  1. Faster resting was implemented on the Island because of the short time each season lasts, 6 months. Because resting after fights took away a large portion the time, faster resting was implemented and was changed from 5% per session to 20% per session. (it's a bit faster on the lower part of the energy bar) The Island have had this for a few season and I must say it's a great success. The pace of the game feels better and the dead time inbetween is less. The question I now have is should this be implemented into the normal part of the game aswell? The fighting pace will be the same because of the injury factor, it's still up to 16 days which faster resting wouldn't have any impact on. The difference would be that the fighter can return to the gym and train faster than before. The benefits would be that the game would be somewhat speed up and the difference between a gym rat and an active fighter would be somewhat less as it would take at the most 5 sessions(2,5 days) to recover 100% instead of as now an entire week(7days). I think it also could benefit new managers after they've had their first QFC. They already have to wait 2 days for the QFC to take place but if they're unlucky the have to wait another week before they can do anything else with their fighters. That's a lot of waiting time for some one who is trying to find out if the like the game. (assuming they are left with 0% energy after their first fight). This would get them quicker back into the gym to see those improvements that gets us all hooked on the game. Benefits Faster recovery More gym time Less deadtime Faster game pace It's any easy enough implementation and it really has been a very positive thing for the Island, why not to the rest of the game aswell?

  5. I think it usually switches back and forth, not exactly sure what the reason for that is. But years ago it was guys like Tonal and Victor Creed that dominated the rankings for a long period. Then we went through the phase of Otso Jokinen and Danny Powers and Sly Randolph's and that era of little guys who seemed to dominate the rankings. Then it switched again to the likes of Womba and then Rinky and Leo. Now it's shifting back again it seems.

  6. It was an awesome finals. Pernell Whitaker Jr showed himself to be one of the top fighters with his win in the Welterweight division, especially impressive since this was his Second ITFL showing, while Diego Bustamante delivered a huge comeback KO victory to claim the Heavyweight crown. I am gonna be doing a "Season Review" write up over the next few days where I will do a recap of the season, with sections for each team involved as well as dedicated sections reviewing the winners of the Individual tournaments as well as those I feel were noteworthy, whether it be for good or bad reasons (Looking at you Bosco Brown).

  7. And the fact that you actually need to win a fight to climb the rankings MMA Tycoon is awesome, the only bad part of it is that we need more! More things to do, more tycoon, more fighting more everything!

  10. As I look through my fighters I notice I need to find a gym for one of my fighters in Hilo. I go to the highstreet and there are literally zero gyms to join. I understand that everybody is in alliances, and everybody pools their resources and makes private gyms. But I feel like public gyms need a boost - there needs to be more incentive for people to own and operate a public gym. Never once in my over 6 years of Tycoon have I ever seen a highstreet with 0 available gyms to join. I also understand that public gyms aren't part of the metagame and that everybody should train in private gyms with 1 on 1 elite coaches. There are still people who train in public gyms though - mainly managers who take scraps off the FA list like myself and have no real aspirations with these fighters - it's a far more casual way of still enjoying the game. Suggestions - Close down Hilo - Improve public gym incentive for owners - Have tiers of cozad gyms. The default $50 one and a $1000 one with elite coaches

  11. A week is way too short. I think 1 irl month is perfect, 30 days. for one, somebody can have a roster full of fighters with fights booked. sometimes fights don't take place for weeks. feel it's only fair.

