Embrace Thy Epicity

EP 20: Epic Dub Anniversary was a mixed martial arts event held by: Epicity Productions, in conjunction with Walhalla Clothing, and the VENDETTA fighting alliance. This event took place on April 4, 2015 at the Sparta's Palace arena in Las Vegas, Nevda, USA.

[THE PRELIMS]

(Heavyweight Division) Shezzo Wicked versus Isa Bolentini
Round 1 – Shezzo Wicked opened with a sloppy head kick. Bolentini blocked it but he felt the power through his guard. Shezzo Wicked was working the kicks; he would throw several low kicks and then come high with a head kick, and was landing regularly! Bolentini tried to fire back with a head kick of his own, but appeared to be either hurt or fatigued early.

Wicked definitely hurt Bolentini with a head kick at the one minute mark. Bolentini tried to respond by pushing forward with punches but Wicked caught him with a stiff right-left combination, followed by a straight right that put Bolentini down and out! In his post fight victory, Shezzo Wicked gave a shout out to his sponsor, the
Kemists 160Q Supplement company. Shezzo Wicked def. Isa Bolentini via KO (Strikes) at 1:16 of round 1.

(Lightweight Division) Virgil Dreesen versus Aleksandr Kozlov
Round 1 – As usual, Kozlov was looking straight up at his opponent during the pre-fight staredowns. As the fight kicked off, Kozlov was circling like a furious chihuahua, and would rush in with a series of punches, trying to get through the raised fists of his opponent.

Virgil Dreesen tagged Kozlov coming in, but Kozlov managed to clinch him up against the cage. Against the cage, Kozlov was landing some serious elbows strikes that busted open the face of Dreesen. One minute in, Kozlov was struggling to control the larger man against the cage; Dreesen managed to get him reversed, with his back against the cage, so Kozlov broke free and escaped.

Kozlov started to swing for the fences, but Dreesen clinched him, pushing him back against the cage. Kozlov escaped and got back to a striking range; Dreesen tagged him with a few solid shots that had the Russian backing up.Dreesen pushed forward and ran into a punching combination from Kozlov; Dreesen circled away from the smaller man. Kozlov ate a hard right hand, but responded with a series of jabs. Kozlov caught Dreesen with a short (no pun intended) punch, and clinched him back against the cage.

After playing clinch-and-release in the clinch for several minutes, Dreesen caught Kozlov with a sneaky head kick, and finished him with another brutal head kick as the smaller man rushed in to clinch.
Virgil Dreesen def. Aleksandr Kozlov via KO (Head Kick) at 4:33 of round 1.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Mack Bolan versus Deep Inuass
Round 1 – Mack Bolan was getting tagged by some hard shots by Deep in the early seconds of the round. Deep clinched and that is when the real battle began; Bolan was firing back with knees, but was missing more than he was hitting. Deep was eating him alive with the strikes from the clinch, firmly securing this round for himself.

Round 2 – After both guys landed a couple of strikes, Bolan initiated the clinch to start this round off. This proved to be a foolhearted strategy, as Deep Inuass absolutely dominated him for the entirety of this round. Bolan landed some shots here and there but, for the most part, he was stuck on the defensive.

Round 3 – Deep was landing some hard shots to start this round; he rocked Bolan with a series of jabs. Bolan was trying desperately to clinch to bring this fight somewhere where he might at least land a lucky strike and change his fortune... but Deep Inuass was dominating him with absolute devotion. Inuass clinched with Bolan, putting him against the cage.

Four minutes in, Mack Bolan picked up the pace in a big way, looking to finish with knees to the body and face, but Inuass managed to hold on and survive to the final bell, securing him the fight. Deep Inuass gave props to his sponsor,
Grand Champion Apprel, in his speech. Deep Inuass def. Mack Bolan via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

(Middleweight Division) Kobe Bryant versus Stefan Kung
Round 1 – Stefan Kung worked very hard to secure a takedown; in the interim, he was eating hard punches trying to get inside. One minute in, Kung got his takedown, but failed to do anything with it, as he simply controlled from guard. The ref stood them up, and Kung managed to counter his way back into the guard of Bryant. Kung managed to slip his way into half guard and simply controlled until the referee stood them back up.

Bryant landed some nice punches on Kung as he tried and failed to bring the fight back to the ground for some more lay n pray. Kung clinched with seconds left in the round and ate a left hand on the inside.

Round 2 – Kung slipped an overhand right, went for a takedown, but failed to follow through. Bryant pushed forward and fell into a takedown despite his early success. On the ground, Kung simply held on from guard, forcing yet another standup.

Bryant landed some good shots for the minute that he was on his feet, but Kung brought the fight back to the ground, full guard. Kung did his best to hold Bryant back like that friend that always wants you to smoke pot after work, but the referee held an intervention, standing them back up.

The last minute of the round was all Kobe Bryant.

Round 3 – Stefan Kung scored an early takedown, landing in half guard. Kung was laying and praying more than a girl that forgot to take her pill and only realizes it right after having sex. Kung held on, forced a standup. The remainder of the fight was dominated by Kobe Bryant who worked Kung over with strikes while keeping the fight standing. Kung was exhausted by the end and nobody was surprised by the judge's decision.
Kobe Bryant def. Stefan Kung via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

(Middleweight Division) Ilya Mstislav Byhenikov versus Donnie Felterbush
Round 1 – The two warriors traded power strikes in the center of the cage, but as the time dragged on, the aggression of Byhenikov started to wear on the Philadelphia native. Felterbush landed some hard counters but was being buried under the piles of punches coming from Russia with love.

