  2. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/25/25w10.jpg "Beep Beep" Richie McCaw (154281) 19-13-0 Recently signing to TTFC in New York, Theodore Boston fighter, Richie McCaw has put together back to back victories against former champion Kearney McGarrity and former title challenger Dean Anderson. Impressed by the Dublin natives techniques, TTFC Owner, Mike Thomas, announced today that on 2014-06-28, Lester Cockenschtuff will be putting his title on the line against the TTFC newcomber McCaw. Reports from members of The Cave Fighting Team gym in Hilo are claiming that Richie is excited for the fight and plans to train the hardest he ever has for the biggest fight of his career. Although denying an interview from a popular MMA media source, McCaw's manager was not shy to share his thoughts on the bout. Theodore Boston: Lester is a tough opponent no doubt, his back to back losses in no way make this figh any easier for us. We want his belt but he wants his p4p ranking back so it's hard to tell at this point who this fight means more to. Richie is full of tricks, he can stand and trade or he can take you down and pound you. Pulling guard and looking for submissions is also a possibility. We will just have to review the tapes and see what we think will be best. Win or lose I'm nothing but proud but winning is without a doubt the goal here. You do not want to miss this fight! Thanks for your time..

  4. Hey everyone, we're here with the Hostility: 170lb. Creation Tournament Champion "The Trucker" Hendo Riggs. We have an some questions to ask him about his performance in the tournament and what he thinks about his future moving forward. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/manager_avatars/1395185536Untitled.png http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13952601315479.jpg Calvin Hobbes: "Hey Hendo, thanks for joining us. First off congratulations on winning the tournament and becoming our first 170lb champion and going down in our HOF, you gotta be feeling great right now?" Hendo Riggs: "Thank you, and yes i'm feeling excellent, I haven't slept since my win and my belt is my new spouse" Calvin Hobbes: "Haha, awesome.. and kind of weird. But hey, you're the champ, you can do whatever you want! You had a huge wrestling background and surprised everybody by destroying them in the clinch and then switched it up in the final fight. Was this your plan all along? " Hendo Riggs: "I kind of treat each fight differently, Tiburco was a great opponent, i know i will see him again, I saw his past fights and saw he was accurate in the standup and a great grappler so I wanted to put him at a disadvantage." Calvin Hobbes: "Well, you and your manager seem to have a great fight IQ, especially for tournaments. You kind of answered my next question, was Tiburcio your biggest challenge?" Hendo Riggs: "Certainly, going in I felt like i wasnt going to be able to get the finish, he's an excellent fighter and i learned what I need to work on to maintain my belt. If the fans and management allow it, i'm going to take a week vacation and get back to the gym for a while before my next fight." Calvin Hobbes: "Yea he's a tough dude, was never able to finish his fights though! All the fans were pretty confident in you winning and I don't think they'll have any problem with you taking a break. Tiburcio is set to fight Sub Zero next for 2nd place. Having been the one to beat both of these guys, who do you think is going to secure 2nd?" Hendo Riggs: "Wow, what a tough one. Tiburcio is impressive but if he gets taken down, I think sub zero would certainly finish him off. So if I had to put 2 grand down on a guy at hostility's bookmakers,it would go to Sub Zero's cause, but I wont bet... this fight is worth spoilers!" Calvin Hobbes: "Yea both of those guys have put on some really great fights. We're almost out of time but I hope you enjoy your vacation and get back to training soon. You got some hungry 170lbers that wanna steal your belt. Anything you'd like to say to your family, friends or fans?" Hendo Riggs: "Just stay tuned, I promise to be better next time inside the octagon." Calvin Hobbes: "Sounds good, we appreciate your time and we hope to see you again soon Mr. Riggs."

  5. Had that battle happened in any other season I probably wouldn't have thought twice about it, but this season has been so good that I think I just went into plot development withdrawals. After we had talked about it, it makes sense that they tied up most of the loose ends by episode 8 so that The Wall and Tyrion can be center stage for the finale. I also get that if there is another big battle, like Blackwater, you have to do it justice and do it big. In hindsight is is nice to also have an episode where they just stab each other once in a while, but I would be lying if I said I didn't finish the episode a little unsatisfied ***Insert joke about a tycooner and women***. With that being said, it was still better than pretty much any episode of any other show...

  6. In the books it is an epic battle, and as such, it needs a whole episode to detail it all. I personally enjoyed the episode, and thought that the time was spent well. Next weeks episode will be fantastic as well

  9. Right - cause licking pre-cum is much worse than being showered in piss... Nope that's exactly what I meant to say - if you don't like it, put me on ignore, run off to a mod and tell him I'm using vulgar words or just shut the fuck up and move on.. Oh the 1000s of kiddies that play this game might read those words??? Well we better cut out fuck, shit, asshole, piss and every other vulgar word that gets used on these forums, because of course a game forum of such minuscule size is the only place where kiddies learn such disgusting things... You've done the world a favour today Steel - I shall nominate you for a Nobel prize for keeping the interweb a safe place for children....

  11. When you click the box beside vacate title you would get the following popup To make the contract looks less cluttered you can move the warning text to the pop up to confirm vacating the title Now fighters can vacate a belt without harming the org(If they are above 100 hype). A fighter wouldnt have to feel obligated to stay in the org because he holds a title. Maybe a fighter just wants to up the competition but also leave the org he is champion at on good terms.

