  1. Sensei FC 4 Preview Written by Ernieply Welcome Sensei fans, and merry Christmas! If you’re looking for the stocking with the best stuff, Sensei 4 is looking quite full. Sensei FC has been blowing up on the Asian MMA scene thanks to some stunning fights and this event is no exception as fighters from Japan to Norway to America come the 25th, December at The Underground- Tokyo to fight so without further ado, let's get on with this preview. This event is brought to you by Paddy’s Enhancing Drugs (160Q) (6714) Main Event Middleweight- 5 Rnd- Gabriel Mellios (1-0-0) VS Charlie Fredrickson (1-0-0) Gabriel is slightly better at striking but slightly worse at grappling, both are best at grappling but Mellios is barely better at ground game but just better enough to be significant; Mel is much taller at 189 cm (6’2”) and Gab is just 178 cm (5’8”) so the striking skill gap is filled by the literal gap between their reach. Overall, Mel will try to keep his distance ‘till he sees the chance to close in and takedown for a GNP TKO win. Gab will try to clinch and try to get him down for a sub so it’ll pretty much be a ground fight for a TKO or a Sub. Personally, I’m rooting for Mel as he’s being managed by K Britt, whose fighters I’ve interviewed; I know I’m being biased but you gotta root for someone. Co-Main Event Middleweight- 3 Rnd- Genji Okumichi (0-0-0) VS Jomar "Tofte Tiger" Habbestano (0-0-0) Genji is a superb boxer, he’s got a bit of expicance in wrestling but he might as well be a toddler when compared to Jomars’ ground game. Gen is taller at 188 (6’1”) so further reason he’ll dominate the 182 cm (5’2”) Jo but it works the other way round too. Gen absolutely must stay away and up as Jo will probably yank limbs ‘till he taps or throw GNP ‘till the ref’s seen enough. Of Course, they’re both debuting which makes him wildcards and a bit more harder to predict but if I, the dumbass 4-7 manager noobie can see that gen has to keep to keep 6 ft of the ground, cause it might as well have covid, then surely he’ll stay away. Main Card Light Heavyweight- 3 Rnd- Petr "Sirouš" SiroteK (1-1-0) VS Guilherme "Never Feeble" Pereira (0-1-0) Guilherme is an “interesting character” with an interesting fighting style and post fight ritual; he’s a former D1 wrestler, then moved to wrestle and study medicine at Cornell, then moved again to Japan to fight so it’s clear that Petr needs to keep this on the feet. Besides wrestling, Guil starts to fall apart as BJJ is absent from his skill set and effectively feeble stood up. Petr hasn’t had the best time with wrestlers in the past as, it seems, his Takedown Defence is lacking; Petr is much more well rounded as he can hold his own on the ground but he’ll struggle unless he can knock him out quickly. So Petr will try to stand but Petr will probably get the takedown and sub unless he can get the quick KO at the beginning of a round, ideally the first, but I’m picking Guli to win. Bantamweight- 3 Rnd- Levan Luddington (1-0-0) VS Manuel Requina (0-0-0) So Levan has all his chips on Wrestling, from his past fight, he seems to charge and takedown straight out the gate while Manuel seems to have split them between BJJ, Wrestling and a few on Boxing. I’m not sure if Manuel will try to stay up and avoid the ground or chance it on the ground and hope his purple belt can strangle Levan before he gets the sub. Middleweight- 3 Rnd- David "Stanky Leg" Pele (0-1-0) VS Shaun "The Dark Destroyer" Wallace (0-1-0) David is fairly balanced with stats between 4 and 7 whilst Shaun is wonderful at MT and can hold his own at wrestling so both can handle ground and standup. Well shit, both are fairly similar but if I had to guess, Shaun’s gonna clinch for the KO and Shaun’s gonna take him down for the sub. Undercard Lightweight- 3 Rnd- Eoin McGregor (0-0-0) VS Henry Payne (0-0-0) Two fighters making their debuts and well, spoilers but, this is gonna be a striking clinic as Eoin has Wonderful MT and Henry has Superb Boxing, all other primary stats are feeble or worse. If you’re one of those fans who hate ground game because “It’s just like a bunch of hugging, or whatever” then this is the bout for you. Henry will probably try to decapitate Henry with kicks and knees while Eoins will keep his distance; Eitherway, it’ll end up a T/KO. Light Heavyweight- 3 Rnd- Louis Arnold (1-0-0) VS Gannedy Golovin (0-1-0) So these two fighters are like complete opposites, straight up, Louis had wonderful Boxing and respectable wrestling, all else is useless. Gannedy is that but flipped, wonderful wrestling and respectable boxing, all else is useless. Louis has KO power, but guess what? Gannedy has a granite chin. Louis is gonna try to stay up, maybe throw a bit of GNP if he ends up on the ground. Gannedy will try to drag Lou down, with mild struggle as Lou has good takedown defence, and go for the sub. Heavyweight- 3 Rnd- Izak Jeppesen (0-0-0) VS Tommy "Rough Justice" Cornell (0-0-0) Izak is mediocre at wrestling but he’s remarkable at MT and knowing K Britt, he’ll probably go for the clinch and abuse Tom with Knees, Elbows, just limbs flailing everywhere. Tommy has to try to take him down and go for the sub, he’s abysmal at everything else or else he’s gonna have a real hard time serving justice. Tbh, I think Izak’s gonna win this one first maybe second round but who knows, both are debuting so anything can happen. Super Heavyweight- 3 Rnd- JR "Senior" Jenkins (1-0-0) VS Olavi Korhonen (0-1-0) Both specialise on the mats both Olavi is one belt ahead and slightly better at wrestling; he’s pretty much useless at standup, JR has feeble boxing which isn’t great but it’s the best shot he has at winning but he’s gonna have to hard time staying away to avoid takedowns because 1. He’s 190 (6’2”) and Olavi is 225 (7’3”). 2. Olavi is very speedy and strong gameground fighters tend to have low takedown defence as they think “Oh if I get taken down, I’ll be better then them so I’ll be fine” so he’ll probably get taken down a lot till the sub comes. Light Heavyweight- 3 Rnd- Hendrix Parker (1-0-0) VS Benjamin Read (0-1-0) Last but not least, it’s a bout between a confident stand up beast versus a top notch boxer with respectable wrestling. To be more specific, Hendrix has Wonderful MT and Respectable Boxing but on the own, he might as well be a practice dummy for Benjamin to practice his wrestling. Ben has Wonderful Boxing so Hen can’t just bully Ben on the feet, but he can in the clinch as Ben is useless.
