  3. The Supernova Video is done, and all I can say is that John has really outdone himself with this one. I'll let him post it when he is fully done with it, but in all honesty, the best piece of work I've seen on MMAT in a long time.

  4. SyFi Weekend Recap A story of two sides, 3 great Events for SyFi, all near or above the 150 rating wise, and full Arenas for all Events, however, the ranking on Sunday Afternoon shows 21, so outside of the major Criteria all wanted to achieve, but let's look at the Action: Friday: The Main and cO-Main Event are big indicators for the 205 Division, with Former Champion Camara getting a TKO over new signing Arseworth, and Melvin Comeau beating Mujahid Jackson, both this fighters will soon face off in their quest at a title shot. Mauro Carnera in more 205 action defeated Sheamus Meallan, to qualify for a fight against Title Holder Mister McNasty, some stipulations have interfered however, and currently that fight is classed as non-title. Managers are still discussing stipulations, the heavy hitters also took center stage in the card, Vovchavchyn and Wills won in impressive fashion, and will face off for a shot at a title fight soon. Fight of the night: Charlie Villenueva vs Andrew Brown KO of the night: Bwana Mkubwa Sub of the night: Mauro Carnera Saturday: 10 fights and not a single submission, thats rare in SyFi Action, but happened Saturday, in the cage, it was 205 Champ McNasty defending his belt in Style with a 2nd round KO. 145 Champ Илья Муромец didn't have such a good day, beaten by Sergei Geng he lost his title in his 2nd Defense. Afterwards it was tough to understand the scenes, but it seems Sergei Gengs Manager currently is missing, and unless he soon will return, it may prevent a quick return to the cage for Sergei Geng. In other cage action, at 155 Murphy Brown and Chief Thunder Rolls got important victories, both fighters are eager to get involved in title contention soon. Fight of the night: Che Huu Mo vs Bernardo De Barros KO of the night: Cal Riven Sunday: On Sunday all fights eneded by KO, TKO or Submission, the judges didn't have a word. In the Main Event Akimbo Spice regained a title he held under different name and management. Genady Golovkin tried to handle him with all his experience, but with the start of Round 2 Akimbo exploded and won the title. At 185 Joey Hatton and Victor Creed scored valuable wins, while Hatton will soon be a name to consider in the title race. Creed aged 19 will be slowly build up by his management. In a fight of KO Artists at 265 it was Ross Barkley in his first fight at SyFi to beat Travis Dillon and punch himself a ticket to a fight with Poster Boy Rick Piano. Fight of the night: Joey Hatton vs Jack Anvile KO of the night: Jamison Cassidy Sub of the night: Victor Creed

  6. Hey guys, Yes I am still alive, and no, not here to announce I am back to making avatars on the regular again.Sorry! I want to thank you all for the support and demand for my graphics, and of course with the awards last year as well! The reason I am not back making graphics constantly here is because of work, with some changes at work I am helping out with a bunch more graphic duties there (I do not work as a graphic designer, nor is the company a graphics company, I just got asked to do advertising, website, etc). So if I spend hours on hours there designing things, the will to look at half naked men and slapping a face on them is simply not there. I am planning to do more work here again in the future, but right now I can't really tell you when. I may do the occasional request on the side, but even that can take a while to be done. - John

  9. Looks like that win set's Super Heavyweight up for another crack at Tower's heavyweight championship belt. Nice effort from Android Seventeen who, with such a record of KO's, was always in with a chance but I knew it would be tough when S.Heavyweight Ko'd previously unfinished Serpico. That damn clinch is deadly. Interesting to see whether he can do better offensively in his return fight. Was surprised Tuong beat Sizarro as I thought the wrestler would have the advantage but nope. Great win for Tuong. Also for Matteo Boretti to get a well earned decision of experienced vet Chara Zaad. Went toe to toe and came out the better man on the night. It's getting hard to watch former champion and IFC hall of famer Ricky Hughes fall to loss after loss. Don't see how he can turn things around from here. Nice scalp for the youngster Neville Southall in his IFC debut

  11. If you look at upcoming cards, either from the front page or from clicking on top fighters from the rankings lists, you will see a little plus button next to the fight. If you click that it bookmarks the fight for you to read once it's happened, and you can click either view or pbp to watch it "live". At the bottom of the spoilers page is a link to your bookmarked fights. Other bits and pieces just means other stuff! Like searching for clothes for my fighters to wear, buying supplements for them to take, raising my coaches wages, checking my record against other managers, choosing walkout songs and writing bios for my guys, etc.

