  1. Yeah you guys are doing it wrong
  2. Great idea, doesn't even need to be that extreme if you ask me, maybe a confidence boost of 5 with 3 wins in a row. You get 6 maybe you get 15 or something
  3. The trick is to hit em in the junk. http://mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=617310 Beckett connects with a leg kick. Reagan looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Reagan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Beckett - the referee stops the clock and Reagan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Beckett. Reagan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Beckett throws a leg kick that is checked and Reagan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Beckett crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Reagan - the referee stops the clock and Beckett gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Reagan. Beckett manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. They weren't in the clinch, I've never seen this text before. Plus the fact it happened TWICE in one fight. Also "de groin"? Weird text, but hey whatever, sometimes you just gotta knee the other guy in his balls
  4. You're gonna eat up half the dough!! Let's just get some night train, then we can all have a good time
  5. Yeah UFC middleweights are in an interesting spot right now. With the best MW in the world going down it will be interesting to see how the UFC middleweight division plays out in the next year or so. Lotta guys gunning for Weidman.
  6. Come on now, this was an awesome post by Castor, I found it amusing and he was just excited to get his black belt. All you Nancies out there, sheesh. Good on you Castor
  7. ^^ I tend to only use them if I'm confident the fight will stay standing, or out of the clinch for most of the time. If I think I can outbox a guy, but otherwise...
  8. It's kind of the Tyson thing. If he knew he was going to win the fight, it was over. If he doesn't have the absolute confidence the difference is pretty amazing. I always thought BJ Penn was the same way. Penn vs Diaz?
  9. Lightweights, meet your new champion. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/43/43b10.jpg Mo Fealy doesn't care what the rest of the division looks like, "I'm here to win, plain and simple, in an ID restricted org, nobody can beat me. When I'm through wrecking my first victim, I'll keep on moving through your ranks, like a land shark, picking you off one by one." Tough words from a tough guy. Look for Fealy to make a big splash.

    Hand Position

I agree with this. Problem is it might make the simulator MORE random, I don't know if that's how it would work but I seem to remember that being a problem. I think a year ago this was being discussed and that was the problem or something like that. But I always wanted that to be a slider option.
  11. First off I agree with the FA thing, it's a cool prize and based off past prize winners will end up in anactive managers hand anyways. @Scooby, Love having active new managers, but you have to understand you aren't the first new user to make these complaints. Or go on forum rampages to make these points. This has all happened before, and from the "elite" stand point (not that I am one necessarily) we have been a part of this for a long time, some guys for years and years, so when you show up as the new guy making complaints and raising hell about fairness, you're gonna get shot down a lot. The "elites" have earned there place in this game, love having fresh meat around, but until your more established you won't get too much support. sorry bud On that note to newer managers: This isn't XBox, there are no cheat codes, or 12 hour benders to finish the game. There is no end, you need patience and most importantly, you earn your place on this site, no one is going to hand it to you. Learn the game before you try and change it.
  12. that;'s what i was wondering about. never noticed. thanks all
  13. So it might take another 4 years for this to happen.!!! Holy sh!t it's like the gods have struck Steel Penn with Midas' touch. Of course we know how that story ends...
  14. I agree, there needs to be more supplements. Your suggestions here definitely hit the major needs at the moment. Too much in between time, etc I was thinking about fighters diets and wanna spitball an idea. We could have specific "meals/diets" sold at nutrition. companies. I think this is an underestimated component of fighting. Example: You could have a protein rich diet, this would effect strength, flexibility, but could also lead to improved durability. If your fighter is eating a lot of good fats and protein it will makes his joints and bones stronger. On the other hand a vegetarian specific diet lends to speed, stamina, and potentially improve cuts. Vego's have nice skin . I wouldn't want to see the major hiddens effected (Heart, Chin, KO, Confidence) But these "secondary" hidden bonuses could be an interesting addition to the nutrient game. Just a thought
  15. Don't know if this has been mentioned or maybe you already can?? It would be nice to be able to quickly access other managers game profile from their forum profile. Without having to do the manager id search. I like to be able to see who I am talking to on here, since a lot of us have different personas between in-game and the forum

    best 3 hidden?

Don't get me wrong, intelligence is good. What I was saying is that if I choose the Fast Learner Hidden. And then reveal intelligence in the ToTT, my opinion is that the fighter is so geared towards brain power stuff that he is lacking when it comes to chin, heart, confidence, ko power, etc. Intelligence is awesome when combined with other things, but my "brainiac" fighters have all been unable to finish fights, or withstand punishment. But this is all just personal experience, I feel like I am still a newer manager.
  17. I am still very much interested in this. I understand it can be tough to get managers, I'm always ready. Starkaor Nordskov
  18. I guess what I am saying is the takedowns don't seem that effective, my good takedown defense guys still manage 10% or so against wrestlers of equal skill. That's well within reason I feel, especially with countering, maybe the problem people are having is being too aggressive with takedown fighters??
  19. Even then, that's still what Sonnen does, maybe not 100% but that's his strategy.

    best 3 hidden?

Fast Learner is tricky though, when you take up that hidden with fast learner, you are putting all your eggs in that basket. If he isn't a fast learner (which is still possible) then he's going to be a dud. Also a fast learner may compete well verse ID restricted orgs, but in the long haul you may be better off to have a hidden that will help you with fighting more. I've hated the 3 or 4 fast learners I made. Kept getting the Intelligent ToTT, Which is basically a computer geek who wants to get smacked around some. (If I wanted to fight then I wouldn't need this game.)

    best 3 hidden?

Yep, I usually take Heart over Gran. Chin. I have had multiple ToTT's reveal granite chin, and then get knocked out in the 1st round. My toughest fighter has Heart, and No Injuries. His ToTT said cuts easy, but I have been yet to see it, so that's cool.
  22. Hiddens make the managers on here, you take that away and I'm done also. Let my VIP dry up and walk away in to the sunset. Sorry Samedi, maybe you should go play more Facebook games. I hear you can buy your way through all of them.
  23. You can already use RL money to get ahead in the business world of this game. I don't think making RL money to make fighters better should EVER come in to play. That's why I like this game
  24. Sonnen vs Silva. If you have a great wrestler with a good chin, that's all he has to do, just keep bull rushing until the fight is on the ground. It's a legitimate tactic that (unless completely outmatched) is used regularly and works. Just because nobody likes to be under a wrestler...
