UFC RSS
Anthony Johnson may be on course to fight Alexander Gustafsson, but he wants a shot at Ryan Bader first. Johnson, the No. 5-ranked light heavyweight in the world, watched Saturday night as No. 8 Bader dominated No. 10 Ovince Saint Preux in a five-round main event matchup in Bangor, Maine. And "Rumble" wasn't very impressed with what he saw. "It was a boring fight," Johnson said. "Exciting fighters put on exciting fights, and that's what fans want to see." After a ferocious KO victory over Antonio Rogerio Nogueira on July 26, Johnson has just been lying low while he w ... Read the Full Article Here View the full article
Guest
Give him Bader, then let Gus kill him and go after Jones.
Scooby
OSP vs Bader was very boring, the rest of the card is what saved it and although Bader won handily he still got blasted a few good times and OSP was never really on his heels or reeling to survive, Johnson would eat him for breakfast... As for Gus "killing" Johnson? i dont see that happening, maybe its because i havent seen Gus fight in forever but i think thats a large overstatement

Scooby
Height certainly isnt the only thing that matters in mma, since hes stopped doing 60lb weight cuts he has been trouble and the way he stopped Noguiera is just brutal. Aside from beating Manuwa and going 5 rounds with Jones while withstanding all those head kicks, he hasnt shown me enough to say he will "kill" anybody. Southpaw
I'm confused as to why he even wants to fight Bader. They're giving him the #1 contender, Bader is a step backwards.

catako
If he feels confident he should take Bader to not have to wait to much for Gus
Ramirez
Johnson vs Gus sounds fun but i can see why he wants Bader first, easy money....
aylib
AJ is riding this massive hype train right now. Should be interesting how far it goes.
Caleb613
AJ has looked immense but he needs a real test before I buy into it, feed him to Gus,winner gets jones/cormier
ddennis2
Anthony Johnson in my opinion is overrated. Hes a good fighter but I think Ryan Bader is just overall better

Scooby
I didn't actually I just searched rumble but either way I'm not as shamed as the Gus bandwagon should be
Steel
Long way back for Gus, the number of fights these guys have a year, and coming off a KO loss, Jones will not have have to think about him for 2 years if ever.
Steel
Ragnar will be turning in his grave, that is 2 shameful showings on home soil by the Swedes. Nice people too, just better at home improvements and building solid boring realisable automobiles and good phones, than fighting.
