Welcome fight fans to the seventh Ignition card brought to you by the not name in mixed martial arts, Nonstop Entertainment Incorporated. In a night that all fans expect to see fireworks we bring you a card loaded top to bottom with future title contenders.

Starting off the night is a battle of two debuting 205lbs fighters in NEI. Harry Mitchell comes into NEI with his focus in the disciplines of Muay Thai and Wrestling. Word from his camp would suggest that he is planning to use this combination to bloody his opponent both in the clinch and on the ground. His opponent will be fellow NEI newcomer Ilia Kosarev. Kosarev is skilled equally in all aspects of the fight game and plans to mix up his attack to surprise Mitchell throughout the fight. In what is sure to be a great start to the night of fighting, this match will be a potential spring board for one of these young fighters to jump him up in the ranks of the deepest division in NEI.

The second bout of the night is a 185lbs clash between two fighters that have had mixed results since entering NEI. Coke Poep enters the ring with a 1-1 record in NEI. After debuting with an excellent armbar victory in the first round, Poep took a step up in competition and lost a hard fought decision to Mike Hunt. Poep’s Opponent, Tatanka Stag enters the fight similarly with a 1-1 record in NEI. Stag debuted with a loss to Marzio Bangs via submission, but followed it up with a submission of his own in his second bout. Both of these fights have pedigrees in wrestling and BJJ. This fight will likely be decided by the opponent who is able to secure the takedown and control the fight. Without question, this fight will be a high level grappling contest.

In a fight that could determine the next contender in the 155lbs division, debuting Shamus McFey takes on Adelphos Typhon. McFey is a BJJ black blelt with a very fast takedowns and he plans to use these aspects of his skill range to take the fight to the floor in a very technical fashion. Despite this being his debut with NEI, McFey comes in with the potential to become an immediate contender. Typhon enters this bout with a 1-1 record in NEI and looks to build off of an impressive victory at Ignition 5 to start a win streak. Typhon plans to use his wrestling in reverse to keep this fight in the stand up. With both of these fighters being incredibly talented, this match up has the potential to help shape the 155 lbs division and define new top contenders for the newly won belt.

The fourth fight of the night is a 205 lbs battle between John Spiderman and Trevor Busta. Spiderman comes in to the fight with a 2-1 record with NEI. Spiderman is a boxer by trade but has a BJJ skillset to take advantage of a fight on the ground as well. With both of his wins in NEI coming by Knockout early in the first round, Spiderman looks to end this fight viciously and in a hurry. Busta is highly talented in both Muay Thai and Boxing and has high level wrestling that he plans on using in reverse to stuff takedown attempts. Enter the fight with a 1-2 record in NEI, Busta hopes to win this fight in convincing fashion and regain some momentum towards the top of the 205 lbs class. Two fighters the love to bang it out in the center of the cage and one of them must fall. These are the ingredients for a battle that could result in the fight of the night.

The fifth fight of the night is a 205 lbs match up between two talented prospects, Cyril Kalenth and Paddy Odoors. Sporting a 1-1 record in NEI, Kalenth looks to rebound for his recent loss to George Harrington at Ignition 6 and begin a new win streak. Kalenth’s strengths lie in his Wrestling and his boxing abilities and he hopes to use this combination in a dominating fashion in the ring. Odoors comes into this bout following a successful debut with NEI when he won via TKO by Knee. His well rounded abilities give him options to succeed in many areas of this fight but he may have to rely on his strength in the clinch to defeat the very talented Kalenth. Both Kalenth and Odoors have shown flashes of greatness in the ring and with the right gameplan, either man could be victorious.

The sixth fight of the night is an evenly matched tilt in the 155lbs division between Willy Wallace and Hong Kong Phooey. With a 2-0 record in NEI Wallace is an emerging contender for the belt and is planning to use this fight to get closer to a shot at Oliver Kahn and the title. Since entering NEI Wallace has won both of his match ups by decision and looks to stop that trend here with a stoppage victory. Phooey possess some of the top Muay Thai in all of NEI and hope to keep his perfect 1-0 NEI record intact with a decisive victory. Both men are incredibly talented in all areas of the fight game and could inch their way closer to a title shot with a win. Whether it’s a back and forth stand up battle or a top tier grappling clinic, this fight has the makings to be a showcase fight for the victor.

