  1. Well many of you are very well aware of my many run ins with Mentor and his outlandish hatred for everything Syn but in the past couple of days I have to admit to even myself I was blown away by what had transpired and I could not hold it in any longer, I just had to bring it to everyone's attention. But before I do so I would like to take a moment to reflect on our past goings on which has led us to the present... Back in late September of 2013 Mentor and I devised a plan, or a plot if you will to try and drum up some interest or hype in some events we had discussed holding in our Orgs. At first we were both in on the work, I admit to that and I also admit that looking back, maybe it was a dumb idea but little did I know just how dumb. Once announced the Tycoon world was abuzz with talk about a Syn vs GAMMA event soon to take place, unfortunately without my knowing Mentor had never planned to follow through and instead try and make me look like a fool, and lied his way out of the event, after we had mutually agreed he suddenly pulled the plug, and then blamed it all on me, when I was the one doing everything in my power to see it take place. I even tried this... to which Syn received this reply Which he never accepted, and ultimately blamed me for the downfall of this even though he puss'd out on it taking the back door to exit. Then came the Tycoon Olympics, when he took on his all high and mighty persona and once again bashed Synchronicity and new owner dark_soul originally for "pulling out' even though they never did... And then came the back handed insults... This was followed up by all the multi, cheating scumbag crap that I do not wish to drudge up so I wish to fast forward until early this week, when Mentor popped up in another Syn scandal, this time regarding the picking up of a FA... which led to this... Which then of course started the debate on Mentor feeding Bennet to his alliancemates fighter who happens to also be the LHW Champ in GAMMA, all well planned you would have to agree, no until JLP's thread derailed those plans... So by now I am sure some if not most of you are wondering where I am going with all of this, or why I am wasting everyone's time with old news...well following the explosion of discussion regarding the FA pickup by Mentor, I was suddenly greeted with an email, one from the manager of a certain top 3 LHW fighter...wanting to try and facilitate a fight between the winner of Syn's next LHW Title fight between Champ Devin Styles and Heroic LHW Champ Tiago Renato. Now even though this request came from the manager of the fighter I am fairly confident the actual request came from the man himself, Mentor asking endingcooper to do his dirty work for him as I am sure he is simply too proud to step up and ask Syn to work with him, we all know how that played out the last time... I am also confident, even though he has not stated this as fact, that Custer asked for this fight as he has no interest in fighting Bennet knowing the backlash that would follow such a sham of a fight, and for this I would like to offer endingcooper much respect for acting with honor in declining the chance to can out the hype built by JLP. Such an act left GAMMA without a fight for Custer, so they did what any other Org would do after bashing their rival time and time again...GAMMA asked SYN to bail them out. Yes, I am/was as shocked then as most of you who are reading this now are I am sure and I have to admit, based on the experiences of both Dark Soul and myself, neither of us have any desire to work with a cheat, nor would we ask any of our fighters to work with him either, so we struck a deal, a deal witht he devil perhaps...not a chance!!! (well after this post it may be off again) ... but we agreed to host the said fight in Syn, and as compensation we agree to send any LOD fighter of their choosing from Syn to GAMMA. Seems fair right, would you all not agree? They can work amongst themselves within their alliance to set it up so we do not have to deal with Mentor and Syn gets the fight that GAMMA asked for, win win I say!! Discuss amongst yourselves...

