The Good Org Guide

Been much talk about unscrupulous orgs and owners lately, so here’s some coverage for the good orgs/owners. If you’re new to the game, you should check these guys out as they all treated me, my fighters and my friends very well. By “very well” I mean; offering fair fights; giving time between fights to train; not bullying you into accepting a certain fight with aggressive BS like, “there are no other fights for you”; and letting you out of a contract for whatever reason if need be.

I’m not saying that all orgs not on this list are not to be trusted, as I’m only talking from personal experience and have not joined every org. In no particular order:

Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA) – Las Vegas

Owner: Mentor Guruland

My first org for my first fighter and only good to report here. Again, excellent match-ups and outstanding event write-ups/commentary. When I realised my fighter was not what I was looking for, Mentor allowed me to walk away from the contract with still 2 fights remaining. I offered to repay some signing bonus, as I have with any fighter who didn’t complete their contract for whatever reason, but he wouldn’t hear of it. No fuss, no guilt trips, just good wishes.

Einherjer MMA – Las Vegas

Owner: Tiberius Claudius

I had two fighters here, a HW and LHW, and both were given every chance to succeed. Great match-ups and total freedom to do what I wanted with my fighters, who were both untested rookies when TC signed them. Turned out that the HW was a dud and the LHW a prospect, so TC kindly allowed me to cut the heavy with no fuss and put the LHW into long-term training. Einherjer has some monsters and some great managers, but TC didn’t throw my rookies in with the lions, where I would have been mauled.

Tapout FC – Las Vegas

Owner: Ari Gold

Again, all good here. Good, solid match-ups and a genuinely decent owner. My guy won his first fight with Tapout, then, when lining up his second fight proved problematic due to the managers refusing to fight my guy, Ari paid me his fight purse for the delay /inconvenience. I didn’t ask and he didn’t have to offer, but this sort of thing is just great management on Ari’s part. Great org with some great fighters, so only sign here if your boys can hang.

It’s Gon Rain (IGR) – Las Vegas

Owner: Danny Michs

Great org, great owner, great match-ups, great roster. Another top notch org with a genuinely decent and comitted manager. When my contract was fulfilled, there was no pressure to re-sign, just genuine interest to see my fighter develop and an open invitation to return as and when. Really makes you feel good when org owners say, “come back anytime”, and so far, everyone here has.

Ultimate Vale Tudo (UVT) – Rio de Janiero

Owner: Fat Boy

I’ve only had one guy in Rio, but I lucked out when UVT signed him. Everything went smoothly at UVT. Good fights, time off to train and an owner who wants to see you do well. Again, not an org to join if you’re new and inexperienced, as they have a great roster. But, with some training, your fighters will get a decent, fair match-up.

Ground 'N Pound Championship - Rio de Janiero

Owner: Ninja Styles

Only just signed with this org yesterday, but early signs are that it is headed to the top. Friendly and cool manager, he only just bought the org recently and seems like he knows what to do to develop the org and look after it's fighters.

And, saving the most controversial for last…

HeavyWeight Prizefighting (HWP) – Las Vegas

Owner: Andrei Arlovksi

Ok, yes, AA has come in for some stick due to the way she manages her own fighters, but, if we’re talking purely about orgs, HWP has some virtues. Namely, huge cash prizes to fight winners! Don’t know what it is currently, but it’s around the $5000/$6000 mark. Sure, there are pitfalls…like do not accept a match against any of her monsters unless you’re happy to be bludgeoned to defeat, but AA has said she is taking her monsters out of the org, so if true, I’d recommend HWP to noobs. When I was a noob, the biggest challenge was financing good training and supplements. To be able to earn $5000+ from a single win is a real boost. So, if you need fast cash, especially for non-VIP’s, HWP is worth a look.

Special mention:

Franky at Synchronicity in Las Vegas – One of the, if not the, biggest org(s) in the game, yet, he still had time to reply to my request to sign my 0-0 fighters with a, “best get some training/experience” heads-up. I laugh now, but PMing the biggest org in the game and asking to have my 2 week old, 0-0 fighters signed up was ridiculous on my part. He must get dozens of similarly idiotic requests, but if we are to judge somebodies character by how well they treat the little people, and at the time I was miniscule, Franky is alright.