Felterbush opted to clinch rather than keep eating strikes, and Byhenikov happily obliged him by landing strikes against the cage. By the end of the round, Donnie Felterbush was cut badly and exhausted, and Byhenikov just kept pushing forward.

Round 2 – The dynamic of the entire fight had changed late in that first round; now, Donnie was fighting flat footed with his hands down by his waist, and Byhenikov still looked fresh. Felterbush clinched and found himself pressed up against the cage. By the one minute mark, Felterbush had stopped punching and it became Byhenikov taking the initiative, engaging relentlessly. Felterbush managed to break free of the clinch but the Russian smelled blood; Byhenikov was looking to finish.

Donnie Felterbush was breathing heavy, his mouth was hanging open, and he ate a head kick that staggered him, followed by a hard left hand that hurt him. As Donnie Felterbush tried to circle away, he ate a pair of hard jabs followed by an uppercut that put him on the flat of his back. His eyes were open but that dude was out like the power during a hurricane.
Ilya Mstislav Byhenikov def. Donnie Felterbush via KO (Punch) at 2:45 of round 2.

[MAIN CARD]

(Heavyweight Division) King Con versus Matt Weston
Round 1 – Matt Weston started off the main card with a big right hand that caught King Con right on the button. With blood pouring out of his nose, King Con started swinging with punches to the body; he darted in, landed his shots, and bounced away before Weston could fire back.

Weston landed a leg kick and Con pushed forward with a right hand. The punch missed and King Con clinched him up against the cage. Con tried to hold on, with his arms tied around the waist of Weston. Weston managed to pummel under, get an underhook, and reverse Con back into the cage.

King Con was pulling a little wall-n-stall, landing enough shots to keep the referee off of his back, but just trying to recover from some shots he had eaten earlier. Weston picked up the pace at the two minute mark, landing regularly. Con fired back with shots of his own, but his nose was really busted up now, very possibly broken.

Just as Con got comfortable stalling again, Weston created some distance and cracked Con with a big uppercut! King Con with down but managed to get back to his feet! Weston picked up the pace as Con pulled into a defensive shell against the cage. Weston landed with a series of uppercuts, followed by a big right hand! Con went down again and Weston mounted him, finishing with ground and pound! Big finish for Matt Weston!
Matt Weston def. King Con via TKO (Strikes) at 3:16 of round 1.

(Heavyweight Division) Ren Naga-Wing versus Worf Roshenko
Round 1 – Ren Naga-Wing opened the fight with some leg kicks, looking to slow Roshenko early. Roshenko ran forward with a series of rights and lefts, and Naga-Wing narrowly avoided getting caught on the train tracks. Naga-Wing took this as a good enough reason to shoot for a takedown, but Roshenko stuffed that takedown with a shake of his head and a “go back to sto-vo-kor”.

Naga-Wing engaged Roshenko in the clinch, and Roshenko tossed him to the floor, landing in side control. Ren Naga-Wing regained full guard and rolled from an armbar; Roshenko avoided the submission easily and passed easily back into side control. Roshenko cranked on the arm of Naga-Wing, but his positioning wasn't great, and Naga-Wing escaped the hold.

Worf Roshenko landed a hard elbow that opened a cut on the bridge of the nose of Naga-Wing, who regained full guard immediately after. From guard, Ren Naga-Wing threatened with submissions for the remainder of the round, hitting a sweep at the last minute, and controlling from guard.

Round 2 – Ren Naga-Wing went back to his leg kicks, cracking Roshenko. Roshenko tried to retaliate with leg kicks of his own, and ate a jab and more leg strikes for his trouble. Ren Naga-Wing then dove in for a takedown, landing in the full guard of Worf Roshenko. Despite being stuck in guard, Ren Naga-Wing alternated between controlling from above, and working Worf Roshenko over with hard strikes from above. He would control for a second, then posture up with a big elbow, only to control again. This strategy was noticably frustrating Roshenko.

Worf Roshenko rolled for an armbar and received only brutal punches as his reward. Three minutes in, Roshenko was noticably hurt from the ground and pound of Naga-Wing; Naga-Wing got overly aggressive while looking to finish, and Roshenko rolled to the top, landing in the guard of Naga-Wing. Ren Naga-Wing rolled with him, slapping on a tight armbar and forcing the screaming Roshenko to tap out!
Ren Naga-Wing def. Worf Roshenko via Submission (Armbar) at 4:58 of round 2.

(Lightweight Division) Ruslan Mstislav Byhenikov versus Brogan Kearney
Round 1 – Despite the early goings of this round were dominated by Ruslan Byhenikov as he out worked the overmatched Brogan Kearney; straight punches, hooks, body shots, and leg kicks... Byhenikov was bringing it all to the table. Kearney landed some punches, but was unable to make anything slow the frantic pace of the Russian slugger.

Near the three minute mark, Byhenikov pushed Kearney against the cage, and unloaded with some big punches that didn't really land. Kearney managed to land some blows of his own from this position, and suddenly it was Kearney scoring points. Byhenikov had had enough; he got double underhooks and ragdolled Kearney, throwing him to the ground; side control for Byhenikov.

Ruslan Byhenikov dominated the rest of the round with submission attempts, while maintaining his half side control.

Round 2 – As both guys were throwing hard shots, trying to feel each other out, Byhenikov caught Kearney with a left hook as he was coming forward; Kearney almost went down off that punch. Kearney tried to clinch and ran into another right hand! Kearney went down, completely unconscious!
Ruslan Mstislav Byhenikov def. Brogan Kearney via KO (Punch) at 0:27 of round 2.