  2. Commonwealth FF1 Preview Written by Ernieply Link to the event https://mmatycoon.com/orgupcomingeventpublic.php?EvID=954588 Welcome to The Commonwealth Fight Federation, a new org based in London with new blood to spill, inflated egos to protect and seats to be sold at The Underground in London. But you didn’t pick up this preview to read about the history of the org, no no, it’s time to hop on the CFF hype train straight to Commonwealth FF 1 to learn about the 7 fights and what to expect. Long story short, it’ll be one hell of a show, including the quarter finals of the Grand Prix for the first Lightweight Title between the Speedy Ronnie “Tap or Nap” Gomez versus a promising Rookie making his debut as a top notch MT guy, Nathan Piers. This event is possible thanks to our Merchandise Partner, Dick Dolla Douchebag. Need something to put over your birth suit? How about something that makes you look like a complete douchebag? Well with DDD, you can get clothing priced at $69 (nice) on every piece of clothing and shirts that protest the need for Mike to add Miami into the game. With all the fluff out of the way, let's get started. Main Event Light Heavyweight- 5 Rnds- Billy Butcher (0-0-0) VS Machiel Hondeveld (1-0-0) Just a heads up, a lot of these fights are making their debut to MMA and this fight is no exception. Billy is pretty much a Socker Bopping machine as he’s very reliant on Boxing, but Machiel matches Billy’s boxing whilst heavily out classing his ground game; this is due to age as Billy is 18 and the other is 25. Overall, expect both to put on a striking clinic that will be shut down by a takedown and a TKO/Sub win. Co-Main Heavyweight- 3 Rnds- “Funky” Sainey Diawara (0-0-0) VS Aad Ridderinkhof (0-1-0) Funky is a bit of a wild card as he’s skilled at MT and wrestling, but not great at BJJ and boxing. He’s 176 cm (5’7”) in a division full of guys above 6’, his manager is seasoned and experienced and, most importantly, his intro song is the Ghostbusters. Aad is a lot taller at 197 cm (6’4”) and he’s slightly better MT and wrestling but slightly worse at boxing and BJJ so it’s a mixed bag that’ll be hard to guess and I honestly have no idea how it’ll go, it’ll probably be Funk as he’s a bit more balanced and his manager would have a better game plan but what that game plan is, I have no idea. Undercard Lightweight Grand Prix Quarterfinal- 3 Rnd- Ronnie“Tap of Nap”Gomez (1-0-0) VS Nathan Piers (0-0-0) The Grand Prix Quarter Finals for Lightweight iis upon us; Ronnie is pure BJJ as he’s useless at everything except for a little bit of wrestling whilst Piers is pure MT as he’s useless at everything except for a little bit of boxing so this fight will end up as a tug of war for the ground and the feet. At least it’s unlikely to go to a decision. Ronnie is quick so he’ll probably take down and sub while Piers will try to avoid getting close except for the quickly broken clinches where he’ll get in, abuse him and get out before a takedown is attempted. Personally, I’m tilting towards Ronnie but Piers has got better than a striker's luck. Middleweight- 3 Rnd- Easton Campbell (0-0-0) VS Conner “Big P” Power (0-0-0) Here are two new challengers, Easton is solely MT and Big P is mainly BJJ with some wrestling, it’s a classic tale of Stand Up versus Ground Game fighters and as they’re both new, you can’t really guess what will happen, especially as both managers are fairly new (no offence). Welterweight- 3 Rnd- Dawson Keen (0-0-0) v Jamie Muri (0-0-0) Both are great ground fighters but Muri is better at wrestling and Keen is better at BJJ. When it comes to ground game, it’s very helpful to have a good game plan but from what we can go off, Muri will be better at takedowns putting him in a dominant position but Keen will probably be better at transitions and subs so either Muri gets a quick takedown followed by a TKO finish or Keen gets taken down but pulls a Sub out of nowhere. Bantamweight- 3 Rnd- Alexander Ralph (1-0-0) v Albert Swann (0-0-0) Ralph is a BJJ brown belt but that comes at the cost of everything else and his game plans tend to be more quantity and quality when it comes to subs. Swann can hold his own on the mat but with an opponent like Ralph, he’s gonna stick to what he does best, which is MT. For some reason, I feel like Swann will be a bit harder to takedown then most so he’ll probably get the T/KO but if Ralph can bring it to the ground then it’ll be an easy sub. Super Heavyweight- 3 Rnd- Richard “Big Dick” Boyd (1-0-0) v Bjorn Guffavson (0-0-0) Last but not least, Boyd is far better than Boyd at standup but only slightly worse at ground game so it seems like Bjorn is kinda fucked, well Boyd has a tendency to cut so if Bjorn can drag it out and take advantage of that then he’s won. Boyd will probably win by T/KO but Bjorn has a chance on the ground but from what I see, either he gets knocked out or he can cut Boyd so much that it ends up a doctor stoppage.
