verbalkint Posted March 20, 2012 Report Share Posted March 20, 2012 Thanks, guys... regarding the first, i wish the quality of the original would have been better - but i love the motive (NY skyline trough fence), so i put every effect/filter i could find on it lol. "Glorys not dead" is kind of special... it is not that don't like the fighter avatars. I like them. But putting them on posters, i always had the feeling they don't match with the used images or lower their quality. I tried it 2-3 times, the posters were ok, but i wasn't really happy with it. Ideas ok, rest meeeh. So i really needed to make one i'm satisfied with... so now i never need to use fighter avatars again lol. Here is another one i made yesterday. I have huge problems with my fonts all the time when doing small writings... dunno if it's mabye my PS version (CS5 stolen from the interweb). Tried to fix this with Rob's help once but we found no solution, they just never look sharp. It's not thaaat bad as i am no perfectionist like Rob or Pepsi where everything always looks ultra defined/sharp (and with that i have a way bigger choice of motives i think which i enjoy), still it's a bit frustrating for sure. Even with my favourite font (HoueseGothic something something, the one i used for "Visigoth vs Chinaski" in the last poster) it is always a big struggle cause the font looks different with every selected size. Small sizes don't work at all which is ok, but even the bigger sizes make problems... 30 works for example, 31 is problematic and 33 looks good again. Any ideas? My knowledge of photoshopping is _very_ limited. All I can think of in this case is that sometimes you have to try to "fit" the text a bit. I mean if you move it a pixel or two left or right the text clears sometimes.