[CO-MAIN EVENT]

(Middleweight Division) Ho Chi Min versus John Hoop
Round 1 – This opening round was a pure kick boxing match up until the three minute mark, where Chi Min initiated the clinch. Both men fought evenly here, with two judges disagreeing on who won, and the third judge declaring the round a draw, which I agree with.

Round 2 – This round belonged to John Hoop, who seemed to find his range early, and managed to keep Ho Chi Min off balance for five hard minutes.

Round 3 – It's fair to say that both men wre exhausted in this round, but John Hoop appeared to be the fresher of the two fighters. John Hoop was landing relatively regularly, while Ho Chi Min was forced to keep circling away, trying to stay out of danger. Ho Chi Min managed to clinch, but failed to do anything with it. In his post-fight speech, John Hoop thanked
Walhalla Clothing for their generous sponsorship. John Hoop def. Ho Chi Min via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-28).

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20150113202340ep.png(Lightweight Division, Championship bout) Jeffrey Miller© versus Andrew Morgan
[Entrance] Andrew Morgan walked into the arena to the default Epicity Productions walkout music. Having rehydrated, he looked absolutely huge compared to his appearance at the weigh-ins. As the music picked up, Morgan sprinted to the cage, leaving his security detail and cornermen running to catch up. After stepping into the cage, Morgan simply walked to his corner and stood in place, shadowboxing and swinging his arms idly.

The lights faded to black then. As the Iron Maiden classic Killers started strumming through the loudspeakers, the audience went absolutely ballistic. Jeffrey “Satsujinsha” Miller walked slowly to the cage, shaking hands and pounding fists as he went. As he stripped down, he threw his hat into the screaming audience. He walked into the cage with the calculated swagger of a comfortable professional, giving a nod to his stone faced opponent.

As the ring announcer introduced these two warriors, both men stared into the eyes of his opponent. When the referee said “if you want to touch gloves, do it now”, Miller offered an extended fist and Morgan bumped it.

Round 1 – Intense at the weigh-ins yesterday, both men brought the same fire to the cage. Morgan missed with a swinging punch, and Miller tagged him with a couple of hard leg kicks. Upon Miller missing a shot, Morgan dove forward for his legs, missing by a mile. The Champion just smiled as Morgan slowly stood back up.

Morgan stood toe-to-toe with the defending champion, throwing ugly and often uncoordinated punches down the middle. Miller was getting the better of him in their close exchanges, however; Miller landed a body shot. Morgan fired back with a jab and a left hook that both missed, and ate a hard right hand to the body. Morgan went for a takedown, and Miller clubbed him with a three punch combination followed by a kick to the knee to add insult to injury. Or maybe injury to insult. Miller landed a big head kick! Morgan stayed on his feet but he was bleeding badly.

Miller clinched with Morgan and Morgan tried to pull guard. Miller dragged him back up, and pressed him against the cage. Morgan managed to drag Miller to the floor! For some reason that was beyond me, Morgan opted to stand from his opponent's guard.

Miller made him pay with a hard shot to the body of Morgan. The following three minutes were composed of Morgan occasionally landing decent shots, but struggling with the counter-striking of the defending champion.

Round 2 – More of the same as Andrew Morgan tried to push forward, using his footwork to get in on the champion; most of Morgan's strikes were missing, however, and Miller was getting inside of his punches and connecting hard. Near the end of the round, Miller caught Morgan with a head kick! Andrew Morgan absorbed it but he was hurt badly in the process.

Round 3 – Andrew Morgan pushed forward with some shots that missed, and Miller made him pay with a left-right combination that put Morgan on his back! Miller stood over him, considering diving into his guard to finish, but instead waved his fallen foe to his feet. The audience cheered at this action.

Morgan just couldn't keep up with the champ's aggressive pace, and by the two minute mark of this round had nearly stopped punching altogether. Miller clinched, landed a shovel hook to the body, and disengaged. Morgan started to telegraph his takedown desires midway through this round, and Miller was making him pay for every attempt.

Near the end of the round, Morgan went totally off balance with a looping left hook and Miller caught him with a huge left handed punch! Morgan was flung back against the cage! Miller pushed forward with lefts and rights, combinations, uppercuts! Morgan was in all sorts of trouble! When Morgan went down this time, the referee jumped in to protect the wounded challenger. After jogging a lap around the cage, Miller took a knee beside Morgan, and gave him a quick speech about coming back stronger, assuring him that he will be back at the top soon.

In his post-fight victory speech, Jeffrey Miller thanked
Walhalla Clothing for their continued support.

In his post-fight defeat speech, Andrew Morgan said, “Tonight my opponent got the better of me. I had a lot of private issues coming to the last couple of fights. I think I will take some time off the competition to resolve them. But I will be back
!

The two sluggers gave a quick handshake before Morgan left the cage. Miller stayed behind to take photos with his cornermen.

Jeffrey Miller def. Andrew Morgan via TKO (Strikes) at 3:24 of round 3 to retain the Undisputed Epicity Lightweight Championship of the World!