  3. Dude "Hello, It's been a bit but I'm back and I'm back with the submission master and champion of 185 with a 7-0 record, it's Dean Howard" "How are we today?" Dean "I'm doing good, how 'bout you?"Dude "Mainly excited, it's not every day you meet with someone with such a title"Dean "I'm glad to be here, really happy at my success in the pros, also really happy with the money I make."Dude "Such high profile ones too, like Jake Paul for example"Dean "Yeah, the opponents are getting harder, but I went pro late for these things, so things get harder. So far, I'm holding up well. I keep gaining skills. I'm told I impress people with how I pick things up, so that's helping."Dude "How would you say that fight went?"Dean "That couldn't have been better, took him down real fast, then my first try at a sub, he tapped. I didn't even break a sweat!"Dude "Seems like you've got a habit of first round subs, would you say that's a large part of your success? Are there any other large reasons for it?"Dean "Well, the thing that the rest of the team tells me that it amazes people how fast I pick up skills. And so I get the quick subs because I have the wrestling skills to get people down and then also BJJ once it's on the ground. One without the other wouldn't be half as good. Truman Roosevelt, the same management group, tried to develop to be like me and he couldn't learn anything so they ditched him.Somehow, I don't think of myself as especially smart, but I pick up skills well it seems."Dude "A quick learner, do you think you'll have to learn anything new for your Tim Horton"Dean "He's a major challenge because he can destroy me standing up as long as the fight stays there and he'll be harder than most to take down. He went pro much younger than I did, and those guys catch up faster. I don't want to give away what I'm working on specifically, but they definitely have me working on stuff specifically to beat Horton."Dude "A major challenge eh? So out of 10, how confident are you that you're going to win?"Dean "I have to say about a 5. Depends which of us is ready for what the other's gonna do, could easily go either way. We've always been able to come up with good tactics to win fights, and I just have to hope that I and the group that manages me, come up with good ones again. If we don't have the better tactics, it'll be really hard."Dude "Well fuck, it's a classic story of standup vs ground game. Both skilled but mainly in their own domains"Dean "Neither of us is one dimensional. I've learned to be an okay boxer, for example. He sure has some ground skills too. But I'm not the striker he is, and he isn't the grappler I am, so when it comes down to it, it probably is both about both dictating where the fight takes place but also surviving when you're in the other guy's domain. I have to avoid being KO'd standing, and he has to avoid my arm and leg twisting talents on the ground, because chances are some of the fight will be in both places."Dude "It's like a tug of war""the both of you are pulling for the ground and the feet""Anyway, why did you choose to specialize in grappling?"Dean "Back when I was on the wrestling team in high school, where I just had natural talent, was the star back then, even got an athletic scholarship for wrestling that got me through college, and then I thought I was done, because there's no professional stuff for wrestlers that isn't scripted, might have ended up some office drone, but I heard if I studied BJJ I might be able to use it in real MMA...so I did that, and my BJJ coach got me into seeing the Britt group, and they watched me spar and agreed to be my agents. It was at their insistence that I sparred a lot of Boxing to have some stand up skills too, to hopefully get me through fights like the Horton one."Dude "Damn, you know I've been hearing a lot about The Britts and I'm curious, how are they?""obviously, they're skilled especially with a HOF manager"Dean "I really like working with them, they'll start with older fighters more than many will, the group of fighters they have really feel like a team. Ike Wellstone kind of is an unofficial captain. He lost his title, but would've kept it in a 3 round fight. The one thing I hate is that their flagship gym is in Japan. If you think I felt outnumbered growing up as a black guy in Vermont, that's nothing like being a black American in Japan. But Ike and I, two black Americans, go out on the town at night in Tokyo sometimes, and that's cool, and sometimes we go with others from the group. The Britts really insist we're all one big team, and it feels like it, and mostly we win."Dude "We mostly win feels like an understatement, 115 wins and 34 losses is a damn good record considering just how many fighters they have"Dean "I'd say I'm really happy with their management, but they get those wins by being picky. They start out with guys others might not, who others might say are too old to start as pros or something, but they also will tell fighters when they aren't cutting it anymore and will sack 'em. Though we're such a family the sacked guys come and visit and hang from time to time, too. Someone like me or Ike will get more latitude from them, but those who never accomplished much had better not lose a couple or they're out of the management group. So they know how to manage, but also win by getting rid of guys who they don't think will still win. That may be a negative, but on the other hand when I'm through, whether that's a year or several years away, they'll bluntly tell me, and I don't even want to be an anchor on the team