nandorossi
The war on terror should be a great thing viewed by the entire world, sadly we (America) has gone about it the wrong way. It has made the view of America worse world wide, and that kind of stinks.
Rambo
Ron Paul. Â Ron Paul. Even though he'd most likely get assassinated if he were in office. Â Â Supporting a President is no different than picking a favorite TV channel or some other stupid analogy. They're just a public speaker. A figurehead. Somebody to point the finger at when shit goes wrong. Â America's fucked. Point blank. Over-populated. Over-polluted. We're fucked and we do shit ass backwards.

Who gave you guys right to act like World Police and enforce democracy by assaulting countries, killing 100s of thousands (Millions?) of innocent people and shedding millions of gallons on blood? Â Perhaps the people living there doesnt want Stripclubs and bars at the Streetcorners, perhaps they are happy just the way they are. Maybe not, but coming there and killing a lot of people is not a good solution. Â And also, every time you have tried this you have failed (Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan,Yemen?) Â And when North Korea threatens you, you shit your pants.

Skap
Castor we are definitly not worried about Korea and the majority of the U.S. would agree with you. Its not our buisness but unfortunatly our voice isnt really heard on these matters.
Viking
Im not an America Hater or anything, I just think those wars are wrong and started on very bad reasons. Â What was the reason you invaded Vietnam? To stop Communism from spreading, isnt that correct? WTF
Skap
Yes it was to stop communism and we were ask to go before the war started and said no. We kinda blew that one agreed. But I dont think you will find many in the states that really support war. I was in the army for 8 yrs and Im against it. The goverment makes the wars and even though they are suppose to be representative of the people, thats really not the case.

They're so far behind technologically we would wipe them off the face of the earth. When it comes to Military, America can't be fucked with, and we're impossible to invade. North Korea makes threats and our people in power laugh it off or drop dud B52 missiles in the ocean outside of North Korea just to see how they react, which they don't, they just cry and praise some fucking moron in power due to lineage. 1
Guest
I am not a U.S. citizen so I obviously am not eligible to vote. I also could not say what his policies are or what he has/hasn't achieved. Â It seems like your system is the same as the Australian system. They speak a bunch of bullshit to get votes, then do as much as possible to assure the status quo is maintained. Â I wouldn't mind a factual rundown of what he has/hasn't done that he has said he would do and what further promises he has pledged. Â EDIT: ^^^^ Even China are getting tired of North Korea's shit. The country serves as a nice buffer between them and what is effectively the U.S.A. (South Korea and Japan) and allows them to not look like the biggest 'threat' in the region, but that relationship is starting to get tedious from a Chinese perspective. As CK said, NK is a joke. They're a potentially dangerous joke but worrying about NK is like not going outside in case a 747 falls on you.
The1rstSaint
Vote for Vermin Supreme 2016  http://youtu.be/29rA6FxqLhg  By the way USA is no more reason the blame for war then any other country.
Erik
Not an American, and wouldn't be a big supporter of Obama anyway (though he's better than the alternatives in the outdated two party system forced on America by a non-preferential voting system). Â Ron Paul gets foreign policy, marijuana, and habeas corpus right, but that's also close to everything he doesn't get completely and totally wrong. I'm sure this statement will induce a bunch of internet libertarians trying to argue that Austrian economics is worth a damn and that the US constitution is a flawless document, but they probably shouldn't bother.

Guest
Also, I tend to stray away from political debates over the internet. Because I realize that almost everyone in any given argument against me on said subject is not actually educated in politics. Â Â Â Â I used to think that if you want to attempt to fix American Politics... or politicians in general... stop paying them, or pay them a whole lot less. make it a represent for free type thing, then I realized, lobbyist, banks, and big-name companies will have even more pull than they do now. Lose/Lose situation. Humanity's a parasite.