  12. Justin Credible here, I’ll be doing a preview for IFC 11, my apologies as I had to deal with my torn ACL the past few days and couldn’t make it to do the preview but congrats on a great event! Down to business, I’ve been doing full card previews, well not anymore, I’ll give my predictions on the entire card but not an in-depth preview, only the top 5 main card fights will get that! So without further ado, let’s get started! Our main card kicks off with Jhonny Garcia v Gleb Zheglov! A pair of undefeated prospects that are looking to make a name for themselves, both men are strikers without fear of getting knocked out in the process. Jhonny Garcia is 2-0 with 2 (T)KOs both of which were in the 3rd round. Some say he doesn’t have the power to earn a 1st Round KO and that is why his previous manager and he parted ways. His new management team have called that claim “Idiotic” and have called some journalists “Misspelling illiterate dumb asses!” I think we all know who he is referring to but I’m not one to start rumors. Garcia seems to think that with a win on this card he’ll be staring at a title shot. Gleb Zheglov is 1-0 with his win coming from a war with Ronnie Ripper at a less than sanitary QFC event. Gleb thinks that he’s going to walk through Jhonny Garcia and straight to stardom, but if his fight with Ronnie Ripper was any indication… He has some work to do. This one will certainly be a war, I’m going to go with Jhonny Garcia in this one in hopes that the management switch didn’t have any effect on his mentality. Our next fight is Chocolate Milk v Count Foo in the 170lb weight class. Muay Thai against Boxing in this one, it’ll be a battle of distance and footwork. Chocolate Milk started his career off with a (Nes)quick (Get it?) victory over a fighter I personally hate, Ronald Glover. He stumbled in his fight against Peter Potter but he claims that the loss was the best thing to happen to him. He learned how to utilize his distance and how to cut the angles more effectively. He said, “I may have gotten knockout out physically, but mentally I was woken up!” Either he’s been smoking too much of Sully’s secret stash, or he’s actually learned from his loss. Count Foo is a rising prospect with loads of potential, if you need evidence just look at his Island FC debut against DJ Jordan. Foo is not fool and doesn’t know kung fu, he’ll just FU up. He is a street brawler turned crisp boxing phenom, MMA analysts everywhere were very impressed with just how well his boxing transitioned to MMA, only time will tell just how much of that hype is real. For now, I’m drinking the Kool-Aid…Not the Chocolate Milk, my pick is Count Foo! Bukau Bekua v Ivan Maksim takes place next on the main card, for some reason. A guy who is 4-0 is taking on a 20 year old who is 0-1, now in what world and on what Island does this fight make sense? I love Island FC but someone in the match making department needs a dose of reality. Bukau Bekua is a 0-1 fighter with a name that is almost as confusing as this match-up. He is a Muay Thai fighter with limited ground skills (as we’ve seen in his debut), but a ton of potential. Many critics and fans alike think this match-up is terrible and too much too soon for the young gun, but none-the-less he has huge balls for taking this fight. Ivan Maksim is a can crushing, QFC fighting, 4-0 paper fighter who has name his living beating lesser opponents (no offense to his opponents). But he is 4-0 and has a lot of hype behind him, as well as being the overwhelming favorite, he is also thought of as the No.1 contender in the 145lb division. With a win over Bekua he should punch his ticket to a title shot where he’ll be forced into fighting someone actually on his level skill wise. I’ll go with an upset pick and pick Bukau Bekua to win! No love lost between our CO-Main Event fighters Frank Karlsson v Lee Black do battle next! Both men challenged for the 205lb strap and came up shorter than a midget trying to dunk. That’s not to say these men won’t have another chance, but for now they’re thrown back into the shark tank known as the Light-Heavyweight division. Frank Karlsson is a popular fighter and a humorous presence on social media, often times calling out fighters and even the Island FC owner a few times as well. He is a brawler with hands of dynamite and a chin like Abraham Lincoln on Mount Rushmore (Stone, get it…because Abe in carved into... never mind, you get it). He chose the fight with Lee Black because the only thing that matters the Frank Karlsson is that shiny belt strapped around his waist. Not one to back down from a fight, Lee Black accepted this fight with a smile. Like Karlsson, Lee Black likes to make his presence known on social media as well, often using it to thank sponsors and poke fun at opponents. He lost his last fight but is eager to strap the gloves on and get back up the ladder. Black is a wonderful boxer with quick hands and excellent technique that he’ll try to use to control the distance. He believes that with a win over Frank Karlsson, he’s up for another shot at the title. This is a tough fight to pick, but I’m going with Frank Karlsson. One thing is for sure, the smack talk in this one should be entertaining. MAIN EVENT TIME BITCHES!!!! Hop Sing Jung v Alexander Vermeer GO AT IT FOR THE 145LB TITLE! Classic striker/grappler fight to end the night, both of these undefeated warriors are surely going to leave it in the cage. Alexander Vermeer is a beast with hands that should be legally registered as weapons and a heart that would make The Grinch jealous. He is a silent assassin and prefers to let his fighting do his talking, but when I pressed him about this fight he had this to say, “I’m glad to have gotten the title shot over that can crushed douche, and I’ll make sure I make the most out of it. I know his game plan and I know how to counter it, after I beat Hop Sing Jung the division will finally have the champion it deserves.” Hop Sing Jung is no easy task for anyone he is a top level grappler coming off the biggest win of his career against Alpha Gamma at IFC 9. His brother (Slaughterhouse FC 205lb champion) Sungwon Jung has taken time out of his career to help him train for this fight. Hop Sing Jung stated that he feels more confident than ever and ready to start the Jung Era at Island FC. He feels his grappling is too strong for Vermeer to handle and vowed to “Twist him around like a pretzel.” This one is going to be fireworks, I’m picking Alexander Vermeer to upset Hop Sing Jung and become the NEW Island FC 145lb champion! Whole Card Picks: Finch, Dudley, Armstrong, Lang, Enkamp, Garcia, Foo, Bekua, Karlsson, Vermeer Good luck to all, Justin Credible…OUT!