EP 21: Malone Jr vs Watson is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by: Epicity Productions, in conjunction with Walhalla Clothing, and the VENDETTA fighting alliance. This event took place on April 11, 2015 at the Sparta's Palace arena in Las Vegas, Nevda, USA.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20150113202340ep.png(Heavyweight Division, Championship bout) Zoey Malone jr (5-1) versus Sean Watson© (11-2)

(Preview)

Zoey Malone Jr is your quentessential Greco Roman wrestler, with excellent dirty boxing, a diverse assortment of takedowns against the cage, and ground and pound if he manages to get you down. While he has proven that his knock out power is none to be trifled with, he prefers to take the cautious approach, rather than rush forward head first, looking for the finish.

This mentality comes from his early days, where he fought in the QFC. His professional debut was a unanimous decision victory, and his very second professional fight saw him beaten down viciously by a man that he believes he should have beaten with ease. Following that defeat, Malone signed to fight for Epicity Productions; it was the same guy, but something had changed in his fighting style. Instead of rushing forward and risking himself to secure the position, he was willing to bide his time, and simply control opponents. But, he is quick to make his opponents pay for their mistakes, as we have seen in his fights with Serder Serderov, Matt Weston, and of course Sean Watson.

This rematch is coming at the perfect time as both Watson and Malone are at the peak of their athletic careers. Sean Watson has something that Zoey Malone wants: the Epicity Heavyweight Championship. But, Malone has something that Watson wants as well; when Zoey Malone knocked out Sean Watson, it was the first time that Watson had been stopped where he couldn't excuse it as a quick stoppage. That fight has haunted Watson, and given him all of the motivation that he needs to get back in there and do things right this time.

Sean Watson is the undisputed Epicity Heavyweight Champion of the World. Before he was a professional fighter, he was considered an early favorite to win the gold in the 1996 Summer Olympics. However, an injury and multitude of personal problems would prevent Watson from competing. Rather than letting depression overcome him, he entered the work force and decided to move on with his life.

Working physical jobs for lousy pay was not Sean's idea of a reasonable career, however, and he found himself fighting in Brazilian Vale Tudo matches to earn a living. After a string of successful fights in Brazil, Sean Watson moved to Amsterdam, where he began cross training Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to compliment his diverse wrestling game. It was in the Warzone MMA promotion that Watson tasted the bitter, salty flavor of defeat for the first time, with a questionable TKO loss at the hands of John Big Baby. Watson would fight only once more in Amsterdam.

Following the end of his Warzone contract, Sean Watson packed his bags and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, having joined the Bi-Polar Asylum. Shortly after the move, Watson would be signed to fight for Epicity Productions. In his Epicity debut, he was tasked with facing another young up-and-comer that had recently signed to EP: Zoey Malone Jr. After dominating the early goings of the fight, Watson would find himself pinned against the cage for the better part of the opening round, and hurt badly before being knocked out early in the second.

Denying rumors that he was retiring, Sean Watson returned to the Epicity cage to face Buster Quinn. Due to time constraints, the fight was bumped up to a championship fight when Malone requested additional time to train. Watson would dominate Quinn before stopping him late in the second round; with this victory, Sean Watson staked his claim to the Epicity Heavyweight Championship.

In his most recent appearance, Watson successfully defended his title against former Fortitude FC Super-Heavyweight champion Peter James. Watson would dominate, battering James with vicious ground and pound, forcing the stoppage in the opening round.

As I previously mentioned, for Sean Watson, winning this fight is about more than defending his title; this is about reclaiming a piece of himself that was lost on January 1st, thirty-three seconds into the second round of his fight with Malone.

(Heavyweight Division) Peter James (13-9) versus Serder Serderov (6-3)

(Preview)

Peter James was your Average Joe plumber until fate came crashing into his life, landing him in the bitter world of unemployment. Rather than take a demeaning job, Peter James took up the Sweet Science of boxing, fighting as an amateur before going pro. He became known in equal parts for his knock out power as for his pre-fight antics. He would frustrate opponents with nonstop trash talk, mock them to their faces in the ring, and then knock them senseless with power punches when they tried to shut him up.

James has fought for a multitude of MMA promotions as well; most notably, Gladiator FC and Fortitude FC. The latter is where he claimed the Super-Heavyweight world title with a smashing victory over Cc Cc. He successfully defended his title three times, entertaining the fans with his patented “big mouth, big fists” combination.

Following the closure of Fortitude FC, James fell on harder times, having gone 2-3 post-FFC. Despite these losses, Peter James is an enamoring figure in the sport. In his most recent appearance, he was defeated by Epicity Heavyweight Champion Sean Watson.

Serder Serderov is a veteran striker with nine professional MMA fights to his credit. He has fought primarily for the Heavyweight Prizefighting league, where he earned a career record of 6-2. He has fought for three managers throughout his career, with his most recent team bringing him to the LOD Xtreme fight team.

In his most recent appearance, he was stopped by heavyweight top contender Zoey Malone Jr.

[MAIN CARD]

(Lightweight Division) Sasha Solzhenitsyn (5-2) versus Homero Lopez (6-9)

(Preview)

Sasha Solzhenitsyn is a Russian kick boxer that, in five professional victories, has won via first round stoppage four times. He is a QFC regular, having fought all seven of his professional fights inside the QFC. Sasha Solzhenitsyn has never been submitted in his MMA career.

Homero Lopez is an experienced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt that has competed in the TWGC on top of his fifteen MMA bouts. Most of his fights have taken place in Las Vegas, although he has fought several times in Montreal as well. He has competed four times within Epicity Productions, defeating Derek Patterson while dropping bouts against Jeffrey Miller, Brogan Kearney, and Boreste Bardanos- a killer's row of opponents.

