  1. I think the two orgs left are fine. Heartless is run well, and is currently going through the phase where practically all the 25yo creations have dropped off*, so naturally numbers will come down into more manageable groups. EDIT: There's a bunch of newish upstarts too in the 380k space. Hardcore 2.0 (the other HFC) has been chugging along, Wolves (the now Dillo & Hopson collab) are still there, you have a couple of Helsinki based orgs with events on, and SSD was bought and rebranded by Cian Coggins for IC&E Championships. Plenty of options for 380k fighters still. Will they all last beyond a couple of months? Nope probably not, but the variety is there right now. *Except for 23yo QFC tournament creation "Smasher" Tommy McCork (now 25) who is lining up for a title shot after a heroic time keeping the young upstarts away.

  3. Puno's used to dealing with the corrupt PDs of Rio and Manila. Some gangly El Paso fairy won't get him on any possession charges. Not while Adan's still conscious.

  5. keeping it simple, with tradition. + weight class fighter of the year trophies, since I suspect the majority of people don't want to see those scrapped

  6. @Mannetosen Puno Power: Adan Puno KO's Jason Hightower Fighter profile of Adan Puno by Papi Rojo Shots fired! Officer down! In the main event of the evening at DMMA 155 the London fans were in for a treat, when they witnessed a legacy fighter in tip top shape competing at the highest level. Forged at Tosen's Home of Lost Boys in Rio, Adan Puno (10-2 MMA), son of Kajun (31-9 MMA, 1-0 KT), grandson of Fidel (34-8 MMA), brother of Jeronimo (24-10 MMA), was defending his Dynasty Heavyweight championship verse Jason Hightower (12-3 MMA, 13-1 KT), the former Heavyweight champion and K1 superstar who was once in line for a title shot against Kilo Maluga. This fight wasn't even remotely as competitive as advertised. Defending his Heavyweight title in fashion, Adan Puno dominated from start to finish (for the entire 2 minutes this fight lasted), polishing off the challenger with an uppercut from hell that left Hightower motionless on the canvas. With the victory Adan Puno advances to 10-2 in MMA with 8 of his wins coming by way of knockout. A granite chin possessing the power of the Puno tribe in his hands and feet, he's a destructive force of nature and if the referee wasn't coherent enough to stop the fight, Puno would skull fuck his opponents faces until there was no bone fragment left, whilst the while drooling from the froth like a savage. Fortunately for his opponents, Steve Mazigatti is retired and Adan usually puts opponents to sleep more effective than a NyQuil and fentanyl cocktail with the infamous "Puno Death Punch". The notorious "Puno Death Punch" is refined in Manila from an early age with a vigorous training routine that involves lifting rocks, throwing rocks, and punching out crocodiles. Some often criticize this ancient family tradition as being a primitive ritual with no scientific proof of effectiveness, but time and time again the Puno clan has managed to churn out sons with legendary Filipino power. One would wonder what is next for the former champion after his 2nd title fight loss in his last 3 fights. Jason Hightower drops to 12-3 in MMA after getting his world rocked by Adan Puno and many fans are clamoring if his recent change in management was the best decision for his career. If we're being honest, we don't quite care about what happens to Jason Hightower and this moment is all about the upcoming Puno prodigy. Adan Puno was humble in victory, but had to remind the fans and Hightower of one concrete rule over here at Convicted Inc: FUCK THE POLICE.

  8. I totally agree with @Icon73that less is more. We should have a limited number of awards that give those of us who care and enjoy the competition something to strive for. My whole soapbox (that I must be in the minority on) is that I feel winning a restricted ID anything is like getting a participation trophy. You're not fighter/org of the year quality, but you're deserving of an award for this "not as good group". ID restricted Org of the year? What a joke. An org isn't limited by skill like a fighter is, so orgs are orgs. A brand new org could put forth effort, have awesome write-ups, market their talent, create a ownership group to expand their bankroll, etc and be Org of the Year. Winning org of the year doesn't automatically have to go to the existing orgs who sign the highest skilled fighters and put on the biggest shows. And where does it end? Should we introduce an 18 yr old fighter of the year award since ID restriction orgs are pretty heavily dominated by 25 yr old builds? If we want to keep things like ID restricted org and fighter of the year, KO and Sub of the year (pointless awards), KT and Grappler of the year (again, we have fighter of the year that can be a KT fighter, grappler, etc), then we should add weight class fighters of the year. Either go minimal, or give everyone what they want. This is my recommended list (minimal): Fighter of the Year - best Overall fighter of the year Manager of the year - best manager of the year Alliance of the year - The best alliance of the year Org of the year - best overall org of the year Writer of the year - Best Writer of the year Company of the year - Best clothing or nutrition company of the year Designer of the year - Best Designer of Avatars, Posters and clothing of the year Fight of the Year - Best fight of the year Upset of the year - Biggest upset of the year

  9. not sure why getting rid of any award is necessary. it's words on a screen that take up very little space in the grand scheme. don't like it...don't read it. simple. not to mention, easily half of this game doesn't give a flying fuck about the awards anyway.

  10. Wow. So simple and easy to understand! How did you figure out a way to comprehend and simplify the big award changes debacle?
