  1. Pretty Straightforward, i think someone requested this before, but can we have a subforum just for tournaments so that it will be easier to find them, see whats going on and sign up for new ones. Sort of like rearranging the books in your library... This cant be too hard to make happen

  3. I'm lookin over the island and I notice that Convicted is no where to be found.Obviously they are slider masters who can win regardless of hiddens and builds, yet they never prove it on even terms. It's because they are known to manipulate hype to keep themselves and their fighters at the top and they do the same thing for their managers. I don't need to mention the great lengths Convicted will go to when it comes to winning and hype manipulation. They bitch about rankings and people who don't fight at their acceptable level yet they are nowhere to be found on the island where you get what you get and we are all equal. I was always under the impression that a good manager can make the most of what he is dealt but that might show a chink in the Convicted armor. I expect to see all of you in Island season 3 or I expect all of you to shut your mouths about the game rankings. The Island is a free fighter slot and the only reason you wouldn't take advantage of a free fighter slot is because you are scared to be exposed. This goes for every other so callled "top manager" without an island fighter. For years you talked about how the game should be played but when it comes down to it, you want everyone to play the game your way. It's funny how you all bitch at people for not fighting the fights you think they should fight, but when it comes down to a fight where we all are equal, the entire "#1" alliance is completely missing. How can anybody claim to be #1 or even top 10 when you choose skip the most difficult portion of the game. Yeah, the island will kill your rank, but people with actual balls enter anyway. Man up you cockless rank manipulators, and this goes for the rest of you dick fucks in the other "top" allIiances. Why is it that when you are in a position to give "regular" managers a fair fight you are nowhere to be found? You're fucking frauds... Man up!

  12. Wolf there are plenty of writers here. You would be surprized. I could name 5 right off the top of my head maybe more, and that is not counting the people who have stopped writing because they no longer need to. Those people may come back to writing with an idea like this becasue it could be more lucritive market with a system like this in place.

  13. You read the title right, Frank Rizzo is a bitch. He ducked me by hanging out with Kid for a while, then he was busy with the 135 division of Syn. A division of 1 fighter, Over the past month Louis D Palma has ducked both myself and the #1 p4p child toucher Charles Martel. I can no longer watch Louie duck his way out of he beating that he knows he deserves. Shogun Silva was never inducted into the Syndicate HOF, thus making your run in Sydney a sham. Fight me Louie, you know you want it!

  14. Ok, this idea is still in development stage but was hoping others could put in input and maybe it can catch fire. News Outlet companies. It seems that orgs are sometimes having a hard time finding writers. This idea could possibly help there, and give another option to players. The News outlet can partner with maybe 10 organizations. They make contract with the orgs with a set payout per approved event preview, and a seperate amount per review. Outlet writes the preview or review, and the org reads it, and hits approve button if it is a legitimate review and not just a couple words. If it is a preview the org gets a small hype bonus for the event based on the hype of the news outlet, and the news outlet gets a small hype bonus that could be slightly effected by the event rating. Hype bonus is slightly higher if event is in news outlets city. Have trophies for: company released 50 articles. company released 100 articles. company top ranked news outlet for 30 days. company top ranked city news outlet for 30 days. What does everyone think? I would be willing to make one of the companies if it is a go.

  16. Greetings, I have picked up many free agents in the past with high level Elite(--) to Elite(++) in wrestling. Very few have been actual 5 star sparring value. I want to know, what makes a 5 star wrestler in this game? How do fighters get to the full wholehearted 5 stars in wrestling sparring value? At first I thought it was takedowns but not all fighters with the 5 stars had as high takedowns as the others while still being fully 5 stars in wrestling. It is not ground and pound I am pretty sure. I have 5 star wrestlers with lower ground and pound so this still puzzles me. It is not the takedown defense either I do not think. Even if you combine it with the takedowns. I might notice higher level def grappling which seems to be the pattern I am seeing and sometimes transitions but transitions do not seem to be the factor for getting 5 stars in wrestling either. Is it experience which leads to 5 stars in wrestling? what kind of experience? The fighters who have had many submission wins seem to be the guys who can get to 5 stars in wrestling. I have noticed that guys who have no submissions, tend to be crappy at wrestling despite the high skill. Is it the success of their takedowns in fights? I have noticed fighters with good percentages for landing takedowns seem to be the 5 star wrestlers I am looking for. Please tycoon gurus and gutbusters, tell me what you know and please remember what you forgot! I must know the secrets of the wrestler of 5 stars ! On a related note: 420!!! (total posts lol)