Brian at Malicious Intent FC in Las Vegas – Again, similar story to the one about Franky. Brian really has a great org, yet still had time to point me in the right direction about what to do as a noob. Polite and helpful, another great owner.

Crisse at Elite Ultimate Fighting Championship in Las Vegas – I’ve not fought here, but every communication I’ve had with Crisse has been positive and constructive, and people who I’ve sent his way from my gym have told me good things about E.U.F.C.

I took a massive interest in helping my gym members get ahead, so made sure I got as much feedback on members’ experiences as possible. I hear only good about E.U.F.C.

Mikkel at Las Vegas Cagefighting in Las Vegas – As with Crisse at E.U.F.C., a polite and decent manager. Not fought here myself, but my members who I sent to Mikkel all gave glowing reports. A real up and coming org.

Matty and the Blitzkrieg gang in Hilo – Not fought here, but in terms of a great org run by a great manager, backed up by a great team of Dana and Shiv providing great supps and a great gym, Blitzkreig is about as a good a set-up as you’ll find anywhere. Even with no fighters there, they have all been plenty helpful.

Edit: I;ve just looked on Hilo high-street and it turns out there are now 2x Blitzkreig Elite gyms, specialist stand-up and ground fighting gyms, so it looks like they’re going from strength to strength…no doubt because they do things the way they should be done.

Massive thanks to everyone who has helped my friends and I in this great game. Sincere apologies if I’ve forgotten anyone. PM if I have and I’ll add you :-)

Also, add any stories/reports about the positive experiences you’ve had with your orgs. But, please, no negative comments. Too much of that elsewhere.

Disagree with HWP in Vegas making the list at this current time. But seeing as this is actually a thread for positives, I will add one :D

London Fighting Championships (LFC)

Owner: Bradley Burns

Has been home to one of my fighters since I started this game. Always very fair with matchmaking and contracts. Would recommend this org to new players in London.

Have you fought for HWP?

Never fought for them, but only because i've been reading on this forum for several months to stay well clear! I believe once the monsters are out of the org, it could qualify for a spot on the list based on the good sized bonuses, but at present I feel there is probably some more deserving orgs that would go into this list and not need a disclaimer :P

Choke in Tokyo is a good organization for fighters below 170lbs. Good matchup, good money and good owner who respond to your queries. The only downside is he has to go outside his place to get internet conection, so he might not be always there.

Well, as I stated, it's not like it's the definitive list of orgs, both good and bad. It's just a list of the orgs I've had good experiences with.

Yeah, you're right, there are probably dozens of other fantastic orgs, but with no personal experience of fighting in them, or with no feedback from guys i know who've fought there, it's not for me to comment on them. That's why I just thanked you, for adding your own experience.

If you or anyone feels there are decent orgs to add, please go ahead, I could only relate my experiences.

As for HWP, as I said, it's not a perfect org. I pointed out the orgs main pitfall, questionable tactics involving the org owners fighters, but also mentioned that she has announced that practice will be coming to an end.

For a cash strapped rookie, it's worth a look. I have three fighters there and all three have been offered fair match-ups.

The flak and abuse AA gets is for the way she mis-matched her monsters with lesser fighters. She has, what, 10 fighters there, or did, and with the org having about 200 members, that means that far, far, far more fighters are getting on ok and earning good money, which is why I listed it.

Sure, it's not perfect, and sure it has pitfalls, but for finance purposes, it could be a god-send.

Crisse is a great guy, he'll treat u right!

Knights Squad MMA is a good org in Rio - only problem is the owner has a lot of his own fighters in there. Still, matchups are fair and the contracts given to newbs are good. Mejdoona in St Pete looks really good too, havent got anyone in there tho...yet.

Wow, now that's commitment!

Thanks for the add.

Great stuff, thanks. Still not heard a bad word about Crisse yet.

It's a credit to any org owner who resists the temptation to mis-match their fighters with unsuspecting rookies, good to hear.

ICON and Russian Combat in St Pete and Blitz in Hilo has always been good to me with fair fights and fair contracts.

A-ha, the man himself! Was just talking about you, old chap ;)

Yeah, I've heard some good things about Russian Combat from my connections in St. Petes.