The seventh fight of the evening is a lightweight match up between future title contender Andres Bonifacio and Karol Salamon. Bonifacio earned a shot at the 155lbs title when he defeated Mickey Klein and has recently defeated former title contender Jeremy Cornish. Since entering NEI, Bonifacio is 3-0 and looks to make quick work of Salamon in his warm up bout before his title shot. Bonifacio has shown a rare combination of skill and toughness in the ring. In his most recent bout, he found the will to finally get the takedown of Klein in round two and submit him almost immediately after he had lost the first round. Salamon has quietly turned into a contender with his slick combination of wrestling and BJJ skills. After his successful debut, Salamon was offered a golden chance to take on a future title contender to make a name for himself. It goes without saying that Bonifacio is in a tough situation here. A win is expected as he is in line for a title shot, but he is facing another tough grappler. Can he maintain his composure and ignore the looming title shot or can Salamon catch him looking into the future and announce himself a future challenger?

The eighth fight of the night comes from the 185 lbs division. In a division that looks to be searching for a number one contender, Keith Huntington is hoping to declare himself ready to take on the top dog Sherlock Holmes. Despite this being his debut, Huntington comes into this fight with a lot of hype surrounding his boxing abilities and his willingness to stand and bang. He hopes this fight can be his masterpiece as he picks apart his first NEI opponent, Mike Hunt. Hunt is a veteran of NEI. With a 4-2 record since joining the company, Hunt is one of the faces of the 185 lbs division. Hunt hopes to use his all around game to stop the high level boxing of Huntington. In a division that seems to be run by Sherlock Holmes, Huntington and Hunt look to show that they can eventually take him off of top of the division. Will a title challenger come out of this fight? We will know on the 28th.

The Co-Main Event of the night is 155lbs champion Oliver Kahn taking on Hitoshi Masaru in a non-title affair. Kahn has let it be known since joining NEI that he would be the champ and he made himself look brilliant with a first round submission to win the belt. He is 4-0 since joining the NEI Ranks with each win coming in the form of a submission. Kahn seems to be welcoming the challenge of the NEI newcomer as he quickly accepted the non title bout despite having a challenger waiting in the wings. Masaru hopes to use his debut with the company to show that he is the true best in the weight class and a win here will likely prove him right. With and excellent Muay Thai and Wrestling base, Masaru hopes to keep this fight standing and end this fight with a vicious head kick knock out. Can Masaru send shockwaves through NEI by upsetting the champion or will Kahn find a way to take down another opponent and secure the early submission that he has become famous for? Both fighters possess the skills necessary to win this clash and it will likely come down to who is more properly managed.

IN THE MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING, we have a 170lbs match up that will likely define the clear cut number one fight in the welterweight division as Bobby Brown takes on David Giljotin. Brown is 3-0 since entering NEI with each win coming by submission and he looks to continue that trend here against Giljotin. Since winning his last fight over Goran Spaten, Brown has seemingly taken over the top seat in the Welterweight division and is receiving challenges from every direction. While many wonder if a win here might set up a match up between Brown and former 155lbs title challenger Jeremy Cornish, Brown must keep his eyes on the prize and not overlook the talented Giljotin. Coming out of the famously loud mouthed Shape Shifter camp, Giljotin has been a hype machine since arriving in the NEI doors. Winning his first two fights by submission, Giljotin’s manager has declared that he will one day hold the title and he might get the chance with a big victory here at Ignition 7. After defeating Spaten in the same decisive fashion as Brown, Giljotin became the obvious choice to take on the highly touted welterweight and he may have the ground skills needed to stuff Brown’s BJJ prowess. Which submission specialist will prove to be more dominant here in NEI? Who will announce themselves the man to beat at 170 and likely place themselves in a position to fight for a well deserved title shot?

