  1. MMAtv: The Immortals Show.... Returns! Featuring the best of the best in the MMA biz- Bob Jones(Preview/Review writer for fight orgs such as NFC, Immortals NY, The Siberian Fight League, Xtreme Fighting Championships, also a blogger for mmajunkie.com) Razhiki Hendayko(Former Shane Wellman fighter in Immortals and VFC, cageside reporter for several org's now) Frankie Desir(Loudmouth editor of the magazine MMA:International and betting counisier) Jesse Shiner(Runs his own MMA radio show featuring orgs on the west coast of the United States, statician of the group) Also we plan on bringing in current Immortals owner and big time manager- Peel Steel, later on the show. Lets Begin though! Bob Jones: Hello Everyone I’m your main host and we have quite an amount of catching up to do but we will be sure to fill you in on whats going on. Jesse Shiner: Also we will give you pick of ours for INY 47 Wauler versus Huxley and I’ll be here to break down the stats. Frankie Desir: So whats up with new rivalries now anything going on?! Razhiki Hendayko: Well from what I’ve seen down at the teams training camps Corey Smith and Vladimir Van Kirkland have a friendly rivalry in their rematch but for sure Smith will want blood this time. Its weird now though with Van Kirkland not even being champ! Jones: Yes Vlad was quite the champ at 155 and he didn’t dodge opponents… He held the title twice and defended it 5 times. What a beast, Glenn Wauler was a tough opponent and that was a tough match. Hendayko: I don’t think Huxley is good enough to beat him.. Huxley is a hype monster, he even dodged a fight with SHANE WELLMAN JUNIOR… Yes its true people he did in fact dodge the “lowly” 9-8 veteran and former contender… Remember you heard it here on Immortals TV Desir: Theres quite a lot going on in the 265 division now too if I’m naht mistaken boys!? Shiner: The legend Derric Styles lost and his successor Kaleshnikov lost too. Who would have though Soham Roy would be the new champ? I sure as hell didn’t after his loss to Fujiata. Jones: Soham Roy’s future opponent is up in the air. We will talk about this with owner Peel Steel later. Hendayko: Roy is another guy who is always working hard in the gym, no slacking on his part. He and Kally put on a hell of a show for the fans. Jones: This just in guys, we are going to be bringing in owner Peel Steel a bit early due to a scheduling conflict with the pay per view program later- “Dirty MILF Sluts 9”. Steel comes out and shakes hands down the row and takes his seat. Jones:Welcome Mr. Steel. There is something big on our minds today… Who are the new top contenders in the 265 division after the fall of Derric Styles? Steel:There are three fighters that immediately come to mind, Devin Styles, Kurtz and Prime. Styles and Kurtz are due to fight soon and the winner will be worthy of a shot at the title. Prime has good skills also, so I would recommend Immortals fans keeping a keen eye on his progress also. Kaleshnikov's really wasnt expected to drop a decision to Roy, who many thought was a little too raw to be facing such an accomplished champion but he did the unimaginable. It just shows what can be achieved, I was worried about a lack of depth at 265 but suddenly its looking good and Roy's win offers hope to all the young guns in Immortals in every division. Maybe there are more shocks for the established fighters to come in 2013? Desir Well Mr. Steel I’m naht tryin tah be rude and all buttt- On you own fighters, you are 1-6 in your last 7 fights in Immortals, whats going on in the Steel camp to fix that? Steel”To be honest I had not noticed, but sometimes my guys are persuaded to take fights they arent equipped to win. Curtis Jackson has faced Kalashnikov and then Prime, two guys from private gyms. Curtis isnt a natural and maybe once he has faced Simmons he will retire from the sport. He certainly goes into trying to win, but invariably he isnt the most talented guy in the camp. As for Bueno, he has a lot of talent but gets outworked by strikers at the moment. He took a round out of Ventura when Ventura made his debut and no one would touch Ventura back then. Bowman Rook would be a good match up for him, but Taco needs to get himself into the title picture first. Shiner: I would like to know this as I have noticed an influx of young talent. Who are some of the new hotshot young prospects in Immortals? Steel:In the 145 division both Washington and Jackson look terrific fighters and their title fight next week should be spectacular. At 155 I would look out for both Sandoval and Zavier. Zavier fights Wellman Jnr next week I this one should be another great fight. Wellman Jnr has held off the young bucks to date, and Zavier is a real threat with a manager who has real faith in his talent. At 170 and 185 there is some incredible talent but these guys are established, though at 205 Renninger looks good and I know his manager wanted someone better than Phoenix, so yeh, look out for Renninger as his camp think he is the real deal. At 265 Im excited to see how young Walter Kurtz gets on against Devin Styles, as Kurtz stand up looks world class. This fight should