You're welcome :-)

My dad was so chuffed about what you wrote about his fighter, he copied and pasted it into a word doc, printed it and stuck it on the bathroom door!

Needless to say I turned it into a paper aeroplane...but not before having read it, and I seeing why he was so pleased! 'Twas a great write up!

He said you spent hours doing them, so major credit to you for all that effort. It's these sort of personal touches which make orgs great.

Actually, that reminds me of an org out there that even has YouTube video previews, or post event videos, or something like that.

Amazing stuff! Wish I could remember their name...

I have to say thanks for putting my name and org on the list. I am always glad to help out if you catch me online or shoot me a message.

I honestly havent had a bad experience with another org but DFC, Tapout and IGR in vegas are great orgs. CFC and Blitz do a great job also.

Org name: Fury Fight Brazil

Base: Rio de Janeiro

Owner: Lioneld Methworth

In my opinion, FFB is the best org in Rio. Lioneld is very fair with contracts and he's given my project fighters cash to fund their training even when that fighter isn't signed with his org. He rewards loyal, active managers very generously. Also, there is no shortage of competition in any weight class.

KTFO is the #2 Org in Montreal (guess who #1 is...go on guess) and recently broke into the worldwide rankings for a bit. Owner Bizzy B puts up competitive matches consistently, pays well and is an easy guy to work with. KTFO has all the weight classes from Bantam to Super Heavyweight, the strongest being his MW and LHW divisions. He puts on Friday Night Fights, Sunday Night Fights and his main cards called Klash. White Gorilla sponsors all the Klash cards from here on out and awards supp/money for FOTN, KOTN and SOTN.

CFC. I don't really have to say much here, but they are the #1 Org in Montreal and consistently in the top 5 worldwide. Matt is an awesome guy, very open and willing to talk to anyone. He has been very helpful to me since I first started playing Tycoon. Fighters under his employ are all top notch and there are no easy fights here, but he also puts on his "Agoge" series which is directed at newer participants who want to try and make a name for themselves.

ICON New Era Assassins. I fell into this Org when I picked up a free agent months ago. I was quite happy to learn that the previous owner, Mac McNulty was a pleasure to work with and new owner Paul Bruens is the same. The Org pays well and also carries top notch talent within its ranks. Always a good fight to be had here, they are part of the global ICON tournament currently running. ICON NEA is a top ranked Org both in LA and worldwide.

Good post, love how you even used the same format! lol

Lioneld sounds like a great manager. Funding project fighters who aren't even signed to their orgs really is going above and beyond the call of duty, 'nuff respect.

There is one thing I must pull you up on, though...you didn't end your post with a Chuck Norris joke...

At the end of every post in the forums, make sure you add a Chuck Norris joke.

Chuck Norris is so fast, he can run around the world and punch himself in the back of the head.

So, I'll go to bat for you with...

Chuck Norris doesn't sleep...he waits.

Haha, it was a good format... I like to steal other peoples stuff if it's good. Thanks for bailing me out with the joke, I really dropped the ball.

Chuck Norris uses tobasco sauce for eyedrops.

lmao did he seriously?

Lol, he didn't mean it in the way that his guy is better than my guys, he was just chuffed to bits about his beloved Harry being reported on so favourably.

We laugh about it ad infinitum, but most of my dads early fighters were total bums.

He didn't read the wiki properly, if at all, so created such wrecks as 225cm wrestlers with no speed and 182cm strikers with no agility.

Yet, somehow, with a total mis-match of skills/attributes, Harry got blessed with off the charts KO power and he drops everyone he touches, even at only 60% damage. I tell him that's what SHW's should be doing, but it doesn't dampen his enthusiasm lol

To his credit, the old man acknowledges the fact that he got lucky, plain and simple, and doesn't proclaim himself to be an MMA guru.

Lmao thats good...harry is a good fighter he has suprised me at times with the way he has power and ko's ppl but i wish him the best of luck in his future fights.

Thanks, I'll pass that on. After he's had a go at making his fame and fortune in Vegas, I think he'll be back to London. I'm ok with 2am fights, but the old guard is not so keen lol

It just goes to show, you can get the fighter build totally wrong, yet, if he's blessed with great hiddens, he still has a chance to succeed.

Just another example of the brilliance that is MMA Tycoon.
