If you feel you d prefer to keep them the same keep them. Don't think it will mater either way to most people matte. Just do what ever is easier for you to organize. I agree. Matching us up after creation would've been better BUT if you know how to build & you know how to play, it wouldn't really matter. The best man will win at the end of the day. Also doesn't matter who he fights, he is going to hurt someone very badly. About building to your opponent really only helps for the first round. Yea thats true about it only helping the first round, but you only have a chance at winning if you win the first round so lets not pretend its not important. I can't say I didn't have a desire to wait until after my opponent created his fighter to create mine, in the end if didn't matter because he still hasnt created on but still..
