  1. If i understand correctly, your opponent revealed his tactics to you? If thats the case you know exactly how to beat him whats the problem?
  2. Jazz Clementine My next opponent Daichi Kishimoto, the 135 lb. 'untouchable' champ got his submission win after 27 attempts. Im not impressed. The contract is signed my friend, thats a real nice black belt ya got, too bad youre going to have to take me down to use it, and thats not happening. I love fighting grapplers. See you in two weeks champ.
  3. SyFi 50 May 13/18 Brought to you by Forge Clothing Co. Main Event of the Evening Blake Phoenix (8-2) vs. Billy Arseworth (8-3) Tonight in our main event we have two NYFN Legends tournament semi-finalists who did not face each other in said tournament, but are going at it here in Sydney. Both of these men were defeated by their respective opponents in the semi-finals, but picked up notable wins over fighters from some of the best camps in the game. Blake Phoenix, in his first fight since the tournament, looks to take out "The One Round Ranger" Billy Arseworth, who has fought once since - switching to a new camp and giving up the tko to former champion Damatang Camera at the very beginning of the second round. Both of these men are hungry to prove they can survive out here and best of luck to them both. What a main event! (C)Akimbo Spice (5-0) vs. Justin Sane (6-3) We also have tonight the recently re-crowned champion 'The Black Prophet' Akimbo Spice making his second attempt at his first title defense. After taking the tko over Gennady Golovkin near the start of the second round, he regained his gold and now will try to prevent the challenger from taking it away. A grappler and brown belt, Justin Sane only needed three minutes to sink in a tight arm triangle over Xavier Merlin in his debut, earning himself the title shot. This is one of those classic fights, will Spice be able to keep the fight upright where he can use his muay thai skills? Or will Sane manage to drag it to the ground where he is at his best? Murphy Brown (7-3-1) vs. Chief Thunder Rolls (4-0) After dispatching Pat Williams with a nasty knockout in the second round of his last bout, Murphy 'The Bomber' Brown is back for his second fight in Sydney. He is a wonderful boxer with some wrestling to boot, and he carries some power in his right hand. He will take on Chief Thunder Rolls who is on a streak with three consecutive wins by stoppage. He is a jiujitsu brown belt and is best when he's getting the fight to the ground, raining down aggressively with ground and pound. I believe if Brown can prevent being taken down, it will be a short night for the Chief. Akira Harada (5-1) vs. Scotty Tuote (4-0) Wonderful boxer Akira Harada has had a good run thus far in his career, however meeting a touch of adversity in his last bout where he was stopped for the first time by Kevin Daughtrey by way of tko in the first round. He's going to try and get back into the win column as his opponent, undefeated Scotty Tuote will look to continue his streak. Tuote knows how to finish a fight and has the power to do it, he likes to clinch his opponent up and terrorize them with punches and knees. Harada will have to try and stay to the outside here or he may have a rough evening. Man Itizer (8-4) vs. Wayne Benning (5-1) With two back-to-back tko victories, both occuring in the first round, man 'Moist' Itizer has proven that he can scrap. He is a wonderful muay thai fighter and is most effective when he has his opponent clinched up, attacking with sharp elbows and devastating knees. His opponent Wayne Benning has finished all of his opposition in the first round, his most recent victim Bobby Whittaker in only two minutes. These two will go head to head in what surely will be a war! Undercard Bann Harrow (3-1) vs. William Lindham (4-3) Cal Riven (2-1) vs. Roy Whitaker (3-0) Hokuto Akira (2-0) vs. Josh Alli (3-4) Emil Derrick (2-1) vs. Petr Antonovich (2-0) Tourney Disappointment (5-0) vs. Isaac Arthur (5-0)
  4. You may want to find a partner. Not someone who is going to hold your gym for your convenience. But someone who could also benefit from having a private gym, and you split the cost. Look for someone who runs an organization or a store. You wont be able to fund a good gym on your own unless you are making serious bank elsewhere. Best of luck