when that comes about. I'll still go hang around with the guys I got to know among the team, though at times. Ike and I, I think will be friends for life, for example."Dude "Brutal but it makes sense, they want winners""Are there any noticeable fighters that you knew who got sacked?"Dean "Edward Smart being sacked was a bit of a shock. He started out so extremely successfully, got two title shots in a really tough org. Really though he won all his non title fights, but they didn't like what they saw in his second title loss, so he was gone. He got picked up by another manager quickly, too. Truman Roosevelt was a good friend and had such similar talents, so I was sad to see him go, but he really didn't pick up much from his coaches and I could tell when we'd spar Wrestling or BJJ I kept getting better and he didn't, but I was close to him, another wrestler who studied BJJ to fight in MMA, but he took some losses and the Britts saw he wasn't picking up new skills so they cut him. He'll hang with me and Ike, comes out to Bellicose events in New York to cheer on the other guys from the Britt group. He's not dumb, too bad he didn't learn things faster or he could be, well, another guy like me."Dude "Let me just search Smart up" *tapping* "I mean 5-2 isn't bad as his two losses were to belt holders but he was a bit of a gatekeeper. Defeat him and you're ready for a title fight type thing"Dean "Yeah, Smart's sacking really shocked me. He got subs well too, and he seemed to be learning okay and everything. It's not my place to tell the Britts they're wrong to sack someone, but...I thought they were pulling the trigger on Smart pretty fast. Ike called him, and told me Edward's pretty angry at the Britts for that, too. I'm glad we're in different weight classes, so I'll never have to fight him, because I'm sure Smart would be so pumped to beat a Britt fighter that if he ever fought one of us his adrenaline might make him a really dangerous opponent, against any of us. Makes me worry about a guy like Backman. He lost a title fight, and had won everything else before it, including holding the BMF title when it went down, if he loses one more, is he gone? But the Britts have been good to me, so I don't go confronting them with that sort of thing."Dude "If they're willing to let someone on the cusp of a belt go, I think they'd do the same thing to Backman" "I think that's a good place to end it, any final words before we go offline"Dean "Well, I just hope fans will be watching my big fight against Horton next week and rooting hard for me, any good vibes might be the difference in what should be a really tough matchup!"Dude “I'm sure they'll be roaring for ya, cheers"
  4. BLAZE BROTHERS 13 - Bartz VS Capellio - Written by Ernieply Howdy blood enthusiasts, looking for your next serve of fresh knuckle sandwiches? Well here at Blaze Brothers, we’ve got it in folds with our main course being a 205lb feast including title holder Chad Bartz and Fabiano Capellio, heavyweight champ of GAMMA: Contenders. Maybe you’re bulking for that beach bod, how does heavyweight sound with 1x Fight of the Night and 2x KO of the Night Noah Anderson against real life Stretch Armstrong, Clarence Hoost? Maybe you like that title holder taste in your brawls? How about Ziggy King, kick boxing Super heavyweight title holder at Cut-Throat Fighting Alliance versus the ever so confident Zdeno “Big Z” Chara. All this and more at Hard Knocks, Las Vegans and is all possible with the help of the Dirty Needle Project; Need some meds to lose a few extra pounds, maybe looking to make your beefcake of an arm bigger, well The Dirty Needle Project will help make you Harder, Better, Faster, and Richer as they have some of the cheapest supps on the market. Luckily, there are no tomato salads on the menu for this event so with intros and sponsors out of the way, let’s get started. Light Heavyweight Title Fight- Chad Bartz (9-3-0) VS Fabiano Capellio (7-0-0) An easy paycheck for Chad Bartz is one thing this fight is not, especially as Capellio has been on a 7 win tear that got him a title at GAMMA. They both mainly knockout people but Capellio has the edge overall; he’s better on the ground but on the feet is where he’ll shine as he’s a better boxer and has the deadly combo of flexibility and lethal high kick. Chad will probably try to keep his distance with tit for tat using his hands so either Chad gets submitted/KO’d or it’ll go to a split decision. Heavyweight Fight- Noah Anderson (9-3-0) VS Clarence Hoost (8-1-0) This is one of those fights where it’s hard to confidently predict where the fight will go as they both seem great in distinct but similar ways but it’s worth a guess. One clear advantage/disadvantage is Noah's height, he’s 220 cm (7’2”) but Hoost is only 202 cm (6’6”) which is still very tall but Noah is so high, he has his head in the clouds. I know Hoost is flexible but if he can kick ⅔ of a ruler above his head, he should consider gymnastics as an alternative career. Besides height, both are great at kicking but Hoost is slightly better at stand up, stat wise, though height might balance it out. The ground is where Hoost should strike as it’s earlier to submit Noah’s long limbs. Heavyweight Fight- Ziggy King (3-1-0) VS Zdeno “Big Z” Chara (6-4-0) It’s clear Big Z will try to takedown and GNP or submit King while he’ll try to keep it a kickboxing match and stay away from the ground as if it had Covid. Knowing Z, he’ll probably get that takedown through shire belief but he has to be extremely careful of King’s clinch, punches, just his everything related to stand up as it’s a difference of Proficient (8) and Exceptional (13).
