  1. FCC 5: Title Night Review Ladies and Gentlemen, What a great night of MMA. Wild Bob's Bar of St Petersburg was packed with fight fans who could not wait for the action to start. Tonight saw the crowning of two champions for the vacant lightweight and welterweight belt as well as the pro debuts of a few promising young fighters The night opened with the pro debuts of two promising young Featherweights, Zap Zarab and Lindsey Brown. A close first round saw a cautious start from both fighters with a great mix of stand up and ground fighting. Zarab tried to take the fight to the ground in round 2 but Brown had his number and kept the fight standing. Round 3 and Zarab upped his game and brought the fight to Brown, Unfortunately it was not enough and Brown took the win by unanimous decision. Fight 2 had Undefeated Randy Silva take on Vlad Dudnicov. A fantastic fight and well deserving the Fight of the night award. Dudnicov wanted to tie Silva up in the clinch early on with Silva countering with body combinations. Dudnicov got the clinch and pressed Silva against the cage. Silva took it to the ground and tried a kimura to no avail. The referee stood the fighters back up and the two exchanged punches until Silva shot a takedown and got the mount. Round 2 Dudnicov rushes Silva with a wild flurry but Silva side steps and shoots the double leg takedown. Both fighters stand back up and Silva takes it to the ground again and throws some bombs. Back on their feet they traded again until a Dudnicov combo left him off balance and Silva pounced with a takedown and rained down blows from the top. Round 3 and Dudnicov clinched early. Silva turned the heat on from this point and took him to the ground again, Throwing huge punches. Both fighters went all out in the last few minutes of the round but Silva managed to rock him from the ground move in for the kill. The ref jumps in and stops the fight awarding Randy Silva the win by TKO Next up we saw Bantamweight Georgi Tomov take on Tiny Tim. Tim came out jabbing while Tomov wanted the takedown. Tomov changed things up with a clinch, Tim pulled guard but that fatal error cost him the fight as Tomov locked in a knee bar and took the win by submission Fight number 4 looked to be a good one as Undefeated Jason Worthy took on Shamil Uraev. Uraev shoots for the takedown from the bell but Worthy stuffs and throws a loose right hand then dives into a double leg takedown. He tries to pound away but Uraev avoids his punches and the fighters stand up. Worthy shot again and the referee stands them back up. a lot of ground action in round one, with Worthy trying two arm bars and a kimura. Round 2 and Uraev clinched and pulled guard. Worthy postures up, Lets loose his ground and pound and locks in a Kneebar causing Uraev to tap. Worthy is the winner by submission in round 2 and the Submission of the night The mid point of the night, fight five had Veikko Karhu take on Conn Igludden. Lots of ground action in round one as Igludden scores a takedown. Both guys pressed up against the cage trying to find space to work. Igludden worked Karhu over with some strikes from half guard. Karhu looked to lock in a submission but the fight goes back to standing. The fighters mix it up with some more striking then Karhu gets taken down again. Some great work from Karhu on his back trying submission after submission. A sweep by Karhu see's him back on top and going for a choke. Round 2 and Karhu locks in the clinch against the cage, Igludden takes him down but Karhu working for the submission again. Igludden, with great submission defence brushes off the triangle and gets the mount. Igludden throws a brutal head shot rocking Karhu then lets a monstrous elbow fly. The ref steps in and awards the win to Igludden by TKO Fight 6, Yves Jabouin vs Igor Haritonov. Pure aggression from both fighters. Jabouin trying to chop Haritonov down with leg kicks then a devastating right hook to the temple sends him to the mat. Jabouin lets him back up but Haritonov is clearly hurt. Jabouin sends Haritonov crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut. A straight right by Jabouin and Haritonov is down again, Jabouin jumps on him in the mount and rains down punishment before the ref stops the fight. A fantastic TKO victory to Yves Jabouin along with a well earnerd KO of the night Next Antonis Pap took on Cweti Ivanov In a fight that went the distance. Lots of clinching in round one with Pap being the aggresor. Ivanov stayed active landing punches from the outside but Pap swamed him throughout. Round 2 and Pap is straight back to the clinch. Ivanov managed to pull guard but Pap stood straight back up and worked him over in the clinch. Another dominant round for Pap, Landing some effective clinch strikes and leg kicks. Round 3 and pap sticks to the plan, back in the clinch. Both guys try the stand up game and have some success but it is not long before Pap ties Ivanov up again with a clinch. A third dominant round saw Antonis Pap take an easy unanimous decision Steve jones fought Jon Fitch next. Jones coming off back to back losses could have done with taking the win here but sadly for him tonight was not his night. Fitch kept the fight on the ground and at 3:48 of the first round locked in a kimura that handed Jones his third loss Now for the Co- main event of the evening. A 3 round fight for the vacant lightweight championship of the world between two very deserving warriors. Vale Karhu and Jacob Kellerman. Both fighters undefeated going into this fight. The bell rings and Kellerman takes one to the chin, Wich really set the tone for the remainder of the fight, All 30 seconds of it. Karhu ducked a punch and connected with a lethal looking right that rocked Kellerman. After one more shot from Karhu the ref had seen enough and stops the fight. After 31 seconds of the first round Vale Karhu is crowned lightweight champion of the world. And here we are ladies and gentleman. The main event of the evening. A 3 round fight for the vacant welterweight championship between Michael Condotta and Mustafa Graf. Both fighters were yet to taste defeat going into this title fight. The bell rang and Condotta rushed Graf to the cage with a clinch, a mistake in my humble opinion. Condotta jumped into guard, dragging Graf to the mat. Graf let loose a torrent of submission attempts. Condotta managed to deny him the submission and avoid the ground and pound but Graf is a very determined fighter and managed to grab a hold of Condotta's arm and crank a kimura for the Submission at 1:46 of round 1. A great showing from Mustafa Graf, The new welterweight champion