  2. Mentor is so full of lies, that even his catchphrase "THIS IS MY LAST POST HERE!", is a lie.
    6 points
  3. Good old mentor. Never disappoints with his lies. This is despite the FACTS being in the public domain. Take a look. It's there for everyone to see. You didn't give Syn 3 weeks extra. We started the following Thursday, just days after the official kick off date. And that was simply for one fighter. All the rest were in place. As did another org. You know, the one with the manager you tried to slag off via pm. Also. What advantage would it had gained us? As there is one fighter from each org that would still mean that 7 of the 8 started on time at the other orgs. Lol. Try using the truth once in a while, you might like it. As for finishing a few weeks after. If you check the FACTS you'll see this happened because I kept to the number of weeks between the events whereas some others cut the weeks between depending, I assume, on the injuries that resulted in the previous leg. I also note that you're claiming you allowed this and you allowed that. No you didn't. You had no choice. The Olympics is far bigger than you. Also, Syn are not ducking. I stated many months ago I don't want anything to do with you or GAMMA but tried to sort something out with Gale. Just because I set a few conditions in order to try and make working with you a bit less dirty doesn't mean we ducked. These conditions were a lot more favourable than those set out by Louie. It's called a compromise. If you keep burning your bridges like you do then you wouldn't have to hide behind Gale and send him cap in hand. This is why I don't usually post in these threads. Mentor cannot tell the truth if his life depended on it. He has no morals and will make things up as he pleases, despite the truth being only clicks away.

  4. It is relevant when you're just making stuff up lol. Also what's this talk about a deadline on the 30th? I believe your first event was on the 1st. So maybe yours should have been rejected as well. Also, you would have had to reject the other org as well and we all know how you felt about them as well. In fact. Ever thought it might be you with the problem? I think you've slated every org and its manager to various other org managers in some sort of desperate attempt to be top dog. It's called being 2 faced. Anyway, Gales fighter is more than welcome to fight at Syn. If you're that sure of a win send him over, no strings attached. If not, maybe he can drop me a pm when his contract is up.

  5. Good to see you never change my good buddy Mentor... You say I don't have time to reply and then throw up an essay of garble that I am assuming you have been preparing prior to posting. Anyways let's get back on topic here as you appear to have clearly missed the point of my post, perhaps you are not as smart as you try to portray yourself...in a nutshell I will give u a quick recap of my post. We had a plan, u backed out, then lied about backing out to make u look better, u pissed me off but that's over. Then u took back handed jabs at Dark and Syn, like the arrogant dick that u are (hence the bold text in my post) because you are a dick. Then u picked up a FA to farm out his hype, failing to even consider fulfilling his contractual obligations (buyout or no buyout) and as an org owner that was a Dick move. When that backfired on u cuz Gale won't take that fight suddenly GAMMA has no worthy fight to offer its LHW Champ Whig really is too bad for Gale. Syn would be more then happy to see this fight take place BUT because you are a dick, and continue to go out of your way to burn bridges we have ZERO desire to deal with u in any form, once again because of u Gale loses. We offered a compromise though not ideal was the only solution we could think of, but you are a dick so all bets are off. Do u get it get Mentor, I made this thread because I don't like you, because you are a dick, and the quotes I used were merely to point this fact out, it wasn't about Syn, it was about you but you haven't a clue or the ability to get over yourself or your babble about records and dumb shit like that to see the real meaning behind it, and for that, we thank you!

  6. Thanks for clearing that up bud Anyway. Not going to get into an argument again with Mentor. Done it before and all I get for the headache is satisfaction in proving him a liar by providing hard facts and evidence. None of which he has ever argued against once shown.

  8. No one would. It would be like giving your gun to your potential enemy with a note "do not use it against me". Most of the managers won't share with you their sliders, so figure it by yourself. And it's a managment game, in which the main goal is to achieve global domination, most of the players aren't like those evil geniuses from Hollywood, whom shares their plans with a hero before attempting to kill him. Good luck, Bragi~

  9. If a manager chooses too (with a checkmark when booking a QFC) he should be allowed to fight one weight class higher... i.e- a 135 pounder should be allowed but not forced to fight at 145. Give is a better chance of filling them and not waiting for days to get one.

