  1. I would think you could do a lot of copy/paste from groundwork here - positions would include underhooked, over-under ( one underhook for each fighter), 2 underhooks, back against the cage/corner, opponent against cage/corner, and Muay Thai Plum/DIrty boxing collar tie. You would work towards the plum if your sliders were for striking in the clinch and towards underhooks if your sliders favor takedowns.

  2. A spectre is haunting MMATycoon – the spectre of The [insert number here] Musketeers. The following harrowing interview was conducted by our brave journalist, Trent McReporterson. http://www.icrewz.com/wp-content/files/Multi-Media-News-Reporter.jpg The first emotion I felt as I entered the den of the fearsome Musketeers was, naturally, one of intimidation. These swashbuckling rapscallions decreed from on high their intentions in no uncertain terms. As I entered Ryan Epicity was on the tail end of a clearly rousing speech “The Iron is hot! The time to strike is nigh! The game is ours!” he bellowed. I had anticipated that my reporting from Beirut and Fallujah would prepare me for the most frightening this world had to offer. I was wrong. I made my way up to the most handsome of the Musketeers, one G Wad. Already on edge by the sheer magnitude of his presence, I fumbled out the following question in a manner unbecoming of a professional journalist. "Ehh Sir Wad. Your new alliance is really something isn’t it?" Raising his eyebrows in a subtle yet telling fashion, he surveyed me from head to toe as a shiver ran down my spine. At long length he replied, in a calm but firm voice, “The name is Sir G Wad and I would ask you kindly to avert your gaze when you address me, peasant.” Not a good start but if my extensive interviews with the Mujahideen has taught me anything, it is that you must press on. He mercifully turned his head for a moment to order another flagon of ale which allowed me to collect myself. “Quite right,” I said, as he turned around. I hurriedly reached into my bag to grab a notebook into which I buried my head for the rest of the interview so as not to further antagonize this spectacle of a man. “Tell me about your new alliance then, good sir.” “And what an alliance it is!” he said, now quite animated, and took a huge gulp out of his flagon. “This is not an alliance that will compete for the top. We are the top. People are already flocking from hither and thither to pay tribute to our magnificence.” I could not argue with the man but I had come here for a story, not PR. I wanted to judge his reaction to other esteemed voices in the Tycoon community. “What do you make of all this business between Ryan, yourself and CK? I have seen him post in increased frequency these last few days,” I asked. “Who?” Replied G Wad? “Chris Karter?”, I said, slightly taken aback. G Wad then beckoned to the barmaid who promptly brought him a few papers which he quickly began perusing. He was searching for a good 2 minutes before a quick query with the barmaid elucidated that this document was a list of full manager rankings. Finally, he said, “I can’t find him.” “Maybe try the second page” I said, reassuringly. G Wad let out a vocal grunt and said “I never knew there was a second page.” Finally, down near the bottom, at rank 108, G Wad found him. “Oh that guy, yea sure. Truly remarkable knowledge of statistics, if I recall correctly. What of him?” “Do you have any comments on some of his recent posts?” “I try not to pay too much attention to rabble rousers,” he replied, dismissively. “But you have to admit he carries a large reputation. Most in the community would be proud to be compared to the man,” I said, hoping this would stoke a reaction. G Wad calmly flicked a speck of dust from his tunic and said, “So CK is the standard of excellence in men now? I would argue that that is an overly generous barometer for a street cretin let alone our elite troupe. If you take CK’s unenviable characteristics as a sort of average, you would have to conclude that 90% of the population is ‘tall’ and 99% of the population is ‘well-endowed’.” Stealing another glance at G Wad’s face I added, “You didn’t mention anything about the hair.” G Wad recoiled slightly before replying, “I try not to dwell on things that make me nauseous. Next question please.” Pressing on, as this was the story I had been tasked to uncover, I said “There have been other trolls who have said…” Cutting me off before I could finish, G Wad, back to his more dismissive tone, said, “If you are referring to Shiftas, you must be having a laugh to even consider him as such. In fairness to him I heard that Wolf and Aaron lowered his IQ attribute to 10. The lowest it’s supposed to go is 75. Some say that that was