(Heavyweight Division) Bogdan Mitrovic (6-2) versus Akamai Hoi (5-3)

(Preview)

Bogdan Mitrovic is a Serbian Muay Thai stylist and professional mixed martial artist. He is the proud owner of some of the most technical and brutal striking within Epicity Productions. He made his first appearance on the MMA scene with four lightning fast QFC victories, before signing to fight for Warzone MMA. After going 1-1 within the company, he was dropped by his management team. Under new management, he completed his Warzone contract with an overall record of 2-2 inside the company.

Akamai Hoi is an elite Hawaiian mixed martial arts fighter. He is extremely well rounded, with extremely high level striking which is complimented by his wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu brown belt. He burst onto the scene with three stoppage victories in the QFC before signing to fight for Insanity MMA. Like his opponent, he struggled in his early contract, and was promptly dropped by his management team. After going 1-1 under new management, he was once again dropped by his team and sent to the free agent market.

Under new management once again, he was signed to fight for Epicity Productions; he defeated Johnny Rico at EP 16.

(Welterweight Division) Wrestlefuck Wrestling (11-2) versus Tre Spar (6-5-1)

(Preview)

Wrestlefuck Wrestling is the former Epicity Welterweight Champion of the world; he is currently the lineal champion, as he temporarily retired with the belt, relinquishing it for the contenders to squabble over.

As his name implies, Wrestlefuck is a powerful collegiate and Greco Roman wrestler with a vast wealth of knowledge in the arts. His nightmarish ability to control opponents is only made more intimidating when you take his iron chin into consideration; he has never been knocked out in thirteen professional fights.

Wrestlefuck won five consecutive QFC matches before competing for AMS Fighting Championship, where he would suffer the first defeat of his career at the hands of Diego Diaz. He would rebound with a fury, however; with back-to-back victories over Mscibor Olszewicz and Metsa Aff, he finished his standing contracts in style.

His next fight was for the vacant Epicity Productions welterweight title, which he claimed in a dominant victory over Adam Rabago. Wrestlefuck defended his title one time, over Derek The Brave, before retiring with the belt. After a one month layoff, Wrestlefuck has returned to Epicity Productions.

In his most recent bout, Wrestlefuck was defeated by perennial top contender Jeremy Smith.

Tre Spar is a Romanian based mixed martial arts fighter who has competed twelve times in MMA, and six times in submission grappling competitions.

Long before he was considering punching people in the face for money, Tre Spar was a Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and small time assistant grappling coach at Bobby B's private training center, based in St Petersburg, Russia. He made his earliest televised appearance at the TWGC 2 middleweight tournament, where he was submitted in the second round.

He then fought three times, going 2-1, with the third fight being for the vacant Cobra Fighting welterweight title, in which he was defeated by Kezz The Convict. Following that defeat, Spar returned to the TWGC, to compete in the season 4 light-heavyweight tournament. This time, he worked his way through the qualifiers, and was defeated in the second round of the finals.

Tre Spar returned to mixed martial arts permanently after that, and went on a three fight losing streak. He then rebounded with a series of QFC matches, bringing his overall QFC record to 6-1.

[undercard Bouts]

(Heavyweight Division) Johnny Rico versus Chuck Moldoon

Round 1 – Chuck Moldoon was pumping out the jab, working to keep Johnny Rico at a distance, but just couldn't maintain it; Johnny Rico feinted his way in and brought Moldoon to the ground with a power double. Within seconds, Rico passed into half guard; from the top position, he was landing hard elbows a la Crocop versus Gonzaga. Chuck Moldoon did a memorable job of defending himself on the ground under the brown belt's assault, but he just couldn't keep up with the Jiu-Jitsu fighter. Johnny Rico def. Chuck Moldoon via Submission (Kimura) at 4:07 of round 1.

(Heavyweight Division) Joe Louis versus Softly Weeping

Round 1 – The early goings of this round were absolutely dominated by the slugger, Joe Louis; he took the center of the cage and was stalking Weeping. Softly Weeping attempted takedown after takedown, and “Lights Out” made him pay for every step he took. Nearly four minutes in, Softly Weeping managed to dive into the guard of Joe Louis, and for the first time it was Weeping scoring points with the hammerfists and short elbows.

Joe Louis surprised him by flipping his legs up and almost catching him in a triangle choke. Softly Weeping slipped free of the submission and both men grinned at the attempt. The comradery was short lived, however, as Weeping resumed his ground and pound attack.

Despite the early success of Joe “Lights Out” Louis, Softly Weeping closed out the round on top, landing ground and pound from half guard.

Round 2 – “Lights Out” started this round circling away from Softly Weeping, smacking him with the jab periodically. Weeping tried several takedowns in this round, and even landed some punches on Louis, but nothing major happened until just about the two minute mark, when Joe Louis pushed forward with a counter right that rocked the grappler.

Softly Weeping dove forward with a desperation takedown and got clobbered by a left hook that dropped him face first to the floor. Joe Louis hovered over him with his right hand cocked but then walked away with his hands raised high when he saw the man was out cold. Good show of sportsmanship. Joe Louis def. Softly Weeping via KO (Punch) at 1:53 of round 2.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Buddy Brandon versus Ryan Reeves

Round 1 – Buddy Brandon was working aggressively to get inside on Reeves. Much like my ex, he made himself too available, pushing forward nearly every second, which meant he was missing more than he was striking- like my ex.

Both guys were swinging for the fences, so Brandon clinched and attempted to slow things down. Reeves pressed him against the cage and held on. A grueling wrestling match against the cage ensued as both guys struggled to control the position. Reeves was trying to throw in some strikes, and Brandon was trying to pull guard.