yeah, heard that before, indeed if it were a k1 championship Red would definitely have the edge in this bout, but in mma striking is not all

Holmes is a well rounded fighter and will dominate in clinch and ground, if it gets to the ground Holmes will finally have the chance to prove he has some ground skills, Red will tap pretty soon after gets taken down

So Red says KO first round, that's the only option he has, if it takes longer than that he will lose

He will understand after this bout why he shouldn't put his fighter against Holmes

Red's response

My only chance is 1st round KO? Really You wanna roll or clinch with up with me? Fine with me same outcome. Look man I am a fight finisher. Sherlock thinks this is gonna be a fight. Your goin to sleep, yuh feel me? If I were you I would run away no one would blame you.

Whats Next for Ragnatus Carnophage

Ragnatus: Well I heard for a minute that maybe I was gonna fight Bruno Ferro. I was very excited, that is a huge step up for me. But now it may not be that likely. I here he has some fights lined up. Maybe when he is done. In the mean time........ I think Gary Foulger, Willie McGee, Gay10 Men-core (Gaeten Henecor) or the highly overrated Taylor Tibbs are all interesting match ups. Seeing as Jerome Styles is a big puss and basically begged me not to fight him these other guys are who I would prefer to fight. But I of course will fight with anyone NEI puts in front of me. I do hope to get a fight offer soon however, I have been training for a while and am ready.

Keith vows to knockout opponent.

Keith took a few minutes rest from tuesdays training to give his view on the upcoming NEI event.

- I've said it before and now Im telling you again, Hunt is no warrior, he will break under pressure. He is a known lay n pray fighter, always getting booed by the crowed. Well there will be nothing like that on Wednesday. He will be forced to stand and trade since he wont be able to take me down. Its just a matter of time before he breaks and ends up motionless on the canavas.

When I smell fear in my opponents it just fuels my rage.

Im an entertaining fighter and I will carry the 185 div on my shoulders, people will finally see some brutality instead of hugfests. For you people coming on wednesday night, stock up on beer and snacks Huntington-Hunt is a fight you dont want to miss.

Inoue, Bastos, Carnophage, I'm good with that if bossman is, but it might be tough to pull off if we ever get this tournament going in the 205 division.

(Anonymous article in this evenings Daily MMAil):

Boogi signs a hatrick of rookies to NEI...

Yesterday our sources confirmed that the upcoming, sometimes incomprehensible, manager Jon Boogi has signed three new fighters to the prestigious NEI Organization

These new talents have been identified as:

Kane Kilburn, fighting under the somewhat unproven alias of 'Killa', a local boy from North of the river and very keen to impress.

Rupert Harmsworthy, straight out of Eton and from a well respected family we are struggling to understand why 'The Toff' as he is becoming to be known would want to enter the cage. Time will tell.

Joseph Mitchall, a fishermans son who left the trawler business after his father died at sea. We can find no record of any fighting talent, unless wrestling Haddock counts, so here we have a wild card.

An ecclectic bunch to be sure, and we look forward to seeing if they can cut the mustard within the NEI ranks. If nothing else I am sure we will see some fireworks from this lot!

When pushed for a comment, Mr Boogi declined...with prejudice.

Bobby Brown, where are you? I understand if you are happy with a draw. Did your manager pay any of the referees?

I clearly won it, it should not have been a draw. But Im looking forward to a rematch, then I will finish you and not leave it in the hands of the judges.

Ragnatus Carnophage

"Jerome Styles is scared of me"

Jerome was real quick to find a new opponent after he was called out by me. Apparently he is so scared he wont even say my full name. He better hope we never meet up in any sort of fight. I mean I understand as a fighter being hesitant to fight someone but to be to sacred to even udder my name. I guess I am one bad man. one bad mofugga that's right run away if your scared then Jerome.