  5. Heres another suggestion. This game has a very slow pace. Waiting a day or two is not entirely unusual.
  6. SyFi 47 May 6/18 Brought to you by Forge Clothing Co. Main Event of the Evening (C) Rick Piano (7-0) vs. Ross Barkley (6-2) Somehow this man, the champion, Rick 'Roidburg' Piano has become somewhat of our poster boy. Half of our staff are scared to go around him. The 'medication' he claims to take causes him to experience fits of rage and violence. Though one thing is for sure, he is a hell of a fighter. He took Sydney's 205 lb. division by storm, stopping all of his competition in the first round. Extremely well rounded, he makes use of wonderful wrestling to keep his fight standing where he utterly destroys his opponents. He's got power in both his hands and his feet. Ross Barkley is clearly a madman as he chose to step into the cage with the champion. Coming off of a first round tko victory over Travis Dillon in his debut, he got the title shot immediately after because, let's face it, he was willing. An exceptional boxer, he has a similar tactic of using a superb wrestling base to keep fights up where he can throw hands. He has a good chin, but Roidburg has knockout power. I fear for Barkley's safety and wish him the best. (C) Big Asznee (9-0) vs. Apollo Reid (6-3) Champion Big 'Baba' Asznee looks to make his fourth title defense. He's entirely undefeated, this slick grappler gets his fight to the ground and beats his opponent up. His submissions are fast and his technique is tight. His chin is stone. The only downside is his standup, but we have yet to meet a man that could stop this freight train's takedown. Will Apollo 'Master of Disaster' Reid be the one? A jack of all trades master of none type, this rounded fighter has won both of his fights in Sydney, his resolve will be questioned. Does he have the steel his veins to survive Asznee's onslaught? Pablo Spezziale (6-3) vs. Lars Hard (7-4) Signing with Sydney following his running-up in the high profile Legends Tournament, Pablo "Heavy Metal" Spezziale is making his debut this night. A wonderful boxer, he has trained up his wrestling skills no doubt to keep his fights standing where his big right hand can come into play. His opponent, Lars "The Modern Viking" Hard, is on a three fight winning streak, earning Fight of the Night honors in his last bout against Tristan Farsight. These two men are built much the same, the only glaring difference being Hard's purple belt as opposed to Spezziale's blue. Will that come into effect when Hard's team prepares his gameplan against his very game newcomer? Stefan Harpik (4-1) vs. Angel Childress (3-0) Following up a fairly successful sprint through the amateur leagues, Stefan Harpik has signed with Sydney and makes his debut this night. He is a strong grappler and smothers his opponents while swarming them with ground and pound. His welcome wagon comes in the form of Angel 'Squizo' Childress, who is no stranger to our cage. He's had three fights, he's finished all by submission and will prove a worthy opponent for Harpik. Will these guys go at it on the mat or will another strategy prevail? Travis Mitchell (4-1) vs. Sergei Bumanov (3-1) Travis Mitchell is extremely well rounded. He has a purple belt in jiujitsu, and an extremely versatile skillset that gives him a certain comfort regardless of where the fight takes place. Undefeated thus far in his three bouts in Sydney, he's won by knockout as well as submission, proving that he is an exciting young fighter to watch. His opponent, Sergei "The Serge" Bumanov, is looking to rebound hard as he was submitted in his title challenge against champion Big Asznee, who is also competing tonight. Similarily very well rounded, Bumanov also rocks a purple belt and attacks his opponents with a combination