrow. Going down on the 10th of May in Las Vegas, Nevada TKOMMA#2 promises to be an all round great display of MMA.

Hulk Basham (0-0) vs. Mario Balotelli (0-2) 265+ division

We start the evening off with a fighter making his debut in Basham, who is well discipline in the martial art of Muay Thai. Mario Balotelli, has already has some experience fighting on the local circuit but having no success as he was submitted both times. The fights show he likes to wear his opponents down with takedowns and clinching but he shows poor defensive grappling skills. Basham will likely have the striking advantage whilst Balotelli will have the wrestling.

Prediction: Basham via (T)KO 1st round

Willy Fisterbottom (2-0) vs. Jimbob “The Log” Dunkle (0-0) 265+ division

Fisterbottom has had two successful showings in the local circuit, can he make a successful debut for TKOMMA? He has shown to be a submission whiz as both his wins are by submission, however his most recent fight he showed some power by repeatedly rocking and knocking down his opponent before submitting him. Dunkle will be making his pro debut, he is said to be a boxer with good knowledge of wrestling and basic skills on the ground so he will likely look to sprawl and brawl here.

Prediction: Dunkle via (T)KO 2nd round

Magnar “Of the Thenn” Styr (0-0) vs. Big Dog “Minotauro” Nog (1-0) 265+ division

Styr is another Muay Thai specialist making his pro debut, whether he will look for the clinch or use the kicking game remains to be seen. Nog has one pro fight winning via submission and looks to have an edge over Styr with a purple belt and superior wrestling. Look for Nog to try to use his superior ground game to submit Styr and look for Styr to try to knock out Nog.

Prediction: Nog via sub 1st round

Sofoklis “The Genie” Aristotelis (0-0) vs. Erik “Powershot” Chavez (0-0) 205 division

Moving on down to the light heavyweight division we have two youngsters making their pro debuts. Aristotelis has wonderful Muay Thai and some boxing skills with little in the way of a ground game. Chavez has a blue belt in BJJ but may elect to stand and use his superior boxing skills. With neither man being a wrestler expect this bout to stay standing, whether Aristotelis will clinch or kick is yet to be seen.

Prediction: Aristotelis via UD

Borat Sagdiyev (2-0) vs. Ruben “The Emperor” Ellis (0-0) 170 division

This has the makings of a ground war folks. Sagdiyev has two wins by submission, however in those two wins he was taken down and submitted them off of his back, which is surprising as he is said to be a great wrestler himself and we all know how wrestlers don’t like being on their backs. Ellis has the makings of a traditional BJJ player, a brown belt in that discipline and will more than likely hope that Sagdiyev obliges in giving him a ground war. Sagdiyev can decide with his wrestling (if he has tightened up his TDD) where this fight will take place, standing or will he give the crowd a grappling match

Prediction: Sagdiyev via UD

Amun “The Sun God” Ra (0-0) vs. Ben “World Champ” Kelz (1-0) 205 division

Ra, making his debut specialises in Muay Thai and holds a blue belt in BJJ. Kelz has had a fight before and showed a good heavy clinch game and good takedowns, however his strongest point is also his Muay Thai but he is not as proficient as Ra so look for Kelz to try and ground Ra.

Prediction: Ra via (T)KO 3rd round

Jony Mann (0-0) vs. Demian “Maia” BigRig (0-0) 205 division

Mann is a wrestler by trade, BigRig is a brown belt in BJJ. Its no secret what each man is, its just a question of BigRig’s brown belt vs Mann’s white belt. My head is telling me that Mann will secure top control but BigRig will find an opening and finish the fight early.

Prediction: BigRig via sub 1st round

Reginald “Red” Horner (1-0) vs. Beat Down (0-0) 205 division

Horner brings to this an impressive stand up game, especially his Muay Thai and his boxing is also very good. He also possesses a blue belt in BJJ but due to his lack of wrestling look for him to take this fight into a clinch or keep it at range. Down excels at boxing, he may be the most talented boxer in TKOMMA and his other skills are coming along very nicely but none of them shine out and are probably used for defensive purposes so he can use his brilliant boxing game.