  10. Both my fighters Phil Mcracken (http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=168902) and Rocky Marciano (http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=33068) took energy hits when I had private flights booked for them to reach Sydney for exactly fight time. Am I missing something here? I buy a private jet to avoid absolute bullshit like this and then this happens... Am I supposed to fly them in for 30 minutes before local fight time or what? I really do not understand this and I just lost a fight because of it. Really unhappy with this! If you have a private jet and you book flights to get to all your fights then there is no way this should ever be happening. And this is the only time I ever booked a flight to arrive for exactly fight time... Bullshit!

  12. Why don't you stop arguing on and make the fight the game is about fun. I'm getting sick of these Mentor threads now if you don't like the guy don't do business with him simple you don't have to send it out to the world every time he farts. Don't take this as a sign for me sticking up for him I'm not I don't know what's gone on between you too or the orgs. But these are getting really boring if your gunna create a negative forum page do it to call some one out for a fight or an org vs org.

  13. I just think it's funny how he not only acted with me, but also other org owners and now has to send someone to do his begging work for him. Despite that I've tried to work with him for the good of the other managers I'm sure if the boot was on the other foot he wouldn't even entertain the idea. Having said that, I did receive some info from another manager that even to this day he is still trying to screw Syn and myself over. This is why I'm replying as I usually keep out of mentor threads. Obviously the guy has mental issues and because of his more recent shit stirring I might have to reconsider my position. I can only be decent for a limited period while the guy begging for help is still trying to screw me over.

I went to a seminar with a view to pyramid selling Viagra to dudes in nursing homes who ordered in hookers. this fat Greek dude told me what he his dad told him about how to make money, the secret he said is work for yourself! Anyway, when we were enjoying complimentary weight loss, penis extending health drinks and cholesterol reducing lard bars after the presentation, the Greek lad started telling me a bout MMA Tycoon. Not looked back. Ps. I've also now got immense sexual stamina, a bigger penis, and I can do Iron Man events and I don't even have to train.

  17. As in the title? I am presuming Monday's fine? There are loads of little things but the main ones are ref standups, overall fight scoring and leg kicks affecting speed and agility not stamina. There isn't a massive amount that you would be able to gameplan for until you have experienced how you think it all works, so not a massive amount of notice needed imho. details; changed scoring system including fight rating, (n.b. will likely see less 100% rated fights) improved transitions to focus more on the transitions variable itself improved flex vs agility for advance position; added agility plus split what you need based on top vs bottom so bottom needs flex but top doesn’t improve subs; so that bottom needs flex but top needs agility, whilst being the taller fighter makes subs from the bottom more likely but less likely from the top (minor difference). bug fix - commentary display for getting rocked sometimes bugged out at the start of rounds added more commentary to indicate sustained ground stalling by a fighter added fight graphics for reversals diminishing returns for scoring points on takedowns and subs. reduced energy loss for attempted escapes added clinch attempts to post fight stats fixed alignment of little arrow things on the fight imperial stats bars fixed - occasionally the fight engine would do a move you hadn't asked your fighter to do also debugged the crap out of it for about 5 days and found a few bug that would have affected the chance of certain standup things landing, sometimes positively and sometimes negatively depending on tactics. hopefully this will have been the cause of any "how the hell did that happen?" fights for you in the past, so it won't happen again. scrap NCs due to being in the wrong location. Instead you will be teleported to the right location and get a 10% hit to energy and morale but the fight will still take place. Added 16th sept; Additional tweak to standups from yesterday's changes. Altered the "ground moves per minute" calculation. The most important impact being that we won't have a massive drop in moves per min when people go high counter. I'll continue to work on this one as post of this requires me editing commentary lines individually.

  18. Hello all, Bringing this to forum to settle an argument, do you prefer fighters with original names like for example, my own - http://www.mmatycoon.com/managerprofilemanager.php?MgrID=98984 or, are you in favour of names like 'William Wallace', or 'Ivan Drago' etc... My argument is that all fighters should have original names, but there is no harm in changing the nicknames to whatever you want in the spirit of character freedom etc. I used to run and org in my first stint in game and would only ever sign fighters with original names to bring a further aspect of realism. Just looking general views to settle a long running argument with a real life and in game friend. Thanks!