be amazing. Hendayko: Is Ventura versus Rook the biggest fight in Immortals history? As claimed by Alexi Zaitev What do you think? No way, its a good fight, we have a streaking challenger in Rook who seems capable of neutralizing strikers against a points scoring machine in Ventura. I think some of the fights in the 170 division with Cunha, Bennett, Hall, GSP and Wauler have been awesome. Jones: Last question Mr. Steel we know your very busy. Your prediction on who wins the belt between Huxley and Wauler? Steel:Huxley seems to be able to concuss the toughest of fighters, he is arguably the biggest puncher in the division at the moment. He is facing a guy who has never been stopped and who can dictate where the fight takes place. He outpointed Vladdy, sure it was controversial, but Vladdy had only been beaten by submission, never had he been outworked or even run close by a striker. I think Huxley is good for MMA but Wauler, I think, will find a way to win this. Hendayko: Big thanks to Mr. Steel for that insight as an owner. Its good to get views from all over the MMA business and in the ring too which is why we have such a diverse team and it really is excellent. Jones: Well guys its time for quick picks with Jesse and Frankie, lets keep up with them as they quickly go through each fight INY 47 and give who they think will win and a short explanation…. Lets go now… Barera versus Hammer at 170!? [/b]Frankie Desir:[/b] Von Hammer by KO tonight baby! Barera sucks and is down in the dumps, Hammer has a solid manager in Lansky. Jesse Shiner: Two fighters with bad records but Hammer has more pop here. Jones: MyFace versus Froglegs 205!? Desir: Froglegs chops him tah death with leg kicks in a decision victory. Shiner: I’m going with MyFace here surprisingly, he lands a higher rate of strikes. Jones: Martin versus Buhler 205.. Desir: Buhler, kids a great wrestler and good young talent. Late TKO victory. Shiner: Buhler, Martin is the better striker but is vulnerable to takedowns. Hendayko: Hey guys how bout this.. Hunt versus Heisman at 265+? Desir: Heisman wins this one bahttt this does not back up any of da smack talk his manager is doing, scrub fight here. Shiner: Heisman is the hot ticket and the favorite and I’m going with him, he has some iron fists. Hendayko: Beast of The East and Ray Cold? Remember when Cold came in and was a contender? Desir: Dey both suck! East by decision… I guess Shiner: Cold has face amazing competition in his losses. Cold by TKO. Jones: Main card here- Grohl and Gustin at 185... Desir: Ughhh, pass… Gustin by KO. Shiner: I’ll second that. Gustin. Jones: Take your time on these next couple of fights, big ones… Amir Khan versus Joe Saunders? Desir: Saunders is one of my favorite Immortals fightah’s. He’s a tough guy from Brooklyn with pop in his hands. Saunders won’t go down without a fight and has beaten and lost to some of the best. I’m going with Diablo here! Shiner: Amir Khan only has 3 fights but those were some tough fighters and he has a lot higher of a striking percentage and is an overall better boxer- which is Saunders strength. He won 2 rounds in his win over the former champ Cerezo and was only taken down once. Amir Khan here by decision! Jones: Great answers guys. Next up at 170- Stewart versus Maxim Kharlamov- the Russian Warrior. Desir: Kharlamov is often overlooked, he physically may be a top 3 fighter in Immortals! He’s already beaten Stewart by TKO and I think he does it again here! Imma parta TEAM KHARLAMOV! Shiner: Don’t mean any harm to the Melton camp but Stewart couldn’t get it done the first time no need to think he can here- He landed 30 strikes on the ground on Stewart before! (under a different name) Jones:Co-Main event here Erik Bennett versus Jon Monroe for the 170 title… Bennett has won 8 straight and has 1 title defense. Shiner: Bennett is a beast! Wrestler. He lands about half of his takedowns which is crazy. Monroe is such a talented striker though his hands are tough to get by. I’m going with Monroe here in a squeaked out decision.. Desir: Ayyyeee don’t be so quick to count out the champ who can land takedowns at will baby! He beat legends like Santa Cruz and Cunha and he has outworked everyone to be champ. He’s the favorite at the casino and that’s who I got my money on! Hendayko: Last but not least the main event… Wauler versus Huxley for the 155 belt! Desir: Wow this is tough and just gunna be a hella fight for the fans. Huxley is a blaster with 9 freakin TKO victories and is just plowing through guys in Immortals now. Wauler beat the champ before in Vladdy and now I gotta take the current champ again based on his prestige and toughness. Wauler by decision.. Shiner: Wauler is tough as nails and well rounded, Huxley is a bit less talented but has so much heart and grit. Both like to grind it out in the clinch too but Huxley prefers Muy Thai while Wauler prefers to dirty box. I’m also going with Wauler here as I think he wears out Huxley. Jones: Great stuff guys, that’s all we have time for due to the scandalous pay per view coming on after this, have a great night guys and the next show is sure to be hopefully longer!.