  24. http://mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1404127501nexlogo.jpg NEX Hilo 6 *The Review* 05.07.2014 Hayashi's Lounge (2,000) Hilo MMA Well folks, we will have to apologize to those of you that were looking for long three round bouts. We could only provide one of those tonight. These fighters were told the Hilo judges have been known to leave the entire arena scratching their heads and our fighters took it seriously. Let's get to the action! Undercard Caliph "King" James vs. Horacio Bernard 185 lbs. This fight started out with a failed takedown attempt from Bernard which James countered into the clinch and it was all over from there. James set the pace with the fastest knockout of the night and finished his opponent at the 1:16 mark of the first round. His strength and control were on full display as he Muay Thai clinched his way to victory even restraining himself to insure no unnecessary damage as done to his opponent. James bounces back from his only professional loss while Bernard suffers his 4th professional defeat. KO of the night candidate as there was only one other KO tonight. Takeshi "Chopstix" Fujiwara vs. Wiley "The Coyote" Kilgore 155 lbs. Well, The Coyote started out well, even won the first round on one judge's scorecard and not too many head scratches for that one. Unfortunately, Fujiwara seemed to be fighting with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove. He went with an interesting gameplan and lit Kilgore up with body shots. It was quite a nice display of Muay Thai as he kept the much larger fighter at a distance with a variety of kicks and combinations. The Coyote may not have ended up in the hospital but he certainly is going to be remembering this fight every time he wakes up in the morning for the next couple of weeks. Fight of the night candidate. Landon Barca vs. Pim "Fire Balls" Kanajawan 155 lbs. Barca finally gets an opponent with his shit together after his previous TWO (seriously TWO?!? c'mon guys...) failed to make weight. He was finally able to bounce back from his professional debut loss with a victory in his NEX debut! This fight really portrays the beauty of our sport. Two Muay Thai fighters step into the cage and you think you are going to see a stand up war, but Barca had other plans. Kanajawan looked to clinched early and Barca used it as an opportunity to take the fight to the ground and immediately execute a kimura from half guard. With the fastest submission of the night, Barca clinched the “Trendsetter of the Night” award and made himself an early candidate for submission of the night. *Trendsetter gets $500 from yours truly* Matt “Animal” Andersson vs. Donald “Pure As” Snow 185 lbs. Animal is a real well rounded fighter, but he just never got the chance to find his groove in this fight, Snow penetrated his range from the opening bell. Looking to try his luck with one of the other divisions of his military Andersson scored a takedown. However, he showed his inexperience by giving up the dominant side control and bringing the fight back to the feet where he was being picked apart. Andersson managed to land a hook before bringing the fight back to the ground where Snow proved to also be the superior fighter by getting Animal to tap from a guillotine choke at the 1:22 make of the 1st round. Snow was patient and capitalized on Andersson’s mistakes. He improves his record to 3-1 in his NEX debut. Jason “Thunder” Jones vs. Jared “Fatty” Donisvitch 155 lbs. Hmmm.. Thunder vs. Fatty, who will win? Fatty is actually a pretty good boxer, but what is he doing in this weight class?!? He needs to shed some lbs or find a new profession. To add to the finding of a new profession I’d would like to point out that he took one punch and decided to take the fight to the ground. This may be just because Jones punches like the lightning that accompanies Thunder; he displayed his speed by sneaking in a punch while evading all but one of Donisvitch’s strikes, but time will have to tell that tale. Fatty caught Thunder with his pants down and scored a takedown. He managed to fend off the triangle for a while but Jones used his long legs to lock the triangle up and let fatty get back to his New York style pizza and chicken wings. http://mmatycoon.com/images/company_banners/1400839214Last%20Dragon%20MMA%20Banner.jpg NEX Hilo 6 Review and review bonuses brought to you by Last Dragon MMA - Hilo. Young professional MMA fighters, come and train every discipline with our coaches! http://mmatycoon.com/images/1404546138Last%20Dragon%20MMA.jpg Main Card Arthur “King” Halo vs. Teddy “Bartitsu Bitch” Barton 185 lbs. King may be his nickname but Halo proved to be the word to sum up this one side victory. Barton still has that halo hanging over his head as he has yet to get an NEX win. Also, a big fat halo for both the offensive and defensive categories under Bartons experience log. He held off a kimura for most of round one but ultimately tapped to it before he could sustain any injury. Like any injury, it’s hard to tell if it even hurt Barton before he tapped. It’s like he knew it was about to be cranked and he said “I quit”. Halo’s brown belt has proven to hold up. Will he be first to get a crack at the winner of the middleweight tournament? He’s have to be stopped before we can say no. Yogi “The Peaceful” Dhamma vs. Gilles Wolfe 185 lbs. Dhamma brings his professional record to 8-0 with a quick submission win over Wolfe. He’s not in the middleweight tournament but much like Arturo Halo, he is knocking on the door of the top 5 in the division. Wolfe’s BJJ just wasn’t good enough to fight off the relentless submission attempts from Dhamma. Dhamma scored an early takedown and eventually pulled off the kimura at the 1:59 mark of the first round. If he can continue to knock off opponents while the champion is crowned, he will no doubt secure himself a title shot. Stu “The Grim Reaper” Grimson vs. Ravi "The Trancendental Dinner" Shankoli 265 lbs. The Grim Reaper stays undefeated and remains a threat in the heavyweight division. He’s been torching NEX opponents his entire professional career, finishing three opponents with 1st round KOs. He didn’t walk away from this one unscathed however. In a fight of Boxing vs. Muay Thai, MT won tonight’s battle, but there will be many more battles in this war of disciplines. Shankoli lit Grimson up with punches, but Grimson took as many as he dished and the MT technique was too much for Shankoli as he was sent from his feet multiple times and because this wasn’t a boxing match, the referee skipped the 10 count and stopped the fight at the 4:32 mark of the 1st round. Grimson is young but he already find himself near the top of the division, it will be interesting to see how he handles himself after this KO of the night candidate performance. Co-Main Event Solomon "Grundy" Augustine vs Patrick " The Shark" Marleau Middleweight Tournament Semi-Final In the first middleweight semi-final of the night we saw the striker, Augustine, fall to a quick kimura from Marleau. The BJJ brown belt wasted no time getting the fight to the ground and initiating a submission. Augustine wasn’t able to throw a single strike, but he should have saw a takedown coming from Marleau. I saw it, but I might be psychic. With this win, Marleau marches his brown belt into the finals of the middleweight tournament hoping to be crowned to organization’s first champion! Main Event Eddie "The Barbarian" Barbaros vs Authority "Pitbull" Zelditeez Middleweight Tournament Semi-Final The REMATCH! These two fighters went out tonight and proved why they deserve to be in the main event and in the middleweight tournament. Barbaros knew his advantage was on the feet in the clinch so he went out there in the 1st round and made sure to keep the fight off the canvas. He scored a copious amount of elbows in the clinch and stuffed takedown after takedown. The 2nd round was a different story. Zelditeez recognized he was no match for Barbaros on the feet and within seconds had Barbaros’ back to the mat in full guard. Four minutes later, Zelditeez was in full mount and Barbaros was tapping. With two wins over Barbaros under his belt, Zelditeez will have a new challenge awaiting him in the finals of the tournament. A more experience BJJ player, these next few weeks of training will be crucial. This middleweight final will be one for the record books!