how they got caught.” “Hmm, that explains the rumors I heard about him and his best friend Rain Thunder. I heard that their favorite thing to do is sit together for hours and count each other brain cells,” I replied. An astonished G Wad, retorted, “I am surprised that they can count to 6.” “That’s why it takes them hours”, I answered, nodding. All this talk of lesser members of the Tycoon community had clearly caused G Wad to lose interest. “Anyway, I think that will be all for today,” he said, turning his back. With nothing left to do, I slunk out… [update: At the moment this interview was conducted Christopher Karter had, what we call in the industry, a shit rank. We would like to congratulate him on his remarkable overachievement to get within 50 ranks of the lowest ranked Musketeer]

  3. http://mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1480346178010.jpg LFC 10 - Double Header Tonight on MMA Hype, Jared Asante and Brett Clarke are discussing the biggest and baddest event in LFC’s history, the 10th official event that will feature 2 title fights. Vacant welterweight and light heavyweight belts are on the line, so this is going to be one hell of an event. Here’s Jared and Brett. -- -- -- Jared Asante: Good evening ladies and gentlemen! We are currently sitting inside LFC’s newest event location, the Hyashi’s Lounge in Los Angeles, and we’re ready to discuss and analyze LFC 10, the biggest event by far. This event has 2 title fights, and the potential to create a couple more contenders. Brett Clarke: That’s right Jared, the welterweight and light heavyweight titles are on the line, so we can easily expect those 2 fights to be total war. All fighters want to become the first LFC champ of their divisions, and this is where it’s happening. Here’s who will be fighting in the undercard at LFC 10: Undercard: 205 lbs - Nico Salas v Yuriy Kuznetmedov 185 lbs - Kagiso Habana v Vertti Ekstrovertti 185 lbs - Quintin Navarro v Dean Wesson 185 lbs - Stergios Grivas v Michail Vitokin 170 lbs - Stevie West v Srey Samorn Due to the lack of time, we’ll jump right to the main card of LFC 10. 155 lbs - Alex Taibo v Full Eye Yong Brett: First fight of the undercard, we start it off with 2 guys who want to get back to the winning ways. Alex Taibo will be at his third LFC bout, losing his last one to top contender of the division, so he has the chance to get back on track with a win here. Being a well rounded fighter helps him a lot in all aspects of the game, but he needs the time to set up his gameplan and hit where his opponent is weaker. We’re still not certain how durable he can be in a fight, but he’s extremely motivated for this one, we can expect him to go big. Full Eye Yong started his amateur career extremely well, but had a different outcome when he made it to pro. His first LFC bout ended up in him being demolished for 15 minutes, but we saw a lot of heart in him. Like his opponent, Yong is well rounded, favoring his striking game, and he knows a win here will be big for him, since it will throw him up in the division and make him a serious threat for a future shot at the title. Jared: This is a pretty even matchup, despite the age difference. Yong hits hard for his size and has the durability of a duracell battery. The only thing that could save Taibo in this fight is a perfect gameplan. He will need to keep his chin up and outlast his opponent. 155 lbs - Eli Barkio v Jeremy Heathen Brett: Another lightweight bout in this mix, Eli Barkio is still looking for his first professional victory, and this has been very hard on his morale and energy. Barkio has been having a good training camp, but we fear that he’s been working way too hard for what he should have. We went to see him at his gym, he look like he havn’t showered in days, and boy did he look tired. The good thing is, he wants to win badly, and all that hard work could very well pay off if he can execute the perfect gameplan. On the other side, Jeremy Heathen will be one hell of a tough opponent for him. Heathen has been on and off since his debut, racking up a record of 3-2, but his most recent LFC win has made him proud and gave him the motivation he needed to keep going. He’s very confident about this fight, and says he’s focused and will be ready both mentally and physically once he steps in the cage. The boxer wants to get a quick KO and get in line for the lightweight title. Jared: A win here would be very big for Heathen, putting him on a 2 fight win streak. It won’t be easy, because Barkio is a mean dude that will do anything for that first win though. I think those guys will stand in front of each others and just land bombs until one just drops unconscious. At least that’s what I want to