He's scared? scared of what? A fighter who spent 2 months sitting in a gym, before he even dared to accept his first fight? Jerome has been fighting since his creation and has more wins than Ragnatus, and is 2 months younger than Ragnatus. Don't flatter yourself, the only people Jerome would be 'scared' of fighting would be Inoue, and McMahon, due to the huge primary differences.

Jerome will fight Ragnatus, once he has had more time to close the massive stat difference that Ragnatus is at. In the meantime, I suggest you fight an equal challenge with him, instead of cans. Let's see if that chin will hold up against an actual fighter.

The Paddy fight, is nothing but revenge, for the loss of Jeromes fellow fight, Ortez' career, by him. If you think he 'ran off' to fight him, you're sadly mistaken, it was planned for a while.

Inside the meeting room of a modest hotel just off the Edgeware Road a group of press, fight fans, interested parties, a single camera-man and a small group of Japanese tourists taking photos of everything…

Standing behind a battered podium, with a Saltire draped across the front and an antique radio microphone on top, stands Jon Boogi, and to his left in the corner of the room chatting to each other are three young men…

Jon: raising his hands “Ahem…” the background rumble continues unabated “AHEM…” a few people turn in Jon’s direction “WILL YE SASSENACHS STOP YE JAWS CLAPPIN FER A WEE WHILE!” stunned silence

“Thank ye, thank ye. Welcome aw! Ah hae called thes conference tae introduce ye aw tae mah fighters fa hae joined th' NEI organization.” Jon waves his hand over towards the three men, who are now facing the croud “Ah hae scoored th' globe tae locate th' best talent tae brin' tae london, an' tae nei’s ranks. och aye, they main be yoong, however they ur gonnae spice things up in th' city!”

The smallest of the fighters to Jon’s left, a black youth who seems unable to stand still, shouts “YEAH!”

Jon, sighing slightly, beckons this fighter over to the podium, who grins excitedly and bounces over

Jon: “Firstly i’d loch tae introduce…after Ah spent weeks travellin' frae Nepal tae Norwich Ah fin' thes huir laddie nae fife miles frae thes very place…a local youth wi' exceptional talents…master Kaaaane Killlllllburrrrrrrrrrrn!” Jon claps his hands, urging the crowd, who respond with somewhat lacklustre applause “Want tae say anythin' laddie?”

Kane: “YEAH! Awwight people. I’m psyched, yeah?, at signin with Jon, and him gettin’ me contracted to NEI is a dream, yeah?! Cant wait to get into the cage and start kicking those mother-f…mmmmmmmmmmmffffffffppfffffmmmmmp Jon slaps a hand over Kane’s overactive mouth

Jon: smiling to the crowd, and ignoring the hurt look from Kane “As ye can see, Master Killburn is keen tae barnie, an' has potential. he’ll be in th' gym fur a while, locked in if necessary…” flashes a hard look at Kane “Afore he enters th' cage. keep yer een open when he diz, it’ll be bedlam!”

Jon waves Kane back to the other two fighters and beckons the next, a swarthy looking young man with a crop of short red hair…

Jospeh: leaning into the microphone “Hullo. Call me ‘Mitch’…” nods to the crowd “good bye.” Mitch turns and walks back to his fellow fighters

Jon: chuckling “As ye can see, Mitch haur is a man ay few words. Aw Ah will say tae ye is, when Mitch enters th' rin' fur th' first time thaur will be plenty ay gab afterwards abit th' damage he has caused…the man is merciless, an' that’s me sayin' 'at!” winks to the few titters that emerge from the crowd, before beckoning to the final fighter…a fair haired, lithe, handsome man in a well tailored suit and with a wide smile upon his face

“Pray silence please… Ah am honoored tae present tae yoo… wi' direct bluid links tae thee royal families… son ay a Marquis… educated at St Bede’s an' Eton… an' th' most weel spoken general bad-ass ye coods ever hiner tae meet… ‘The Toff’ himself… Master Rrrrrrruperrrrrrrt Harrrrrmsworrrrthyyyyyyy! Rupe laddie, need Ah ask?” several squeals from the back of the room erupt, and the Japanese tourists’ cameras flash rapidly as the man, still smiling, approached the microphone confidently