  18. *Foreword: I'd just like to say this will be my last write up for Syn (due to having to help out with an organisation in my alliance and time not permitting me to continue) but I just want to say thank you to Dark Soul, the fighters and managers of Syn who have given me some great fights to build, hype and cover over the last month or so. Big fan of the org and hope to work with you guys again in the future, Best of luck to all the fighters! http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1363340514Logo01.jpg Syn' 303: Contenders – Review Live on PPV and at the LA Memorial Colossuseum (capacity: 93,607), LA, California Synchronicity hosted it’s 303rd show live on Pay-Per-View this weekend just passed at the LA Memorial Colossueseum. It was an event without some of the big names Syn fans love and known but it was definitely one of the top ones of the year as the determination and quality displayed by the fighters was right up there. Christian Nolan (23-19) vs Gigant "Big" Silva (22-13) It wasn’t the show stopping main event that all the fans expected but it was a solid fight, evenly contested fight that the fans enjoyed none the less. It was well worth the fans money as it was the last of 7 fights that reached the third round on this Syn card, infact this one went right the way to a decision. Some people may not like decisions being awarded in MMA and find them controversial but nobody can argue with this result, as Nolan beat Silva consistently throughout the 15minutes busting him open and leaving people wondering more how he didn’t actually finish Silva in this one, to take the Unanimous Decision victory (30-26) "Gambler" Bad Idea (27-12-1) vs "mēpisukaryā" Itagaki Fukuzawa (17-4-0) Another decision was called upon the judges but this one was more controversial than the main event. This fight may not have been more entertaining than the main event but it was a lot more closely contested, as Idea beat Fukuzawa by Split Decision (28:29. 29:28. 29:28). Many fans believe Idea was the rightly winner in this one but the second round was very much in the balance (although round one was dominated by idea and three by Fukuzawa) so it leaves the debate on scoring in MMA still very wide open. Daniel "Ravishing" Roth (24-11-2) vs "Thor" Eiji Kawashima (31-8) The only thing that kept this fight alive for as long as it did is the heart and durability of Daniel “Ravishing” Roth who’s performance inside of the cage Satruday night was no-where near as impressive as his performance leading up to the fight or during his entrance, as he lost in the second round by TKO to Eiji Kawashima in one of the most exciting bouts of the night. Kawashima’s performance was one of the most impressive of the night surviving the small ground assault from Roth and then proceeding to beat Roth on the stand-up more than convincingly. By the time the fight was over Roth was bleeding heavily and had a suspected concussion – which severity may have been limited by the good refereeing of the Syn official. "MR. NAUGHTY BOY" Mickey McFinnigan (21-11) vs Charles "Grenade" Gunn (25-14-1) A frantic high intensity fight that to the amazement of the Synchronicity fans made it too the final round and even the went the full distance. This fight had it all, fighters being rocked, knocked down and cuts galore but mainly in favour of one man; Charles Gunn who took the decision victory 27:30. Gunn had McFinnigan on the edge a number of times and looked like finishing the fight in all three rounds at various points. It is a testament to “Mr. Naughty Boys” resilience just how long this fight went on for as it looked like finish anytime from midway through the first round. This fight isn’t only a fight of the night candidate but also a fight of the month, as it was a true showstopper and I’d personally go as far to say it deserved the main event spot based upon its quality. Roderick "The Hammer" Jenkins (14-5) vs Jobe Nkemakolam (35-14) Another exciting fight that went the distance but could’ve been finished at any time was this one between Jenkins and Nkemakolam. This fight had a lot of great work from each competitor and had fans excited as both men used their fantastic cardio to stay as active as possible in this one, looking to finish. While it may not have been the blood fest McFinnigan vs Gunn became, it really was a great bout. In the end Nkemakolam was announced winner by Unanimous Decision, edging the decision 28:29 on all three judges’ scorecards, which the fans in general agreed with. "The Justice" Mitch Heisenberg (35-13-1) vs Hamid Zaferani (27-17-2) Not the show stopping blood fests the following fights were but from a technical stand point this was ace and the fans appreciated it as much as both of the above. Both men left it out there and were closely matched from start to finish. Heisenberg may have emerged winner by Majority Decision but many feel this could’ve genuinely been a draw and a deserved one at that with the first round being very much in the balance while the second and third were fairly taken by each man respectively. Young aspiring fighters should look to these two men on how to put on a show and other organisations should take from this and the great match making to make it happen. "Mjöllnir" Njord Freyr (25-11-0) vs "The Hulk" Autumn Hunter (24-9-1) For the first time since his arrival in Syn, Oslo, Norway born Njord Freyr’s fight did not finish in the first round; in fact Autumn Hunter took the fight the distance to the judge’s decision with three hard fought rounds. Not bad upon his return to Syn, after what people believed to be “The Hulks” last appearance for the organisation at Syn’294. Unfortunately despite the fantastic effort it wasn’t enough as Freyr controlled most the fight and took the fight by Unanimous Decision (30:27) after Hunter began to fall behind early on in the fight. Hunter can take heart from his first round display but will undoubtable disappointed with his performance from there on out. Buddy "The Faustus" Guy (26-5) vs Mark Sutter (22-16) A fight featuring a finish that, when spoken about in context with the general way of the bout, would’ve had the fans talking for years to come if it was the main event. Mark Sutter dominated the entire fight on the ground in the first round controlling from start to finish and coming close to finish Guy a couple of times but Guy was saved by the bell for the end of the round. The second round is where it all changed; Guy came out a new man, aggressive, pressing, wanting the win. And the win he got after only 30 seconds when he landed his third strike without response from a defensive Sutter, which sent Sutter stumbling towards the mat. Guy was not holding back and dived in down to finish the job and he did finish indeed with the official having to pull him off to stop any permanent damage. After the TKO victory was announced in Guy’s favour he sent big thanks to all his faithful fans before leaving the cage side area. "The Flash" Barry Allen (21-11) vs Keke "Hammer" Pummel (23-12) This was the only fight on the card not to get out of the first round but that was not of great surprise to the Syn fans as it was a bout featuring Keke Pummel, a man who win or lose leaves absolutely all of it on the line. Saturday night he left it all out there for no reward though, as Barry Allen delivered a crisp uppercut that left Pummel sprawled out cold. It appeared as if Pummel, who had been rocked by a big hook moments earlier, had regained himself and had the spring in his step back but even if he did, the uppercut was unavoidable. Allen will be very happy with his overall performance as well as the finish and many are calling for it to be awarded KO of the night. Rico "El Chupacabra" Dominguez (24-12-3) vs Chauncey "Nightcrow" Silvestre (31-17-1) These two Syn legends who have a graced the Synchronicty cage no less than a combined 22 times after this Saturday needed all 15 minutes to find a winner and not even Dominguez could deny that fan favourite “Nightcrow” deserved the Unanimous Decision victory (28:30, 28:29, 28:29) in one of the more lack-lustre performances of both mens careers. While it was not the worst bout in the world and did its job as an opener, it wasn’t the show stopper these two great men could’ve possibly once pulled off. Synchronicity can be proud again of their event, especially considering it’s during the Tycoon Olympics, and it’s fighters that have stepped up to the plate in the absence of some bigger names. Owner Dark Soul will be thankful to all his fighters for putting on a real show and will hope to see more of the same in the future. A real highlight of the night personally for me was the “Ravashing” Roth against Kawashima but the “Of the Night” awards have yet to be announced by sponsors Reaper Combatwear. 19. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1401997733image.jpg FV #22 – XXX – Review Live at the MMA Grand (Capacity 17,157) on Saturday 7th June On a sunny evening in Las Vegas, Nevada, Forbidden Violence brought one of their strongest cards to the MMA Grand for the Forbidden faithful to watch go at it and try to prove themselves as the best. One title fight on a card is normally a treat but two is great and that’s what the fans got Saturday night, along with 8 other fights including an incredible main event. Main Event Lobsta "HIGH TILL I DIE" Mang (25-11-0) vs Arvydas Sabonis (24-11-0) The main event of the evening featured two debutants who’s arrival in Forbidden Violence had been hyped so large the fans knew exactly what they were going to get. With a former GAMMA title challenger in Sabonis in the main even you know you’re going to be in for a treat and the fans were not left disappointed with this one, as it picked up the Fight of the Night award (sponsored by HGH Nutrients). Sabonis truly didn’t disappoint fans expectations of him in this one as he dominated Mang for the majority of the 2 rounds this fight saw before Sabonis emerged winner by TKO. In the first round Sabonis pilled on pressure to Lobsta Mang and went on to cut him halfway through but the heart of Mong kept the fight alive. The second round was a similar story but Mang could do nothing to hold off the former-GAMMA fighter. Sabonis finished the fight in style – after cutting Mang open – with a big right hand, which sent the Mang down before Arvydas jumped down to finish him off and force the official to call a half to the bout. Post -fight Mang demanded a rematch and it’ll be interesting to see if this will be granted at any point in the future, but for now, I think you can safely say it’s Sabonis’ time to shine. Light Heavyweight Title Match-up *Champion* Jamalski Ramirezovic (23-21-0) vs Gegard Mousasi (29-6-1) The second championship bout on the card was in the Light Heavyweight division (~205lbs) and was the main topic of talk from the fans coming into the arena on Saturday night with the Champion Jamalski Ramirezovic And after the event was over this bout was one of the main talking points of the fans on the way out as well and for all of the right reasons. Many expected the champion to retain and control the fight but those thoughts were put to bed when in under 30 seconds Mousasi had cut open the head of the champ and was pressing hard causing damage. With blood still flowing from the cut, the champ made it to the interval but barely as Mousasi had controlled the whole first round. The second round continued in a similar vein and Mousasi continued to control the fight well both while stood up and on the ground. With just over a minute to go Mousasi scored a takedown and all he needed was 30 seconds to work the position, getting slightly loose and positioning for a triangle which the champ should’ve defended but didn’t. This cost him the title and gave the win to Mousasi in what was one of the sloppiest title losses I’ve seen in all of Forbidden Violence’s history to end a solid bout. Main Card Mirko "The Angel Of Death" McCracken (17-8) vs Vinícius "Pontão" Cavalcante (22-3) Pure domination is only what Vinícius "Pontão" Cavalcante’s performance can be described as, when the Super Heavyweight beast ripped Mirko McCraken – a formidable opponent on most days in his own right – to shreds within the opening minute of the first round. McCracken was attacked from the offset and never had a chance of getting into the bout before being knocked-out by Cavalcante with one hell of a head kick that could put any man down no matter the size and was very deserving of KO of the night (which it was awarded). Cavalcante controlled the fight landing kick and big kick to the so called “Angel of Death”. Off the bat Cavalcante had knocked McCracken down with a big head kick that also cut McCracken wide open. Seconds later it happened again, this time with a big uppercut from Cavalcante sending McCracken rocked and falling to the canvas. After waving him up a second time, Cavalcante finally put McCracken down with the same headkick that had knocked him down first time to take the victory. It was one minute of pure intensity and destruction and it puts "Pontão" on the map here for good in Forbidden Violence. "Kamikaze" Yoshiro Gomi (19-18) vs "Quick Popper" Orville Redenbacher (36-13-1) Gomi vs Redenbacher was a solid fight for the most part Saturday night that kept the fans engaged for its entirety but it really got going in the third round. After two rounds, which everybody in the arena knew the judges will have scored a round a piece for the two evenly match combatant, both corners knew they were coming into the third round with everything to fight for. And fight they did, while the first two rounds were of decent quality the last was a show stealer. Both “Kamikaze” and “Quick Popper” left it all on the line but it was “QuickPopper” that edged the decision when the final bell rang, taking the fight 29:28 on all three judges’ score cards. The fight was definely won in that last round as Redenbacher busted open Gomi before leaving him on his last legs with seconds to go with a strong left hand. Gomi will be gutted he couldn’t pull it off in the last round but it was a well-deserved victory for Orville Redenbacher and the fans let him know it post fight! DeAngelo Suggs (9-3) vs Charles "The Hand Grenade" Handly (26-18) DeAngelo Suggs took a strong win over Charles Handly on Saturday night by TKO in the second round in a fight that many fans saw the veteran Handly as favourite in. Suggs dominated the first round, with the exception of giving up a takedown but quickly worked his way back to feet and controlled. The second round saw a solid striking display from Suggs as he laid shot after shot on Handly and eventually got the breakthrough when Handly (seemingly dazed) in an act of desperation threw a wild shot at Suggs that Suggs countered with a huge uppercut. The uppercut send “The Hand Grenade” exploding to the mat as Suggs followed him down landing a good couple more shots before the referee could jump between and call a halt to the bout. Lightweight Title Fight *Champion* "Stallion" Johann Joensen (37-26) vs Ring Vinayagamoorthy (5-6) After the last fight these two men had at FV Midweek #4, the fans expected another phenomenal, closely contested war and that is exactly what they got. This fight ended up even more controversial than the first with it resulting in a draw, although the draw was seemingly the right result (although chants of one more round broke out before the decision was announced), it wasn’t until the scoring of the fight was revealed that the controversy began. Judge A scored the victory for the “Stalion” 48:47, Judge B went draw 48:48, while Judge C gave extremely questionable scoring of 46:49 in favour of the challenger. The reigning champion, Johann Joensen , was very quick to comment in his post-fight saying “I want to know what that third judge was smoking? Awarding a 46:49? King you need to get him checked under the drug testing policy as that crazy fool was clearly on something.” It’ll be interesting to see if the champions comments draw any response from Frank King in defence of his judges but one thing is for sure, as confirmed by the owner, Joensen vs Vinayagamoorthy will happen in the future, just it won’t be the champs next match-up. Under Card Ford "The Alien" Prefect (18-14) vs Mark "Mean Streak" Tanner (16-14) A fight that saw the majority of the action on the ground may not have been the highlight of most fans nights but was a solid, technical bout none the less. It also featured combined 17 submission attempts from the two men, of which only two were in the second round and only one was needed to grab Mark Tanner the victory by Armbar (Submission). It was sloppy from “The Alien” following a failed submission attempt on Tanner of his own to allow Tanner to get the space to set it up but once that armbar was on the only way it was coming off was by Prefects tapping. "Cowboy" Jon Monroe (17-10-1) vs Marlon "The Predator" Worthy (25-17-0) Monroe vs Worth was a fight that had the fans interest for its entirety and deservedly so. These two men performed superbly on Saturday night and both men wanted to finish the other. The finish came when a blood soaked Monroe (from an earlier cut) took a good right hook to the temple leaving him dazed and Worthy wasted no time, showing his “Predator” instinct in following up and delivering several vicious strikes as Monroe fell to the ground. “The Predator” took the very impressive TKO win in his stride very humbly and spent more time thanking his fans than looking over the fight post-fight. Wensink (5-4) vs Sonnen (19-15) A last minute addition to the card didn’t disappoint in entertaining the fans as this fight was an exciting contest. Sonnen got the takedown (as most suspected he’d go for) and proceeded to punish Wensink on the ground. The victory finally came for Sonnen (by TKO strikes) when he landed a big left than that left Wensink without the ability to defend himself sensibly and Sonnen made him pay with 3 more big strikes before the official stepped in. The Steel Penn Alliance (5-10) vs Cletus "The All American" White (15-16) These two men just cannot buy a win at the moment and there was no separating Penn Alliance and Cletus White when they met this past Saturday. The fight went the full three round distance and resulted in a draw after the 15minutes were up as the two fighters put on a show for the Las Vegas crowd. The early parts of the fight may have started tentative but by the second and third round these two struggling athletes were going all out for the finish. Hopefully owner and match-maker Frank King will look to book these two for a grudge match to settle a winner. Who would’ve bet that this card would’ve produced two draws. An impressive event once again from Forbidden Violence, scoring a 338 on the MMA