Approximately 10% fighting with your natural weight within the category. And the other 25% cut of 20 pounds or more. We have great examples in all categories. Examples: Bantam weight ( 135 lbs ): Urijah Faber: Height: 168cm Natural Weight: 150/155lbs Faber said to weigh 155 pounds naturally in an interview before a fight. Feather Weight: Jose Aldo: Height: 171cm Natural Weight: 166lbs I am Brazilian and has trained with Aldo. He stands with 75/76kg (165/167lbs) Light Weight: Clay Guida: Height: 170cm Natural Weight: 179lbs I do not remember exactly where I saw it. Among other ... This system would be done as follows : As already exist in the game, he will not need supplements to cut weight fast or something. The fighter will automatically cut the weight at the time of weighing. Who can cut so much weight? Who is lucky. In this system of cutting weight, the fighters cut weight as well as the current system. Examples: Currently: Fighter X, you can fight to 170lbs weighing 187lbs. With this system, the maximum natural weight fighter X can vary between 187lbs and 200lbs. As in reality, not all fighters can cut that much weight. If your fighter is lucky, can get up to 170lbs to fight, weighing 195/200 lbs. But do not worry if your fighter is very unlucky, the maximum weight that he will, will be the maximum current cutting weight (187lbs). " Your fighter will bulk back up to their original weight come fight time. This will give him the benefits you would expect of being larger (stronger etc), but if he has cut a LOT of weight, he will be drained. He will have less energy come fight time and due to the loss of fluid around his brain during weight cutting, he may also be easier to knock out. In short, it is a delicate balancing act. 3. Floki Gunnarssons Grind of today is not stopping, he's been training his ass off with the bois and he managed to even pump up his Boxing skills on even higher level, good things might await him in his bout against a Polish Powerhouse in Supko if he keeps things going in a rate like that. Hell he might even be able to surpass him in his Boxing before the bout and then if that happens it should be a cake walk for him.

  4. Daniel "Hype Boy" Marsh (397464) 2-0-0 (2-0-0 GFC) Impressed with the attention gained by their last feature of Daniel, independent Japanese martial arts magazine Budo+ reached out to him once more and even put the young star on their front cover. The following is an interview between Daniel and the magazine's lead sports writer. --- Q: We're now only four days away from the biggest fight of your life so far, for Championship gold. What final preparations are you making and what have you focused on for this training camp? A: Obviously I'm not gonna spill all the secrets of my camp but we've been working on getting me into the best shape possible. So we've kept sparring to a minimum and focussed on improving what I already do best. Q: You had some passionate things to say about your fight the last time we reached out, stating that you'd beat [this] man on the feet ands crack [his] chin in savage fashion. Was that a spur of the moment declaration, or do you actually plan on chasing the knockout? A: The only thing I plan on chasing is my favourite idol group across the country, ahead of their 2023 autumn tour. I can't wait to see Hikaru-chan with her new hair. She suits it so well! Oh but forget about that, we're talking about the fight aren't we? Well, Genko will deliver his chin to me on a silver platter, and me, being the savage that I am, will oblige and send that man's head into the stands. If you're in attendance and manage to catch his ugly mug, I'll even sign it for ya. Q: You sound far more confident than ever before despite your next fight being against the division's best, the Champion. He rides a four fight win streak having lost barely a round during this time. Where is this confidence of yours coming from? A: I have the heart of a savage, and a special brain, and the best teammates I could ask for. The stuff my head coach Kitano-sensei puts me through makes fight night feel like a picnic in comparison. There's nothing Genko can do to me that I haven't already experienced in Shibuya. Q: Final question. You mentioned before that life for you changed after being accepted onto the Savage Scholarship Program. Where do you see yourself once the program ends? A: Champion, with one or two title defences and a beautiful idol girlfriend by my side. I will be the face of Savage Fightwear forever and always. Some of the other guys have potential but we all know who the real Hype Boy is. It's me, by the way. I'm the Hype Boy. I'm special.

  5. Floki Gunnarsson Just managed to improve on his Muay Thai, which is kinda funny considering he never threw a kick in his life as well as he didn't even try to get better at it at this point but I guess he has his own way of doing things

  6. Hey, been a while since I dropped an update, eh? Sorry. Well a bunch has happened since I landed the scholarship with Savage. First thing I did was me and my buddies went for a rip and the hosers got on me for being such a keener! We hooked up with a couple of puck bunnies from the days when I'd lace 'em up and headed to the in 'n out to bulk up the old Molson muscle and get sloshed. Oh right, this is supposed to be about the scrappin'. It's a bit of a blur late summer as the humidex was off the charts but I think I defended the Sigma belt I held against a fella called Rudi Kardi. Big guy, real tall. It was a tough one as he seemed to want to roll around lots where generally I'm less comfortable. I didn't land many good shots, did manage to open him up a little, but did enough the judges went my way. Not long after Sigma closed up and I was looking for work. I didn't want to end up on pogie like my brother, so I had my manager look over some contracts and ended up signing with Hardcore Fighting Championship. Bunch of training next, like one of those montages from Rocky or something. Nice that Fight Founders is kitty corner to a Timmie's though! Can grab a double double and some Timbits when I'm out and about that way. So anyways I'm set up to throw mitts at Ivan Petrov in my first match in HFC. Same height, same weight, should be a banger. My Dad came with me to St. Petersburg for the fight and was yellin' "giv'er" the whole time! What a homer! But it was nice to have someone in the stands pullin' for me as the crowd was on Ivan's side for sure. I guess I didn't take the first round, kept missing and he mostly stayed out of the clinch, but I did catch him good in the later periods...rounds I mean. Ended up knocking him down four times, but he kept gettin' back up. Glad he wasn't wearing a bucket or I would have gashed up my hands for sure. Fifth round I finally caught him circling right once too many and it was lights out, and boom, new champion! That was only a few days ago, still a bit jet lagged and might take a few more days off before I hit the gym again. Will try and keep you guys posted on my next scrap! So long!