  13. Week 5 Rundown Week 5 saw the EPL competition really tighten up the standings. Right now, 6 of the 14 competitors are one finish victory of moving into first place. Finishes are becoming rarer as managers adjust to EPL tactics. Week 5 contained as many draws as finishes as parity reigns. The two big winners last round, claiming 2 points, were Dickie Crash and Brandon Hale. Crash scored a huge upset with his KO headkick of Billy Beast. Crash has surged up the rankings the last two weeks with two wins after starting the tournament 0-3. Hale defeated the always exciting Bastien Harris in only 1:54. Harris had come into the fight suffering an injury but reports that he is injury free and ready to go for week 6. The DeVanzo/Gutz and Nikitin/Grice fights both were ruled a draw after ten minutes of hard fighting. Gutz surprised DeVanzo with an early takedown, but failed to take advantage of it. Despite having an advantage standing in the fight, DeVanzo shot in for a ill timed TD attempt and was countered and rocked by a beautiful flying knee from Gutz. Gutz was unable to capitalize, as DeVanzo was able to recover quickly and survive to score a draw on the scorecard. Nikitin and Grice had a long grinding grapple fest. Neither fighter was able to assert dominance in any facet of the fight. Grice edged out the striking and Nikitin was a little more effective as a grappler. It was a real hard fight to judge as all three judges scored the fight differently. Tantalus Flay was able to use his solid boxing game and smothering top control to dominate Hilton Teimosa in a one sided affair. Aznar Thrul was able to control Uusisto and use some dirty gnp to win a onesided victory over the veteran. Boris Gregorsvitiji handed Justin Hall a Muay Thai lesson in their fight as he won a lopsided victory over the winless fighter. Fights to watch in round 6: Flay vs Uusisto: Flay has hit his EPL stride and has put together a 3 fight win streak. Unfortunately for Flay, all have been decisions. He needs a finish to make a move up the rankings. Uusisto has held his own so far in competition, but next week may be a good opportunity to get a finish as this fight will likely end up on the ground where he is comfortable. Beast vs Gregorsivitiji: Doubt might be seeping in for Billy Beast. After losing his first two, he scored back to back victories but ran into a Dickie Crash headkick to end his night in week 5. A matchup vs EPL veteran Boris is not anyones idea of an easy bounce back fight. The matchup favors Beast, but the mental aspects of EPL may be a factor for the less proven fighter.

