I grabbed a photo editor for the first time in my life 2 weeks ago. Still learning but getting the hang of it finally. Gimp is decent and you can do a ton of stuff with it, but I found it hard to use. Personally, I like to use paint.net. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that Gimp does but its a decent little program in my opinion. When Ive made clothing, Ive used paint.net.