see. 185 lbs - Neyman Gariniho v Tua Hohepa Brett: Here comes the young guns, trying to make a statement and start their way to the top of the middleweight ladder. Neyman Gariniho’s only loss is against a guy that has been busted for PEDs a couple weeks ago, so we can say he’s technically undefeated. Gariniho is one hell of a skilled Muay thai fighter, and we saw those skills in his last fight, when he punished his opponents with all sorts of strikes to finally get the TKO win. He’s a dangerous and unpredictable striker, which makes him quite the threat, but has still a lot to prove due to his young age. He’ll be facing young sensation Tua Hohepa who’s clearly on a mission, judging by his last LFC bout. He pretty much dominated a boxer that was more skilled on paper, and he did that by using his own boxing skills. He’s another young fighter who still needs to prove himself, but we think he has the motivation and determination needed to accomplish big things, starting tonight. Jared: I think this bout could potentially be a fan favorite. We’re talking about 2 fighters who have a ton of potential, and they have an excellent background, along with great teammates, it could be a start to a long and great career for both of them, win or lose tonight. http://mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20160911114812Belt.jpg 205 lbs - Yavor Stanchev v Hero Galanos Brett: Co-main event of the evening! A light heavyweight championship fight for the vacant title, both fighters have been under the radar ever since they signed to the LFC. Experts predicted that they would face each other for the title, and here we are! Yavor Stanchev has been around since day 1 of the LFC, and has already racked up 2 FOTN awards, making him the most popular LFC fighter as of now. He’s been craving for that belt ever since he signed his contract, so tonight is his time to shine. He’s faced tough competition already, so he’s clearly ready to take on this big matchup and use his experience to his advantage. The “Perfectionist” will be looking to prove once again, that his nickname is not just something he was given, but something he’s earned. #2 contender Hero Galanos has been handling pressure extremely well during the past few weeks. Ever since the title fight was booked, he kept his cool and gave it all during his training camp. His perfect record is at risk in this championship matchup, but nothing to worry him, since he’s got the background to support him. His teammates have seen a lot of shit, so he knows where to go for advices, this could be a huge advantage for him, but we still have to see how this will translate once he steps in the cage. He’s got a huge wrestling advantage over his boxing opponent, but this will only matter if the fight reaches the mat. Jared: It’s a tough one to call, but I’d say it doesn’t go further than the first round. Only saying this because of the advantages they have over each other. Whoever takes the control early on in the fight should get the win, it’s just a matter of timing. http://mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20160911114812Belt.jpg 185 lbs - Tom Campbells v Nick Tuke Brett: Main event of the evening, the middleweight vacant title is on the line! These fighters don’t have as much LFC experience as you’d think, but they already proved that they deserve to be champions, this is why they are fighting for that belt tonight. Tom Campbells showed us what he’s made of in his last fight, when he fought a top KT fighter, and he managed to dominated him both in the standup and clinch, which pretty much impressed the whole LFC staff, which explains his current status. Campbells is a versatile striker, and he’ll need to apply a perfect gameplan if he wants to run home with the championship belt after the fight. We know he’s got the talent to edge a victory, but the fight won’t be easy. He’s facing Nick Tuke, who’s been gunning for the title for a while, showing a record of 6-1, all wins via first round (T)KOs, this guy means business. Tuke is another guy who doesn’t have that much LFC experience, but his amateur career is quite impressive, along with his LFC debut, where he only needed 13 seconds to say goodnight to his opponent. You don’t want to get punched in the face by that guy, and it usually plays in his opponents’ heads, which always favors him. He’ll have the whole crowd cheering for his, cause he fights to please. Jared: This is going to be an all out war man. Fight of the night candidates? I believe so, it could be the first time that Tuke has to fight past the first round, so we don’t know how well he can handle that. Nevertheless, can’t wait to watch and comment on that fight. That’s a wrap folks, have a good one!