  5. Dude "And we're live, I'm Dude McChadStrongwick and I'm joined by none other than the belt challenger, the man closest to claiming gold at 265 pounds and nearly 6'4, it's Vedran "The Missile" Mihaljevic. I hope the studio isn't too small for you, how are you doing?" Miha "Is good studio, yes. Chair is good. Am doing well. Big excitement, yes!" Dude "Perfect, so how did you get into MMA?" Miha "Was accident, truly. Signed up for Blood Drive one day. Try to give blood, yes? No. Is MMA fights called Blood Drive 5 in Zagreb, my home. Much funny. But win, so try as job. Works good, yes." Dude "And winning you've been doing a fair bit, what would you say is the biggest reason for your success?" "Not to take anything away from your hard work and training but everyone else is doing that, normally there's something special that allows for a 5-0 record" Miha "I think that one easy. I learn to be tough from tv, same as English. Mr. T, he teach take no bull from anyone. Hulk Hogan teach take vitamin and get sun tan, yes? Rocky teach never give up. Go Joe!" Dude "oh I see, I presume you watched a lot of American tv growing up. Do you think you could beat Rocky or Hulk Hogan in a fair fight?" "I know that's a weird questions but I'm curious" Miha "Oh yes, much tv. Old shows. MacGyver was good show. I could beat Rocky and Hogan, I think. Sweep the legs, yes? Take legs, they fall down. Is good plan, yes?" Dude "It does seem like they're not big fans of leg day, what about your next opponent Prokop Pustik? Is your game plan gonna be to sweep him?" Miha "Maybe work legs a little, I think. Try to keep him off the ground. He is good ground pounding, so not so good for me, yes? Then hit him many times in face, maybe work ribs like Rocky. Many good things to try, sometime not so good working out." Dude "so 1 to 10, what are you're odds of beating him?" Miha "If standing up and not a good chin, I beat easy 10/10. If go long rounds, more chance of takedown, odds not so good, go 5/10, maybe? Is good champion, yes? I throw kitchen sink at him, see what happen." Dude "If he losses, that's what he gets for not responding to my interview request" "That's a threat to anyone who doesn't interview with me, they'll get a kitchen sink yeeted at them" "Ok, back to the questions. What would you say is your hardest fight so far?" Miha "So much is Gorilla Gordon. Has good chin, truly. Hit him many times and many in the body to soften him. Third round it takes to get him. Like that fight, very much. Maybe sometime we do rematch. Good fighter and like his name. Gorilla! Haha" Dude "I think he's about 16 places below the champ so rip, what about your easiest fight?" Miha "Ah, that one go quick. Patrick Knight, yes? Throw many punches very fast. Only take 58 seconds of fighting. Good to get money for one minute work, I think. Like his hair, truly, like mine only pink. Makes me laugh." Dude "so if you do get the title, how long do you think you'll hold onto it?" Miha "Hope many fights. But anything can happen all the time. Very good fighter Van Thuringen coming up. Truly good boxer. Tough...fight three times and not even one minute in any fight. All knockout. Like boogeyman." Dude "I know this might be coming off bluntly but how do you feel about your last manager Domagoj Rakitic?" Miha "Is too bad he not sticking around for the run to title shot. Why he cut me loose? I win both fights under him, always train, got good chance at belt. Maybe he make mistake, yes? Show him that true, for sure. Think he is not thinking so good." Dude "So what do you think is the main reason for you getting a title shot?" Miha "Talk to Mr. Bautista about Title fight and he say, first I must win fight against Big Burtha. If win, can have shot at Title, unbeaten vs unbeaten. So, is good of Mr. Bautista to keep word, yes?" Dude "I think that's a good place to end the interview, any last words before we stop?" Miha "Just to say, will have fun going to punch somebody in the face! Yes!" Dude "Best of luck on your next fight and good night".