Rupert: “I say! Thank you everyone, thank you Mr Boogi…Jon, jolly nice welcome indeed! It is an absolute pleasure to be here today, and an honour to join Jon’s esteemed stable of pugilists, grapplers, martial artistes…and, of course Kane…”

Kane: “YEAH! Go Rupe…you tell them c.mmmmmmmmmmmmpfffffmmmmmph!” Mitch, acting quickly…obviously prepared…slams a hand over Kane’s mouth again

Rupert continuing as if nothing had happened “…and I, of course, am looking forward to increasing my martial knowledge, gaining valuable experience and preparing for my first competition. Ladies and gentlemen, good day to you.” Rupert shakes Jon’s hand warmly before returning to the other fighters

Jon: “Weel, thaur ye hae it folks, JBU (Jon Boogi Unincorporated) continues tae bring….” there emerges the loud, slightly muffled, sound of bag-pipes, and Jon reaches into a pocket, removes his phone and checks the display, before answering “Aye?... Ha!... Stoat timin', we ur in th' room… ask th' lassie at reception… aye… come oan in.” Jon looks back to the crowd, beaming now

“Weel now… at th' eleventh hoor… a surprise addition… Ah foond heem only yesterday an' hud heem floon ower thes morn tae join mah stable… an' he is haur noo tae meet ye aw efter signin' his NEI contract jist half an hoor ago… ladies an' gentlemen… frae his schloss in deepest Liechtenstein… Leeeoooooooo Kaisserrrrrrrrrrrrrr!” Jon waves to a tall, deeply tanned, man with a mane of black hair and a full beard at the back of the room “Welcome! come ower son, say a few words!”

The newcomer moves swiftly through the crowd, to stand next to Jon…looking decidedly uncomfortable

Leo: “Zis is most unexpekted. Sank you Mr Boogi, sank you everyone. My name iz Leo Kaiser, from Liechtenstein, and I am glad to be here in London. I am here to fight. You vant fight, you talk to me or Mr Boogi, and zen I crush in ring. Auf wiedersein.” Leo stands aside for John, and moves to the other fighters, to introduce himself

Jon: “That’s it fer noo, we hae anither fifteen minutes afair we hae tae leave…if ye hae onie questions ur comments, thes is yer chance!”

Juho Pennenan Makes no excuses for his submission loss last month to Inoue, He did however want to clear up some things and let everyone know whats next.

JP: I am upset with the loss no doubt but I never wanted that fight, that guy is levels above me and I was forced into fighting the top guy. I was the top tier and he was there so I had to do it but hey gotta do what the bosses say.

Press: You mentioned that you didnt want to fight at light heavyweight anymore but you will fight out your contract, when did this become an issue and why?

JP: I have ten wins at welterweight and five at middle weight and seven now at light heavyweight, When I signed with NEI Jolon wanted me to go up a weight class because I was more experienced then the other at welterweight and middleweight. I did very well at 205 but I am ready to cut down and put some people out.

Press: Who would you want to fight in other weight classes?

JP: At middleweight I want to beat the snot out of Sherlok Holmes and I wouldnt mind beating Huntington either. I would also like to drop to welter weight and take that title. I think at one seventy I would match up well with the undefeated Bobby Brown.

Press: Do you think you will renegotiate with NEI after your contract is up so that you can fight at these weight classes?

JP: I love NEI and I love Jolon but I just resigned with them so after this fight I want to sit down and discuss a brief drop to middleweight before going down to welter and maybe even lightweight.

Press: Why do you want to drop so much weight and compete so often?

JP: I have one loss in NEI and before that I was hurting guys, Inoue earned his win and even though I lossed I know that he was the better man that night. I want to compete often and I want to dominate and I still feel i am in the top three of all the guys signed to this company. I will fight in every weight class to prove that.

press: If Jolon was worried about getting you fights before do you see it happening at the other weight classes now that you have dominated almost all your fights in NEI?

