  1. Nice, have a good break and see you whenever that is then. You know you will be back eventually 😏
  2. I'm gone for a little bit (ok, about two years I suppose) and now that I'm back you still haven't managed to kill off this dying game. By now it has been dying for longer than most games live goddammit! Sure the manager pool may have thinned a little further, but most of the dinosaurs still left won't leave until the next ice age. No, instead of the whole thing being flushed down a gold-plated toilet like I would have expected I'm seeing: Nice community initiatives 400K promising another burst of activity soon like big tournaments Old managers returning Cheaters getting their fingers slapped And.. actual development happening? Small steps at first but a huge step for the game. It may be calmer than it used to at the moment, but rather than the stillness of death I'm seeing some signs of life. And some disturbing signs as well to be honest.. looking at the rankings now. Why is everyone walking around bow-legged? Except for CK.. just sitting there smiling playing his banjo murmuring something about how they all squeal like pigs. Yeah, we definitely do need some fresh blood in here.. but if we got that we could make Tycoon great again.
  3. I know escapes used to be slower to train a couple years ago when I was building fighters. I thought it had been fixed, but apparently not.
  4. I consider Kilo my toughest opponent and the fights against him some of the best I did while on top of my tycoon career. Happy to chip in for his GOAT award.
  5. So the light at the end of the tunnel is fame, fortune and a 400K belt. I'm done lurking in the shadows.
  6. Sounds interesting, but looks like we will have to wait good while longer for 400K to come around.
  7. Even retired fighters got the money. For the first time ever we will see them order drinks in Bahamas instead of serving them.
  8. Must be a gazillion $ in total added to the game, does this devalue the Tycoon dollar? In any case the laundromats will have a busy weekend.
  9. Not just the text, there is a whole lot of code logic and balancing that needs to be done as well. So I can see why they were not in initially as you have to draw the line somewhere. But I also think it would be about time to add them.. a couple of years ago or so. The fight engine may not be perfect, but it is really good and what keeps a lot of longtime players in this game year after year. Still I think an occasional smaller update would help keep things interesting. Btw, did that physical cap ever happen? Was a lot of talk about it last time I was around.
  10. BJJ belt levels dropping is silly. They should never drop even when skill does and a red belt should only be given if you are still elite after 35+ or something like that. Would make scouting more interesting I think. And Kilo is a freak of nature, or rather RNG and whatever digital roids CK has been feeding him. You can see total skill points on one of the statistics pages, need to be vip for that so don't have it myself right now.
  11. No that is the one thing you should not do with sparring. You can of course, but you are not receiving full gains from the second session if you do.
  12. Nice to see that you are still around with Sucker Punch, if I go VIP I'll try to get a fighter in there again.
  13. You are not the only one. Was just snooping around here myself thinking about making a fighter or two again, maybe jump into next Island season. Last time I was around the ETA of any new features were measured in a peculiar and somewhat fluid time unit called "bathroom renovations".
  14. No problem, it is only back to back sparring sessions that will reduce your gains somewhat.
  15. Tycoon awards, traditionally celebrated every year at the end of troll season. Not to be confused with Tycoon popularity contest. Kilo is the committee. The journey is the destination.
  16. Good times cornering my barbarian against Kilo back in the days. Hoped to see him come out on top in the end, but congrats to Maluga, impressive run you had with this guy CK.
  17. Happy to see Fury continue under such a good manager and friend of mine. I made sure to hand over all my notes to make the transition as painless as possible for him even if there was no way around him losing some training time. That win was as dominant as we could have hoped for, good job doing that on this level! Just had to log in and check since I still felt somewhat invested in this fight. I'm not back, probably not for a good while yet but please keep SP going, its a great org.
  18. Ooops, sorry. I was planning to stay and finish this but as no fight offer came I thought it was dead and just sacked him with the rest. Annoncing gwad as the winner is fine by me.
  19. I remember reading somewhere (maybe the wiki?) long ago that a 2 star difference is what you need for the maximum gain. So if you are a beginner you don't need GSP, any competent coach would do. It sounds realistic and also in line with the rest of the training system so I always went by that. That's it for me, bye guys.
  20. You think after years of playing this game, fighting the best managers, winning, defending and loosing belts in lots of different orgs.. After that I decide to sack all my fighters and leave just to dodge one fight against you? ? Nah, you cannot be that stupid, that would be almost Camara-level dumb. You are just looking for a bit of trolling here.
  21. Btw, what kinda shitty attitude is that against someone leaving just trying to be helpful answering a question in the noob help forum?
  22. I'm staying around for my last fight since I want to fulfill the commitments I made as much as I can and make a clean break. One more day then the rest of my fighters are sacked. Sorry I had to reject a fight against you because of this.
  23. It should do to some extent since you need some skill difference for maximum sparring gains for your lower skilled fighters, but the difference is so small I never managed to notice it.
  24. John Fury: I dominated in the clinch, dominated at range. He tried taking it to the ground and I would have loved to dominate there too. I don't fear punches, I don't fear my opponents. But there is that lady with the sharp pen and all I could think of inside that cage was her coming after my ass with it. That thing hurts worse than a low blow. So I had to skip over the ground game and finish things up with a few good old punches to the face. Thanks to my new manager for believing in me and making this possible. 3 in a row straight to the title! And thanks to the Sucker punch staff I guess for the eeh.. unorthodox ways you motivate your fighters, that shit works.
  25. All the 3 things you pick at creation adds to its respective hidden. The ToT will only maybe give you a hint about one or two of them, it will never show you everything about a fighter.