  6. Hello, if you're interested in learning about the champs of Bellicose, There's an interview with Lightweight Champ Datte Bayo which includes talk of his latest fight, his training philosophy and "The Source of Life". https://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?/topic/69032-interview-with-lightweight-champ-of-bellicose-datte-bayo/
  7. Dude "And we are live, hello MMA fans I'm Dude McChadStrongwick and I'm joined with the baddest lightweight of the world with a perfect 4-0 record, It's Datte "Believe It" Bayo. It's an honour to have you here, how are you doing?" Datte "I'm doing great, happy to be coming fresh off a victory. It's been a long time coming and we are excited to be pushing forward." Dude "Not just any victory but one that ended with a new champ, what were you thinking when you entered the octagon with, then, champion Moussa?" "What was your game plan and did it work out as intended?" Datte "I knew his gameplan consisted of trying to get me on the ground and sub me out.. I planned accordingly and hit him with some hard shots on the outside until I felt like he was hurt and took it to the clinch. I wasn't as accurate as I would have liked but once I hit that knee to the head, I knew I could finish the fight." Dude "Damn, I don't think a single opponent has made it 3 minutes with ya. What would you say is the biggest reason for your success?" Datte "I am in convicted in my belief to overcome adversity. I know I am not indestructible but I fight with purpose. Every second in the cage is an opportunity for me to show people where I come from and my way of life. I swing with purpose. I'd also like to thank my camp. Everyone in there is a beast and I'm the littlest guy there. I'm constantly sparring with people 30+ pounds heavier than me. " Dude "A humble response, but how did you get into MMA?" Datte "I have been instructed in martial arts from a young age. It was never combative focused until just a few years ago. Everything was just about being in good physical shape and finding peace within myself in this life. I left a talented prospect injured in my first amateur debut bout via way of KO in the first round & was suggested I go try my hand in the Big Apple at a professional org just opening up. It was never my ambition to be the champion. I just kept accepting fights, resting assured that I was taking care of myself and my family." Dude "Ahhh ok, so even though you didn't want to be champ you just kept winning 'till you were one" "but if you could go back and not become a champ, would you change your fate" Datte "I truly believe that everything I am doing is aligning me with my purpose. If this is where I am right now, this is where I am meant to be. I am not in control." Dude "so you believe in fate, are you part of a religion or?" Datte "my religion and spirituality just comes from within. I am connected to the source of life and it gives me the strength to overcome." Dude "I'm glad you didn't say something like "the power of friendship" or something" "Anyways, as you're champ you'll probably have to defend it. Is there anyone in your weight class that you see as a challenge, maybe try branching off into a new weight class?" Datte “There is plenty of young talented fighters in the division.. I plan on taking whoever is thrown at me. I don’t think a champion should get much say over who they are going to be fighting to defend their title. If I successfully defend one or two times I would love to see Daverio in 145 for the belt as that’s where I started my career off. I’m happy to announce I extended my contract for 5 more fights, so we will just have to see where that takes us.” Dude "So you're not much of a can crusher. All of your answers are hella honest and humble, how do ya do it?" Datte “I enjoy strong competition. The key for me has been consistently training and never taking a day off.. I train every day as if my next fight was a Goliath. I don’t back down and I am truly convicted in belief of my higher self.” Dude "Overall, a pretty good fight philosophy." "That seems like a good place to end the interview, is there anything you'd like to say to our viewers before we stop" Datte “Thanks for having me. Thank you to all the fans for all the support and thank you for pushing me be the best I can be.” Dude "May you have the best of luck on future title fights"
  8. Hey, If you're interested in learning more about the champs of Bellicose. An Interview with Bantamweight Supreme Jerry Goon is out now as we talk about his rivalry with Featherweight Champ Mateo Daverio, his only loss against Patrick Bateman and his raw strength in his right hand. https://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?/topic/69017-with-dude-mcchadstrongwick-an-interview-with-bantamweight-champ-of-bellicose-jerry-goon/&tab=comments#comment-954441
  9. Dude "Hello MMA fan, I'm Dude McChadStrongwick and I'm joined with the baddest bantamweight in the world with a record of 5-1. It's Jerry Goon, thank you for taking time out of your day to join us how are you doing?" Jerry "Thanks for having me. I'm doing great, just a bit sore and tired. Long ass flight back home" Dude "New York to London damn, that's a long-ass flight" "Let's get into the questions before you feel the need to take a nap; How did you get into MMA?" Jerry "Oh yea luckily I travel 1st class so not as bad." " Well as I'm sure you've noticed I have a few family members that fight as well. So it was just the natural thing to do. Get paid to beat people up" Dude "I imagine that belt has made them quite proud of you" Jerry "Oh for sure but I've claimed gold before and just got back what was rightfully mine. We are just waiting on the rest of us to take over and claim a few more." "Sorry for generic responses, that combo he hit me with is still a bit fresh lol, guy (his last opponent) hits like a freight train." Dude "That's fine, being concussed is pretty normal for this sport. Speaking of gold, what do you think went wrong with the title fight against Patrick Bateman?" "Cause he's a world-class submission artist but he got you with strikes" Jerry "Honestly nothing went wrong. I trained hard for that fight but just couldn't stop 2 TDs. The last one was the game over one. I had a game plan and it just didn't go my way." "He went ape shit on the ground and a couple got through. My ground game has vastly improved, so that won't happen again" "Now all I have to worry about is the clinch spamming pussy manager K Britt. Him and his fighters are bitches." Dude "Oh I've interviewed some of K Britts fighters but they seemed kind, though they were in different weight classes, would you care to elaborate what you mean by that?" Jerry "I mean just take a look at his fighters...Spam elbows in the clinch, it takes 0 skill vs lesser opponents." "I'll get that 145lb belt back" Dude "You're talking about Mateo Daverio (Champ of 145lb at Bellicose) aren't you? Ah fuck, I just interviewed him" Dude "let's get back on topic, if you were to rematch Patrick would it go down differently?" "Would you change your game plan at all?" Jerry "I'd sleep him in 2 minutes, no doubt at all. Game plan would be the same" Dude "I assume you'll do that with your notorious right hand" "Everyone else is fighting with iron and bronze, meanwhile, your fighting with tungsten covered hands" Jerry "Everyone of my finishes has been due to the J Bomb. No one at 135 or 145 can handle my power" "Take this title fight, for example, I was rocked and still landed it and put him away" Dude "I know this is a dumb question but how much can you bench?" Jerry "I don't go for a max but I can do 35 reps at 225lbs" "If I was to guess I'd say about 290lb would be a max, I never really went with bulk weight vs rep weight" (Go to https://www.healthline.com/health/exercise-fitness/average-bench-press#average-for-men for comparison) Dude "Were you always this strong or was it just a lot of hard work?" Jerry "Oddly enough it's just been natural, I mean of course, I train a bit but being strong is how I've been able to KO people. Perks of a fighting family and the love of fighting" Dude "So it's in your blood" Jerry "That it is" Dude "Damn, what does your average morning look like?" "Wake up, chug a bucket of raw eggs and beat a dead cow?" Jerry "Wake up 3am eat eggs and steak. 4am-6am its sparring. "Rare steak.. None of that med well bs them northern people eat" Dude "So with all that effort, If you had to guess how much longer you'll hold your title, what would your guess be?" "and are you interested in maybe getting a belt in both divisions?" Jerry "I'm never going to lose it. There is no one at 135lb that can contend with me or handle my power" "Of course but that's down the road a bit. I have to clear out the BM division before I start looking at 145 again" Dude "I mean, is there no one in 145lb that has a chance" Jerry "The champ is about my only comp(etition) at 145 in my mind and I already know his game plan. But as said in order to be a champ you must defend your belt and I have yet to do that. I'm ready this weekend if needed" Dude "Considering I've interviewed you both, I'm excited to see which one will be next as they'll surely be accepted into the hall of fame for having two belts" Jerry "HOF is up to the people, if they think I deserve it then hell yea but it's just a bonus. I have to focus only on what I can control" "I'm ready to fight asap and I know there is already a challenger lined up. So let's get this shit done" Dude "Do you know who that challenger is?" Jerry "My guess would be Artemis Bay seeing as he's on a 4 fight win streak but he may have a fight lined up vs Max Chapman and the winner of that gets me but I'm hoping I don't have to wait that long" Dude "Well, I think that's a good place to end the interview, thanks for the leak" "Any words before we stop? Jerry " Feels good to be back on top but now this is where the hard work starts. I know there are some savages coming after me and I have to be prepared on ALL levels. K Britt don't be a bitch and let's get this fight signed up" Dude "Hahahaha welp thanks for coming on" Jerry "Anytime and again thank you for having me, always fun to be part of a great podcast" Dude "Best of luck on your next title fight" Jerry "Thank you, now time for some sleep and see how bad my brain is damaged lmao"
  10. Hey, if you're interested in learning more about the champs of Bellicose. I've done an interview with the king of Featherweight Mateo Daverio about his story, his fights and his future. https://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?/topic/68999-interview-with-featherweight-champ-of-bellicose-mateo-daverio/
  11. Dude "Hello everybody, I'm Dude McChadStrongwick and I'm joined by the baddest man of the Featherweight division at Bellicose, whom has a perfect record of 5-0, It's Mateo Daverio, how are you doing today?" Mateo "I'm doing well and happy to be here." Dude "Great, I suppose we should just jump straight into the questions, how did you get into MMA?" Mateo "I was a small kid, still am a small guy- that's why I'm a Featherwight- and got picked on, because I was kinda athletic, but scrawny on the streets in a pretty bad neighborhood in Milan. In high school it got really bad, so my parents first tried sending me to karate lessons, Way too much discipline for me. So I suggested maybe I could learn to box instead, and I was okay, would try to clinch up and was good in the tight spaces, but man, I just wanted to use everything I had in those clinches- knee, elbow, everything- and still wasn't allowed to do it. I was complaining, about when I turned 18, in the boxing gym about the stupid