Tycoon scoring system. This will definitely be helped by the main event and both of the title matches – particularly Joensen vs Ring in that spectacular draw. 20. Sisu Fights #23: WER versus KEIJO REVIEW written by Furious Styles JUNE 7, 2014 SUOMI INTERNATIONAL, HELSINKI 19,500 ATTENDANCE Greetings cool folks, I hope all of you are well and you enjoyed the battles that unfolded this past Saturday in the Suomi International Arena! What a tremendous night of action where the majority of the fights ended in a knockout, which obviously provided a great deal of excitement for all who were able to witness what transpired in the cage! So without further ado, let’s get down to business! MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP BATTLE: LUCA “SCRAPATUTTI” TURILLI (22-13-1) of THE STEEL PENN ALLIANCE versus CORMAC GUTZ (19-6-2) of the FINNFIGHTERS This Middleweight Championship battle had all the makings of being a very explosive, hard-hitting, savage affair and the fight did not disappoint at all, well except for perhaps Mr. Turilli of course! Both warriors came prepared for a war and it was a war they engaged in. Since Turilli had the weight advantage for this title defense, I was under the impression that he would try to utilize that by pressing his weight against Gutz by clinching with him. In the opening round, Turilli confirmed my beliefs by doing just that, locking Gutz into a clinch and pressing his weight against him. Prior to that, Turilli tested Gutz’s chin with a couple of very solid punches, one being a snapping right hook and the other a strong left uppercut, but Gutz took them in stride. Gutz caught Turilli with a quick right kick to the left temple but Turilli barely acknowledged it. Turilli slowed Gutz with vicious knees to the stomach but Gutz was able to gut it out until the end of the round, no pun intended. Gutz opened a cut above Turilli’s right eye with a stinging left cross that slowed Turilli just a bit, but he finished the round strongly. Round 2 was completely different for both men, especially Turilli, because Gutz took the fight to the ground and as soon as he did, Gutz went to work to better his position while landing sporadic ground-and-pound! As best as he could, Turilli fought off the transitions that Gutz attempted but Gutz was too slippery a customer and once he maneuvered his way into full mount, the beginning of the end was nigh! Turilli defended and tried to control Gutz as best as he could, but he just couldn’t overcome the tremendous velocity in which Gutz was landing the brutal and crushing fists and elbows! Gutz literally pounded Turilli’s face into a bloody mess and the doctor in attendance called a stop to the fight because Turilli simply couldn’t see clearly and was in obvious trouble! Gutz became the NEW MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION and took a little snipe at Turilli with a comment about him failing as the counter takedown king! WELTEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP BATTLE: FLO “POWER” WER (23-7) of GRABTHE.INFO versus "PELTOSAAREN TEURASTAJA” BRUTAALI KEIJO (25-16-2) of the FINNFIGHTERS As I emphasized in my preview of this battle, don’t underestimate Wer simply by the way he looks! I don’t believe Keijo underestimated him at all because he’s been involved in far too many battles, but I think Wer opened the eyes of a few disbelievers because Keijo is known to have a very solid chin, but Wer took it to that chin and the result was shocking for some! Keijo put Wer into trouble a bit early when he was able to pin him against the cage and land some hard shots, but Wer kept calm, relied upon his defensive skills, and was able to overcome the early onslaught! Wer woke up after that and begin to let his hands loose, scoring a few strong punches that kept Keijo at bay. Wer later took the fight to the ground where we witnessed Keijo unleash pretty much every submission move he knows, and they were in a fast succession on top of that! Wer not only avoided being locked into a submission hold, but he was able to control the positioning on the ground and moved himself into full mount where he blasted Keijo with some brutal ground-and-pound! The 2nd round was a standup contest that the crowd loved because both men simply went for it! Trading thudding punches and kicks, both men displayed excellent technique with their fighting as well as their defense and footwork, and those skills were greatly appreciated. Keijo was the first to draw blood with a lightning fast right cross that sliced open a cut above Wer’s left eye. After trading more strikes it was Wer who cut Keijo above his right eye with a flashing left head kick that Keijo didn’t expect. After a bit of action, Wer positioned himself beautifully for a dynamite left cross that rocked Keijo’s skull and jaw with vicious impact! Keijo tried to hold on but Wer was all over him and the referee had to step in! Wer successfully DEFENDED THE WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! FEATHERWEIGHT OLMYPIC BATTLE: “THE BLOND” KATSU HIGASHIKUNI (29-16-1) of the FINNFIGHTERS versus SEBASTIEN “SNAKE OUT OF GOTHENBURG” LINNE (36-18) Higashikuni wanted to take this fight the ground as soon as possible while Linne wanted to keep it standing so he could use his size advantage better. Since both of these warriors are seasoned veterans, imposing their will upon the other was the real key in this fight, and it was the spry and more youthful Higashikuni who was able to do so in the end, but he definitely had to work for it! Round 1 was all about the energetic output by Higashikuni and Linne was surprisingly a bit too methodical, opting to look for counter-attacks. He was able to land a counter leg kick but Higashikuni was able to drag him down to the mat and once down there, Higashikuni was able to land some painful and brutal ground-and-pound that made Linne look like the mat was the very last place he wanted to be! Linne used his great wrestling technique to get out of trouble and take Higashikuni’s back, but he wasn’t able to take advantage of that situation fully, though he did score vital points with his own ground-and-pound from the back position. Round 2 saw Linne demonstrate his ability to be dangerous at any given point in time! Higashikuni was able to land effective punches and kicks due to his energy level but Linne was patiently waiting and timing his counter attacks until he unloaded a wicked right head kick that nearly took Higashikuni off of his feet! Linne opted to let Higashikuni stand up and this may have proven to be the turning point of the fight! Higashikuni was sliced open above his left eye from that kick but to his credit, he was able to gather himself quickly, get back to his feet, and locked Linne into a clinch that allowed him to regain his senses and eventually take the fight back to the ground with a counter takedown. Honestly, either fighter could have won that round but many felt Linne won it with the knockdown. The final round saw both men stand toe-to-toe and let it all hang out, much to the delight of those in attendance! Personally I thought that was a very risky move on Higashikuni’s behalf because of the knockdown, as well as Linne’s obvious height advantage, but Higashikuni would not be denied. Surprisingly, Linne attempted a takedown of his own when the fighters went into a clinch due to positioning, but Linne denied multiple attempts by Higashikuni to take him down to the mat again. Linne landed some solid shots, but so did Higashikuni, and when the final bell sounded, the judges awarded the UNANIMOUS DECISION VICTORY to Higashikuni! HEAVYWEIGHT BATTLE: “TEDDY BEAR” KEVIN LOCKLEY (31-14) of MURDER INC. versus JUAN “CHACAL” VELASQUEZ (18-5) of THE GOONIES As outlined in my preview, this fight was going to end in a knockout and sure enough, I nailed it right on the money, much to the happiness of the crowd in attendance! Both men bled, bruised and battered their way to a first round finish, and it was Velasquez who stood victorious once all the dust settled! Velasquez drew first blood with a right hook that, despite being partially blocked, blasted Lockley’s skull enough to cut him open above his left eye! Shortly afterward, Lockley returned the favor with a powerful right hook of his own that sliced open a cut above Velasquez’s left eye! After that, both men put forth a lot of effort, especially Lockley, and both fighters struggled to land more clean shots, a credit to each of their defensive abilities! The back-and-forth action continued until Velasquez was able take advantage of Lockley getting into an odd position momentarily by tagging Lockley with a vicious one-two combo! Velasquez allowed Lockley to get back to his feet and Lockley immediately attempted to respond with a combo of his own that he missed! Velasquez allowed Lockley to swing and miss a few more times then he rocked Lockley again with a thunderous right uppercut! Lockley managed to get back to his feet, though he was unstable, and Velasquez ended the punishment with a brutal right hook that turned out Lockley’s lights! Velasquez won this battle by KNOCKOUT! FEATHERWEIGHT BATTLE: UMBERTO SOTTO JR. (15-9) of the FINNFIGHTERS versus “NIGHTSTALKER” RICARDO RAMIREZ (23-15) of the FINNFIGHTERS With their fellow FinnFighter Alliance mates watching, these two combatants went for it the entire three rounds, which drew a lot of respect for each man, and it was Sotto Jr. who was able to outpoint the game Ramirez and, as a result, he got to give him a bit of verbal grief when they left the cage and were speaking with other FinnFighter mates! Sotto Jr. set the tone very early by planting a nice solid left cross above Ramirez’s right eye and cutting him right above it! That seemed to inspire Sotto Jr. and he started to let his educated hands fly, pressing the action on Ramirez then positioning himself to land more effective punches, but Ramirez slowed his flow just a bit by locking him a in a clinch. Otto Jr. adopted quickly to that close quarters and took Ramirez to the ground where Ramirez was a man possessed in trying to land the submission finish! Sotto Jr. was able to avoid being tapped out and finished the round ahead on the cards. Round 2 became a ground affair with Ramirez still doing his best to make Sotto Jr. tap while Sotto Jr. did his best to avoid being locked into any painful submission holds and also fighting to maintain solid positioning on the ground. It’s argumentative who won the 2nd round because Ramirez was definitely the aggressor, but since he wasn’t able to successfully lock in any of his numerous attempts, does that translate to him not effectively winning the round? Round 3 was very much the same as Round 2, with Sotto Jr. landing effective punches and Ramirez taking the fight to the ground and attempting numerous submission holds. Again, which way the round was scored really relied upon the judges’ perspectives, obviously, so that makes it difficult. In the end, it was Sotto Jr. who was awarded the victory by UNANIMOUS DECISION! LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT BATTLE: MOACYR DOMINGOS DE MATOS (38-18-2) of the FINNFIGHTERS versus MARKO TURTURO (37-17-4) of the EVOLUTION FIGHT CLAN A struggle between two knowledgeable and capable veterans is what we witnessed in this contest! Much to my surprise, both of these warriors elected to keep this fight standing, and that worked in Turturo’s favor in the end, but it didn’t appear that way when the fight began! In Round 1, both men traded aesthetically pleasing techniques that impressed the crowd, and as the round wore on, it was Matos who was able to not only land cleaner, more concise strikes, but he was also the more effective counter-attacker, though both were successful with their counter-attacks. Matos finished the round very well and won the opening round in my opinion. Round 2 was a reversal of roles as it was Turturo who poured on the pressure and the strength by landing painful strikes, especially leg kicks, that obviously slowed Matos and caused him to be slightly hesitant, though he was still very effective with counter-strikes and overall striking. Both warriors showed their tremendous defensive ability by avoiding any serious damage, but Turturo distanced himself by landing the more painful strikes at the most opportune times! The final round saw both men just unload on each other with brutal, savage strikes and some of the leg kicks made the crowd groan because it was apparent that they did their damage! In a battle of wills at this point, it was Turturo who dug down deep and was able to push through the pain and pounding to land the one shot that spelled the beginning of the end for Matos! The left jab that started the downfall wasn’t filled with TNT, but it had enough behind it to daze Matos and set him up for a jaw-crunching right cross that floored Matos! He did his best to fend for himself but Turturo was all over him and the ref had no choice but to step in and stop it! Turturo won this battle by TECHNICAL KNOCKOUT! LIGHTWEIGHT BATTLE: FELIX SANDOVAL (15-5) of the FINNFIGHTERS versus “CHERRY POPPER” DOCTOR GREENTHUMB (19-8) I was under the impression that this fight would end with a submission, and boy was I wrong! The fight did end on the ground so I was halfway there, but it was ended brutally with a damaging ground-and-pound attack by Greenthumb, who again, with last name like that, sounds like an individual who would be into more…organic partaking’s than being a mixed martial artist who calls himself a “Cherry Popper”. Well, Greenthumb made pretty quick work of Sandoval, and that was surprising to me because Sandoval has shown a very good ability to finish opponents on the ground as well! In a nutshell, Greenthumb locked Sandoval into a clinch, took him to the ground, withstood early ground-and-pound from Sandoval when he beautifully reversed positions and moved into full guard, turned the tables on Sandoval and went into mount, then finished Sandoval with savage ground-and-pound! Greenthumb won this battle by TECHNICAL KNOCKOUT and I was informed that after this fight, Sandoval and his management team mutually agreed to go their separate ways and he is now a Free Agent. I’m certain there’s another management team that will be willing to work with him because he has a lot of fight left in him! HEAVYWEIGHT BATTLE: BILLY KINCAID (26-20) versus ART “THE ARCHITECT” VANDALAY (29-10) of VALHALLA What we witnessed here was a straight up, hardcore, toe-to-toe, standup war! Talk about two warriors testing the ability of the other to take it as well as he could deliver it! The crowd loved it, the corners for both men didn’t like it as much because of the damage each one took, but it was all very well worth it because it was a beautiful, bloody brawl! I just made myself sound like I have blood lust, didn’t I? Kincaid drew first blood with a rapid-fire left jab that cut Vandalay above his right eye! Vandalay, always one who believes in an eye for an eye, or a cut for a cut in this case, returned the favor with a brutal one-two combo that floored Kincaid and cut him above his left eye! Vandalay let Kincaid get back to his feet and they were right back at it again! Nearly 2 minutes after that knockdown, Kincaid saw himself staring up at the ceiling again as a result of a shocking right cross! To his credit, Kincaid got back to his feet and kept on fighting! Round 2 was defined by a crushing left head kick and a devastating right uppercut delivered by Vandalay and absorbed by Kincaid! Kincaid has the constitution of a vending machine because he just kept taking the punishment, getting up and asking for more! The crowd showed their appreciation of his heart and his desire to battle! In the 3rd Round, Vandalay and Kincaid traded excellent standup techniques, both offensive and defensive, but it was Vandalay again who floored Kincaid with another solid right cross and he leapt on Kincaid’s back when he hit the mat! Vandalay let his fists fly and the ref had to stop the right, giving the TECHNICAL KNOCKOUT VICTORY to Vandalay! LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT BATTLE: GIAMPAOLO PIETRAVALLO (11-3) of the EVOLUTION FIGHT CLAN versus JUMMI JAMMI (12-8) of the DIRTY OLD COCKSMEN I like it when a fighter makes me look good by following what I predicted for them, and Pietravallo did exactly that by taking this fight to the ground repeatedly and keeping a hold of the talented Jammi long enough to earn the victory, but Jammi didn’t just lay down, that’s for sure! Jammi put up one hell of a defensive standing at certain times, gained the position advantage at others, and when the fight was standing, he was able to land effective strikes that kept Pietravallo at bay. Unfortunately for Jammi, he wasn’t able to keep Pietravallo off of him for very long at any point during the fight, and wasn’t able to take advantage of great positioning on the ground and near the end of the third round, he executed a beautiful sweep to gain full mount but wasn’t able to finish Pietravallo there! Pietravallo even gave Jammi his back and Jammi wasn’t able to lock in the rear naked choke, much to the chagrin of his fans. Pietravallo earned the UNANIMOUS DECISION VICTORY and was grateful in doing so! HEAVYWEIGHT BATTLE: “THE PHENOM” CAIN MARKO (39-22) of VC-13 versus JOSE SALCEDO (29-19) Once again another great fighter makes me look good by following through with what I predicted, so I have to thank Marko for that! Yes it was obvious that he should use his great height advantage, I get it, but still, it’s what I predicted so I’m going with that. Both warriors bled in this one, to no surprise, since they both possess great punching power and educated fists! Salcedo drew first blood with a nasty left jab that sliced Marko above his right eye. Marko returned the favor with a savage left head kick that cut Salcedo above his right eye. Near the end of the round, Salcedo took the fight to the ground which was a bit of a surprise to some in attendance. In Round 2, Salcedo felt he had something with the takedown in Round 1 so he attempted to take the fight to the ground in this round also, but Marko wasn’t having any of it! After Salcedo failed with more strikes, Marko timed a counter-right cross perfectly and devastated Salcedo’s jaw! Salcedo leaned against the cage and Marko continued the onslaught until the ref stepped in! Marko earned the TECHNICAL KNOCKOUT VICTORY! Well cool kids, that’s my time and that’s the conclusion of this review! As always I appreciate you taking the time to join me for this review and I hope you enjoyed all the action that unfolded this past weekend. Stay tuned for more great action that’s fast approaching and I’ll cover that action in my next preview. Take care, be well…and I’ll see you at the fights!