Hey Mr.Taco how's it going huh? TS: First thing first Vic, I have more experience in social media and how dare you hire me as a co-host? How rude! MV: I'm sorry Taco I am the head of the show, if you want to dethrone me, just come and fight motherfucker! (The show has postponed for 3 hours and now it's on again!) MV: Hey what's up Tycooniverse, welcome to MMA Masterpiece NEWS, sorry for the unexpected technical error and now we're back! TS: Wow Vic your straight right isn't that bad, can I continue on with two black eyes? MV: You can even continue on with five tacos on your mouth, two burritos in your ass so no worries. How about we go straight into the topic now......the recap of the Island season so far! TS: Hey Vic are you supposed to recap the whole fucking thing? MV: Nah brother, it's all about the Revolution Island! TS: Oh my god! Jviejdjienfudisjjso! MV: Sorry Taco, what you just said? I am sorry for your twisted tongue. TS: I am way too excited for this since I don't even have draft! MV: You are not even prepared? Then just stay here, watch and learn. TS: Fuck my social media experience...... MV: Revolution Island, currently #1 fight organization on Island, has already held 26 events since 9th Sep. When you're scratching your ass and thinking why it's the top dog, the reason is that guy with a big dick......Jay Tycooooooooooooooon! He's done a lot so far in this season, making some badass posters and shit too. TS: Wait...did you just say my boss has a big cock? MV: Yeah and it's confirmed not more than 10 hours ago by him. Still waiting for the picture. Revolution Island has 246 fights so far with 53.7% of them ended by (T)KO! That's more than half. I can see a lot of knockout artists here that's why this org is the top dog! You guys love knockouts don't ya huh? TS: Jiu-Jitsu is officially dead. Yippie! MV: Tell that to Demian Maia. Back to topic, I will be covering something significant and record holders in Revolution Island. Hey Taco do you remember anything significant happened so far in the org? TS: Um........I was hosting my show to interview the fighters? MV: Come on! You don't even need drafts to remember them! The significant event do you remember it? TS: Can I leave? MV: Just stay here dummy! Revolution Island was developing very well since it's started. It met it's first peak on 10th Nov. The first historical event: Anarchy Beach had four title fights and ended in spectacular fashion. TS: I remember I attended in this event before and I shit my pants 6 times. MV: It has nothing to do with the show Taco! Despite having four title fights, the event rating has yet to reach it's peak until the event on 26 Nov - Show Money which had 215.72 event rating with three title fights. I guess it's the start of Revolution Island's true peak Taco. TS: Yeah, my boss' business is the best! Revolution Island is the best! Taco knows. MV: So far all the stuffs you know aren't helping the show, unfortunately. Revolution Island has had great events to make it the top dog but the fighters are also top dogs, that's how top dogs breed top dogs. Hey Taco who's the best fighter in Revolution Island now? TS: Um...I am. MV: You are not even the best fighter named Taco. Now two of the best fighters here are Brock Lesner and...Brock Lesnar but one of them is the first and only Hall of Famer in Revolution Island so far! TS: Brock Lesnar and Brock Lesnar? So who's the the imposter? MV: They are completely different people! The reigning and defending FW king Brock Lesnar won his crown in his Revolution Island debut and defended the crown four times. He then got the crown back and lost it again, then reclaimed the crown yet again! TS: So that makes him a four time champion. MV: Only threeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Can you stop showing your stupidity Taco? Lesnar appeared in all historical and best rated events in the org and only has title fights, that's how make you a top dog: keep fighting the best contender and beat the taco out of them. TS: What? MV: Alright Tycooniverse, I personally love something that you might not love. I love records. Whoever breaks a record, a nice and hard erection comes up. I am really proud to let you guys know the record holders in Revolution Island until today. TS: The most handsome fighter is Taco Stiffy and the ugliest one is Giacomo Greco. MV: Hey Taco do you remember you almost got punched by his brother Giovanni when you were asking stupid questions in your show? Just watch your mouth man. TS: I am watching it with my portable mirror. My mouth is too beautiful. MV: Our best record holder is the Hall of Famer Brock Lesnar! He has most fights in the org with nine fights, in fact, nine title fights! TS: Impressivo! MV: He only lost two fights so he won seven of them, the highest ammount of wins in Revolution Island so far. Actually all of his wins are by way of