Of course there is that wiki page for it, but it isn't detailed ... can anyone just write this post on different criteria like : 1. Ko artist 2.submission guy 3.clinchwork guy 4.kicking and muay thai 5.defensive grappling 6.counter punching etc etc etc etc this would be a great help for all the new managers and all the other who are struggling with the game .... please anyone ...

You have proven time and time again that you are the real deal and i have to say that despite all the trash talking my team mate Jack Silver has said about you in the past, it was an honour to lock horns with a warrior such as yourself. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/37/37w18.jpg "Lumber" Jack Silver (247679) Huh?? What did i say??? http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14041311491144.jpg "Lucky" Liam McGuiness (246080) Don't you remember?? It all started when you fought all those months ago. He knocked you out and you started with the name calling. You been nothing but trouble leading up to this fight! Trying to make trouble by calling Mazzuca names and implying he is a cheat!! Frankly if you weren't my team mate i would whoop your ass myself!!! http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/37/37w18.jpg "Lumber" Jack Silver (247679) I am speechless...... http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14041311491144.jpg "Lucky" Liam McGuiness (246080) GOOD!! Because frankly you've done enough!! And stop interrupting my interview, it's rude!! Anyway, Mazzuca congrats on the win! We have to go to Sully's where we can have a beer and hopefully i can clear up this mess! I've always thought you were a class act and you proved it when we fought. (whispers) And i'm sorry about my team mate Jack Silver's words. I think he's taken a few too many hits to the head. He doesn't mean it. He's actually a really nice guy when you get to know him. I SWEAR!!!

On a serious note though damn dude you are going all out over the little tiny 1% chance you may accidently cause an NC one day and that 10% decrease in energy giving you slightly less chance at winning. I don't think most of the people that play the game would of bitched as much as you if mike just straight up said NC's were loses... get a grip man.

  31. There are many ways to deal with it, happens in life. I mean, you could argue that with "fighter death", not just losing a fight, but the whole fighter for good. I would hate that more than an energy hit, but there seem to be some that think that fighter death inclusion is cool. The same deterrent can be achieved without the energy hit, with managerial hype loss and economic sanctions, which is fair enough. The energy hit is an unfair way to punish someone for not being where he should be, come fight time. I play this game to win fair fights and to get a good ranking. That means I don't want wins handed to me, but I also don't want to give losses away. Anything else in this game is just means to win fights and get better ranking.