Something changed near the two minute mount, as Brandon took a brutal knee to the gut, and paused to take a deep breath. Ryan Reeves sensed this and pushed the action, locking his Buddy up in a Thai Plumb, and landing knee after brutal knee to the face of Brandon. Out of desperation and necessesity, Buddy Brandon tried to jump guard; he fell to his back and Ryan Reeves circled away. Buddy did a little butt scooting, but finally stood up at the behest of the referee.

Brandon pushed forward and ate a series of kicks from Reeves. Brandon flopped a takedown attempt, and as he stood back up, Reeves fed him a monster of an overhand right. Brandon went down and Reeves dove into guard, pounding on him with a fury until the referee pulled him off. Ryan Reeves def. Buddy Brandon via TKO (Strikes) at 2:57 of round 1.

(Middleweight Division) Sergio Dei Porti versus Ken Essss

Round 1 – Sergio Dei Porti came out a bit more light on his feet, moving a bit quicker, although he was telegraphing his takedown intentions like crazy, which led to ken Esss avoiding his moves pretty easily. Ken Esss was looking to clinch, but was failing to pull that off. One minute in, nobody landed a single strike yet. And, just after the one minute mark, Dei Porti ate a monster head kick that busted him bloody. Ken Essss followed this with a takedown of his own, landing in guard on top.

Ken Essss worked to escape the guard of Dei Porti with a look on his face that said “I've made a terrible mistake”, but Dei Porti capitalized; he wanted this fight on the ground, and he intended to make the most of the situation. Dei Porti worked for a triangle choke followed by a guillotine choke. After several minutes of threatening with various submissions, Dei Porti caught Ken Essss trying to stand and wrapped his legs around the man's neck for a choke. Sergio Dei Porti def. Ken Essss via Submission (Triangle Choke) at 3:37 of round 1.

(Middleweight Division) Harrison Yates versus Ben Simpson

Round 1 – The second the ref gave the “FIGHT!” command, Harrison Yates bolted across the cage, made as though to throw a flying knee, and instead clinched Ben Simpson up against the very cage that he started out standing against. With his cornermen screaming behind him, Ben Simpson worked short punches in an attempt to loosen the grip of Yates.

Harrison Yates was undisturbed by this; he was throwing knee after knee in attempt to break the former Pomplestine title challenger. As the time ticked by on the clock, Yates started to land with more frequency, as Ben Simpson, bloody and gasping for air, tried to block each shot and find a way out of this predicament.

Simpson finally managed to create distance and push away from the iron grip of Yates, circling back to the center of the cage. Harrison Yates pushed forward unperturbed, swinging heavy leather. Simpson was in big trouble two minutes in, trying to work single strikes in desperation. However, three minutes into the round, Simpson caught Yates getting cocky and nailed him with a double leg into full guard. Simpson wasted no time in posturing up to land ground and pound, but with nothing landing, the referee asked for a clean break, putting our fighters back on their feet.

Ben Simpson, a notoriously late starter, began to throw punches late in the round as Yates slowed his aggression down a bit, and a slugfest ensued for the final thirty seconds of the round, much to the delight of the fans in attendance.

Round 2 – Ben Simpson knew that he needed a big round here to sway the judges back in his favor, so he opened with a jab. Yates threw a leg kick; checked by Simpson. Simpson ate a head kick and fired back with an overhand right that caught Yates on the button. Yates came back with a head kick that dropped Simpson to the canvas! D'oh! Harrison Yates rushed forward to finish his opponent off, but the referee called a stop to the fight. Harrison Yates def. Ben Simpson via TKO (Head Kick) at 0:37 of round 2.

[Main Card]

(Welterweight Division) Wrestlefuck Wrestling versus Tre Spar

Round 1 – Both men looked absolutely intense as they stood toe-to-toe listening to their referee's instructions. When the time came, both men ran forward; Tre Spar followed the jab with an over-the-top right hand, and Wrestlefuck ducked under, sliding Spar back against the nearest cage wall. Wrestlefuck kept him backed up, but not quite clinched up. Wrestlefuck worked the body of Spar, while Spar was swinging with wild right hands; he was really loading up with that power hand. Tre Spar wanted to clinch badly, but Wrestlefuck kept his distance.

Wrestlefuck bobbed out of the path of a straight right, and came over the top with a looping left hook that caught Spar dead-on. Tre Spar threw the jab, and Wrestlefuck weaved the other direction. Spar chased him with a left hook that missed by a mile. The boxing prowess of the former welterweight champion of the world was on full display here early.

Tre Spar landed a nice uppercut as Wrestlefuck dodged the jab; Spar tried to clinch once more, but Wrestle shoved him away. Wrestlefuck landed a left hook followed by a jab; Tre Spar slipped as he went for a sort of modified crescent kick, and Wrestlefuck back pedaled with a smile on his face. As Tre Spar chased after him, Wrestlefuck reversed direction with a jab, clinching Spar up as well.

Both men were landing shots from the clinch as Wrestlefuck attempted an ill advised single leg takedown. Tre Spar pummeled under and got double underhooks. Wrestlefuck landed a series of short punches to the delight of the fans, and Spar pulled guard. Wrestlefuck threw a monster elbow; Tre Spar used his momentum, snatched up his attacking arm, threw up his own legs around the neck of Wrestlefuck and forced the tap midway through the opening round. Win or lose, that was an incredible fight from both men. Tre Spar def. Wrestlefuck Wrestling via Submission (Triangle Armbar) at 2:25 of round 1.