The little things, theres nothing bigger. Thank you for making my day Mike. I hope each and everyone of you can find some good vibes and cheer over this holiday season and remember that life is what we make it so create something special. Seasons Greeting, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Honika, Valise Nevada or what ever may apply to you, I wish you all good vibes and cheer.

  3. No. Let's get rid of all mega arenas. The event ratings are bloated and meaningless. The profits are grotesque and saturated. Unless there is a mega arena in every city, it is patently unfair to bigger orgs without the arena. While you're at it, slash the effect of advertising on event ratings, it only serves to further dilute the meaning of event ratings. This entire thread feels like political maneuvering to obtain something that you (not you specifically MegaJug, but the collective you) want. I've been there. I've done that. I know about the political maneuvering to get what you want. What I know without a scintilla of personal interest in the outcome of this thread is that mega-arenas are bad for the game. Period. And a 40k arena is almost as bad as the 93k arena, especially if its only in a few select cities for a select period of time. At the current rate, orgs will be hitting 1000 event ratings in Tokyo sized arenas in less than 6 months.

  4. Was just thinking about this today - how about having arenas that aren't open all the time? If we can't have the same arenas in all cities, maybe we have larger (40k ish) arenas that are open every 4th week or so, in each city. This would be in conjunction with reducing the LA capacity.

  5. The reason you are seeing vet players joining with really high level fighters is because of the write-ups and smacktalk. A lot of managers have more money than they can spend...but one thing they can't buy is write-ups and smacktalk that make your fights about 1000 times more interesting. They don't really care about low pay because they have plenty of money. I can tell you that me and my alliance mate that's also in the org....we aren't stealing hype and leaving. We aren't going anywhere, cause this is the org where the most fun can be had