  14. The just incredible Justin Credible here with my thought and picks for today’s festivities put together by SP-ICON. They’re throwing 2 events in 1 day, and by the time they’re done Hilo will never be the same! There are a total of 15 fights taking place, so there is no way in hell I’m doing a review of all of them, I mean I’m a writer and all but I also have a life…Despite the rumors…Anyways, let’s get into it! One of the fights today that has me excited is Finn Balor V.S. Danny White! Two warriors doing what they do best in the cage. Under all the talk and comparisons this is in reality a Striker V.S Grappler match. Balor is a KO artist with 11 of his 24 wins coming by way of knockout, while Danny White has 9 of his 16 wins by submission. These men on paper are extremely evenly matched up. Oh, yes and one other thing, they’ve JUST fought each other! Their first fight went to the judges and many fans/critics believe that the judges did what they do best, got it wrong! Now… I personally thought they got it right, I had White winning rounds 1 and 3, but what do I know, I’m just an analyst who’s been watching/training/fighting in MMA his whole life, but aaaaanyways. This time around Finn Balor promises that the judges won’t be a factor in this one. He’s been quoted saying, “This time around I know he doesn’t want to strike with me, so I’m not worried about the little douche bag’s stand-up. I’m, going to be the aggressor in this fight and send him back into obscurity.” Danny White isn’t worried about his threats and promises it’ll be the same result, judges or no judges. He also has been clamoring for a title shot, and with another win (making it 3 in a row) it’ll be hard for the SP-ICON brass to ignore him. I’m picking Finn Balor to win this one and set-up a 3rd fight between these warriors! This next fight is going to be a BJJ fan’s dream, and judging by the online forums this one is highly anticipated, Pedro Lopez v Ceasar Morgan! These are two of the best grapplers in the world facing off today 26 submission victories between them, this one is going to be interesting. This fight is going to be highly technical and could force some unbelievable ground fighting. On the other hand it could be boring as hell, and force two great BJJ fighters to try their incredibly embarrassing stand-up games. I’m hoping for the former, not the latter. Pedro Lopez is a former champion who hopes to return to the top of the food chain, and knows he has a tough road to get there. Ceasar Morgan recently fought for the title in his last bout, he was a very game opponent and almost made it to the 5th round until a quick stoppage by the referee, which the fans in attendance weren’t too happy about. Many believe that a win tonight could put him into a No.1 contender fight in his next bout, but Pedro Lopez won’t be an easy task to handle. Morgan had this to say about his last fight, “For the record, I wasn’t out last fight, I was obviously just resting before the last round and why was I motionless? Because I wanted my body to rest, he hit me hard no doubt but I remember everything he was in mount hit me, then next thing I know I have smelling salts waking me up from my nap…Also I have self-diagnosed Narcolepsy, so yeah….” Hmmm….This fight is a tough one, I’m picking Pedro Lopez to take home the W in this one! A 145lb title fight between Bruce Armstrong v Eliah Marshal is one of our MAIN EVENTS today, and it is going to be a WAR! One man is a former 145lb champion who recently avenged his loss, the other is the current 145lb kingpin and will be looking to solidify his reign. This fight has the potential be a fight of the year candidate, Bruce Armstrong has very underrated stand-up and an elite submission game, while Eliah Marshal is an all-around stud with no glaring weaknesses. Both men have been in their own fair share of battles and will be looking to add another high profile name to their list of accomplishments. Bruce Armstrong is mainly a submission fighter who doesn’t shy away from trading punches in bunches and has champion experience. He says he is comfortable with wherever the fight takes place, clinch, pocket, and ground, doesn’t matter. He said, “I’ve held this title before and I’ll hold it again, I hope he under estimates my stand-up cause I’ll be happy to disappoint him. I’ll show him that I’ve improved greatly since my last fight and after I take his title I’ll let him come to my gym and teach him Jiu-Jitsu. Eliah Marshal is a 33 year old veteran with 49 fights already, 50 after this one. Many believe he may be coming to the end of his illustrious career, but Eliah Marshal thinks differently, “If I was out there taking beatings I’d agree, but I’m not, I’m the one giving them. I’m going to make Brucie my personal mission, and use him as a platform to show the world I’m still lethal and far from the end of my career!” With 18 KO’s to his credit, he sees himself adding another one to the record books, and so do I, Eliah Marshal for the win! Our other card features an odd number of fights (6), but has some intriguing matches I’ll start with Marcello Trudeau v Sara McSlamm! Two veterans, two legends, two battle tested warriors going toe to toe in an epic clash of titans! How’s THAT for a fight promo? Sara McSlamm is the former Super-Heavyweight champion, but is also on a two fight losing streak which hasn’t boded well for his self-confidence. While his friends, family, and fans are pleading with the future hall of famer to hand up the gloves, he isn’t ready to do that quite yet. He believes he still has one more title run in him. His opponent is another fighter who commands respect from the MMA community, with over 50 fights to his name, at 40 years of age his circle is also calling for retirement. Marcello Trudeau thinks he too has a title run in him and it starts with beating Sara McSlamm. Trudeau has been all over social media calling out sand taunting McSlamm, even going as far as asking him what his parents were thinking by naming him Sara (fair question). Marcello Trudeau is confident he can get back to his exciting and winning ways here in SP-ICON and many fans in Hilo are eager to watch his debut! I’m picking one of my personal favorites in this one, Sara McSlamm! In what many describe as a No.1 contender fight, Charles Cooper v JR Adams is our Co-Main Event! This fight is very interesting and could be the fight of the night, as a matter of fact, this is my pick for fight of the night, write that shit down… Charles Cooper is a 35 year old veteran who’s had a back and forth career which hit a high note in August when he fought then champion Arial Jones, but came up short. He’s rebounded for that loss and believes this is his last shot at another run for gold.In my interview with Mr. Cooper he said, “At 35 years old you have to start looking into life after fighting, especially after you’ve been in the amount of wars I’ve been in. It’s an unfortunate reality, but I’m looking out for my future. I’m going to give it one last chance, depending how this fight goes, I’ll evaluate my future.” JR Adams is a full-time pastor as well as a full-time MMA fighter. He is the former EFC 185lb champion and was once named the top prospect in MMA, he is making his SP-ICON debut with this fight and will certainly be looking to make a statement. He has vowed to send Charles Cooper into retirement after this fight. JR Adams is certainly one of the most high profile fighters on the card and with a win he might need to watch our Main Event closely because many think with a win in this fight, he may be facing the champion. I’m picking JR Adams to win this fight, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see an upset. OUR MAIN EVENT! This one is another potential ‘Fight of the Year’ candidate! Lester Jangles v Thomas Raven for the 185lb strap! Just thinking of this fight gives me a chubby, and if it’s not the same with you, then YOU have the problems, not me! Both men on winning streaks, and both men have come a long way and have left a bloody trail of bodies behind them. Challenger Thomas Raven is on a 4 fight win streak that has seen him beat a who’s who of SP-ICON contenders and with the exception of one, he has made it all look easy. He is a stand-up extraordinaire with 14 (T)KO’s to his name. His footwork and angle cutting is very impressive, as well as his hand speed and combinations. What may play the difference here is his nerves, this is his first title fight, as well as his first time going (potentially) 5 rounds. His last fight showed us he has heart, but it also showed us his conditioning needs a little work, will that be the difference? We’ll find out later today! Lester Jangles is one of the most popular fighter in SP-ICON and it’s not hard to figure out why. He has charisma, cool nickname, great team, and above all else an exciting fighting style! With 19 (T)KO’s to his name to go along with his two, yes I said TWO title belts he has a target on his head (No pun intended)! Current CCF title holder and current SP-ICON 185 champ, Lester Jangles is a super star, but he has made a vow to not let the stardom get into his head (looking at you Conor). This 36 year old monster is destined for the hall of fame, but he’s said he’ll never let his life outside the cage to affect him inside of it, “I keep those things separate, people like to think because I do commercials and interviews and have been in a few movies that I’m not as dedicated to MMA, well I’ll make sure to shut them the hell up on the 13th. Thomas Raven, I’m sorry.” I’m definitely picking Lester Jangles to win this fight. Thank You for reading (if you did, and if not then, F*** You)! Justin Credible, out….Picks Below West, Harris, Cabrillo, Stark, Titanus, Balor, Lopez, Marshal. Pain, Phoenix, Toney, McSlamm, Adams, Jangles