of strikes and grappling. Hard to say much about strategies with such well rounded young men. Aulis Homelius (3-1) vs. Mickey Flannerry (2-2) Aulis Homelius is back for his fourth fight in our cage, with three unanimous decisions under his belt. He uses his wonderful wrestling skills to win points and earn the judges favor. Will he be able to score takedowns against Mickey Flannerry, who is making his debut this night. He has superb wrestling but is primarily boxer with a good chin and heavy hands. Will Homelius switch up his tactics and look for a finish here? I'm quite sure Flannerry will be, as he looks to make a grand entrance. Ingo Butzhammer (3-0) vs. Julius Scipio (1-0) Ingo "Das Eichhörnchen" Butzhammer is the epitome of a muai thai fighter, his primary weapons being his kicks, his knees, and his elbows. He claimed Knockout of the Night honors in his last showing, finishing Luc Brood near the start of the third round with a series of head kicks that looked straight out of a video game. He's undefeated thus far in his three fights, and welcomes Julius Scipio back to the cage for his second bout. Scipio is a remarkable boxer with a purple belt in jiujitsu. In his debut he managed to avoid being grappled to death to grind out a unanimous decision victory over Ryan Rylie. He's got his work cut out for him as he'll have to avoid eating the deadly kicks of Butzhammer. Khalamedov Nurmagabeeb (3-2) vs. Nilo Putsok (2-0) What a night of fights and the action just keeps coming as Khalamedov Nurmagabeeb is back for his sixth fight and he's looking to prove himself a bit. In his last fight he gave up a unanimous decision to Steve Collins where his chin became slightly suspect. Despite that, he's a remarkable wrestler with a purple belt in jiujitsu and he'll always have that. The question is, will he be the dominant force should the fight go to the mat? His opponent Nilo Putsok showed us in his debut he certainly knows how to grapple as well, finishing Conor Henderson in the first round with a nasty rear naked choke. He's also a purple belt with wrestling skills. Hard to tell who's got the true advantage here, this will just be a good fight! Iso Paa (2-1) vs. John Gibson (2-1) With two back to back tko victories in Sydney, Iso Paa is on a tear. With wonderful muay thai and a well-rounded skillset to back it up, his gameplan of standing and banging has been working out for him. He surely can take a punch, and also showed he can hang with grapplers as in his last fight against Darth Bo he survived the onslaught of takedowns and submissions to put his opponent away in the third. His opponent John Gibson is making his debut, a win here would be huge for him. He is a superb wrestler with a purple belt in jiujitsu and his standup skills are not to be scoffed at. It will be interesting to see how his gameplan unfolds. Bol Strike (2-0) vs. Jon Silva (3-3) Bol 'Overem' Strike is aptly named - a strong boxer with a wrestling pedigree and a chin of granite - also undefeated thus far in his two bouts. He makes his debut in Sydney on this stacked card, taking on Jon 'Bones' Silva who has become a bit of a gatekeeper, going back and forth in the win and loss column since he signed on five fights ago. Predominantly a grappler, he'll need to get past the takedown defense of Strike and put him on his back, where he'll have a much better chance of getting the win. If Strike can keep the fight standing, he'll send a message to all of the grapplers in the 185 lb. division. - Written by Vincent Valenzio
  7. There's one key component we're missing to make this happen.. and I haven't seen or heard of him in months.
  8. Fully support this, I believe it would be a great change to the pace of the game. However improvements don't really seem to be a priority around here..