rules. So a guy overhears me, tells me of MMA, where you can do almost anything, can't kick someone in the nuts or gouge their eyes, but almost anything else. Talked to me about different styles to base it on, Muay Thai seemed like my kind of thing. So I found a Muay Thai trainer and played around with it as an amateur, became well known among amateurs in Italy. There was some chatter, so the Britts came to watch me, and suggested if I listened to them they could help me train to be pro and make a lot of money beating people up, they loved my talent. It's important there are weight classes, because I'd still have no chance against the really big guys. No I get paid to beat guys up, and they all have to be about my size, and I'm loving life!" Dude "so you started out boxing but later moved into MMA, doing more Muay Thai. Would you say either is your strongest attribute as a fighter so is there something else that helped you to the top?" Mateo "I think the biggest thing that helped me, was when I learned to enjoy it- which I didn't with Boxing, so many rules, limits. I'm such a natural clinch fighter, always was, and Muay Thai I could knee and elbow, after having been beaten up even in high school, feels so good to dish that back out, and once I got into Muay Thai with less limits, I started enjoying it, so now I go in the cage and even if I like the guy I'm fighting, I still like that I get to hurt him. If he taunts me or makes me mad or something, then that's when I really enjoy ripping him a new one. Maybe I should have learned submission grappling, the scream when I did a sub move woulda felt good, but elbowing thrown in with punches and all, I can open up cuts and stuff, it's still all fun, turning the tables from what I went through as a teen." Dude "So even if you weren't getting paid, would you risk blood and bone just to fight a bit more?" Mateo "If there were no pro MMA, I'd still be doing it as an amateur, which I did, for years, before the Britts came out to watch me, said they were impressed, and helped to lead me to actually make big money doin' it. But if they'd never found me, or there weren't pro MMA, I'd still be doing it as an amateur, absolutely." Dude "But has there ever been an opponent that showed any serious challenge? I only ask because from your pro fight record, there was only one person who made it to the end and even he lost." "The rest got KO'd in such a brutal fashion too" Mateo "I was afraid of Dell (his lastest title defence), I know. I ended up winning, but he's so talented on the ground, it takes some luck. One thing I had to start doing after turning pro was make sure I could wrestle some, even learn some submission grappling too, so I wouldn't be easy to take down and could avoid being destroyed if I was. It was something the Britts said I needed or I'd get taken down and lose that way, and though I've drilled on that it's always the nightmare scenario. So if Dell got me down and kept me there, that fight goes the other way. I worked hard to make it so it wouldn't happen, but that fight was more risky than it might've looked." Dude "I believe that was your first title defence, but were you not intimidated by the guy you took the belt from Patrick Bateman?" Mateo "I never take a fight for granted, but Bateman was gonna be easy to beat up on our feet, and wasn't as dangerous on the ground as Dell either. I was more confident I could handle it if he took me down, and I knew on his feet he was pretty helpless. Dell wasn't even so helpless on his feet, and was a bigger threat on the ground, so made me more nervous." Dude "So he might as well be a dead man walking, seems like the people he had to pass to be champ were just weak or had bad managers. How do you feel about Bellicose and, mainly, your weight division?" Mateo "I think Bellicose is an amazing organization. I couldn't ask to have a better run group to work with. They're now the only org for fighters with my level of pro experience, and that led to a lot of the guys I see around with the management group being in it too, and a lot in the same weight division, and the Britts won't want us to fight each other. We weren't all meant to be in the same division in the same org, but with other orgs folding it ended up that way. I guess Bray is working to lose weight to fight in Bantam or something, which maybe he'll be another in our group that gets a title that way. But Bellicose has good quality in every way, and the only negative at all is there are too many of us from the same group clogging up Feathers in it." Dude "I think that's a good place to end the interview. You've been a great guest, do you have any final words before we end?" Mateo "I just wanna say that I'm involved with a lot of class acts, that we talked about. Bellicose is a class act, the fighters I work with in the management group, the fighters at Simply The Best gym, these are class acts. My opponents mostly are too, even if I love to beat them up. I feel so lucky, making big money to do something I love, and someday I'll run into one of the bullies from high school and let him see what I can do to him now, haha." Dude "Thank you and best of luck on your next title defence" Mateo "Thank you and have a nice day."
  12. Hey, I'm searching for a writing gig. I don't mind if pays not high, I'm mostly interested in doing interviews. The closest I've got to an example of my writing is an essay on why more people should use buzz but I like the idea of interviewing the champs of an org.
  13. As the title says, idk how to use it on a fighter. I won it from the spin and win.
  14. Assuming you're doing anything you can to gain weight (supplements, lack of cardio, etc) what's the max amount you can gain and if there is a limit then how long would it take? Is there anything else that would help gain weight?