  16. After coming on strong towards the end of 2015, I am deeming 2016 the Year of the Little Guys! Looking at the most recent rankings, the lighter weight classes (135-155) have never been so dominant. Of the top 100 fighters currently in the game, 26 of them have fought at Lightweight or below. I want to highlight some of the guys that we all know and a few that could be future top 10 fighters........... http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/34/34w4.jpg Tuomari Hurmio (19-2) #1 P4P The #1 ranked fighter in the world, is just entering his prime at 28 years old. The former Troid Featherweight champion has been on fire since losing his title in August of 2015. Shortly after losing his title he entered the Winter Olympics as Troid's representative and battled his way to the Featherweight Gold Medal. Notable Wins: Donny Donowitz, John Jamison, Puntti Manne, John Robertson http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14526435602130.jpg Ron Lemieux (36-8-1) #5 P4P Out classing every bantamweight he has faced over the last eleven months, winning the MFN Bantamweight and Featherweight titles. The Winter Olympics Bantamweight Gold Medalist hasn't lost since his return back to his natural weight class. Lemieux was a huge underdog going into the opening round of the Olympics before beating a man, who many believe to be unstoppable, in Lil Wayne. Notable Wins: Lil Wayne, Zoran Markovic, Ice Drago, Eugene Judd http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14106008433182.png Hector Camacho (26-4) #10 P4P Another young gun, the 27 year old Camacho goes back and forth between Lightweight and Welterweight, whatever keeps him fighting. Having fought some big names (Wayne, Donowitz) at such a young age, Camacho will no doubt be among the elite for a very long time. Notable Wins: Ricky Rocker, Dennis Page, Daniel O'Sullivan http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14233953628691.jpg Akeen Coker (17-3) #64 P4P The first man I consider to be the future, Coker made a name for himself fighting in UNFC and becoming their Lightweight and Featherweight champion. Having recently signed to CEC, he is taking a big step up in competition and there is even a rumor that Coker and Camacho are looking face each other very soon. Notable Wins: Shogun Iron Tyson, Idi oCrazy, Ruud Gullit http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13975558442301.png Edward Scissorhands (23-5-2) #70 P4P The current EVO Featherweight champion isn't quite a household name like a few of his stable mates (Lil Wayne, Vanilla Ice Cold), he will no doubt be on quite a few radars by mid-year. Making a name for himself coming up through Destiny, Scissorhands was nothing short of dominant, winning 14 consecutive fights at one point. Notable Wins: John Jamison, Tuju Kilju