  40. Cottonfloss NGF Reflections #5 NGF 158 certainly has a lot of excitement as it is the biggest NGF card yet featuring the likes of Dragon Slayer and Doc Chillum and the NGF big names of Henrik Torhammer, Johnny Fantastic, Tyler Richards, and Judge Machina. However, NGF 155-157 certainly had their share of excitement as well. One of the first joint decisions made by Aaron ThaiGuy and Rogelio Cottonfloss was to have NGF 155 in Los Angeles. So, Tyler Richard’s first NGF fight since May 10, 2014 occurred neither in Russia nor the United Kingdom, but rather in the United States. Americans got to see a great fight between Danny Brown and Tyler Richards as Richards defended his belt with a third round TKO. Having American judges did not help Manny Mannetosen, however, as he dropped a third NGF fight by majority decision this time to Reiska Pekka Retale. Jay Jay Mutumbo earned KO of the night honors with his second round KO punch of Anthony Brown. The only fight of the night finished in the first round merited Vinnie Vincent submission of the night honors as he was victorious over Martin Louis. NGF 155 also saw Nichi Hong end his NGF career with a win over Stampe Eklund. . The return of NGF to London for NGF 156 saw four times as many first round finishes as the Los Angeles event that preceded it. Jeff Glover secured a TKO win over Dongmin Oh in 97 seconds. Charles La Fontier took 2 minutes and 5 seconds to secure a KO victory over Kelemi Seia. Xantos Aremis extended his winning streak to six fights with his TKO over Wade Wilson at the 3 minute and 8 second mark. It took the fighter formerly known as Sam Winchester just 27 seconds more to secure his victory over Roman Petkovic. Rasva Jorma and Gabriel Rua both pulled out second round submission victories with Jorma earning the sub of the night award. In the co-main event, Pablo Escobar got a KO victory over Jack Kessler with one second left in the second round. The main event was not only deemed the fight of the night, but earned Vladislav Munchkin KO of the night honors as he bested Irving Brown. NGF 157 flew a little bit under the radar as NGF 156 was the last event fan favorite writer Michael “The Wolf” Brakeley covered for NGF and a replacement was not yet hired. In what he thought might be his last NGF fight, Vyacheslav Kalashnikov agreed to fight Sami Hyypia again. This time, Kalshnikov secured a second round KO victory as opposed to surrendering a decision loss. These warriors just couldn’t let it go 1-1 and are on the NGF 159 card to decide who is the superior fighter. Linkin Portier ended a four fight losing skid with his fight of the night decision victory over Mikhail Rakhmanov. In his NGF debut Mitsuyo Maeda achieved a TKO victory over Reino Tolonen while Eddy Maiden pulled out his NGF debut fight as well with a decision victory over Xavier Styles. Toshiro Montero had the only submission victory of the night defeating Martin Louis. Erkki Vieri ended a two fight skid with a victory over Edmund Dantes while Bjorn Helgi followed up losing to Henrik Torhammer by beating William Dos Santos. And then, NGF 158 arrived. While Janne Finland had to help Luis Carlos Linhares wait patiently for his featherweight title shot, he was busy preparing his three top fighters to headline the NGF 158 card. Janne’s fighters went 2-1 with Synchronicity’s recently crowned middleweight champion Dragon Slayer triumphing over Tyler Richards with a third round TKO. Janne’s other two fighters wound up taking their fights the distance and merited unanimous decision victories. Welterweight Johhny Fantastic was triumphant over CEC champion Doc Chillum. Henrik Torhammer’s lightweight title defense against Judge Machina puts Torhammer on a seven fight win streak. While Fatts McGee has likely exceeded most outside expectation, Muay Thai was sure not to fall to McGee as Thai secured a victory over McGee which should merit Thai a title fight offer. Per Fekt proved he can talk the talk and walk the walk. Per Fekt finished Chris Webster in 18 seconds in his attempt to indeed make NGF 158 the latter’s cause of death. Joe Frazier and Kieron Radebe joined Muay Thai and Per Fekt in achieving first round knockout victories. While awards have not been issued yet, eight finishes with two decision victories from Janne’s fighters made NGF 158 an excellent card that sold over 300k PPV units and was a sold out event. Be sure to tune in to the weekly New Generation Fighters Talk Show. Rogelio Cottonfloss

