I remember having to cross my eyes to blur my vision so I couldn't see if there was an L or a W next to my fight before PbP was available. Sometimes I would cover the right side of the screen with something so I couldn't see how long the scroll bar was.

 

I remember when the portal page looked like gay porn.

 

I also remember when private gyms weren't a thing and it was like christmas when you found a 1on1 or 2on1 coach session for a stat you needed and money was hard to come by.

 

This game has come so far in the last few years, I had a lot more I wanted to add but I'm sure there are some other tycooners who would like to chime in and remind us of the before times.

 

We all like to complain, and it's great that the owner actually reads our posts, but sometimes it's nice to look at how much has been done to improve our experience, too.

Edit: Oh, oh... i remember the days were people glitch'ed the fuck out of this game and there were hilarious threads in forum cause of that... nowadays, well... the Mentors of the current com are true saints in compare and their cheating barely relevant. More soft-cheating due to laziness.

I remember (not sure if it is still happening, since I haven't been a non-VIP since) when there was an ad on the right hand side of the page of like a disfigured face.

 

I remember when the Gym Fees Cap was $600, and it was quite expensive in the early days cos there was no money around at that point.

 

Before Spin and Win, when everything had to be earned or bought, and no such thing as Custom Avatars or 170 supps.

I havent been here for a year yet,but i remember when i could make 10-12k daily betting against fighters with 0.67% energy.

Heh. I still to this day always cover my screen not to spoil a fight, because sometimes I go to my manager page by accident.

 

I also remember the second one too, always trying to log in to Tycoon as fast as shit so people could not see the frontpage.

I had a second run at the top later during the time when Scottie/Joker was camping on the #1 spot for 5 years or some, that one was even more frustrating lol. Just one time on top and i'd never have to worry about rankings anymore... well, that didn't work so well. I doubt i will ever be there again, cause my back then projects have all grown up now. That's why you gotta respect guys like the Templelances and Mihails who went to the honey spot several times kinda ONLY figting 25y+ opponents.

I might have a record for longest #2 run... always close to throwing up in mouth when thinking about that hahahaha. Btw, y u have cheat-to-win-sliders again, gimme! I exactly remember how you sucked durin ITFL 02 time.

 

Back to topic, i remember the big chases to grab Gunmetal Grey's and Daigle's (first gen) fighters from the FA market... it's good that so many oldschoolers are still around and that we see so many comebacks.