  20. Broken or not I think that depends on the manager. I too suck with the ground sliders but I know managers who dominate with them so clearly they are doing something everyone else isn't Lets assume you get the takedown into full guard, that's the default position where the top guy is slighly the favourite because he has top position but is otherwise considered a neutral position in the game. From here you can really get to any other position but it's less chance to get to a great position like full mount, which is the best position (or the back depending on how you see things) The normal order however is: fullguard --> half guard -- > side control --> full mount ---> back (if the opponant rolls over) but like I said, you can go straight from full guard --> full mount too but it's less likely and often comes from opponant making a misstake and you countering it. Here you can find the ground hierarchy aswell as some instructions: http://www.mmatycoon.info/index.php?title=Fight_tactics http://www.mmatycoon.info/images/a/a7/Ground_hierarchy.gif So the way it works is that it first looks at your Aggressive vs counter slider to determine if you are going to do a move or not. From the image you can see all offensive moves are done from aggressive standpoints. I'm going to try and walk you through the hierarchy and see if we can make it a bit more clear. From aggressive standpoint Your fighter is looking to make a move, he is being the aggressive - Opponant will there for be in defensive mode looking to possibly counter Before your fighter does anything the game looks at the stay on ground or get up - This is not an absolut slider meaning 50% stand up will not generate a stand up every other move. But the higher the get up the higher chance that he will try and attempt to get up. If he does try to get up the aggressive move is over. He either gets up or he fails. If the move was stay on ground he'll get to the next step. Finish Vs Control. If he uses control he will look to tie up his opponant, this can be good for various reasons but essentially you are making a defensive move from an active position. You are trying to control your position, your opponant etc. If this move is done the aggressive action is completed and done. if finish was performed in the previous step instead of control your fighter will now look at if he will attempt to throw strikes or improve his position. Now we are at the layer where your fighter actually preforms an action activly on the ground. If your fighter uses advance position he now looks to try and improve his position from whatever position he is in. from top his next most likely move would be to try and advance into half guard or side control depending on his success. He could go to mount but it's not very likely. Once this is done his action is over. Your fighter decided to go for a strike/sub in the previous step - He now is looking to do some damage. This aswell is not an absolute slider and going for submissions having 65% submissions doesn't mean he'll just go for submission like a mad man but that he will more likely look for the submission. Yes you can subspam and that is being done at times to but the higher the % submission the less likely he will perform a good submission. If you are looking for gnp the % will be higher towards ground strikes and this will be simular to how you throw a punch when in a standup fight. So to be able to preform an action in the "5th" layer your fighter has to go through the sequence of actions to the left in the picture. If one move is selected to the right the action ends there and it starts all over again. The ground top vs ground bottom slider can play an important part aswell as to how your fighter will perform. If it's high on top position and your fighter is on the ground in dissadvantage position he will try and sweap/roll his opponant to get to the top position more often so when he's trying an advance position he might go from bottom half guard to top half guard instead of progressing to bottom full guard. This is dictated by the top vs bottom slider. Having high top position will also mean your fighter will not like to be on his back and things like dropping back for a heel hook will not be possible. if he has top possition with high ground bottom he is much more likely to drop back and go for a heel hook, assuming he either makes an active submission attempt or a counter submission hope I didn't confuse you even more