  7. Artemis Entreri 2-0 KT 5-0 MMA 0-1 Test fight Artemis - "Oops, I did it again!" Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1 we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Artemis Entreri! I will try to write something up for this update in a few days when I have some time off. In the mean time, just know that Artemis is going around showing people his recently created KO highlight reel. Apparently, women like aggressive men.

  9. "Le Tigre" Olivier Dujardin Speaking to the press after being spotted in Sydney, away from his team base in Tokyo, Dujardin shed some light on why he was there and his other future plans. "I'm in Sydney to train. To expand my horizons. I heard there was a gym down here that really specialised in clinchwork and that's where I really want to improve. I've come down with my teammate "The Anaconda" because it's an area we both want to work on. Both of us have similar backgrounds in that the start of our careers was mismanaged and we were neglected by previous management. We're playing catchup here and manager Crazy Horse identified this spot as the place to be to spend some time to sharpen our game. Also, we're moving into summer down here and that helps with my lack of shirt game." When asked about his next opponent, Ian Carter, and what his thoughts about him were: "Ian is an interesting fight. I see a lot of similarities in our games. He's a pretty funny character on Buzz that's for sure. Interestingly, he's the first guy I've fought in a long time with a similar amount of experience as me. Everyone else I've fought in NYF so far has been in training for much longer. Kakuzo was already on his second manager and fighting back in the EMPIRE days, when my manager was newly back in the game. We will catch up in skills and won't get caught so easily again. Babcock is also similarly experienced and also quite a mature student. Even though I narrowly beat him already, I think the gap is only widening. I will have my time in the sun again and I need to go through Carter first."

  11. Savage Rising Star - Vol. 2 Artemis Entreri A heavy hand met with a granite chin, and in less than one minute, this fight met an early end. I don't know if it was the excitement for the challenge of facing another KO artist, if it was extra motivation for becoming a Savage fighter, or maybe he just wanted to put on a good show before the move to Apex. Hell, who am I kidding, it was a little of each of the above, but the reality is "The Assassin" is a cold blooded killer who likes to push the limits. He stepped into the cage in a fight that I truly felt could have gone either way. Both guys were able to end fights early with their power, and Thuta has shown to have a granite chin as well. Entreri took that as motivation and turned in his best fight to date with a 49 second KO victory. Next up, his first official fight in APEX, Entreri will be stepping into the cage with Mustafa McBeth. This fight is only a few days away as Entreri felt his previous fight hadn't really been much of a fight and didn't want to waste the camp. So next up! McBeth is another young up and coming striker with elite boxing skills and two KO victories under his belt. The only problem is, he's also got a single KO loss under his belt as well. Can you guess who handed him that defeat? You got it, Entreri finished that fight in a minute and a half, but to be fair, it is the longest anyone has stood against him to this point in his young career. His sparring match with teammate aside, of course. What does this mean for Entreri? It means two things. 1) McBeth will want revenge and is coming into this with a chip on his shoulder, and 2) The Assassin will be putting this to rest and laying claim to the KO of the Night award on Sept. 24th, of the year of the Savage, 2023.

  12. Daniel won his fight in 25 seconds, not by knockout as he claimed he would, but a quick submission after pulling guard! A real savage always keeps his cards close to his chest.

  13. The only thing that can complicate it, gain and weight loss. We have to establish how will the weight cut. A 200lbs guy can cut up to 170lbs. But if that same fighter weigh 190lbs, even when he can cut? Understand me?!
    1 point
  14. I think it should be a Hidden, in which at design time, you can not choose. It comes in "luck". Your fighter you've created with 200lbs, can cut up to 184lbs or up to 170lbs. And for fighters that already exist, there is a "roulette wheel" logo when you login for the first time after updating the game. This roulette, decided to cut as he can.

  15. The idea is more or less it. Currently all fighters can have the same weight, just depends on your cardio. With this update, each fighter would cut his own weight. Currently all the fighters who have Cardio Elite and intend to fight to 170lbs, can weigh up to 187lbs. With this update, this would change. Some might weigh a maximum of 187lbs. Others weigh 192lbs and others could be even 200lbs. Can you understand my idea? As an example I posed: There are fighters who hate cutting weight and even fail to cut much weight. While other fighters like Thiago Alves (UFC Welter weight) weighed in 215lbs and OFF when it came time to fight, he weighed between 198/202lbs. Cutting weight with this novelty, would vary. It will be interesting to see a 174lbs fighter, fighting in the category, 170lbs up against a guy of great weighing 198lbs.

  16. It's true! I love this idea, simply because it will cause a greater variation in cutting weight. Some fighters who fight to 155lbs, could weigh no more than 171lbs, 180lbs to others! That would be interesting in fights. See how a small guy (158lbs, 155lbs fighting to) fight a guy from 180lbs to 155lbs to fight. And it exists in real MMA. We see this a lot in the UFC. Remember when BJ Penn faced George St. Pierre the first time? BJ Penn: 1.75 m - 168lbs GSP: 1.80m - 190lbs --- or when Frankie Edgar fought Ben Henderson: Edgar: 1.68 m - 158lbs Henderson: 1.76 m - 179lbs