  26. The skill rating is made up of the Primary and its related Secondaries. So for a 5 star wrestler, he would have to have a high level in: -Wrestling -Takedowns -Takedown Defense -Ground and Pound -Defensive Grappling -Transitions -Escapes -Clinchwork (Not 100% confident on this one) Also, he will need high energy levels to have 5 star wrestling

  28. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13877379865134.png Christopher Newton 7-2-0 Press release Going into the first Silva fight I was mentally unprepared. I went in fighting Adrien while thinking about fighting Aaron, I was on twitter posting stuff two, three hours before the fight. I took Adrien too lightly and it definitely hurt me. I was completely out on the first fight, I was unable to get any offence going and I was giving up already in the fight. It was an unacceptable performance and I disappointed my fans and my coaches. My gameplan going in to that fight was atrocious, but it was also a great job done by Adrien and his team to exploit my weaknesses. In this second fight I was able to do everything I wanted to do. I stayed away from the clinch, I picked him apart by using tools that I've perfected throughout these years of training. I am 27 now, and I am not getting any younger. It is getting harder to train and harder to motivate myself for fights. Adrien is a top competitor and I wish him the best of luck in the future. I am not opposed to a rematch, but I would rather it be sometime during the line, nobody wants to see the same fighters fight 3 times consecutively. I am now going to fly back to Montreal and rest and spend time with my family. Thank you to Brazier for arranging the fight and thank you to Adrien for taking the fight in short notice. I've gotten two knockouts, and this is the start. The only thing that I am able to tell you is that I will get my brown belt from my BJJ coach before I step in the octagon again. Thank you, Christopher.