  21. intell is low on the hierarchy, so he if intell shows he has less then a solid chin and doesn't have power high enough to read on ToTT or doesn't have strength and punches high enough yet to show KO power The Hierarchy has nothing to do with actual hidden value, meaning if solid chin is higher on the hierarchy then intell then the lowest solid chin will cover the highest IQ every time. Example say solid chin is 130 or better and intell shows at 130 or better, a 130 chin will show solid over a 150 intell hidden. That being said, he could have a 129 chin (based off what I said above for values to make them show on ToTT) and could also have all hiddens above intell just 1 point under what it takes for them to show. Thus only his intell shows cause it's the hidden that is high enough to show skill wise and is the highest one that has enough points in that hidden to show.

  22. Yes, in fact, there is such a thing of "degrees of losing" in sports that are judged; that is the entire point of fights being judged. Someone who loses by split decision by showing great skill is judged to have performed better than someone who loses by TKO less than a minute into the first round. This is real life, not Mortal Kombat or Mike Tyson's Punch Out. There is no ladder system where Gus falls down to #10 and has to fight his way through Soda Popinski, Dan Henderson and whomever to get a rematch with Jon Jones. He gets a rematch because he had an awesome fight with Jones, put Jones in the hospital and was promised a rematch by Jon Jones himself in September 2013.