Prediction: Down via UD

Johny “The Bull” Persecutioned (0-0) vs. “The” Super Fly (0-0) 205 division

Persecutioned and Fly will be making their debuts here, they each specialise in the others weakness however. Persecutioned looks like a sprawl and brawl type of guy with respectable boxing and wrestling. Fly has great Muay Thai with a blue belt and mediocre wrestling. So Persecutioned will likely try to keep this at range and box Fly up and Fly should look to secure the clinch and rock and lock.

Prediction: Fly via sub 2nd round

“The Eunuch Warrior” Grey Worm (0-0) vs. Paul “The Edge” Mars (1-1) 170 division

Time for the main event of the evening. Worm has a brown belt, and that about it. He seems to lack a well rounded game but he is making his debut and he is young so there is time to improve. Mars is a wrestler who has fought twice already and gone to two decisions, one in his favour and one against him. He showed a good top game but struggled when he was taken down himself. This could be a fight where Mars shows good top control and manages to stay away from a submission or where Worm pulls off the sub, my vote is for the latter.

Prediction: Worm via sub 1st round

That’s all from me folks, tune in on the 10th of May Las Vegas time to watch this card and to watch the next generation of superstars make their names.

Not particularly known for his smack talking, or even talking for that matter, I catch up with Grey Worm ahead of his fight this weekend at GAMMA-TKOMMA#2 against Paul Mars.

Reporter: Mr. Worm? What do you feel ahead of your pro debut?

GW: Nothing, I will make sure I do what I am ordered or I shall willingly throw down my spear and fall upon my sword.

R: It is said you do not speak to anyone in your training? Is this true?

GW: Yes. We are there to better our physical states and hone our skills not to prove who has the quickest tongue.

R: Will you be wearing your armour before you enter the cage?

GW: Yes. It made me who I am. This man who steps in front of me should be thankful he did not face me before Michael Brakeley found me as I was killing people at my masters will.

R: Okay, I don't want to cross you in a dark alley.

GW: That would be most unwise of you.

R: Good luck in your fight whos next on your radar?

GW: I plan to go down to the 14lbs division so I can fight men my size no giants that need to fight small men. And I will proceed to be the first champion of TKOMMA 145 division's history.

Draco "Draconis" Drogo

Born in London, but of Russian descent, Draco Drogo possesses the cold, steely determination of Mother Russia, and the mannerisms of an English gentleman. Fresh out of signing a contract with TKOMMA, hot prospect Draco Drogo is optimistic about his chances in the org.

R: Hey Draco, how are you doing today?

D: I am doing very well, thank you comrade.

R: Now, you have only had one fight in an MMA bout, but you were very impressive, rocking your opponent while also knocking him down 3 times before finishing him in vicious fashion. How do you feel you will do in TKOMMA?

D: Well, I feel physically fantastic, my striking is sharp, and my defensive maneuvers are strong. I feel like I can keep my opponents where I want them and I feel strong enough to finish them quickly.

R: How do you feel about the competition in TKOMMA for your division?

D: I feel there is a lot of worthy opponents in the division. I am in the middle of them so I can fight anyone,, just how I like it. I am happy that I will be fighting people equal with me in terms of ability and I feel confident that I can beat anyone.

R: Thank you for your time Draco and we look forward to seeing you demonstrate your ability in the cage sometime soon

TKOMMA#2 Review by Michael Brakeley

8 finishes in 10 fights, who got those finishes, well read on.

Hulk Basham vs. Mario Balotelli 265+ division

Basham immediately secured the clinch in round one. He proceeded to bash in the body of Balotelli and come over the top with smashing elbows. Balotelli tried desperately to get a takedown but eventually the elbows landed by Basham cut Balotelli up too bad and the fight was forced to come to a stop and the doctor waved he fight off. I predicted a finish for Basham in round 1 and I was correct.

