Decided to try my hand at avatars so staring this thread to auction them off. I am not a graphic designer but do have a bit of experience playing around with PhotoShop as a hobby. All proceeds will go towards funding a gym to train my fighters. I have seen most people starting bids at $25k with minimum increase of $25k Here are a few to start and will add more later. Hey guys, I have been interested in avatars for a while and had some free time this past week so I've been experimenting with creating some with GIMP. I'm going to post some of my work in this thread and I'm interested in any feedback, opinions or critiques you guys have to offer. For example if you think one wouldn't be accepted or I'm not following any avatar creation rules, please let me know. I'm a noob (both at this game AND in avatar creation), so I know my work doesn't compare to Carlos, Hetfield, Hare, and the other established avatar makers. But there seems to be very few people making avatars at the moment so hopefully I can fill a niche, and I'm optimistic my work will get better with more practice. Here we go: If anyone wants to buy one, these are all for sale with an open bid process until Monday evening. Please feel free to comment or offer suggestions even if you are not interested in buying. Thanks! Disclaimer: I have no experience with any photo editing software prior to this past week. Still Image Avatar: 80k-150k For a still image avatar, the prices are 80k for a headshot/bust image, 150k for a full body image (theres just more editing to do, but prices can vary depending on complexity) EXAMPLES (All of these have been accepted by mike, but his standards fluctuate, so I might not be able to do as realistic looking characters any more, and may have to use more avatar parts): Animated GIF Avatar: 180k-300k For an animated GIF, prices vary on complexity massively, something like having a background effect (e.g. rain) would be minimal cost, but a frame by frame animation from scratch would be very time consuming and so would cost more.) EXAMPLES: NOT YET ACCEPTED EXAMPLE: (Mike is still mulling over whether this one looks avatary enough, so its pending acceptance or rejection, but its an example of a high end animation) If you have any questions or want to pay me to make your next quality avatar, feel free to comment!