  26. The first HFC event is in the books and if you are a fan of quick finishes then this event was for you. Three fights lasted less than 30 seconds and only four fights made it past the three minute mark. Before I get into the action I want to inform you all that at the end of this review I will tell you the winners of the bonuses. Let’s get started. Cross vs Perruzi: This was a very odd fight to me. Early on it appeared that Cross was not sure exactly what he wanted to do as he went from clinch to takedown and then standing back up. Eventually his mind appeared made up and he went to the clinch and proceeded to dominate the fight. Perruzi also baffled me a little in this fight. While not being know for his wrestling he continuously tried, and failed, to take the fight to the ground. Perhaps he thought it was where he matched up best. In the end the only thing that did not confuse me about this fight was the way it was scored with Cross winning all cards 30:27. It is hard to tell exactly what is next for either of these fighters but with 145 being very thin at the moment Cross has put himself in a good spot to make a claim for the winner of next weeks title fight. Trzcinski vs Bowman: Not a lot to write about this one as Trzcinski came out aggressive and never even let the bjj fighter have a chance to take the fight to the ground. It only took 17 seconds for this one to be stopped and Trzcinski certainly made some people take notice. A fight against Skarstad seems to make a lot of sense for Trzcinski after this one and we will see if he has a quick turnaround after suffering no damage. Boy vs Obelix: First let me give huge credit to Obelix for managing to make it to the third round in this fight. This wasn’t the fight Boy wanted but since his original opponent wanted nothing to do with him Obelix stepped up. In the end though, Boy was way too much for him to handle. Boy’s skills were on display everywhere in this fight. Obelix was rocked early in the fight but was able to recover. Unfortunately he was never able to mount any kind of offense. Boy finished the fight in the third with a nasty looking superman punch that turned the lights out on Obelix. Boy looked good, very good, and will no doubt see top competition in his next fight, if not a title fight. Churchill vs Barun: This fight was certainly far more competitive than anything else on the card up to this point. Churchill was clearly the better range striker as he picked Barun apart and nearly finished him in the first. After that, however, Barun started to find success when he went to the clinch. The problem was that Barun did not feel content to stay in the clinch where he had the advantage. Barun also did a good job scoring on leg kicks. In the end both fighters showed some skills and Churchill looks as if he can strike with the best. Churchill may find himself on the short list for a title fight with this win. Tugbajev vs Orlov: Not a lot to report here. Tugbajev got it to the ground and dominated from there. Orlov had no chance at offense in this fight so what he can do will remain a mystery for another time and Tugbajev will likely see a title fight very soon. Sunday vs Sanchez: Well it was no mystery what each fighter wanted to accomplish in this fight. Sunday tried to keep it standing and Sanchez wanted to be on the mat. Sunday fended off all of Sanchez's attempts in the first but Sanchez managed to get him to the ground in the second. This led us to the third in a clear 29:29 situation. It ended up being Sunday who managed to have his way in the third and with a weak 135 lb division Sunday now finds himself near the top. Skalny vs Jackman: This fight was fast and action packed. Jackman looked to be in trouble right out of the gate when Skalny landed a combo that left Jackman cut. Not losing his composure Jackman scored a takedown and went to work with ground and pound. A huge hammer fist left Skalny out and Jackman with a huge win. Frederiksen vs Force: This fight ended in the blink of an eye. Force came out and tried to score the takedown. After a failed attempt Frederiksen caught him with the only punch he truely needed to throw in the fight as Force went down and after a few more shots that were not really needed the ref jumped in. Frederiksen did not need much energy to win this fight so it will be interesting to see if he enters the cage again very soon. Eastwood vs Noro: With the 205 title being decided in the fight that would follow both fighters may have been looking to get noticed in this fight. Eastwood did just that. Noro had a moment of success in the clinch but after his corner called for him to release it Eastwood never looked back. Dodging everything Noro threw Eastwood rocked him before finishing with a big right cross. Eastwood put his name in title contention with this impressive performance. Stromberg vs Vidal: We knew that Stromberg would need a miracle to get past Vidal but he did not help his cause with the early takedown. Once on the ground Vidal was immediately able to lock in a triangle and put the first HFC title around his waist. It is hard to see who will be Vidal's next opponent but early indications would be Eastwood if he is up for it.