  9. SyFi 44 Apr 29/18 Brought to you by Forge Clothing Co. Main Event of the Evening (C) Mike Johnson (4-0) vs. #2 Kevin Daughtrey (7-0) In our main event we have fireworks as number one contender Kevin Daughtrey challenges Mike Johnson for the 170 lb. title. Johnson has been on a tear, three fights in Sydney, all stoppages. His first title defense took less than 2 minutes. Showing he has the power to finish with strikes and the technique to finish by submission, the champ is still young, and very dangerous. He is extremely well rounded, an exceptional wrestler with a purple belt in jiujitsu. He is very powerful and knows how to strike as well. He can approach this fight with a few different strategies, it will be really interesting to see how this one pans out. The challenger, Kevin Daughtrey, has proved he is quite dangerous as well. He has 3 fights in Sydney and combined he still has not fought a full round. His last opponent Akira Harada fell to his fists by way of tko near the second minute mark of the first round. He is a thai fighter with some wrestling skill at his disposal and he is also currently undefeated. Yet still, he will have his hands full in this explosive main event! #7 Chris Snoky (7-1-1) vs. #8 Gideon Navarro (5-1) Chris 'Smokey' Snoky has had a very good run through the amateur leagues, and a good show in his debut against Tori Kankunnen. A thai fighter with some wrestling to back it up, he's looking to put another notch on the belt against twenty-year old 'The Unbreakable' Gideon Navarro. Navarro has been quite successul outside of Sydney, and in his debut walked through Jackson Finnegan. He's an exceptional thai fighter with a purple belt in jiujitsu, wherever this fight takes place he will be comfortable. Snoky may seem outgunned but I wouldn't count him out of his fight. #6 Bruno Javier Jimenez (5-3) vs. #10 Pahani Julmu (3-0) Bruni Javier 'Bjj' Jimenez is a superb boxer with a purple belt in jiujitsu. He's returning for his sixth fight and looking to pick up his fourth victory in Sydney. Coming off of a first round tko loss to Mike Johnson, he will no doubt be aggressive and bring the fight to undefeated submission fighter Pahani Julmu. Apparently a fan of armbars, he has three first-round victories by armbar outside of Sydney, an early stoppage in his debut would certainly put him on the map in the 170 lb. division. Putem The Nightmare (1-1) vs. Luke Melendez (2-1) Twenty-six year old Putem 'Tobed' The Nightmare is a grappler with a brown belt in jiujitsu, he's making his debut here in Sydney. Luke Melendez is welcoming him to the party, all of his three fights taking place with us, and all ending in the first round. He's a highly active striker who sets a fast pace. He's going to have to display some takedown defense in this bout. If The Nightmare cannot bring him to the ground it's going to be an early night for him. Zedidiah Goldberg (2-0) vs. Russell Westbrook (2-1) Both of his opponents thus far have suffered knockouts, the recent of the two in only twenty-four seconds. If heavy-handed Zedidiah 'Zed' Goldberg touches you, it hurts. He's wonderful in muay thai, but not many other skills to speak of, there's not much left to the imagination when it comes to his strategy. His opponent, exceptional thai fighter Russell Westbrook, put away Gabriel Melo in the second round by way of tko in his Sydney debut, now he's back for more. The question is, can he take the power of Goldberg? Jackson Finnegan (2-2) vs. Ulysses Klaw (2-0) Jackson 'Filet' Finnegan is back in his fourth Sydney appearance. A balanced mixed martial artist, he was put away in the first round of his last bout, clinched up by Gideon Navarro. Will he redeem himself against young upstart Ulysses 'Panther Killer' Klaw? Also with a balanced style, perhaps leaning more towards grappling, Klaw is undefeated thus far in his two Sydney fights, coming off of a decision victory over Johnny Boy Morissey. This is a hard bout to call, I believe just about anything could happen. Roy Jones Gracie (2-2) vs. Thor Odinson (1-1-1) It took him only thirty seconds to tko Tulio Souza in his Sydney debut, Roy Jones Gracie has power in his fists and granite in his chin. A remarkable boxer with a purple belt in jiuitsu, he's going to war with Thor 'The Hammer' Odinson. Coming off of a knockout loss to Akira Harada in the second round, this muay thai fighter will look to bounce back with a clever performance. He may need to tie Gracie up early and do some damage to him to slow him down in order to avoid an early stoppage. Tori Kankunnen (3-3) vs. Ariel At Night (1-1) Tori 'Ice' Kankunnen is back for his fifth bout in Sydney. He has one win out of them, a decision over Conor Henderson. However with an ochre of success in the amateur leagues, this hopeful wrestler looks to grind out a second win over 'Daytime Bob' Ariel At Night. This young grappler has had two fights in Sydney, winning one of them by way of knocking out Buddy Quincy from half guard with deadly elbows and strikes. Kankunnen may want to keep this fight standing, but even that may be a dangerous endeavor for him. Hosep Grigorian (2-0) vs. Damian Lillard (1-2) After dispatching Jack Baker in his Sydney debut, Hosep Grigorian is back to take on his next foe. He's a wonderful boxer, but has the skills to hold his own in a grappling situation. His opponent, making his debut following a rough start in the amateur leagues, Damian Lillard. An exceptional muay thai fighter, Lillard is going to look to keep this fight standing and possibly seek out a clinch, however I think Grigorian would be fine with that. Brandon Bragg (2-1) vs. Stor Bang Brandon 'Light Mayo' Bragg is a young wrestler, coming off of the first loss of his three-fight career outside of Sydney. He's here tonight to make his debut against another new fighter, Stor Bang. No tests for this young prospect, he's taking his very first fight here with us. A jiujitsu fighter with respectable wrestling skills, I think we can expect this bout to take place on the ground.
