  1. As the title says, I got a wrestler who needs a place where wrestling/BJJ is the main focus of the gym.
  2. Being a new manager, I haven't came close to making it to fighting in the big leagues where most fighters have Elite Boxing, Elite MT, Sensational Wrestling, and then a Brown belt in BJJ. My question is, since most top fighters carry that same primary skillset or similar, do most fighters have much different secondaries or physicals at the top game? Or does everyone have pretty much the same thing and slider choice is the only variety? In all honesty, its fun fighting in the lower to mid tier leagues where most of my opponents have some variety in their game (boxers, kickboxers, MT, dirty boxers, wrestlers, submission wrestlers, ect ect) and really shows the wide spectrum of types of fighters that can be built. However, I forsee that once my fighters start getting really far up there that everything will be the same and it comes down to sliders only. Is this the case?
  3. My fighters opponent has slightly better wrestling then I do and we are equal on BJJ. I am much better in the standup so I wanna try to box him a little and then move in to the clinch and dirty box. How should I set my striking though? This guy is REALLY aggressive in his takedowns so should I set mine all the way to counter to stuff them ?
  4. http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=191658 Bari miller needs sponsors for his first fight
  5. http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=191658 Bari miller lhw needs a first fight in London to see how he transitions from boxing to mma
  6. http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=180073 2-2 HW in need of sponsors. About to sign with a league and needs some logos for upcoming fights .
  7. Dan Miller (Heavyweight) http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=180073 Need a classy league that prefers quality over quantity. Will go to any league in the world but currently reside in Las Vegas so would need transportation or something of that sort.
  8. Looking for an all around conditioning camp (All physicals). I don't care where it is, just let me know.
  9. He fought a better wrestler than me and was highly aggressive. Paid off though, knocked him out. My Boxing game is much sharper, especially in head movement so I think avoiding the quick knockout, clinching, body shots, takedown , GNP , submission. Let's hope it happens
  10. My fighter - 7 boxing 7(soon to be) wrestling 2 MT 3 (4 by the fight bjj (white ) Opponent 12 boxing 7 wrestling 1 MT bjj white belt (i assume mine is better) He has been aggressive in his recent bouts and gotten quick kos even against better wrestlers. My striking defense is at 9 and my speed is decent so I think I should go for high counter with accuracy, single shots, and try to clinch since he is taller and weighs more. Body shoots standing and in clinch should wear him down for a takedown and a submission . Thoughts?
  11. Well, our wrestling is on par with each others and he has a little bit of an edge in bjj .
  12. I know there is some form of a height advantage/disadvantage in this game but I have an upcoming fight and my guy has a 38cm disadvantage but I have the better boxing (by 3 points) and he has a slightly better MT (only 1 point). In real life I would just use dirty boxing since I am sure his reach is good enough to keep me from just plain boxing but idk how much the engine takes in account height difference. Thoughts?
  13. Your right, I really did make out the difference between my boxing and his MT to be less than it really was. Well, hopefully this marks my last loss for awhile. The fact that he didn't train at all is still kinda shitty though. Thanks!
  14. I guess I just need to accept the loss and hope for the best next time. I underestimated the striking of MT and power of the couch xD. Thanks guys.
  15. It seems kinda silly that my standup game is set up around punches (High boxing, high punches, high striking defense) and he comes in and finishes me with a combination? Seems even sillier to know that he practically sat on the couch for 5 weeks as well.
  16. My fighter, Dan Miller, got knocked out at SCVT's last event (today). This guy's manager hasn't been logged in since late April and his guy hasn't trained at ALL for the fight (I checked his energy levels) but yet he knocks my guy out. I would have understood it if it had been from the clinch since his MT is 12 but it was from punches (his boxing is 2?). To sum it all up my fighter gets knocked out by a MT fighter's punches while my fighters standup game is based around punches, not to mention the other guy hasn't trained at all.
  17. Hmm flexibility? Doesn't flexibility and strength work against each other?
  18. Got a fighter here who is using catch wrestling as his ground game (ie, submission from top) and I was wondering if it is recommended to devote a lot of time in BJJ sparring or add the extra time in wrestling with a little bit of BJJ to get by? Wouldn't make too much since to get a blackbelt in BJJ (quick at least) when I am more worried about just getting a takedown and going for top submissions.
  19. . Seriously, thank you. Is there anything I can do to go along with the repaying as well? Really appreciate it.
  20. If anyone cares to help a noob out, I would dearly appreciate it. I can pay interest after my guys next fight.