  31. Time for the UFC to move away from both of these guys and TRT users in general. Neither Silva or Sonnen will ever be a contender again or even a gatekeeper. No sense in letting these guys make the sport look bad because they cheat to try and stay competitive.

  34. Cottonfloss Reflects #1 Hello NGF fans and mma enthusiasts. Lots of exciting action has occurred here at NGF since that dude no one ever heard of…oh wait, that’s me…arrived as new owner of NGF on May 16. We know I have had to do some work so as to be sure to build a rapport with the wonderful managers that steer their fighters to NGF, but let’s reflect a little on what has been going on in the cage in St. Petersburg. NGF 139 saw Khalid Hayes, who in March after beating Bobby Lee Daniels called out for Styles, overcome Renato and come out of this dominating decision victory wanting a shot at Scotty Bennet. Hayes next fight is not BLD, Styles, or Bennet. While BLD waits to exact revenge on Hayes in the expected rematch for the belt, Hayes will be featured in the top LHW fight not part of the Olympics going to Synchronicity to face Light Diode. Hayes, who recently proved that “even gods can bleed,” will be looking to prove that even Diode can lose. Shavo Odin avenged a March 8th title loss to Kalashnikov securing the belt, only to ride off to new challenges due to the brief period of uncertainty regarding NGF’s future. Meanwhile, Retale’s 29:28 decision win completed his ascension to being offered a title fight against a big name foe he has previously defeated: Andrzej Gajewski. Anthony Brown secured himself a shot to reclaim heavyweight belt he once possessed by opening up a cut on Tobias Larsson that forced the doctor to stop their fight NGF 140 fight. Torhammer continued his smooth transition to lightweight with a unanimous decision victory over Martin Louis. Jay Jay Mutumbo secured his third straight decision victory and defending the belt he just earned on April 26th. Johnny Fantastic has fared extremely well since arriving at NGF and continued his dominance with a NGF 141 welterweight title fight win over Linkin Portier. Portier, however, still has not been knocked out in any fight under contract with an org. A Bobby Lee Daniels hungry for a title rematch with Hayes, was able to secure a fourth round TKO victory over Tiyaro Feitsora. Perhaps not so quietly considering who his manager is, Daken Akihiro continued to climb up the ranks with a TKO of Tyson Blaze. As was the case with NGF 141, NGF 142 featured four submission victories. The main event and co-main event had KazanSamboCenter rocking as both featured KO wins. In the main event, although he was cut early in the first round, Bjorn Helgi secured the KO 11 seconds into the third round. Miguel Camacho ended his two fight losing streak with a TKO of Tommy Victorio that helped lead to Victorio and his manager parting ways. In NGF 143, Eric Lynch decided not to go to decision earning his first KO victory, a TKO secured on the ground in the second round, since October 5, 2013. King Kenny got his fourth win in his past five fights by quickly capitalizing on worsening the cut in the second round that he initially opened on Alekseev in the first round. With just seconds left in the first round, Vieri took the belt away from Quintana with an impressive show of ground strikes. Vieri has already confirmed a title defense against Henrik Torhammer coming up at NGF 148 on July 4th. The upcoming NGF 144 and NGF 145 will be ventures into the land of PPV. NGF 144 has its own complete preview with questions pertaining to each fight that make up this card in a perhaps ambitious attempt to see Wombley Arena in London rocking. That’s it for me. If you don’t got the money to travel, enjoy NGF 144 on pay-per-view. Rogelio Cottonfloss