(Heavyweight Division) Bogdan Mitrovic versus Akamai Hoi

Round 1 – Mitrovic was working the kicks early, trying to circle away from the power grappler. Hoi caught him on the bridge of his nose with a left hook, opening a cut there. Bogdan pushed forward and Akamai Hoi started to circle away. As Mitrovic would push forward, Hoi would land power leg kicks, as well as a couple of nice body kicks. Mitrovic flopped another head kick and took a lunging right hand on the button.

Mitrovic tried once more to power through with that left high kick, and Hoi clinched him up against the cage. From there, it was a totally different fight; Hoi walked him back against the cage and worked short punches in bunches, hurting Mitrovic badly. Mitrovic stopped fighting and tried to hang on. Akamai Hoi smelled blood and pushed forward with a series of brutal left and right hooks, putting Mitrovic down on his knees. As Akamai Hoi kept landing shots, the referee dove between them, stopping the fight. Akamai Hoi def. Bogdan Mitrovic via TKO (Strikes) at 1:34 of round 1.

(Lightweight Division) Sasha Solzhenitsyn versus Homero Lopez

Round 1 – Sasha Solz was very aggressive in the early goings of the fight, dancing around the submission fighter, picking him apart. He would throw a series of flicking jabs followed by a series of hard punches that would wobble Lopez a bit each time. Near the two minute mark, however, Lopez got a much needed takedown. Unfortunately, aside from a single submission attempt (which backfired tremendously, I might add- Lopez locked up a triangle, and Solz slammed him a la Rampage Jackson), the ground game went horribly for Homero Lopez. Solz managed to get himself on top, and even passed into side control, stalling for a standup.

The referee stood them up, and Solz bitch smacked Lopez before clinching him up against the cage. Lopez tried to jump guard, and we found ourselves at a distance once again. Solz dominated until the final buzzer sounded, and Homero Lopez staggered his way back to his stool with blood pouring down his face.

Round 2 – Solz landed a decent leg kick, but Lopez timed it and powered through with a takedown into guard. Lopez couldn't do anything with it, however, so the referee stood them back up. The rest of the fight looked like a prolonged mugging; Sasha Solz was hammering Lopez like he walked into his bedroom and found Lopez with his wife. Three minutes in, Solz landed a head kick that shook Lopez like a halfway crook, and followed it with a wild series of shots against the cage that put Homero Lopez in the fetal position, covering up. The referee promptly stopped the fight. Sasha Solzhenitsyn def. Homero Lopez via TKO (Strikes) at 3:15 of

round 2.

[Co-Main Event]

(Heavyweight Division) Peter James versus Serder Serderov

Round 1 – Serderov pumped the jab early and Peter James taunted him with each missed shot. Peter James was riding his bicycle early, making Serderov chase him. James would throw out a couple of token striaght punches but was trying to avoid the onslought of Serder Serderov.

Serderov landed a series of hard straight punches, and clinched with James. Peter James was firing back aggressively, but struggling within the tight confines of Serderov's clinch game. As the minutes dragged on, James was very evidently tiring himself out trying to keep up with the elite striker. It was very apparent that Serderov was in a class of his own in this fight. Nearly four minutes in, a bloody Peter James went down off of a big elbow, and the referee stopped the fight before Serderov could follow him to the floor. Serder Serderov def. Peter James via TKO (Strikes) at 3:55 of round 1.

http://mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20150113202340ep.png(Heavyweight Division, Championship bout) Zoey Malone Jr versus Sean Watson©

[Entrance]

The lights blackened for an instant; the speakers screamed out, “WHO LET THE DOGS OUT?” And the audience let out a roar that was both cheers of approval and maniacal laughter. As the music picked up over the singing voices, Zoey Malone Jr slowly walked to the cage. He had a white towel draped over his shoulders, his Walhalla cap and shirt on display, with both Walhalla and Modern Wear Apparel Decals on his shorts. He took his time walking to the cage; the smile on his face said it all: he was there and he was ready to get that belt. Before he entered the cage, he pounded his chest with his fists, and let out a vicious scream. He circled the cage once before stopping to bounce on the balls of his feet, awaiting his opponent.

The lights faded to black much longer this time. The audience roared in approval as The Offspring's 'You're Gonna Go Far, Kid' blared through the speakers. The lights kicked to life and Sean Watson exited the tunnel and walked to the cage.

Clad in his Grand Royal Wear sweater and and shorts, with the GREEN! Supplement Company's logo on the back of his shorts, he was all intensity; staring towards his opponent even before he arrived at the cage. The cageside officials had to stop him and make him go through the inspection; he was ready to get in the cage, fully dressed, and get it on right there.

Sean Watson walked into the cage and marched straight over to Zoey Malone Jr. After a brief staredown from two feet away, Watson reluctantly turned and walked to his corner, fists clenching and releasing.

Both men maintained their eye contact as the announcer introduced them. As they stood toe-to-toe, it seemed that only the gloved hand of the referee was stopping them from tearing into one another right then. Zoey Malone Jr offered to touched gloves and Watson simply backed away to his corner.

Round 1 – Malone opened this round with a head kick that was easily avoided by Watson. Sean Watson deflected the body shot of Malone, took a step forward, and tripped Zoey Malone Jr to the floor, full guard. From the guard, Watson started to work his patented ground and pound. However, these early blows didn't have much behind them.

Watson passed easily into side control, but Malone got back to half guard just as easily. As Watson worked power shots from the half guard, Malone regained full guard. The look of frustration on the face of the heavyweight champion of the world quickly became apparent. As Watson tried and failed to pass the guard, the referee finally stood the men up.

