  1. Looking to buy VIP, send PM if interested. Manager id = 37033
  2. Stop giving free agent fighters to the manager with the most hype, instead give them to the manager who bid the most money... Then do the same with fighter creation, basically the same stuff that I've been proposing before =)
  3. We need a market where our money is used and supply and demand set the prices. I have earlier suggested to make a market around new fighters and free agents as that's the only viable idea I can come up with.
  4. I'll take your word for it but this could easily be tweaked to make it more profitable to host high hype events (or less profitable for lower hype).
  5. Back on topic: We want managers to move their top ranked fighters to the top orgs. So what can these orgs offer that smaller ones can't? Money! And therefor we need money to count for something so that this turns into an incentive to go to the top orgs and face top opposition. I made a suggestion on how to make money count for something in the improvements section a few weeks ago but I'm up for anythig that makes money interesting. you just can't have a game where the overflow of money is so huge that pretty much everyone has more money than they need. I beilieve some kind of free market is the way to go.
  6. The managers' cash will be used for that.
  7. Well done, but what purpose does that money serve laying aroud in these guys' pockets? Perhaps it could be replaced by an indicator showing how much a prticular fighter has earned over his career, that would also give the benefit that the stat can't be boosted by giving money to a fighter.
  8. Well, as it is now new managers can't make decent fighters anyway as they can't afford to put them in small private gyms. Agreed that having to wait to get your first fighters is not very smart, let's give newcomers 4 random fighters to start out with. The whole point of this idea is that richer managers should get the best talent, to make us want to earn more cash and drive us to the biggest orgs. Also, when a "rich" manager spends big money to get a certain fighter he is not "rich" anylonger but has to go after cash again before he can make a new big signing. If you have fighter spots free but not enough money to get what you're looking for, just buy a fight-ready fighter of the fa-list instead and have him make money for you.
  9. Hey, I dunno if something like this has been proposed before if so forgive me. Anyway, I've been tycconing now for a bit over two years and eventough I enjoy the game there are some obvious flaws that perhaps could be remedied. The first thing is the manager ranking system where you can stay away from tough competition in order to get a high rank, what's missing is an incentive to go to the top orgs where the tough competition is. The second thing is that the ingame currency doesn't really mean anything except for the first few months for a new manager. After that you can easily run your own private gym and still have cash to just give away or something. So, my suggestion is aimed at creating incentives to go to the top orgs and this incentive will be cash (I guess that the best orgs van offer the biggest contracts, if not this will obviously need to be tweaked). So how do we make cash interesting? Well I suggest cash to be used at the very core of the game, getting talent to you stable of fighters. We simply need a open market wgere supply and demand makes the cash roll. Remove the possibility of creating fighters and instead autocreate a batch of new fighters once per week. Let these fighters be up for bidding during seven days and then let the top bidder get the fighter in question (bidding could be set up semi-public, meaning you get some information on what the bidding has been like so far but no the full picture, I would like to avoid auction as this means that you need to be online at the bidding deadline). Also change the Fa list to work in the same way. For this to work these fighters must of course be different, some of them can become stars some can not. Starting skills, aptitude and perhaps also introduction of a maximum possible skill value in different skills should differ. Some, but not all, of this information should be available but should be subject to some insecurity (maybe buying scouting reports could be added to get more accurate info). This will make the top prospects expensive and the not so promising fighters cheaper, but you might still fnd a bargain with some luck or go to the Fa list to buy already proven quality. I also believe this will spark some forum activity as people would like to follow the record fee signings to find out if they were the real deal or not. On a side note these changes will also fix some minor issues like creating 18 year olds, fighting them once just to see the TOTT. This is common practice now and is just silly, with these changes you could get that information already before you buy a fighter. Also, to support this I would like to remove the individual fighters' bank accounts and just let all cash flow in and flow out to the manager's account. There is really nothing for fighters to spend cash on so the fighters' cash is laundered over to a manager account sooner or later anyways. So, this is my proposal. All details are not completely ironed out so feel free to help out or shoot med down =)
  10. Lukasz Plexico (135910) is looking for a K1 contract, preferably in Europe
  11. Hey. On April 1st I will transform my gym in Helsinki into a 12 coaches gym (5 singles, 6 doubles, 1 tripple) with a cap of 40 fighters. A gym spot will cost 600/week plus 2000/month. The extra fee is ony for covering the cost. The price is fixed and if the gym at any time holds less fighters I will cover th losses myself. I have around 25 spots booked right now and I'm taking reservations for the remaining ones. PM if you're interested. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gympublic.php?gmid=2304