  37. NGF 144 Kalashnikov vs Brown – Vacant Heavyweight Title Wombley Arena London Jun 11 2014 265lb Title Fight Kalashnikov vs A. Brown The first venture into London features the crowning of a "new" Heavyweight champion. Kalashnikov is a familiar face tying Sam Winchester for second in NGF Heavyweight title defenses to Wei Pei. Kalashnikov, despite coming off a title fight loss, has the chance to move into sole possession of second in NGF heavyweight title fight wins. To do so, however, he will have to defeat another former NGF belt holder, Anthony Brown. Brown has had a recent change of style opting to return to going for finishes as opposed to gutting out decision victories. With Kalashnikov coming off a TKO loss, will Brown let it all fly or will he think twice in light of 21 of Kalashnikov's 22 victories coming by way of knockout? 265lb The One Armed Man vs I. Brown Irving Brown 19-7 16 KOs (3-2 NGF) of the Antidote camp in New York not only surprised some by choosing to stay and fight out the rest of his contract, but he agreed to take a fight against Cornell Cage Fighting's Joe the One Armed Man to help make NGFs first venture into Wombley Arena a smash hit. Joe "Blow" seems to be a streaky fighter but coming into the fight on a four fight win streak is hungry for a win. Will Irving Brown do NGF proud by beating his Australian foe? 185lb Murcielago vs Escobar Escobar coming in with seven NGF wins in ten tries will have a lot of confidence going into this fight. Both Murcielago and Escobar have championship bout losses to former NGF Middleweight champion Musashi Kato. Murcielago has not quite yet regained the form he had going into his battle with Kato, but knows that a win against Escobar could be what the doctor ordered to help turn his NGF career around. Will Escobar be able to give Murcielago his second KO loss or has Murcielago learned enough to pull off the decision win? 185lb D. Brown vs Oh Dongmin Oh comes into the fight on a cold streak of sorts dropping five of his last six fights. Danny Brown is the fighter who has most recently had the honor of facing Tyler Richards. Oh, however, is an NGF mainstay that himself once held the belt. Will Brown's hunger to stay in contention to hopefully get a shot against Richards again help him key in on this fight or will Brown leave an opening for Oh to pull out his second W in 2014? 185lb Rakhmanov vs Jebut Both Rakhmanov and Jebut come into the fight with 6 NGF wins and a win to avenge a loss that preceded such a win. There is interest regarding whether these two Russian based fighters will relish fighting in London or night. Jebut is quite effective at winning fights that go the distance securing victories in eight of the nine decisions he has been involved in. Will Rakhmanov, whose last four losses have been by decision, come into the fight looking for a finish? 265lb Engineer vs Helmer NGF 144 will be Engineer's 19th fight with NGF. To pick up his twelfth NGF victory, Engineer will have to overcome the vastly experienced and crazy Helmer. Although Engineer has only been subbed once, Helmer will likely look to do some work on the ground. Helmer has shown himself quite susceptible to knockouts and Engineer is most certain to have that knowledge in his mind as he enters this fight. Will Helmer be able to take the fight to the ground and secure a win or will the ground he see be his face hitting the canvas? 185lb Roy vs Kessler Lucas Roy is one of the few lads that came over from Las Vegas Contenders that didn't get cut shortly after. Roy's first opponent has been fighting in NGF since April 2013. Kessler has got to love his chances in this fight, but Roy is most certainly hoping to shock in front of the packed Wombley Arena. Will Roy walk away satisfied with his NGF debut or will Kessler leave him on a three fight losing streak? 145lb Jackson vs Ponce De Leon Ponce De Leon faces off against the younger, but more experienced, Jackson. To secure his seventh victory, Ponce De Leon has to beat a foe that went five rounds with Andrzej Gajewski and was a long-time belt-holder at INY. Another note of interest is the working relationship the managers of these two fighters have. Will the vast fight experience of Jackson be a deterrent to Ponce De Leon's quick ascension to prominence or will Ponce De Leon pull off a big win on PPV? 185lb Rook vs Game Rook answered a four fight losing streak with three wins including his first win by submission. Game usually looks to take a fight to decision and secure the win taking eight of the nine decisions he has been involved in. Rook himself is no stranger to decisions either with nine wins out of twelve decisions. Will both of these fighters attempt to take the fight the distance trying to make the case for the decision win or will one fighter go for the finish? 145lb Tyson vs Meduza Meldrick Tyson, possibly in his last fight at NGF, faces Fredrik Meduza. Meduza is 2-1 in NGF having secured two decision victories including one by majority decision. Tyson only secured one win since coming over to NGF and now finds himself under new management. Will Meduza effectively end Tyson's NGF career or will new management inspire Tyson to get a W and have a serious decision to make about renegotiating with NGF?

  41. Typical American, needs a war so starts one, then after a few unexpected casualties can't quite remember or explain why they are at war in the first place. The Scholars and Corporation have been at each other's throats for months, there is a festering under current of Man-love, err hate! Numerous insults have been exchanged and now it's on. given how popular you Convicted boys are, being such a humble group of young men, I sincerely doubt anyone would have reason to make war with you. though I would give the CBK a call, Active Cereal Bar has a war room, it's basically him typing seriously scary words in between times when his mom doesn't know he has switched the parent controls off on his laptop. So if you Alpha male killers want a war, look no further than these clowns. Alternatively, in keeping with your American military doctrine you could just beat the shit out of each other and call your card , under Friendly Fire.

I knew it was going to be a tough fight tonight, The Can is extremely explosive and I can tell you that from my own experiences. I want to say good luck to The Can as he should be moving on to the finals at the end of the season. Hopefully I will be able to join him there but I'll need to pick up a couple of wins before this season ends."

  43. Gus was beaten by Jones 2 fights ago. And your argument just doesn't make sense. http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2014/3/4/5469476/ufc-jon-jones-daniel-cormier-i-have-no-interest-in-fighting-you Two months ago Jones said he wasn't interested in Cormier because he hasn't fought any top contenders yet. What exactly changed his mind? I said this in the other thread but I highly doubt a win over an aging, cardio-less 1-4 in his last 5 fights and hasn't fought for a UFC title since March of 2008 Dan Henderson victory changed Jones mind about Cormier fighting a top contender. Yet the minute the rematch with Gus comes up, all of a sudden Cormier is the most deserving challenger? That doesn't make any sense.

I've been wanting this fight for a long time, The Can is someone I respect as a fighter, he's had a lot of success during his time on The Island, much like myself. The fans have been calling for this fight since the days where I was the undefeated Chaos Lightweight champion and when he was the undefeated AFL Lightweight champion. I hope this will be a fight the fans will remember for years to come!"