Teddy Barton 185 lbs. Teddy Barton finished Morgan in the 1st round via rear naked choke. Light Heavyweight Havoc Tournament Revenge: Round 2 Boss Godfrey v. Tyler Tepper Boss Godfrey won a dominant decision over Tepper. Bismarck De Jager v. Mason Storm Mason Storm dropped De Jager in the 3rd round with a devastating hook. Anta Gonista v. Guns Malone Malone ended this one in the 1st round with ground and pound from mount. Timmy The Gun v. Reginald Spector The Gun added to the 1st round stoppage list with a TKO victory over Spector. MAIN CARD Edward Folayang v. Tommy Hold 155 lbs. Hold shot out of the gate looking for takedowns and Folayang stuffed three of them before mounting his offense. Exactly one head punch, one body punch, one punch combo, one head kick, one leg kick, and one body kick later, Hold was waking up with the doctor in his face. Folayang has been trading wins and victories. Hopefully he can get a win streak going. He took down an NEX vet who found early success. That should give him some confidence heading into his next fight. Light Heavyweight Havoc Tournament Round 3 The Gun v. Lance Bishop As the tournament goes on, you have to wonder how the lack of recovery time will affect fighters. These two fighters have had similar paths leading up to this matchup. Both finished their opening round opponent in the 1st round, but were unable to finish at all in the second round of the tournament. Both fighter were fresh for this bout and both seemed hungry to go on to the semifinals. The Gun was able to keep the fight standing and tag Bishop with a few punches, but he could only stuff three takedowns before sucumbing to the wrestling of Bishop. Bishop began the grappling session on top, but after failing at a heel hook, he ended up on bottom where he probably preferred to be. I say that because he promptly finished the fight with a guillotine… FROM HIS BACK… Lance Bishop will be easing on down the road to the semi-finals. Darren McCarty v. Ren Hitogoroshi McCarty’s total fight time going into this tournament fight totalled less than one round. Hitogoroshi went the distance in a fight of the night matchup. Nonetheless HItogoroshi finds himself in Round 3 of the Light Heavyweight Havoc tournament and it’s put up or shut up. Hitogoroshi didn’t seem to come into this fight in the best of shape and he was completely dominated for 3 minutes before being KO’d. McCarty did damage in the clinch after it was initiated by HItogoroshi in the opening seconds. Once McCarty was able to break free of the clinch, he went to work and picked his opponent apart until the ref wouldn’t allow him to go on. Darren McCarty will meet Lance Bishop in the Light Heavyweight Havoc semi-final to see who will go to the final match and await the winner of the Revenge bracket. Bryan Danielson v. Landon Barca 155 lbs. This fight started with a very close 1st round that saw Barca score on the feet before getting taken down and controlled for the rest of the round. The 2nd round looked similar to the 1st but Danielson took the fight to the mat sooner and was all about this finish this time around. Barca’s ground game was no match mor Danielson and he was able to have his way on top. Shortly after a takedown Danielson initiate the ground and pound and Barca couldn’t handle anymore punishment one minute into it. Danielson get’s his third victory in a row under the NEX banner and now sits at 4-0 overall. The champion defends his belt later this month. Danielson may be just one win away from earning a shot. MAIN EVENT Mark Kalaway v. Alex Rouge 155 lbs. Alex Rouge is on a very impressive streak in NEX. Coming into this fight, he had already racked up two knockout of the night bonuses as well as a fight of the night bonus. Kalaway would not doubt have to avoid the lethal head kicks of Rouge if he was to take home a victory. Unfortunately, that head kick of Rouge’s reared it’s ugly head in the first minute of the fight. He landed two and that was all it took to put Kalaway away in his NEX debut. Kalaway was riding a 4 fight win streak, but will have to start all over as Rouge improves his streak to three, all head kick KOs.

  47. Make your way to google immediately and do not pass go or if you are too lazy, here you go; Cacti vs. cactusesCacti is the Latin plural of cactus, and some writers use it in English. Cactuses is the English plural. Dictionaries list both, and neither is right or wrong. Also, like many names of plants, the uninflected cactus is sometimes treated as plural. The prevalence of the Latin cacti can be attributed to the influence of Latin on biological nomenclature. These Latin plurals are not considered out of place in botany and other scientific fields, and some make their way into broader usage, but there’s no good reason that the ordinary English speaker should have to abide by the rules of Latin grammar. Cactus is not the only Latin-derived English word ending in –us, and most are conventionally pluralized in the English manner. Fungus, like cactus, often becomes fungi (though funguses is just as good), but this is one of the few exceptions. Most English speakers don’t say ani instead of anuses, apparati instead of apparatuses, campi instead of campuses, octopi instead of octopuses, stati instead of statuses, or viri instead viruses, and there’s no reason cactus should be any didfferent. It’s a matter of preference, though, and cacti is not wrong.