JP: Guys have been ducking me and will continue to duck me. Holmes is the number one guy, I called him out when i got here and he ran off to fight some jobber of a fighter. I want fights but first thing is first fray will get everything I have after that we'll see.

In the headquarters of New York based, V.F.C. Kimmy McRiddle receives a letter, hastily written, perhaps by an illiterate. Slowly, he gazes at the slightly stained, semi-yellowing, lined paper

The letter reads:

Figt offr, for Ali Sedi.

Kimmy: Figt offr? Ali Sedi?

*Kimmy ponders, for a second.

Kimmy: OHH! Fight Offer for Ali Seyedi. Great, i've been waiting a while for this. Let's see who we have.

Kimmy: Rupert Harmsworthy, eh. Who the hell is that? Seyedi. Get in here a second.

*A tall, sweaty man, with arms like irons, and glutes like a stale bun, enters through the doorway.

Kimmy: Ali. Jolon sent you a fight offer.

Ali: Colon?

Kimmy: Jolon.. The guy who owns the Org you fight for.

Ali: OH JOLON! VERY GOOD!

Kimmy: Yes.. well, it's against some toffy nosed bastard. Rubert Hamsworty or something. It's for a major card, and Jolon requests you hype that fight up, at the press conference later.

Ali thinks for a moment

Ali: Tell him fuck off, I busy train.

Kimmy: You can't say that, Ali. It's your job, hype that shit, make this match big!

Ali: I break Rubert face. VERY BREAK RUBERT FACE.

Kimmy: Great! That's the spirit. Keep that thought, we'll save it for the press conference.

Ali: RUBERT GO KICK FACE, RUBERT GO SLEEP HAHA!

*Kimmy sighs

Kimmy: I should have signed Nick Diaz, I wouldn't have to deal with this shit, then.

Sitting in his fathers house in Chelsea, reading the FT and absentmindedly wondering about the impact of the fluctuating markets on his portfolio, Rupert's attention is diverted by a text coming in on his iphone...

Rupert: After glancing at the text, and pondering for a moment, Rupert presses a nearby intercom... "Wilson, could you spare a moment please? Good man..."

Wilson: After a short time an older, distinguished looking man enters the room... "You wanted to see me Master Rupert?"

Rupert: "Ah, Wilson! Yes, you are a font of knowledge regarding my sport aren't you? Have you ever heard of one 'Ali Seyedi'?"

Wilson: Pausing for thought... "Seyedi...Ali Seyedi...sounds middle eastern to me sir. I confess I haven't heard the name before. Maybe he is a rookie...ahem...thats is to say an, as yet un-tested, fighter, sir? Let me see what I can find out, I need to make a call or two."

Rupert: "Capital fellow! Come to me as soon as you find out anything...I have just received an intriguing invitation from that fine Mr Williams at the NEI, regarding a potential contest with this Meneer Sayedi. Most intriguing indeed..."

Wilson: "Then I will begin my investigation immediately sir..."

Wilson departs, and Rupert leans back in his chair...the FT forgotten...staring at his smart phone, a small smile on his face...

Approximately 1 hour later Wilson returns, to find Rupert still sitting in the same chair holding his mobile, with an enigmatic look on his face...

Wilson: "Master Rupert...sir?

Rupert: Starting out of his reverie.. "Ah, Wilson! Do you have anything for me on this Seyedi fellow?"

Wilson: "I do, sir. Ali Seyedi, born in Hamadān in North West Iran. Birth records unavailable, however he is thought to be approximately the same age as you. No formal education or military training records. I have managed to obtain a picture of him..." hands Rupert a printed sheet of paper

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40b24.jpg

Rupert; "Oh bravo Wilson!" looking at the printed photo "Hmm, feral looking fellow isn't he? Good build and muscle definition. Looks strong." transferring his gaze back to Wilson "Any records on fighting style, training, manager et cetera?"

Wilson: "A little sir. Insiders have told me he is talented in Muay Thai. He is managed by the New York based manager Kimmy McRiddle, who has been flying him around a lot to private gyms. Kimmy obviously believes Seyedi has talent to invest so heavily..."

