Mentor
I have done a statistical update to see which managers perfomed the best over the past 9 months. This ranks only managers who have won a GAMMA title, it is impossible to rank everyone. I did not include any of the super fights, as i update that live when they occur. Here are our top best managers: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PUBoZ76tUVYpy_catEueWyYOFJmuzuShj9IpdqmsMX0/edit#gid=109474977 Aleksey Nikulin (48376) was by far the dominant force with a total of 160 total points. Together with his previous performance in GAMMA, he is one of the top contenders to get inducted into the GAMMA hall of fame. Aleksey dominated in almost all statistical categories, besides total title fights, that honor was reserved to #2 ranked GAMMA manager of all time, Laz Staz (82447). Marky Mark (22640), Joe River (13987), Runt (108617), Alexander Biro (81823) all had very solid periods of dominance during this period, they rounded up the top 6. I also updated the top manager list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PUBoZ76tUVYpy_catEueWyYOFJmuzuShj9IpdqmsMX0/edit#gid=396796386 Bear Stevenson (81194), Aleksey Nikulin (48376), Pablo Spezziale (16996), Lance Templeton (889) are all candidates for HOF induction and should see induction during 2024. Laz Staz (82447) is getting closer and closer to surpassing Whymer Van Mastodon (40116) as the greatest manager in history. Carlos Castenada (84794) also became the 3rd manager in history to surpass 200 wins, although he is now retired from the game.
Mentor
Closet Case Conservative (275388) competed in GAMMA from 2018-04-07 until 2020-02-15 under 2 different managers Grumpy Bastard (102643) and Malikoy Muza (122694), his longer and more successful run being under Grumpy. Before competing in GAMMA, had runs in Syn, MMMA and BRFC winning regional belts for BRFC. He then had an unbeaten run in the GAMMA Contenders, winning the 265+ lbs belt and held onto the belt for 4 fights before being promoted to the main GAMMA roster. Closet had 31 fights with a record of 23-8-0. 23 of those wins came via finishes and he also had 12 Fight of the Night bouts. He is a 3 time 265lbs+ world GAMMA champion, with a total of 7 title fights in the organization. This makes him one of the few people who held both the GAMMA and GAMMA Contenders title. With 200 total points, this ranks him as #52 all time on the greatest fighter list. He is also a former MMA Tycoon #5 ranked fighter, something he achieved in 2019. After losing the title, he later moved on from the organization and competed in various orgs and 4 different managers, however he never reached the peak he had in GAMMA. His biggest GAMMA wins were over Diarmuid Curry, Jason Steele, Hiro Manowaru, Dustin Kruger, Hennan Hoyce, Bubba Gumption among others. This is Grumpy Bastard (102643) #5 induction into the GAMMA HOF, only 2 other managers have achieved the same feat in our history.
Mentor
The Global Association of MMA is proud to induct legendary MMA Tycoon and GAMMA manager into it's Hall of Fame! Bear Stevenson (81194) is a veteran Tycoon manager who started playing the game back in 2012-12-15 and has been active for the most part up till February 2024. His highest all time record ranking is #4 in the manager standings and has an in game record to date of 1568-990-30. This places him #3 among all managers in KO wins and #6 in the all time wins list. In GAMMA his record is 40-29-4, with a total of 73 fights. 13 of those fights were title fights and he also has 1 induction into our GAMMA fighter hall of fame. Among all managers to compete in GAMMA, he is ranked #37 all time with a total of 349 ranking points when writing this article. Without a doubt a MMA Tycoon and GAMMA legend.
