  1. I know I may be one of the few who actually reads this periodically, and not just when I put something in it, but it's been a stretch since we had a new issue. I know that the main editor is away currently, but do we have anyone else with the skills, free time and experience in the game to keep it running? It's handy to keep interest up and post about events and such as not everyone visits the forums. Hopefully we can see this up and running going into the new year.
  2. Island Cage Fights is a new openweight org in Hilo started by a total noob in a fit of boredom and hyperactivity! This will be an openweight MMA org, hopefully as many fights as possible will have a finish, due to 5 x 10min rounds! Anyone who has fighters they want in, let me know! Anyone with advice or tips for success, let me know! Anyone who thinks this is a nuts idea and waste of time, let me know!!!!!!!🤪 🤷‍♂️
  3. I have abandoned the performance related plan as there really was no interest in it. Moving forwards we will be working as a traditional org.
  4. Recently I was in a discussion where someone suggested that managers should accept every fight offered by an org. I disagreed and decided that I would poll MMA Tycoon users.
  5. As a new Org owner I'm curious to see what the player base thinks of this. I know many factors can go into why a fight is turned down, but let's say it's against an opponent of similar age and training with plenty of notice. Do you feel you should explain why you are declining so the Org owner can adjust his matchmaking in the future should there be some oversight there, or if you feel you need an easier opponent? I'm left wondering if a manager has some genuine issue or is cherry picking. When I decline I fight I feel obligated to offer at least a brief explanation. What do you do?
  6. This is the Offical Smack Talking Thread for Pulse. We are starting to develop some of the best young talent in the game! With this thread feel free to do the following: - Trash talk other Pulse fighters - Preview events and fights - Ask for help - Hype up any and everything! So....Let the smack talk begin!

  8. I want to keep a steady income coming in. From 09 to 2013 I ran my own fed and wrote for several different feds and made good money doing it. I'm back years later with a new account, my old account with all my money isn't recoverable so I'm starting fresh and willing to help anyone. Message me in game.
  9. Exactly what the title says. I don't know what the difference between a normal org and an ID org is. Is there a difference?
  10. I was looking at the dynamics of cities in our game and noticed Tokyo is hovering around 1500 fighters and seems like a middle of the pack city. Also looks like Sydney, Rio, And Hilo seem to be dead/dying off... What are your experiences? Are these cities a lost cause for companies and orgs now or is it safe to say North america and Europe run this game nowadays?
  11. Since I became an org owner the first time, I have had probably about 100 messages from new(er) players asking me if I could sign their fighter. 95% of the time it were fighters that would have been a terrible match for the org as they were far underskilled or overskilled for the org. To give new players a helping hand, I wanted to create a small guide to make them understand what orgs are good for their fighters. Types of orgs based on ID: - Unrestricted : Everyone, no matter their ID ( the number behind your fighter his name) , can fight in these type of orgs. This means that there will be mostly highly skilled fighters in those orgs, so they are not ideal for a new player with a young fighter. If you have picked up a fighter from the FA list with good skills , then you can obviously sign them to an unrestricted org as well, but maybe check with the org owner first if your fighter is suitable. What you think is high skilled enough, isn't per se enough. Org owners are helpfull and will give you advice about if your fighter is good enough for the org or not. -ID restricted In these type of orgs, there is an ID restriction installed to make sure you can have fair fights against fighters that were created around the same time as your fighter. The highest ID orgs currently if I'm not mistaken have a 210k ID org. That means that anyone with an ID from 210000 to a new creation can join. What you will see is that most of their fighters will be close to the 210k ID limit, and you will not see many fighters with an ID of 250k or higher in them. The reason is that they aren't high enough skilled yet to fight the higher trained fighters already. Luckily, there are a lot of different ID restrictions in different orgs. There are 240k ID orgs, 260k ID orgs, ... So what I advice you to do is look at the ID of your fighter and look for an org that is close in ID restriction at first. If you have a fighter with ID 262151, then a 260K ID org would suit him great. If you have a fighter with ID 283156 , then a 280k org should be your main target to sign a contract at. A lot depends on how soon a manager wants to test his fighter, but in general for new players, I would certainly look only for orgs close to the ID of your fighter. YOu will get better matchups and your fighter will have a better chance of winning. ==> To see a list of the current ID restricted orgs, click here. Types of orgs based on fight sport : - MMA ( Fights can take place on the ground as well, so submissions, gnp , etc is all alowed) - KT ( Only standup fights, so no takedowns , submissions, gnp,... It's pure striking) Most of the orgs are MMA, but there are some KT orgs as well, where you can fight pure striking battles with your opponent. If you want to join a KT org, I would generally advice to not put points in anything that isn't striking related when you create a new fighter for KT. If you want him to transition to MMA later, you can always train his takedown def , def grappling etc up later. KT is perhaps less known in this game, but that doesn't mean it's less fun as there are some very nice orgs in the game for KT! So in conclusion, don't hesitate to contact the org owner before signing your fighter, but first read this guide. I hope that it explains well what type of org you should sign your fighter to , in the hope of having a big chance of doing well. Good luck to all of you new(er) players and I hope it helps. To all veteran managers, if I forgot to mention something and my guide isn't complete, don't hesitate to let me know. -Bjorn-

Does both orgs benefit from them? Also it would be cool if we can have like a card full of matches like how the wwe during draft night.

  14. Hi, I'm running an org for a while and for the first time in my career I didn't tick the "title fight" box sending fight offer. I didn't notice that till the moment when one of the managers asked me why didn't I do that. Unfortunately it was to late and the fight is on but the title is not on the line. I wonder why there is no option to change that when the fight is accepted by both managers. I probably know why it works this way but I believe that there could be an option to change fight status to title fight ofcourse giving both fighters chance to accept the changes or decline it. I think there should be also an option to cancel the fight which is accepted by both managers or change an opponent, ofcourse if both managers agrees.

