  2. We caught up with Ray right after his training session today at NHB MMA gym in Amsterdam. He discussed his upcoming bout/debut against David Price at DYNASTY's event on the 24th. " Well, I've spent the last year of my life training pure kickboxing. I've been hitting pads and sparring for as long as I can remember, as I grew up in Amsterdam, but this is the first time I took it completely serious. My opponent David Price is also making his Kickboxing debut, so it should be interesting. The only thing I know about him is that he likes to box, and considering he's a true Englishman...he's probably good at it. To skip all the overview of the fight, I wanna get my purpose out there. Kickboxing is a somewhat dead sport, and no one has really set the bar high in terms of greatness. I am here to breath life back into it and become a legend. The 24th will be the start of things after David Price finds his head on the canvas. "
  3. Ray Thoen, Amsterdam, HW kickboxer http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=195240 Dan Miller, HW, London http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=180073 Bari Rodgers, LHW, London (bad start, but look at opposition skill) http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=191658 Isaak Checkhov. Russia, HW, needs grappling only matches http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=195254
  4. http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=195240 Ray Thoen, HW Kickboxer. Needs contract to get him started in KT.
  5. Sounds good, maybe we might see some diversity in the higher levels now.
  6. How will physicals come into play with this? Same as secondaries/Primaries?
  7. Need a private gym in London or close for a couple of my fighters fighting over there. Both have had a rough start and I think getting them out of the public gyms will help them. Anyone?
  8. Ah, you guys seem to be right. That org does look a little shady as well.
  9. Yeah, I posted this in the noob section. Why? Because I still feel as though I am a noob and I got a question. Every time I check the rankings I see Afro Samurai as the #1 P4P man. He is one what seems to be a Fedor like run with a pretty large unbeaten streak in a HW only league with top contenders. Yet I see no one talking about him, trying to dethrone him, ect ect. Why? Also, why doesn't he own the title in that org?
  10. Mike, can you please look at this? Physicals are really what make fighters stand out from one another and make picking certain styles crucial.
  11. Umm, all my fighters balances have increased from 2000-3000 dollars and none of my transactions show it. I am certainly not complaining but why might this be?

    MMA Sparring

    Really good idea

    Clinch Improvements

Like it considering one of my fighters is a dirty boxer.
  14. I would create a league specifically for Ultimate Fighter tourneys. Call it something along the lines of that and then in the future you have one staple org that can be ran for other Ultimate Fighters. I would assume if this becomes somewhat popular then people will rally for US vs UK, Germany vs Russia, ect ect and finding a new org each time will be a pain.
  15. Seen some great improvements here lately and hopefully more to come. What do you guys think we will see in the near future in terms of improvements (not what you WANT to see, since that would belong in improvements section)?
  16. I think physicals should be harder to maintain at older age compared to sec, and primary. Look at what happened to cro crop, was his kickboxing not sharp anymore or did his downfall contribute more to losing speed?
  17. http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=180073 http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=191658 Both need 1 more sponsor. Looking for someone who will actually stay around lol.
  18. Wait till he has a fight, think of it like real life. Some fighters are good at cutting weight and come out fine, others don't. Also depends on what type of fighter he is. If he's a wrestler he prolly needs to be cutting to 185.
  19. This is a project that is in the making, give a month and we will see
  20. Got a project fighter and just wondering if there are any orgs out there that run grappling matches?
  21. Thanks for both responses guys! Here's my plan: 6'2 228 HW 18 Divide the points between boxing (competent) and MT (proficient). Train physicals up for the first 2 weeks and get them nice and high. Focusing on speed as the major physical. After that create a balanced training regiment of physicals and kickboxing. Then, we will see from there. I checked fast learner, cuts harder, and ko power for my hiddens as well.
  22. And what all primaries/physicals/secondaries? are needed in just kickboxing? Is clinchwork needed?
  23. Kinda like a Cro Crop, about 6'2 and 225-230 pounds? Do you get a speed advantage from this against heavier and taller guys? My idea is to make him a really fast and strong counter puncher. Quick question as well, does strength affect knockout power?
