I agree with that sentiment. I think a lot of the observations made about the current climate between police and the citizenry (particularly in the USA) is correct as well. Each day seems to bring a wider gap between 'us' and 'them', which is obviously counter productive to the aim of having a police force protecting a society. I think aylib's point about staring into the abyss is particularly relevant and the continuing discussion and media coverage is an important aspect of this. Of course, this needs to be treated with consideration and not from an adversarial perspective as well, as the idea is for us to achieve an accord with the police where we're all on the same side and it is the 'bad guys' who aren't. A blame culture and focus only on negatives will always put them on the defensive and push them further towards being a 'them'. If you've ever had a problem with the police despite being (really and truly) innocent of wrong doing, then this is not acceptable. Whether it is institutionalised or at an individual level, it needs to be addressed through the processes that exist. The local complaints and grievances processes initially, through voting and writing to your relevant political folks at a higher level. In a democracy the voice of the people is meant to be heard and when a majority of voices make a request or a complaint, these need to be addressed. It doesn't happen if no one steps up and speaks/acts and if they are still ignored, then it is time for revolution.

This is a good idea Basic stance (character creation) Orthodox (right), Southpaw (left) Advanced stance (add in tactics) Wide (feet apart like Machida's) - good in and out Defensive (hands up tight like Guida's) - good blocking Open (Hands down like Silva, Cruz) - diverse offense Square (Level feet ) - good sprawl MT stance (Condit's, Vera's) - precise kicks/knees, clinching Boxing (GSP)- precise punching Then add Circle left/right to stand up tactics it would be nice if fighters can switch to any stance if they like depending on the individual slider, if the slider is zero then they won't go to that stance, but the effectiveness of each stance would depend on the skill stats and their disciplines. This is difficult to make, I know, But just an idea. I just would like to add diversity because most of the dominant fighters have the same styles I think. A knock-out artist with good take-down defense.

Yeah i guess the list of people who are using PED's is a long and depressing one. I definetly agree that the UFC isnt doing enough, and i think that they might contribute to the problem by pressing fighters to take the fights when the UFC wants, and not when the fighter is ready.