Mentor
Karim Johnson HOF Induction! Karim Johnson (347353) competed in GAMMA from 2021-09-18 until 2024-04-06 under GAMMA Hall of Fame manager Laz Staz. Before competing in GAMMA, he was a Combate 265lbs and 265+lbs world champion. He even competed against GAMMA back in 2021-06-26 in a super fight against the then champion Hiro Manowaru in a fight that he won. He was already 13-2 when he joined GAMMA, so he obviously joined with lots of hype and promise. Karim had 41 fights with a record of 27-14-0. 26 of those wins came via finishes (which is 5th all time) and he also had 27 Fight of the Night bouts (which is 6th all time). He is a 5 time 265lbs+ world GAMMA champion! This could be an all time record, at least for the division but that is very hard to know without going through the whole list. Either way, winning then losing and then regaining the title 5 times, is obviously rediculous, especially at this level. Karim has a total of 24 title fights, which ranks as 5th all time. He also had a crazy amount of super fights, in total 9, which is a modern era record and 4th highest in GAMMA history. His combined Super + Title fights is 33 which ranks 4th all time. He is a GAMMA and MMA Tycoon Hall of fame fighter at the same time, he joined the game HOF back in 2022-03-13 becoming the #1 ranked fighter. Back in 2022 he won the GAMMA fighter of the year and in 2023 he came 2nd. This is only the 8th time in history a fighter was ranked in the top 3 fighters of GAMMA for the year. In 2021 and 2022 he was ranked #1 among all fighters for the 265+ division in the whole game. Only 2 other fighters in GAMMA history have achieved the same feat. He also competed in the latest (and probably last), MMA Tycoon Olympics back in 2022-04-07. He had many memorable wins over former GAMMA champs, top 100 ranked fighters or GAMMA HOF fighters, including Leonardo Da Vincible, Viktor Babinski, Hiro Manowaru, LaTroy Johnson, Bento Barboza, Yago Nascimento, Billy Bob Brown, Hero Shima, Zahbit Lovanov, Beau Canada, Herbert Kreischer, William Riker, but his biggest win has to be over Kilo Maluga in probably the most hyped fight in modern MMA history. He has a total of 556 ranking points which places him 4th in the all time list, just 1 win below Jeremy Tonal (31632) who is in 3rd place. He is also the fighter with the fewest fights among the top 12, meaning he achived more due to the quality of fights, not the quantity. This is Laz Staz #5 induction into the GAMMA HOF, only 1 other manager has more and only 2 others have the same amount. This also pushed Laz to just 69 points away from surpassing Whymer Van Mastodon (40116) for the #1 all time GAMMA manager position, something he should achieve in 2024. 1
Mentor
Aleksey Nikulin (48376) has been inducted into the GAMMA Hall of Fame, congratulations to him! Aleksey is a Tycoon long time veteran player, who has been in this game since 2011-10-01. He currently is not in any alliance and his historical highest ranking in the game is #2. In GAMMA he has had a legendary run, currently ranked #38 among all managers who have competed in GAMMA. Among active managers, still competing in the game, he is ranked #12 in total points accumulated. As of the latest update, his all time GAMMA record stands at 58-41-3, with a winning percentage, just under 57%. His 102 total fights ranks #32 all time. He also has 17 title fights to his name. To see Aleksey's total stats, you can look up his rankings here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PUBoZ76tUVYpy_catEueWyYOFJmuzuShj9IpdqmsMX0/edit#gid=396796386 In the latest update in total accumulated points for the period of May 2023 until March 2024 Aleksey accumulated the most total points in GAMMA, so with the game currently at it's "later" stages, I expect to see Aleksey among the top managers in the near future. 1
Mentor
GAMMA is proud to announce that legendary GAMMA and MMA Tycoon manager, Pablo Spezziale (16996) has now been inducted into the GAMMA Hall of Fame! After the latest update, Pablo is at 99 total fights inside the GAMMA cage, with a total record standing at 51-46-2. His total of 99 is ranked 32 in GAMMA history. He has a total of 20 title fights, which is 25th all time. His all time highest in game ranking is #2, which left him just short of being inducted to both the GAMMA and Tycoon Hall of fame. With this induction, we now have a total of 47 managers in our Hall of Fame and Pablo is ranked 42nd among all managers with a total of 334 points.
Mentor
GAMMA, 15 years old! I started GAMMA 15 years ago, this month! The exact date of the first event, was the 6th of June 2009, which is funny, because that is my daughter's birthday, she was 5 years old then. Since then, hundreads of orgs have opened and closed, the only org that has a continual history going back to 2009 is Syn and they have changed ownership on average about 1 time every year since then. Since our foundation, we have over 4 billion paid in expenses and that does not include all the direct manager transfers. The one thing that will be difficult to take away from GAMMA, is the consistency we have had over that 15 year period. It took us a while to get to PPV level, but since then, we have pretty much been top 3 among orgs and that is going back over 10 years now, since around 2013. The funny thing is that, i still enjoy running the org. I am a bit sick