  10. Unfortunate because I have two fighters to set sliders for but cannot access their pages..
  11. I'm quite sure he was talking about in the clinch how did we get onto grounded fighters?
  12. Forgive me if this sounds stupid but I was really high last night and i was pondering this game. I had a random thought. If fighters spar to increase their primaries, And benefit only really while sparring with a partner with higher values, how did the first fighter to get to a 15 do it?
  13. Maybe an advance position slider for in the clinch and add a new position related to the clinch. 'Thai plum' and knees/elbows from this position deal extra damage?
  14. I would suggest requesting a release from your 265 guy's contract. He released my guy who still had 4 fights on contract. Similar story here, though. After declining several match ups I got fed up and told him if he didn't start sending fair fights I would take my guys elsewhere. He then comes back with an offer against a fair (ish) opponent for the title. I thought that was a little unusual but accepted. When my guy won, the next offer he sends me is against a guy 24 thousand ID older. While I should have declined, I didn't because of the belt. I don't know why my guy even got a crack at the belt with those kind of fighters floating around. At any rate, I immediately requested release. The next day he has the audacity to offer another of my fighters (who is doing his last fight on his contract for EFA) a renegotiation for an absurdly low amount of money. I can't tell if he just doesn't know what he's doing or what. When I explained to him over again why I was not fighting for his org anymore he responds simply with "ok."
  15. It's due to the fact that this org has really bad matchmaking, not able to tell if it's caused by unawareness, or if it's on purpose. I got my guys out. I suggest everyone stop giving it hype. A 300 ID org constantly hiring brand new guys to fight guys who are actually 300 ID. What a joke.
  16. I think a lot of players don't even check the forums. The website shows how many were on line each day and it's a fairly sizeable number considering how slow it seems around here.
  17. My private gym Fit-Out is currently in search of a nutrition partner. Pm me in game if interested
  18. I've not seen that before Lefty, kind of cool but unfortunate you lost.
  19. And giving him all this constant attention on the forums helps how...?
  20. I think you're missing the point. Or bad troll. He's running the marathon to raise money for the charity.
  21. After all the smoke has cleared, the only one that took a hit is his org. Don't worry about it. Steer clear of grumpy and his org, now that's solid advice for anyone. They should put that in the noob faq
  22. Yes it gets to be quite expensive and I don't even have all coaches yet. At any rate, the issue has been resolved. Thanks for your time folks.
  23. Hello there, most of you don't know me but I've been playing this game for about 6 months. I've been enjoying my time here a lot. However now I find myself in need of some help. You see, about a month in I was contacted by a user who is now inactive. Him and I set up a partnership revolving around his clothing store and my private gym. He would help with the funding for development and in return our fighters would train there. It was working great until he lost VIP, lost his store, and went inactive. Now my gym faces inevitable peril as I don't earn enough money on my own to fund (let alone develop) the gym into its future. Thus, I'm looking for a Partner who could take up his part of the deal. Your fighters can come and get private training at my gym which, in the future, I have high hopes of developing into an all-elite gym. I'm tight on time at the moment so I can't give a link but my account name is Vincent Valenzio and the gym is called Fit-out. I look forward to meeting my new partner. Thank you for reading and have a great Day.