After waiting 45 minutes the rest of the members finally arrive. The following is transcripts of the meetings conversation: Listerman: Before we get this meeting started, I got something I want to share. I was checking out this Victoria secrets flyer I got sent in the mail. Here check it out. Sami Assasi: Woaaaahhh, man they are hot Igor Byhenikov: Wow, they are hot! Man can I borrow that for a minute, I have to go to the bathroom. I’ll be back in 10 minutes. Butch Harris: Man who let this guy in our group? Mark O'Sullivan: Did anyone of you notice the prices on them. Listerman: Ya I did, I thought they was cheap so I ordered a model for myself about a week ago. Check it out, I even saved some money using a coupon for her http://i1.ytimg.com/vi/ThHJVEOoeUk/maxresdefault.jpg Sami Assasi: Wow, I didn’t notice that. I should order one for myself too. Mark O'Sullivan: Dam, you can even get free shipping http://milled.com/messages/2014-02-27/PR2rJboDaLhEJj-l/TCkixhnp_XVjE7HK.jpg Butch Harris: It might be a trick; I’d wait until Listerman gets her and make sure she is really that hot. Sami Assasi: Ya good point. Listerman, let us know when you get her and if she’s like the pictures Listerman: I’m expecting her most likely tomorrow as I got her clothes in the mail today and they look just like what she was wearing in the flyer. Igor Byhenikov: Can I borrow her later? Listerman: Maybe Igor Byhenikov: Great, I’m gonna run home and warm up Mark O'Sullivan: Didn’t you just do that? Igor Byhenikov: No, I couldn’t catch that dam cat outside the bathroom. Boris shakes his head and turns off the audio equipment, puts the camera down and calls Duphus Boris: Hey Boss Duphus: Yes Boris: These guys are complete ass clowns: I’m just wasting my time here. 48. I am writing in an attempt to correct the mistakes I have made in the past and hope I can be forgiven and given a fresh start in this game. I will start from the beginning and come up to date offering a brief explanation and then my thoughts on the issue. The fake nutritional products, I took over the shop when an alliance member was leaving the game and offered it to me for our alliance. Once I owned the shop and seen that he was selling products that were of less value then what they were advertised as I did not know what to think. I was new to the game and did not even know what nutritional products did for my fighters or for other ppl fighters. So I made my biggest mistake to date in this game and made the decision to sell the remaining products to make cash to create a new product. I sold just over 500 units and someone reported the products to be less than what I was claiming them to be. Busted. So at this point I did not know what to do, I was working with an alliance bud Cal who was doing the sponsorships for me in the shop and he gave me the advice to stick with the shop and repay any and everyone who felt that I did them wrong so I did just that. But repaying everyone and saying I was sorry did not work. So I will try again as it means something to me to be forgiven for wrong doings that I feel I can correct if allowed. I am very sorry I did this guys. Chuck Grace and our gym partnership, I feel Chuck misunderstood me when I asked him to join me on this project. It was my goal to set up a gym where my Black belts would spar to make cash as I was putting out cash all around the alliance. Here is where my mistake was made, Chuck wanted to do this for the alliance and was willing to take a hit to make it happen and I gave him shit as that was not my plan. I was trying to make cash; he was trying to help the alliance. I use the cash I make to fund the alliance. We just could not see each other’s sides, to the point I freaked on him when we could not agree. Chuck I am sorry for this. I had no right to freak out like I did. I feel we both had the groups best interest in mind but I could not keep my cool long enough to communicate that to you. The Alliance of the year awards, Where to start, first let me say I’m sorry to ever member of The Fighters Pitt. Congratulations on the award, you guys are a great bunch and it’s an honor to be in the same conversation with you guys. Qrash, I have always thought of you as a standup guy. I am sorry for my views on what happened and I would like to offer you my apologies. Please try to understand something about me; I am a weak person when it comes to thing I care about. I know it’s a game and I know it’s not worth the energy but I love this freaking game and cannot stop myself from becoming, as crazy as it sounds - emotional involved - with this game. I care about the guys I work with, not in a worry if they don’t log in if their ok but in a want them to do well in game and have fun type way. I / we invest a lot of real life in this game so when it comes to winning anything I get a bit excited. I don’t mean to brag or act like I am better than anyone I just get so involved in what we are doing and want to tell the world of our gains, but I am not a wordsmith so I come across as arrogant or conceded. I am sorry for this as I just want the guys I work with to be seen for their efforts. Lance and the game glitch. Lance I am sorry for the way things went down man, I know we spoke and cleared the air but I wanted to say something publicly. It was a mistake on my part that led to an incident that never should have happened. Very sorry man. The guys in my alliance, This is the worst part of it all for me. Guys I am sorry to all of you. You guys do so much it’s unreal. I really am proud of all we have done and really feel you guys deserve better than the shit you receive just from being involved with me. The loyalties you guys show means a lot to me and I want to thank you all for the support you guys have shown. I would like a fresh start, to never have the past mentioned again and be judged by my current actions and not the mistakes I’ve made. Don’t think that forgiving me is weak, think of it as being strong enough to understand that people make mistakes.