  7. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company_banners/1335521283godnnedimm.jpg INY 47 Wauler vs Huxley Hayashi’s Lounge, New York City December 22, 2012 155lb World Title Wauler vs Huxley Wauler makes the 1st defense of his world title, one he won from future Hall of Famer Vladdy Van Kirkland via majority decision, only 3 months ago. This excellent boxer will need his world class chin more than any other time in his career when he faces arguably the hardest puncher in the lightweight division. This will be a war, Huxley has defeated both Corey Smith and Joe Saunders in his last 2 fights. Huxley outslugged Smith, Smith had never lost by KO to a striker to this point, and then he forced Saunders into tapping out through strikes, and Saunders prided himself on his durability! Wauler has faced Van Kirkland, Cunha, McGuire and Hall, so he has competed and won consistently at a higher level than Huxley. Wauler has only ever been beaten by grapplers and Huxley has only been beaten once and then by a grappler, so one of these fighters is going to taste defeat to a striker for the first time. Who will prevail? Wauler has the pedigree, but Huxley has hands of stone so on December 22nd we will witness something spectacular! 170lb World Title Bennett vs Monroe Erik Bennett is on a roll, an 8 fight win streak, in contention for INY Fighter of the Year, and the current World Welterweight Champion. Bennett began his career as a wrestler but has developed his striking skills immensely. He became the first man to KO Tari Cunha, and used his striking skills to secure a unanimous decision last time out against Santa Cruz. The challenger is none other than former 170lb champ Jon Monroe who took the title from Kirk Hall nearly two years ago but he relinquished it in his first defense to Cunha. Since then he has KO’d Davies and Lee, and drew with the fearsome Kharlamov last time out. Monroe is 8-1-1 compiled by using his world class boxing skills, and predominantly boxing his opponents at range. I don’t see Monroe changing for Bennett, the question is whether Bennett who has preferred to keep fights standing of late, elects to utilize other skills at his disposal. I would expect him to mix things up, take the fight into the clinch, take Monroe down and grind it out. This is a high quality match up, a genuine World Class World Title fight and I have Bennett starting a slight favorite. 170lb - The Fight for the Right Stewart vs Kharmalov Stewart 9-5 has fought anyone who is anyone at 170, having taken wins against Bennett, Cunha, Davies, Uesugi and Haley. Unfortunately he has never got the win that gets a title shot, so this fight, a rematch against a fighter who beat him convincingly nearly a year ago, is the most important of Stewart’s action packed career. Kharmalov, 4-1-1 looks incredible when he takes guys down and pounds on them. He sets up his takedowns with a great clinch attack and good boxing skills, and his camp will be disappointed that he isn’t fighting in the main event for the title. Kharmalov’s ground and pound attack devastated Stewart when they last fought, which given Stewart’s wrestling base and BJJ skills was shocking. He will come to the cage full of confidence and I expect him to believe that serving up the same dish as last time will overwhelm Stewart once again. The Melton camp haven’t faired so well against The Janne camp, and Team Melton will have to raise their game if they are to get that elusive title shot. 155lb Division Khan vs Saunders When this fight was made Khan, who has incredible boxing skills and credible clinch game looked a fighter on the up. He had just decisioned former champ Cerezo and was looking to use Saunders as a stepping stone to the top. However, with his management team, a co-operative of hoodlums from Bolton England embroiled in a bitter drug war with a rival gang from Salford, Bolton born Khan hasn’t heard from his team for weeks. Saunders is from the excellent Davey Jones camp, is always in great condition and ready to go to war. Saunders has been in with some good fighters such as Pintor, Wellman Jnr, and Huxley, but he hasn’t managed that breakthrough win. A capable boxer with credible power, he also has decent ground skills, and has only been stopped once in 13 outings. Khan hasn’t been tested by a puncher, and hasn’t shown any real power himself, so if Saunders can rough Khan up in the clinch he might find Khan caves. This is a hard fight to call, a real even fight for the purists. 185lb Division Grohl vs Gustin Grohl 4-5 has lost his last two fights by KO to strikers and faces a younger but very promising striker in Gustin. Gustin is 3-0 (3 stoppages) trains in the Evil Empire private gym, has excellent skills for a young fighter, and an abundance of KO power. Gustin should come through this fight with relative ease, and get the job done inside the 1st round. 155lb Division Cold vs The East Cold is 7-6 (0-4 INY) and his management have run out on him so this dude looks ready to be beaten for a 5th consecutive fight come Saturday night. Fortunately for the ill prepared Cold, he is facing a fighter with a 5-7 record called the Beast from the East. Beast is 1-7 from his last eight fights, was stopped last time out but usually gets beat by decision. One of these guys will at least get a W, and I hope its Beast because his manager at least supports his fighter. 265+ Division Hunt vs Heisman Hunt 4-3 has heavy hands, can box as well as takedown and work for submissions. He has scored wins by submission and beaten guys up in the clinch, but he does cut and this could be a problem in this fight. Heisman is 1-0 1KO and is a former amateur boxing star, who has become notorious among strikers in his gym for being able to take a great shot. This is worrying for Hunt who will either have planned to try and catch Heisman with a haymaker or go all out for the takedowns and hope for the submission. I’d chose the latter. 205lb Division Martin vs Buhler Martin is 5-6 well rounded with his losses of late coming as a result of being overwhelmed when facing specialist grapplers, a defense you would be expecting him to have developed at this stage of his career. Buhler is another exceptional wrestler so unless Martin has finally worked on this takedown defense and wrestling, then the Assasi camp will be celebrating another successful night in the INY. 205lb Division My Face vs Froglegs Two veteran journeymen meet with one of them getting a much needed win. My Face is heavy handed, can box and likes to shoot for takedowns, though he seems largely ineffective in every facet of MMA. Froglegs has decent all round skills, can box and has capable ground skills. He throws way too many power combos and needs to tighten up on his accuracy and see if he can start putting some wins together. Froglegs can win this, let us hope his camp have him prepared for a victory. 170lb Division Barera vs Von Hammer Barera is, to be brutally honest, a complete sack of shite, next to no skills worth a mention, a 5 fight losing streak, 5 of his 6 losses by KO and the other by submission, he is a dream opponent. Facing him is Von Hammer who hasn’t won for nearly 2 years, since he scored a big KO against none other than the walking can he faces once again on Saturday night. Von Hammer by KO 1st round. Enjoy the night Immortals Fans!