Result: Basham via TKO(cut) round 1

Willy Fisterbottom vs. Jimbob “The Log” Dunkle 265+ division

I thought Dunkle would take his time to pick apart Fisterbottom for a KO in round 2 but he showed great aggressiveness and got it done within round 1. Both guys came out swinging, Fisterbottom hit air the whole time and Dunkle repeatedly tagged him with hard shots, knocking him all over the place, it was a matter of time before he landed that one punch and it was a spectacular punch at that, straight right for a clean KO

Result: Dunkle via KO round 1

Magnar “Of the Thenn” Styr vs. Big Dog “Minotauro” Nog 265+ division

Styr tried for 20 seconds to knock Nog out but Nog dodged all punches and got a takedown, after some ground and pound, Styr made a mistake and Nog got the arm triangle for the tap out victory. I predicted a round 1 submission and I was right

Result: Nog via arm triangle round 1

Sofoklis “The Genie” Aristotelis vs. Erik “Powershot” Chavez 205 division

Aristotelis showed off an amazing clinch, Chavez tried until the end, after each round opened haves likely got the better at range with punches but was helpless in the clinch as Aristotelis elbowed his way to victory over 3 rounds, the cut on Chavez was horrible and children in the audience were ushered away by their parents. I had an inkling that Aristotelis would get the clinch to get his way to a decision, and yet again I was right

Result: Aristotelis via UD

Borat Sagdiyev vs. Ruben “The Emperor” Ellis 170 division

How wrong I was in this matchup. I though Sagdiyev’s wrestling would allow him to keep him on top and I though his purple belt would be used defensively, apparently Ellis wanted to show me never sleep on his brown belt as he was taken down but got a lightening quick armbar in 35 second of the first round.

Result: Ellis via armbar round 1

Amun “The Sun God” Ra (0-0) vs. Ben “World Champ” Kelz (1-0) 205 division

Ra, showed lethal, lethal kicks. Kelz did nothing but take them. Ra hit kicks to the body to the legs, he kept Kelz guessing. Then Ra threw a monster high kick that had Kelz wishing he didn’t accept the fight.

Result: Ra via head kick KO round 1

Jony Mann (0-0) vs. Demian “Maia” BigRig (0-0) 205 division

As I expected, Mann got the takedown, tried to ground and pound which allowed BigRig to snatch up an armbar, quick fight

Result: BigRig via armbar round 1

Reginald “Red” Horner (1-0) vs. Beat Down (0-0) 205 division

I expected this to go the distance, but Down showed he has nuclear bombs for fists. He threw 3 punches, 2 knocking Horner down then the third was a picture perfect hook that almost took Horner’s head clean off. Great showing by Down.

Result: Down via KO round 1

Johny “The Bull” Persecutioned (0-0) vs. “The” Super Fly (0-0) 205 division

Overall in this fight, 10 standing strikes were landed, over 3 rounds!!! A lot of stalling on the ground and in the clinch. Persecutioned managed to get the fight to the floor where both tried a few submissions but nothing really stands out about this fight. Fly managed to convince to the judges he did enough for a UD win

Result: Fly via UD

“The Eunuch Warrior” Grey Worm vs. Paul “The Edge” Mars (1-1) 170 division

Before the fight I predicted Worm would get a first round sub, was I right? Well yes, after about a second, Worm got a beautiful power double into the guard of Mars, Mars for his part survived a while but eventually Worms brown belt allowed him to get a slick transition from triangle to armbar and Mars had to tap or let it snap.

Result: Worm via armbar 1st round

Great night of fights, with 8 finishes in total. Great clean KO’s and really slick submissions. I got 9/10 correctly picked fights with 5 totally correct picks where I chose the method and round of the fight, so I am round myself, let’s see if I can keep it up for next week’s TKOMMA#3 event. It is looking like a bright future for the Kids of MMA both the organisation and the kids who go out and fight.

Til next time,

Michael “The Wolf” Brakeley