  16. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1421260404havoc%20logo.png Just wanted to give an update as there is a lot of happenings going on in the org. With all the chaos slowing down we want to update everyone on the org and whats has happened and what is in the pipeline Firstly, we have completed the merger of La Grande Promotions into Havoc. There are a number of new fighters in the divisions and we hope they will provide some fresh competition for everyone. This was a great addition with is also adding Dean La grande to the staff which will add to the great manager we have helping to make this the best place to be On the topic of mergers, we have another one happening as former Island org Executioner Fighting Championships will be merging into us also. They have a number of top fighters we hope to sign, and again, this will only provide more depth to our org to ensure we can provide the best competition possible at 260k. After a while negotiating with JJ Tycooner and losing we finally can get Executioner in on the action and bring all there great fighters to the batch we already have here. We will insure we have a great in depth look into the whole org and make sure no one gets forgotten and they stay where they are. Last, but most certainly not least, we have some extremely exciting news regarding Havoc's future. As you all know, EVOLUTION is one of the biggest orgs in the game, regularly being the #1 ranked org in the world. They have built up a connection with 210k ID org Troid EP, and we are excited to say that we are now also involved in that partnership. We will be provided support by both Evo and Troid EP in the future, and our fighters will be free to move between these orgs when they feel ready, with Troid EP and EVO both there to support our biggest fighters in their careers. This ensures our future as an org, as the majority of ID orgs fail when moving forward due to a lack of support. However, with 2 top orgs to support us, we feel this means we will be the best org available in our ID range, and be able to move forward a lot quicker. If anybody has any questions regarding this update, feel free to PM me and I will respond as soon as I can.

  18. The Caged Fighting Association is a new fighting organization building a foundation on top of the mixed martial arts fighting style within the 269900 - 272000 ID's. Guaranteed fights with other fighters that have started their careers within + or - 18 days of you. Currently contracting fighters for all weight classes. Super heavyweight (over 265lbs) Heavyweight (206-265lbs) Light Heavyweight (186-205lbs) Middleweight (171-185lbs) Welterweight (156-170lbs) Lightweight (146-155lbs) Featherweight (136-145lbs) Bantamweight (126-135lbs) The CFA is currently in search of a venue in New York to host it's first event in early - mid May.
  19. So, if you didn't know. You can rate orgs by clicking the contracts page and then clicking the red cross and the green tick. But you already know that am I right? Damn right I am. Anyway, so I'm the sucker that rates all 10 out of politeness, and then if I have a bad experience with an org owner. I'm the dick that http://i.gyazo.com/f0573c49d37b7861f068b4f2f2ab3ea0.png Gives a 1 rating. But I was thinking to myself, this isn't really representative, there is all these numbers to choose from and I just choose the highest or the lowest, when really that isn't really my experience with the org at all. So do you guys do the same as me? Or do you rate them fairly? What are the signs of a good org getting towards 10? And what are the signs of a bad org? Maybe their could be a rating scale I could refer too like a good org with good matchmaking being an 8 and then one with great write ups is a 10? Just want your guys opinions on this, making it easier to tell orgs apart from the ratings.
  20. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1421260404havoc%20logo.png What is Havoc Fighting League? Havoc is a 260k+ org looking to get the hottest prospects a foot in the door so they can show what they can do. What can Havoc give to me and my fighter? Havoc is looking to give fair and frequent fights for the new up and coming stars. We also are looking to give the fairest contracts for your fighter so we can grow as a unit. What weight classes do Havoc currently do? Currently we have Bantamweight (135lbs) Featherweight (136-145lbs) Lightweight (155lbs) Welterweight (170lbs) Middleweight (185lbs) Light Heavyweight (205lbs) Heavyweight (206-265lbs) . We will be looking to open the super heavyweight at a later date and also have that division be of a different style than the others. Do we have a smack talk? Yes, a smack talk page will be made where you can get frequent previews and press conferences. However, we need the help of the fighters to get on the smack talk to ask for match ups, build up enemys and have a great time calling out everyone. IF I ever have any updates they will be made on there along with a mass mail. How do I get in your org? Well that’s simple, if you have a fighter or fighters who are currently without a contract. Get in contact with Liam Davidson or Laslow Bricken.
  21. Isn't there a way to let the banner of the orgs be more present in the game? Some orgs have really nice banners and they don't even show up on the page of the org. Why is that?
  22. Have a possible joint venture if anyone is interested. it is the ability to be owner of a established org with me as staff. 50/50.You will need to be VIP and have no main company. you will need to hold the org as i am currently owner of a clothing store if people are interested PM me ingame.
  23. I dont know if this happens to others but this happens to me frequently where i dont remember to reorder my fights and choose the main event/co main... After scheduling cards months in advance and handling all other business online every once in a while i forget to rearrange the fights so the main and co main have the most hype... Why cant we edit this and pay a fee for it as we do with advertising/promotion and free tickets? Im pretty sure it is a lot easier to rearrange the order of fights on a card the same day than it is to spend 5K more on advertisement and see a sizeable difference in attendance on the same day... what are your thoughts?
  24. Devotion MMA is a new org looking for fighter of any ID and skill level. We still have openings for our first card. For higher level fighters we have a couple of higher level guys waiting for a good opponent as well. Please give Devotion a chance to succeed and come take part in our newest card and be a part of this orgs first event!
  25. In the mail alliance members, I would like to see an option to mail different types of companies. Mail all Mail Orgs only Mail Clothing only Mail Nutritional only Mail Gyms only I feel this would allow us to communicate better with each other.
