I did some digging through the thread to understand how y'all were scoring results and looked over prior fights. This is what I have for who is advancing after the group stage: Group A - 1) Pee Nile, 2) Jepoy Dizon Group B - 1) Rick Dick, 2) Yuri Voronov Group C - 1) Lester Piggott, 2) Zinedine Eldoroado (Advances over other 1-2 fighters due to time of finish) Group D - 1) Tom Harper, 2) Leondardo Song (Replacement for released Marco Otto) Does this all look good to everyone?

I don't feel he's going to be as good as the hype either, but I hope he will. My main concern is his protection in the lineup. I worry he might see less quality pitches to hit with someone like Coghlan behind him in the order. I love Coghlan too, seeing as how he's an Ole Miss alum, but I'd like someone better behind Bryant from a fantasy perspective (not necessarily a real life perspective as I'm a Cards fan).

This may have been discussed previously and I haven't seen it, but I personally think it would be nice to be able to post odds on other sports besides MMA, such as basketball, baseball, football, soccer and even boxing. There could be potential issues with this idea that I'm unaware of, but I do think it could influence more active, fun betting.

Definitely agree with your write up on my squad. Really looking forward to this fantasy season. I'm worried about having Mauer as my first baseman but hopefully that won't hurt me too bad. I missed out on a couple targets as I was wanting Carlos Santana but he got picked a couple spots before I wanted to grab him, and then I wanted Jose Fernandez in the same round you scooped him up.

I'll get you guys up a bracket when I get off work. It will follow the same layout as the FIFA World Cup. Contracts after this round will be sent out to those who still remain. I hope to have an answer concerning Niemayer by this afternoon/tonight.

Fight offers for knockout round sent. Niemayer is without a fight right now. Group D ended with only one active fighter. I'll go by vote. Should Kennedy or Garu be placed back in the tournament? They seem to be the highest two ranked who are out of the tournament. If you guys don't like that, do you have any other suggestions?

That's a good point. Maybe fielding percentage to help counter that? I've never be a commish for a fantasy baseball league so I don't know what all categories would be available. I could only imagine some of the sabermetrics that could potentially go into this.

Personally, I'd like to see some defensive stats incorporated like errors and outfield assists. Doesn't have to be, but I enjoy having both offense and defense.