  14. New Jersey MMA - Official Rankings (22nd April 2018) 135lbs (327k) Champ) Uchimura Nakata (4-0, W,W,W,W) #1 (1) Preston Mason (5-1, W, W,W,W,L) #2 (2) Marvin Meep (3-1, W,W,L,W) #3 (3) Sanka Coffie (3-1, L,W,W,W) #4 Jake Iceman (3-0, W,W,W) #5 Tahjet Davimenikov (2-1, W,L,W) #6 Sergei Petrov (2-2, L,W,W,L) 7 (4) Keith Hector (2-2, L,L,W,W) - FA #8 Diego Carlitto (2-2, L,W,L,W) #9 Peter Kropotkin (1-0, W) #10 Cayson McDevlin (0-1, L) The newly crowned 135lbs division just got it's first #1 contender after Preston Mason picked up his forth win in a row over a now unrepresented Keith Hector. Mason is 5-1 and is a legit threat to champion Uchimura Nakata newly won title. Marvin Meep (3-1) could step in behind him with a win over tournament finalist Sanka Coffie in their upcoming bout but undefeated new signing Jake Iceman (3-0) could stand to gain a lot with a successful debut in the NJMMA pro leagues 145lbs Champ) Jose The Blitz (13-3, W,W,L,L,W) #1 (1) Damen Mayer (11-2, L,W,W,W,W) #2 (2) David Paddington (7-1, W,L,W,W,W) #3 (3) Eddy Scharf (8-1, W,W,L,W,W) #4 (4) Snake Duanesboy (7-2, W,L,W,W,W) #5 (5) Beta Knox (7-4, L,W,W,W,W) #6 Roman Boesku (6-1, W,W,L,W,W) #7 Korean Kimchi (5-2, W,L,W,L,W) #8 Thor DeNeive (8-5, L,W,W,W,L) #9 Brad Bozeck (5-3, W,L,L,W,L) #10 Milton Hilton (7-5-2, L,W,L,D,L) The 145lbs division is currently lead by champion Jose The Blitz and #1 contender Damen Mayer who will be going head to head for the third time after The Blitz managed to snatch the title away from him in their last bout. Both fighters have a one win submission win apiece over each other and the rubber match is expected to be just as explosive. The remainder of the Top 10 is filled with talented fighters and anyone of them could potentially make a case for next in line but with no one having really put together much a winning streak it is #3 ranked Eddy Scharf who currently stands just ever so slightly further ahead with a win streak of 2. Former champion David Paddington is also lurking around at #2 and faces #4 ranked Snake Duanesboy in his next fight. This is a massive fight for the division and it is extremely likley that it will decide that next shot at the champion 155lbs Champ) Kevin Sheedy (8-2, W,W,W,W,W) #1) Brazilian Burger (15-6, W,W,L,W,L) #2) Damien The Omen (8-2, W,L,W,W,L) #3 (5) Blayze Sommer (7-3, W,L,W,L,W) #4) Justin Alvarez (6-3, L,W,W,W,W) #5 (4) Paul Haily (6-2-1, W,L,L,W,W) #6 Indian Icecapades (6-2, W,L,L,W,W) #7 (3) Gustav Hansen (8-3, L,W,W,L,L) #8 Russel Bufalino (7-4, L,W,W,L,W) #9 Danny Fuckboi (3-5, L,L,W,W,L) #10 Alex Hadley Jnr (3-3, W,W,L,L,W) The 155lbs division is one that is going to need a little time to develop again as it's currently running a little thin and will need bolstering with talent. It is currently ruled by champion 8-2 Kevin Sheedy who is currently undefeated in eight fights. He faces #1 contender Brazilian Burger on the 28th April who at 15-6 will have experience on his side. Though somewhat inconsistent in form, Blayze Sommer marches into the #3 ranked after a solid decision win over Gustav Hansen this weekend and could be a potential contender if he can get some wins together. In front of him however is #2 Damien The Omen who due to difficulties finding an opponent for him will face off against unknown Practice Test in his next bout. 170lbs Champ) Boris Bulletzworth (14-4, W,W,W,W,W) #1 (1) Shane MacGowan (8-1-1, W,W,D,L,W) #2 (2) Trevor Burrows (6-1, W,W,W,L,W) #3 (4) Tyreke Mechanic (6-2-1, L,W,D,W,W) #4 Baron Shushkev (7-3, W,L,L,W,W) #5 (3) Hungarian Hotdog (6-2, L,W,W,W,L) #6 (5) Ross Warring (4-1, L,W,W,W,W) #7 Adriano Conte (4-2, W,W,L,L,W) #8 Damien Demnto (7-5, L,L,W,W,L) #9 Ramiro Lezama (2-2-1, W,W,L,L,D) #10 Evan Rooney (4-4, L,L,L,L,W) The 170lbs division is another that is currently a little thin at the moment though it is a competitive one ruled by ex-Island star Boris Bulletzowich who will defend his title for the second time against 8-1-1 Shane MacGowan on the 12th May. Current #2 Tevor Burrows looks to be a rising threat as the 21 year old NJMMA veteran currently rides a three fight winning streak and could possible cement himself as #1 with a win over a tough Tyreke Mechanic on the 5th May. 185lbs Champ) Nick Graves (10-0, W,W,W,W,W) #1 (1) Tiago Gomes Da Rocha (8-0, W,W,W,W,W) #2) Terry Crew (7-2, W,W,W,W,L) #3 Slot Waster (8-1, W,W,W,W,L) 4 (5) Luiz Lowe (7-4, W,W,L,L,W) #5 (3) William Ralph Dean (7-2, L,W,L,W,W) #6 (4) Ginekes Poutanes (6-3, L,W,W,W,L) #7 Cal Klos (6-2, L,W,L,W,W) #8 Arthur Menezes (4-2, W,L,L,W,W) #9 Dre Battle (6-4, L,W,L,W,W) #10 Ares Zylo (4-2, L,W,W,L,W) The 185lbs division is currently looking feircely competitive at the top with Tiago Gomes Da Rocha emerging as the #1 contender after a big first round TKO win over William Ralph Dean. He will be offered the next shot against undefeated champion Nick Graves who was also in action over the weekend and who made his third successful defence of his title with a first round KO over Ginekes Poutanes in just under a minute. Rounding out the Top 5 is #2 Terry Crew, currently 7-2 with a win streak of 4 and #3 Slot Waster who is 8-1, also with a win streak of 4. After his loss to De Rocha, William Ralph Dean drops down to #5 205lbs Champ) Tank Ispa (7-1, W,W,W,W,W) #1 (3) Stephan Letter (8-1, W,W,W,W,L) #2 Joey Bob Potatohauler (5-0, W,W,W,W,W) #3 (2) Duncan Ferguson (6-1, W,W,W,L,W) #4 Johnny Lodden (8-2, W,L,W,W,L) #5 (1) Rob Kardashian (9-3, L,W,L,W,W) #6 Mike Murphy (5-2, W,W,W,W,L) #7 Sambo Trambai (4-0, W,W,W,W) #8 (5) Frank Curtis (9-3, L,L,W,W,W,W) #9 (4) Caul Rogba (8-3, L,W,W,L,L) #10 ThorHGH Grasman (7-3, W,L,W,W,L) Next up, the most populous and arguably most competitive division is the 205lbs. Champion Tank Ispa currently sits at the top of the table with a record of 7-1 and made his first successful defence of this title over the weekend with a first round submission over formidable striker Rob Kardashian. Stephan Letter emerges as the #1 contender after defeating Caul Rogba by TKO on Saturday night and will be offered the next shot at the title over up and coming star Joey Bob Potatohauler who moves up to #2 in the rankings with an undefeated 5-0 record. #3 ranked 6-1 Duncan Ferguson is also looking good as is #6 Mike Murphy and #7 Sambo Trambai, both of who are are currently riding four fight winning streaks. 265lbs Champ) John Braddock (11-0, W,W,W,W,W) #1) Bobby Pickledoo (7-1, W,W,W,W,W) #2 (3) Theirry Paulin (7-2, W,L,W,W,W) #3 John Tabatabai (7-3, W,L,W,W,L) #4 (4) Like Boss (8-1, W,L,W,W,W) #5 (2) Milton Friedman (8-3, L,W,W,W,W) #6 More IsMore (5-2, W,L,W,W,W) #7 (5) Cesar Colnago (7-3, L,W,L,W,W) - FA #8 Rico Suarez (5-2, L,W,W,W,L) - FA #9 Desaun Gracie (5-1, L,W,W,W,W) #10 Micky Kirby (5-2, L,W,W,L,W) The Heavyweight title will be on the line next Saturday night as undisputed, undefeated two org champion John Braddock makes his third defence in the NJMMA against #1 contender Bobby Pickledoo. Pickeldoo has been in great form of late and has earned his way to the title shot off the back of a five fight win streak. #2 Thierry Paulin and #4 Like Boss will also square off against each other in what is likely to be a highly competitive title eliminator though with his win this weekend John Tabatabai barges his way into the #3 spot and could find himself in contention. **Rankings are determined by hype/pop, p4p rank, win/loss record and a few other company internal criteria. Rankings will typically be updated at the end of each week**