submission! Seven submission wins is a complete standout here. TS: So who has the most knockout wins? MV: Brock Lesnar! TS: Which fucking one again? MV: The HW champion Brock Lesnar! And also Jamason Brown ties with six knockout wins. TS: Most decisions? MV: Georges St-Pierre! Oh sorry no, five fighters tied with two decision wins. See? That's how we produce finishes! TS: I think they will bypass GSP in the furure. MV: Hell naw. And you just mentioned future. How about we're predicting the future of Revolution Island Taco. You don't need a fucking draft for that, come on you go first. TS: Um...I think Revolution Island will grow bigger and bigger and so does my boss' cock. MV: Really? That's your prediction? Honestly how could you even once host your show! Your vagueness is just incredibly overloaded. What happened to you Taco? Did you eat too many tacos and burritos? TS: I told you I'm not prepared. MV: So you still think you deversed to be a host here? You are ruining the whole show since the beginning you motherfucker! (The show has postponed for 3 hours and now it's on again!) MV: I am sorry folks we're back! TS: Now my lips are swelling! You pay the surgery bill for me Vic! MV: Shut the fuck up or your asshole is swelling. I am predicting a bright future for Revolution Island and I sense something legendary happens. I believe an event involved all current champs will happen soon and this org will remain the top dog status until the season ends, how about that? TS: Sounds sweet! MV: Fighters will break records after records, event rating will break records after records, event significance will break records after records and Jay Tycoon's dick length will break his lifetime record! (Show's off radio in all of sudden.) #RevIslandthetopdog #JayTycoonhasabigdickanditwillgrowandgrowandgrowandgrowandgrowuntiltheendoftime

  20. Dude, what are we suppose to give time? We gave Conor time already, he has already made his mark in MMA. He made Mendez look like a kid. The Aldo first minute win, the comeback win against Diaz (in a division he has no business fighting in) and then the domination of another champ in Alvarez. On top of that he is a showman which fans buy into, with arguably the best promotions in MMA history together with Sonnen. He can go 0-5 from now on but it wont matter because he has already made his mark. I agree that the hype does not match his ability, i think that is what you are trying to debate here. I mean, on paper he is technically the best fighter ever, because he is making the biggest checks and breaking all the PPV figures. He is on the verge of making MMA a major international sport. People talk about the growth of MMA, but in reality, MMA fighters make peanuts in comparison to other major sports, while having relatively shorter careers. Conor is one of those guys which has the style, character and attitude to attract the passive fan. Some people forget that MMA is also an entertainment, not just a fighting sport. They still need to sell tickets like any other sport and Conor sells tickets. If Conor was overrated, the UFC would not had made him the highest paid fighter in their history and he has not even hit 30y of age, they know what they are doing, where as you do not know what you are rambling about.

It clearly states in the tournament rules that fighters must be 18yo's. Well, it is very evident that this clown trying to say he's only 18yo is full of shit, as anyone with an once of common sense can tell. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/28/28b8.jpg Samuel Sativa Now I ask. How many 18yo's has a bald head and a beard like this. It's clear that Sonny Muchacho is so desperate that he's trying to bring in a ringer to beat me. Sorry sonny, but you must bring much more than this to beat me, after all I am the future Junior Master of KT 3 - Third Strike. aka....Future champion of all KT. I've noticed you are training in Amsterdam and that's fine. But that shows just how scared you are since you have full rains to come to my private gym here in Hilo. What;s wrong, you afraid that I might see your little pos fighter can't find his own shadow, or can't lift 100lbs past his ageing gut? I'm seriously thinking about wearing some Hell Bent Clothing when I beat your ass down in rnd 1, just think of the irony of that. Sonny's fighter gets KO'd by Axxl Rose while wearing Sonny's clothing. Look at the bright side, if I do decide to wear your raggedy clothing, at least you get some recognition, but then again, is that the kind of recognition you want? You know, maybe after this beat down you'll be so impressed with my ability's you'll start a new line of Hell Bent Clothing. The Axxl Rose Line.....Limited edition, of course.

He choked me out, I must admit but how about you? I can knock you the fuck out if I met you in person. You're only a skinny asshole with that goofy suit on. "