of the fight part of the game, i mostly just fill up any empty spaces on the card, but in terms of running the org, it is still fun enough to keep it going. I always was a grinder, so the historical part of the game and comparing managers and fighters of the past and present is what keeps the thing rolling. In terms of who to recognize and who to give a shout out, it is almost impossible to focus on a few people, because the contributions over the years from so manager managers, has been immense. It will also be unfair to some people if I get started. So instead I will give the link to our historical archive, which lists all the achievements of our fighters and managers over the years: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18u4iZ7ssA5uWSlD8KAUcXBdMsML0TbBU19V0J0VYkf0/edit I would also like to thank all our rivals as well, I mean, it would be really boring if we had no competition over the years. Our all time standing in super fights stands at 195-118-4, with our most memorable rival being of course Syn, who we have a 24-27-2 record against. Either way, once again I would like to thank everyone, lets have another memorable run! 3
Mentor
Dougal HOF Induction Dougal McCraken (320702) is a retired MMA fighter who competed in GAMMA from 2020-03-28 until 2024-06-29 under 2 different managers, Christian Johansson and Carlos Castenada (84794), with his longest and most successful run being under Carlos. His run of over 4 years has to be up there as being one of the longest, although he did have a period from June 2023 until November 2023 of inactivity. His overall record in GAMMA was 33-21, a total of 54 fights, which is ranks #10 all time. He is also #7 in the all time title fights list, with 20 in total. He also has 7 Fight of the nigh awards. He is a 4 time 155lbs champ and a 2 time 170lbs champ, making him one of the very few fighters to be a 2 division champ AND also a multiple champ in both divisions. Some of his most significant wins were over legends such as Grey Ape, Roland Weudke, Hans Hermann Hoppe, Edward Conan, William Spud, Mario Benedetti, Julio Regueiro, Joy Rones, Tyler Wrexham, Afeef Isa Baba and these are just the former champs and top 10 ranking fighters. His total of 300 points, puts him joint 24th in the all time fighter list. This induction is the 5th for Carlos Castenada (84794), which is significant, as it puts him above Gale Hawthorne (22636) as the 3rd greatest GAMMA manager of all time.
Mentor
GAMMA and it's community is proud to honor one of it's greats Aurelius Augustus (357859) into it's hall of fame! Aurelius joined GAMMA at an early age and competed in GAMMA from 2022-01-29 until 2023-08-26. He was managed by legendary and future HOF manager Bael Basileos for the whole of his GAMMA career. His overall record in the organization was 18-5-2. 15 of his 25 fights were FON Awards and 17 of them were either title fights or super fights. He even had a 9 fight winning streak at one time and during this period he managed to achieve #5 world wide ranking and he is a 4x 185lbs champion. His most significant wins were over Milo Andrianakis, Orlando Sanguinetti x3, Wilfred Ainsworth x3, Huwan Bagwis, Shane Raffington and Joe Exotic. His rivalry with Jack Spratt (which ended 3-2-1), has to go down as arguably the second best and closest in GAMMA history. He probably could of achieved even greater heights, but his manager decided to retire back in late 2023. His 224 total points, rank him as the 47th greatest GAMMA fighter of all time.
Mentor
GAMMA has just inducted Bael Basileos (118359) into it's hall of fame! Bael is an all time MMA Tycoon great, who achieved at his peak the #2 ranking in game as a manager. He is also the 44th ranked greatest GAMMA manager with a total of 325 points in total. His all time GAMMA record is 31-21-2 (total of 54 fights). Among those 54 fights, 19 were competed at the highest level in title of super fights (1 was a super fight). His greatest fighter by far was Aurelius Augustus, who also recently was inducted into the GAMMA HOF. All in all, one of the greatest Tycoon managers, who we hope to see return to the game as soon as possible.
Mentor
Legendary fighter, Tam Yu Tai (372393) has been inducted to the GAMMA HOF this morning! Tam Yu Tai is a former top 10 ranking fighter and is one of the all time greats of the modern GAMMA era, with a record inside GAMMA of 22-9-0. Known for his chin and KO power, he has a total of 15 finishes among those 22 fights, which ranks him among the best KO artists in the lower weight divisions. His 19 FON awards is 13th highest of all time in GAMMA. His 16 title fights is also ranked 14th of all time. He also had 2 super fight wins against top competition. In 2023 Tam was also ranked #1 greatest fighter in GAMMA for the year. He had his most impressive run from 2022-12-03 until 2024-01-06, going on a 16-2 stretch with a 8 fight winning streak during that period. His biggest wins were over Gunner Bond, Nova Lankinen, Jesse Custer, Logan Barrengarry, Tomoe Gozen, Roland Weudke, Dougal McCraken, Mike Camble among others. He retired with a total of 318 points, which is 18th highest in GAMMA history. He probably would be higher, if his career was longer, as he retired at just 33y of age. This induction is Laz Staz's 6th GAMMA fighter hall of fame induction, a feat only ever beaten by the great Whymer Van Mastodon.