  22. http://s5.postimg.org/i2dv6xe9f/image.jpg "Prince" Yngve Stolt Tupa Dufus I am the Prince of Tycoon and will be King of Tycoon one day. Tycoon is my kingdom, RCG my castle and the octagon is my torture chamber. You will soon learn that it is not wise to step inside a torture chamber with a big mouth and upset the owner of the chamber. I will go down in the history books as a legend and you will be in the history books as the first fighter that got his head kicked of from his body.

  25. The lower weight classes offer more diversity + the better managers prefer to rely less on luck (ie KO power or a poor chin), so there has been a shift among the better managers to create 135-155lbs fighters. The other advantage is they can often compete in 2 or even 3 weight classes, although that is less of a factor.

  29. IMO coaches make way to much a week. As it stands righ now a triple elite coach makes 7250 a week. 6 days a week. That turns into $377,000 a year. Do MMA coaches make that in RL.

  32. After long careers, their injuries have piled up, age has taken it's toll and I don't do them justice with time spent setting proper training and game planning any more. Two of the greatest ever have decided to retire today after their final victories over great opponents. Rinky Spider and Bowser Stormcrow are calling it a career and finishing at #1 in their respective weight classes, and both in the top 10 P4P where they have resided for a few years now. Rinky and Bowser have had some great rivalries along with way and thanks to everyone who participated. Cheers!

  35. Ozzy wasn't tapping due to strikes, he was calling for a timeout because he got poked in the eye. Jintao is classless for not letting him recover from the illegal eye poke.

  36. Bowser Stormcrow retires; ducks Ozzy "Insane" McKane ... Not so long ago Ozzy McKane became famous for knocking out Bowser Stormcrow and BHP Manager Estefan Chiscano - video here - Estefan Chiscano remained in a coma for several months, but Bowser had a speedy recovery. Ozzy has been calling Bowser out for several years, in which Bowser pointed to MMA ranking and hype. Now that Ozzy is ranked in the top 3 of his weight class, he's still got a bone to pick and called Bowser out, and Bowser responded by retiring and fleeing to the Bahamas in the middle of the night. Sources close to him state that he couldn't bare the humiliation of another loss to the Irish fighter, and that his manager simply wasn't good enough to combat the strategic wit of Chris Karter. Fans all over are disappointed that the rivalry ended on such short notice, but nobody is surprised by the ducking ability of a BHP affiliated manager and fighter.