Rupert: "I see, hmm, McRiddle eh? Thank you Wilson, your help with this is appreciated. Now, would you give me some time to think please my man?"

Wilson: "Of course sir, good day." Wilson departs quietly, leaving Rupert staring at the photo in his hand

Rupert: Breaking into a grin and dialling a number on his phone... "Jon! How are you sir? ... Jolly good! ... Now, Mr Williams informed me of a potential match ... No, no we have time, and I have managed to use some contacts to gain access to a rather exclusive establishment to train in ... Yes, speak to him and inform him of my delighted acceptance ... Ah, yes, well you can of course address it however you see fit ... Yes, thank you ... I will await the announcement ... Yes, yes of course I would be available in person, just speak to Wilson. Good man! Capital! Ciao!"

Ragnatus Carnophage on Youtube on Jerome Styles

"If you did not dodge me then why is your fight with Paddy not signed? Do you not have a contract? Is the big boss done feeding you cans? Your opponents have a 2 and 6 overall record. And here you are again trying to sign a fight with another can because he retired your "special someone". Whom by the way never had the heart for it. First you say your not scared to fight me. Then you say well your not scared but you would not fight me because of my striking. That kinda sounds like being scared to me. Then you go so far as to indirectly call yourself a can and say that someone should fight me and test my chin. Meanwhile you want another can to fight. Wow.......You better hope we never, not even in your *&^%$# dreams, meet in a fight.................................................................................................Oh and after I KO Cyril I am asking the Boss to fight you and take your ranking.

Ali Seyedi vs Rupert Harmsworthy announced for Ignition (9). Potential bad blood before the fighters even hit the ring?

Earlier today, it was unofficially announced by the NEI president Jolon Williams that these two rookies would face off against one another a month from now at the organisation's A-show in Ignition. In a quickly up and coming middleweight division, the two newcomers will be looking to solidify in stone their dominance to come within the division. But is that all that's on the line for these two fighters?

'You didn't hear it from me....but Master Harmsworthy, he ain't even breaking a sweat over this Ali fella. Was practically laughing at a photo of him he had, see? Called him feral. Like some untamed caveman.'

'Hamsworty? Name says it all don't it? Seyedi, he doesn't even consider the guy a challenge. Reckons he's gonna break his face. Fact, I heard he was right tickled at the thought of fighting some rich nancy boy who used his money and connections to get into an MMA ring. His words, not mine! I think.'

Sources from both camps, who shall remain anonymous, have divulged information which would seem to indicate that neither man thinks much of the other. Both men coming from completely different areas of the world, it's only understandable that the two personalities would reveal to be complete polar opposites. Yet, they say that opposite's attract, and come Ignition (9), the two will most definitely be attracting all kinds of hell upon one another, if the above words hold any truth to them. Rumour has it that both competitors are expected to make an appearance at an upcoming NEI press conference to officially seal the deal for Ignition (9). Yet, if tensions were to rise, then the two could very well not wait so long for their imminent confrontation...

In other news, Cyril Kalenth of the light heavyweight division had the following to say in reply to Ragnatus Carnophage, his upcoming opponent at Ignition (8). Due to a constant speech impediment, it was difficult to get the gist of what he was saying...but here are the underlying basics.

'Rags? I do believe you are counting your chickens before they hatch, my good fellow. Instead of focusing your deficit attentions upon a man who as of yet has no real business with you, you should be concentrating on the man who will be handing you a most decidedly delightful beating in nary a couple of weeks. Your name is quite appropriate for the occasion, I do say, for you are going to require your own self and several more of your namesakes to clean up the horrendous mess I am going to leave in the ring once I am done with your sorry carcass.'

Harsh words, albeit considerably less intimidating when said over the span of fifteen minutes. Nevertheless, Ignition (8) is quickly looking to be one of NEI's most decorated event to date, and Ignition (9) coming soon after that, certainly doesn't seem to show any signs of disappointment in the following of it. Stay tuned for more information.