Mentor
There have been many legendary managers in the history of GAMMA, but as of the weekened, none is more great than Laz Staz as he has now become the greatest manager ever. Laz has been knocking on that door for a while now, but that door was closely protected by the immortal Whymer Van Mastodon (40116), who retired from the game last year. But those who have been around long enough know, that Laz is a grinder. He was on the verge of surpassing Whymer in the latest stats update in May, but fell just short. Now with the induction of Tam Yu Tai (372393) into the GAMMA hall of fame, it gave Laz the necessary points to surpass Whymer for the #1 spot in history. Statistically, Laz is a beast, here are his numbers (This does not include the period from May until now): #1 in total ranking points (2332) #1 in total wins (254) #1 in total fights (403) #1 in total title fights (125) #1 in total profile fights (Super/Title fights) (139) #2 in most HOF fighters Essentially, #1 in almost all major categories. Laz is also in that category of managers who never rejected a fight, the dude is a beast. The only downside he has is that he supports a terrible EPL football team, that never wins trophies, but i am also guilty of the same mistake, (This is supposed to be humor, but anyway). Either way, i once again congratulate Laz for his fantastic achievement, you are the man!
Mentor
I am proud to announce the induction of Pat Verbeek (266187) into the GAMMA HOF! Pat Verbeek is a former #1 in game ranked fighter and hence is also a MMA Tycoon HOF inductee, something he achieved back in May 2019. Pat is one of only 12 fighters in GAMMA history to be unducted to both Hall of Fames. His GAMMA record stands at 13-4-0 with 5 FON awards. Mostly known as a decision fighter, he only had 1 finish in his 13 wins. He held the 155lbs title belt and had a total of 6 title fights. He was also involved in 3 super fights with CEC, ending in a 2-1 record. His 197 total points rank him as the 58st greatest fighter in GAMMA history. His most memorable wins were over fighters such as Galen Dall, Hans Hermann Hoppe, Abdel Mumu, Harry Kane, Edward Kenway, Sala Barbo, Katu Partio, Ray Malenko, Bruno Tepes, all of which are former top 100 ranked fighters. This is the first fighter legendary John Coffey (93474) has inducted into the GAMMA HOF, putting him first in line to get inducted into the Hall of Fame himself, most likely in November. Mentor
John Coffey, also known as Patriot, has now entered the GAMMA Hall of Fame! John is an all time legend in the game, being also an MMA Tycoon inductee. In GAMMA is inducted with just 53 total fights, only 3 other managers got inducted with fewer. He did this by being super efficient, winning a total of 66% of his total fights and ending with a total record in GAMMA of 35-18-0. From those 53 fights, 25 of them were either title or super fights (1 total super fight). His most successful fighter was of course recent GAMMA HOF inductee, Pat Verbeek (266187), who is also a game HOF, being ranked #1 in the game back in 2019. John is ranked #36 all time in the manager list with 358 points, but probably would of ranked much higher, if he started fighting in the org earlier, as he joined MMA Tycoon back in 2013 but his first significant signings for the org were in 2018 and by mid 2021 he was already retired from the game. All in all, one of the greatest managers this game has ever seen and at various periods of time was considered the best manager competing. Mentor
A special week for the org! It is a truely special week for GAMMA as we have a new #1 ranking fighter in Hawk "Funkmeister" Fleximario! He has been hovering around #2 for a while now, so this was the cherry on the cake. At the same time that GAMMA is ranked the #1 org in the game, we also have 4 of the top 5 ranking fighters. Not sure, but i think that is a all time best. Thanks to all our managers and fighters for putting on a great show and ending 2024 on a high note. 2025 we are expecting lots of updates from the admin and we are up for the new challenge!
Mentor
Edward Kenway (253483) HOF Induction Edward was a fighter who competed in GAMMA from 2018-11-17 until 2020-02-22 and was managed by GAMMA legend Power Shark (94407). After competing on the regional circuit and winning the UGD and DUEL titles, he joined GAMMA late in 2017 and his stay was not very long but highly memorable. In total he had 20 fights for the org, going 12-8-0, competing for the 155lbs belt on 6 occasions. His biggest wins in the org were against Farboleous Ricard x2, Pat Verbeek, Sala Barbo and Abdel Mumu in a super fight. It was the win against Abdel that gained him world renown as he became the #1 ranked fighter in the game and joined the game's Hall of Fame! With a total of 191 points, Edward is ranked 63rd in the all time GAMMA rankings. This is also the first induction of Power Shark (94407) in the GAMMA HOF, helping Power increase his own standing among GAMMA legendary managers to now rank 32nd in the all time rankings.