  18. Dan Severn debuted in professional wrestling in 91 and in mma in 94. Now if you want to add his high school wrestling and such as fighting than ok, but then we are getting in a slippery slope. Ken Shamrock debuted in professional wrestling in 1990 and many believe he debuted in mma in 92 for Fujiwara Gumi but it was actually scripted and was still professional wrestling but would still be behind his professional wrestling debute in 90. His actual debut was in 93 when they sold it to Pancrase. To have real matches.

  21. For those who think takedowns are over powered because you had one or two times where a guy lands them it's just a percentage thing and not broken. I just had a fight where my guy is 13 in wrestling with 13 speed about to hit 14 in speed which is the main takedowns physical and 13 in takedowns and his opponents wrestling was an 8. My wrestler is close to max and the opponent is about half way and yet he stuffed most of the takedowns in which the majority should have landed. I'm not complaining about it. Even if I would have lost which I didn't. Just using it as a reference that the game engine is run on percentages. So you have to realize that if you have a 90% chance to stop the takedown than the other guy has a 10% chance to land it. While it is unlikely he lands it still has a chance to. And it's rolled every attempt. The system if I remember reading right does give the guy attempting takedowns a penalty to his chances for failed attempts but not for successful ones, and I want to say the penalty only drops the chance so far before it stops stacking it.