  45. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1363340514Logo01.jpg Syn' 303: Contenders – Preview Live on PPV and at the LA Memorial Colossuseum (capacity: 93,607), LA, California There may not be any title fights on this Synchronicity card but with the quality and calibre of fighters involved you don’t really need one as Synchronicity offers you 10 quality match-ups to get your mouth watering and Championship Press Association shall cover each one in this report sponsored by Championship Clothing. Christian Nolan (23-19) vs Gigant "Big" Silva (22-13) These two men may seem to be a rare bread after the last Syn Pay-Per-View (Syn’302) – in which 9 bouts went to a decision – as they both like to look for a finish no matter the opponent. Nolan has taken 19 finishes, only winning 6 fights by decision, while Silva is very similar and looks to finish his opponent on the ground or feet with 17 finishes, 12 (T)KO’s and 5 Submissions. In their last 8 fights combined, only once has a fight needed the judges’ scorecards and that speaks volumes at this level of competition about the mind set of these competitors. The other thing these two men share in common is firstly an ambition to one day go on to challenge the Heavyweight champion – currently Brick Tires – but also that neither one can maintain a winning streak long enough to impress the match-makers and management of Synchronicity. While neither man has been in poor form, it’s just been a big case of win one lose one for both of these men and they will both be hoping to make a win Saturday night, against the other, part of something bigger. Silva goes into this one as a big underdog and will need all of his determination and heart to get through and make a name for himself, while Nolan will be looking to finish on his feet and out strike the grappler Silva. "Gambler" Bad Idea (27-12-1) vs "mēpisukaryā" Itagaki Fukuzawa (17-4-0) When you talk about two fighters who style and game plan going into most fights is polar opposite, you have to talk about what is likely to be of this match-up between the Georgian Idea and Japan’s Fukuzawa. “Gambler” is just that, a risk taker, who has seen 26 of his fights go to a decision, often fighting for a decision once a fight reaches the 3rd (or 5th during his glory days of being UPG champion). On the other hand you have Fukuzawa who looks to finish where possible, and finish he does in style. Taking 14 wins by (T)KO he is a real powerhouse and take his opponents head off, in his last fight, with Chauncy Silvestre, he finished the fight with a mere 15 seconds left on the clock to the uproar of the Synchronicity fans. Itagaki Fukuzawa does not like leaving a fight in the hands of anybody but himself and that makes him very dangerous to any opponent, and possibly even more so to one like Bad Idea, who likes to control a fight. Idea has the advantage on the ground and may look to capitalize there and take control while holding his opponent but with Fukuzawa in the cage anything could happen if the fight is left standing. The fans are excited to see this one and if Fukuzawa can make it three straight undefeated since his arrival here in Syn! Daniel "Ravishing" Roth (24-11-2) vs "Thor" Eiji Kawashima (31-8) Making his second appearance follow his title fight on his debut in Syn is the “Ravishing” Roth, who will be looking to impress and make a name after a successful stint in – the now defuct – BFE (Brazilian Fight Entertainment). “Thor” on the other hand makes his debut tonight and will look to prove he should be in contention for freshly won title of Yang Tao. Whoever is gunning for the belt that takes a win off this fight may have to go through former champion Sergiy Skylar though as he’ll want to be next in line with a rematch for a belt he feels he should never have lost. There aren’t many fighters more well-rounded out their than Eiji Kawashima but if anybody can stop this man that dominated UPGV at 170lbs, it is the arrogant yet so very charismatic and entertaining, Daniel Roth. Hopefully this fight will be as interesting and as entertaining as Roth’s entrances to the cage but that remains to be seen. One thing to mention is that Roth is the only man out the two to take a submission victory and “Thor” has only ever lost by submission, so could that be the finish we’ll see Saturday night? "MR. NAUGHTY BOY" Mickey McFinnigan (21-11) vs Charles "Grenade" Gunn (25-14-1) Another cross Atlantic war between a Brit, Mickey McFinnigan, and a yank, Charles Gunn. Despite coming from very different places these men are incredibly similar, they’ll both be making their debut in Syn this Saturday, they both have fought at the top level in other top orgs already and both men love to put on a show, collecting 20 “Of The Night” awards between them (McFinnigan with 11, Gunn with 9). These men also love to finish and this is what the fans will be hoping to see Saturday night. One question is over the ground game of Gunn, who is renowned for not having a very strong BJJ training regime but with that being said, he’s never been forced to tap but that could be more down to the fact he’s almost never been taken down. If McFinnigan was able to take Gunn down though, could this spell a world of pain and a first submission loss for the “Grenade”? The fans will hope not as they want to see these two great KO artists slog it out and go to war, for national (and personal) pride. Roderick "The Hammer" Jenkins (14-5) vs Jobe Nkemakolam (35-14) Jamaican Roderick Jenkins will be looking to continue his successful start to life in Synchronicity with a win over a Syn veteran in Jobe Nkemakolam. Nkemaklam will be competing in his 11th fight for the company and respect from “The Hammer” will be clear for a man who needs no nickname but the respect better not play on the mind of Jenkins to long in the cage as Jobe will take full advantage if it does. Both of these guys are on notable win streaks (more because of the level of competition than the amount) with each man looking for their 4th and 3rd respective victory on Saturday night but that’ll be easier said than done and one of these impressive streaks will have to come to an end when they meet in the cage. "The Justice" Mitch Heisenberg (35-13-1) vs Hamid Zaferani (27-17-2) A bout featuring a cardio machine and an explosive animal is what the fans of Syn will be treated too on PPV when “The Justice” Mitch Heisenberg meets Hamid Zaferani at Syn’303. Heisenberg comes into this one off the back of a loss to one of the best in the world in Matt Miller in a title fight for the featherweight title and will be looking to show his name should be around the discussion for that title sometime soon again after his jump from EVO. Zaferani was Sergiy Skylar’s last opponent at 145lbs before he made the jump to 170lbs after Zaferani went the distance with Skylar but was just edged out. This fight is an interesting one as Zaferani holds the edge on his feet but Heisenberg will benefit from the fight going to the ground. The only thing to bear in mind is that “The Justice” has won 21 of 25 decisions his fights have gone to, while Zaferani tends to fade away and has lost more decisions than he has won. Will the cardio of “The Justice” play a factor, Zaferani will certainly look to not allow it too! "Mjöllnir" Njord Freyr (25-11-0) vs "The Hulk" Autumn Hunter (24-9-1) Njord Freyr is a former top 10 p4p fighter in the world who once went on a 10 fight win streak, unfortunately for Freyr those days seems to be behind him now but he still possess a real threat to Autumn Hunter. Hunter is not quite as reputable globally as his opponent but definitely brings a lot to the table as the Syn favourite will look to really bring his A game when he faces his Norwegian born opponent. It is expected this fight will end in a bang with both men loving to finish the fight by (T)KO, between them they have gathered a staggering 39 (T)KO wins, which will leave the fans begging to see this become the 40th as these two heavyweights face off and look to move forward in their aging careers. Buddy "The Faustus" Guy (26-5) vs Mark Sutter (22-16) Compared to the last Syn card (Syn’302) we here at Championship Press Association really fancy the chances of a few finishes in Saturday night’s fights and this one should be one of them. Only 13 fights that these two guys have had out of a combined total of 67 have made it to the judges score card. One thing we may potentially see from Mark Sutter that we don’t see to regularly is a submission finish as he holds such a strong advantage if the fight goes to the ground, it may not be his natural habitat BUT Guy works on keeping the fight standing, not getting it back there, so it may be his best opportunity to grab a win. The fans will want an exciting fight and that’s one thing I will happily predict we should see in this one. "The Flash" Barry Allen (21-11) vs Keke "Hammer" Pummel (23-12) Even at 30 years of age “The Flash” Barry Allen still believes he is not only a great MMA fighter but also the quickest MMA fighter on the planet. He’ll be hoping to finish Pummel in a “Flash” before Keke can build on his momentum from his previous fight – his debut against Indica Jatlier – where he controlled the fight and took a great win. Both these men come off the back of victories into this one, with Allen also coming in having taken strong victory against Holden James. This is an evenly matched fight where either man could take the spoils but Allen is debatably the more popular fight and may have the added factor in his corner of 90,000 shouting fans. Rico "El Chupacabra" Dominguez (24-12-3) vs Chauncey "Nightcrow" Silvestre (31-17-1) If any fight on this card is likely to go the full three rounds and still be entertaining, with a shot at fight of the night, it’s this one. It’s El Chupacabra vs Nightcrow in a clash of featherweight cardio-kings, with both men coming in off the back of losses making this a real make or break fight. Silvestre’s career could’ve been so different if he could’ve just beaten one man, the beast known as Matt Miller. If Silvestre had taken any one of three opportunities to beat Miller he could be one of the biggest stars in the company but now he’s on the back foot facing a man who has never had the opportunity that “Nightcrow” did but Dominguez will be looking to show he does in the future. Synchronicity 303 – Contenders will look to bring you something different from the last Pay-Per-View from the company, as the 9 out of 10 fights that ended in decisions on the last card is highly unlikely to be repeated on this one, with a lot more aggressive guys on this card, who will look to finish on every opportunity. Reaper Combatwear will be sponsoring the event as always and will be providing all clothing and merchandise for the event as well as sponsoring the “Of The Night” awards for the evening which will be very hotly contested! 47. I'm fine with him fighting either. I think both would be great challengers. I just don't like his "it's my career I can pick my own fights" attitude. He took the title shot and won the belt, now take on any and all comers. If it was a matter of wanting more training time, money or something a bit more contractually related I would understand. But every time a fight with Gus gets thrown into the mix all of a sudden he's the UFC LHW match maker and believes everyone else is more deserving. His biased opinion shouldn't decide who deserves the shot.