Mentor
Preview for Fighter of the year awards GAMMA has been holding it annual awards going back to to when we started the organization, back in 2009, older that some of the people playing the game today. In that period we have had some all time greats, that are among the best the game has ever seen. Former winners include fighters such as Mikhail Yudovich, Raz Matazz, Jeremy Tonal, Anton Chigurh, Renan St Juste, Jesse Custer, Gunnar Steigelmann, Gerbert Bryant, Bubba Gumption, Thomas Bolleke, Papa Moosh Dambullah, Karim Johnson and last years winner Tam Yu Tai. Winners of the award are given a total of 100 points that go towards their GAMMA legacy points, 75 to 2nd place and 60 points for 3rd place. So getting a top 3 placing matters long term. The awards are based using the following ranking system (since 2015): +3 points for a win, +1 point for a draw, +1 point if the fight was a title fight or super fight (between other orgs), +1 point for fight of the night award. -In the case there is a draw, we take into consideration total fights in GAMMA during the year (fewer the better) -In the case of a draw again we take into consideration finishes. Note: Fight of the night awards are always given to fighters in the top couple of fights on the card, almost always to a title fight or the most hyped fight on the card. Special cases are for KOs or Submission awards, if there is nobody in the main 2-3 fights with a KO or Submission. Only Fighters with 30+ points as of the 20th of December 2024 and only fighters who won the title during the year are ranked: Gunner Bond (385133) 53 Points (Fights on 21/12) Hawk Fleximario (381495) 51 Points (Fights on 21/12) Surianglek Sitsongrit (364851) 50 Points (Fights on 28/12) Kurt Zweihander (380144) 48 Points (Fights on 21/12) Oliver Robson (371838) 46 Points (Fights on 28/12) Janko Godwin (385182) 42 Points Milo Andrianakis (365202) 42 Points Wusan Ritori (379189) 40 Points (Fights on 28/12) Sean O Malley (366772) 40 Points Richard Mesquita (383074) 40 Points Luuk Benjamin (383963) 38 Points (Fights on 28/12) Alphonse Fuguego (378535) 38 Points (Fights on 21/12) Miet Cleever (385181) 36 Points Katsu Yamasaki (387319) 34 Points Charles Mesquita (383076) 33 Points Giant Benandonner (386383) 33 Points (Fights on 28/12) It is extremely close as you can see! In fact, it will be decided in the last 2 weeks of the year. Gunner goes in as major favorite to win the fighter of the year award, with a win he can gain a minimum of 3 points + he can get an extra point if he wins one of the FON awards. However, he is not competing in a title fight, which is what Surianglek and Hawk are doing on the 21st and 28th of the month respectively. It is not impossible for Kurt or even Oliver to sneak into the top 3 with wins at the end of the year, so it will be interesting to see how this ends, good luck to everyone for the final 2 weeks! Mentor
Winner of the Fighter of the year! This has been the closest fighter of the year award ever, with it all going to the wire on the last event of the season! We finally have a winner! Here are the final standings: Hawk Fleximario (381495) 57 Points (14 fights) Gunner Bond (385133) 57 Points (15 fights) Oliver Robson (371838) 51 Points (14 fights) Kurt Zweihander (380144) 51 Points (15 Fights) Surianglek Sitsongrit (364851) 50 Points Wusan Ritori (379189) 43 Points Janko Godwin (385182) 42 Points Milo Andrianakis (365202) 42 Points Luuk Benjamin (383963) 41 Points Sean O Malley (366772) 40 Points Richard Mesquita (383074) 40 Points Essentially we have a draw for 1st and 3rd place! However Hawk edged Gunner as he achieved his result with 1 fight less! Oliver also edged out Kurt for the same reason, he had 14 fights, Kurt had 15 fights during the year! As a reminder, this is how the points are accumulated: +3 points for a win, +1 point for a draw, +1 point if the fight was a title fight or super fight (between other orgs), +1 point for fight of the night award. -In the case there is a draw, we take into consideration total fights in GAMMA during the year (fewer the better) -In the case of a draw again we take into consideration finishes. Note: Only fights in GAMMA (including super fights) are taken into consideration.
Mentor
Congratulations to Frank Abbott (49418), he became the 50th inductee to the manager wing of the GAMMA hall of fame! Frank is one of those old school Fin's, part of one of the greatest alliances in MMA Tycoon history, the FinnFighters. He joined the game, way back in early 2011 and has a 868-773-21 in game record. His highest all time rank being #12. He first competed in GAMMA, way back in 2014-09-28 and his first fighter was Atlas Kivi. At the latest stats update (which was a while ago, last spring), he already had a solid record of 59-59-4, which is 122 total fights, ranking him 26th all time in this category. Frank has also competed for the title on 2 occasions and also been involved in a super fights as well. His total of 315 points rank him as the 48th all time greatest manager, but that will go up in the next update. Overall, one of the most reliable and consistent managers in the game. Never rejects fights and gets the job done, more often than not.