  10. And submissions are just flavour text in this game, which means that the game itself does not know if you just pulled off an armbar from mount or an arm triangle. There's no point in discussing this further, as A ) It's impossible or very, very difficult to make this happen and B ) There is about a hundred more important things to fix already.

Definitely still a threat to win it all and what a story that would be coming back from losing his first fight. Congrats on the bounty as well. Good luck in the next rounds everyone.

  14. If by decent amount of proof, you mean IP traces, then I'm pretty sure there's not going to be any. However, if that's the definition of decent proof, then we might as well allow everybody to have multiple accounts once and for all. Nobody, and I mean nobody releases winning fighters with great hiddens voluntarily (which then happens to wind up with the same manager). It's literally 5 minutes of work to determine that this guy is a cheater. You wiped his hype, so you've got to feel that he did wrong one way or another. At the very least he should have his fighters deleted. We all wish for you to work on the game, but if rampant, obvious cheating like this is allowed, then I'm not sure I'll be around to enjoy it.

  17. http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgupcomingeventpublic.php?EvID=757511 Event hasn't happened yet, but just look at the main event you have #1 p4p fighter in Sinuhe Egyptian who just beat Sam Hall who had an VERY impressive year. Then you have Otso Jokinen who has fought 17 fights this year winning 15 of them and against top competition, just beating the #2 lightweight and has a case for fighter of the year You also have the current NFC champion Torturo facing the ex EMPIRE champion Moses Diggs in the card, should be a good one.

  24. iFight Fight Gear has a job opening for a designer that pays $1000 a week or more. It can be changed if discussed with iFight's owner. The job of a designer would be to make t-shirts and shorts to sell. I really need one soon because iFight will soon start a new line of clothing (Echo by iFight). This clothing line will be through January. Please contact Jake Savage for more info. 25. Sorry Gable, but respectfully, you can only speak for yourself. The only political maneuvering I've seen is people asking for the arena in their city, and that is only fair. Like I stated earlier, 40k arenas across the board is fine with me, but they need to be on every city! Not LA and 1 in Europe. That isn't fair to our org. Empire. We already have people complaining, and rightfully so, that they signed to fight in NY, not LA. That hurts our ability to compete with the other orgs. As for the big arena I've laid out perfectly reasonable reasons why they should stay and money sinks should be addressed. I've stated that even if its changed to 40k arenas money sinks still need to be addressed. Ive also pointed out that the gap between big orgs and small orgs isn't the arena itself, but the hardship in getting PPVs to work. All this is constantly ignored, so by all means continue to fuck the game up. Ill sit here and shake my head in disbelief like I did when tickers went in.

  26. http://www.mmatycoon...php?EvID=757510 That card has 8 fighters ranked outside the top 1000 P4P and none ranked in the Top 10. They should be losing a lot of money on that event (unless all the fighters are tied down to North Korean communist slave contracts), and at best I think maybe 40-50K people would show up to watch it. Nevermind...not sure if this is accurate or not on attendence levels: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_UFC_events But at the peak, the #1 company should be having an attendence similar to the UFC's. 20K arena's make sense, but I think there should be bigger arenas that boost event rating, but eat your cash and be damn near impossible to generate a profit (i.e. LA Colloseum)