Sean Watson failed to bring the fight back to the ground, and Malone began stalking the champion. Watson started to circle away from the power punches of Malone. Watson worked the jab, and managed to open a minor laceration under the right eye of Malone. The remainder of the round consisted of a battle of attrition as both men traded single shots. Watson just couldn't find his earlier success with the takedowns. Malone managed to clinch several times and land some power shots on the champion.

Round 2 – A frustrated Sean Watson worked the jab as he tried again and again to bring the fight to the ground. Malone returned the favor with a hard jab that busted the nose of Watson. Watson was pushing forward, striking aggressively, with only a hint of his desperation sneaking into his eyes. By the two minute mark, Malone was bouncing on the balls of his feet, sneaking in with a single punch, and dancing away before Watson could retaliate. Watson was striking aggressively, trying to make something happen, but Malone was out boxing him, no sweat.

Suddenly, Watson darted forward with a left uppercut, and Malone caught him with a looping right hand! Watson almost went down off of that punch. Watson seemed to regain his legs rather quickly and Malone went back to his dancing and circling. After several minutes, Malone was pushing forward and Watson was trying to play keep away. Watson was throwing anything that he could, eerily reminiscent of Brock Lesnar trying to strike wth Cain Velasquez.

Near the end of the round, Watson dove for a takedown, as he tried to time the jab of Malone. Zoey Malone easily stuffed the takedown and made Sean Watson pay; as Watson got back to his feet, Malone caught him with a crisp right hand that put Watson down temporarily. Malone backed up, not wanting to play the ground game at all. Watson got back to his feet and landed a decent leg kick. Malone clinched and hammered Watson with short punches; Watson returned fire with a knee up the middle, seemingly breaking the nose of the Challenger.

Round 3 – Sean Watson was playing the defensive game early here, trying to stay away from the hard hitting puncher. Malone charged forward and faked the overhand, instead dipping down with an uppercut that pushed the Champion back into the fence. Watson was pushing the jab, but at this point he was throwing arm punches mostly. Watson did manage a decent leg kick, but Malone was eating him alive with punch after punch. After a brief separation, Malone dropped Watson with a big right hook. Malone stood over Watson for a moment but then shrugged, backed up, and ushered the Champion back to his feet. Malone looked to the Champion as he got to his feet and raised two fingers to him, letting him know that he had gone down twice.

Sean Watsontried for a takedown but Malone easily stuffed it. Watson dove forward once more, going for the legs; Malone pushed Watson's face to the floor as he stood. As Watson pushed forward, looking toward the legs of Malone, Zoey Malone leaned forward, right hand cocked. Watson started to move forward, and Malone caught him with a big right hand that put the Champion down face first on the canvas! Zoey Malone Jr jumped into side control and started dropping hammerfists! Watson tried to roll but Malone was all over him, dropping heavy punches! Watson turtled up and the referee stopped the fight, declaring the new champion! Zoey Malone Jr def. Sean Watson via TKO (Strikes) at 1:10 of round 3 to become the NEW Undisputed Epicity Heavyweight Champion of the World!

http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/03008/pearsonact_3008776b.jpg

Post fight, Zoey Malone Jr took to the microphone: 'I couldn't be happier winning my first title in such a great organization. Dad, this was for you!'.

Last time I talked to Hoarse he said he might have to be taken to the hospital and he has not logged on for three days since then. This could not have happened to a worse(I think it's worse right? not better? whatever the one that means hoarse is awesome) person. I am really worried about him and I am giving him my best wishes. He has helped my org out so much with his writing, more than he will probably ever realize.

I am sincerely sorry to everyone involved in the last couple cards who did not get to see their fighter previewed by the best in the business. I will write the best review I can muster tomorrow for our awesome event tonight that has thrown us up 6 places in the rankings.

A few quick comments:

Lotus really came out and made a statement tonight. This was a champion vs champion fight with Biggums bringing his own title with him as he joins the Epicity rankings. Biggums is a legit figher with a great manager standing behind him. Biggums had three rounds in the bag before that 5th round finish.

OH and guess what?

That wasn't even the only 5th round finish on the card!

Beserk and Dozer turned out to be JUST as exciting and exhilarating to read.

I cannot say enough about how proud I am of these two title fights on this card.

i have to congratulate lotus, he pulled off an upset, he was getting beaten for the first 4 rounds and up until he rocked me i was ahead on the fifth.
i guess i shouldn't have trusted my stand up so much but i will be back for a rematch.
as a manger i just had fucked up day, lost the title fight at EVO for the 185 title, lost the title fight at GAMMA against the no.1 BW in the world in a BS split decision and then lost the EP title fight after dominating for the entire fight.
fuck my life

Dickie "The Dirt" Dirty

I won my fight but I can't say that I'm very happy with how it went. I was way more active and the decision should have been more clear cut. Aah well, judges....

Depending on when the tournament kicks of that I have signed up for , I'll let the org owner know if I would like another fight before it or not.

EP23: The Prelims

http://oi60.tinypic.com/2yycv87.jpg

EP 22: Cataclysmic Chaos was the 22nd event in the numerical Epicity event calender taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada. This event was sold out with an attendance of 7000. It's event rating of 223 is the highest rating in Epicity history and as result EP has risen 6 ranks and is now the 30th ranked org in the game. This also marked the first Epicity event where two title fights were on the line and the first event in a long line of title headliners that did not have a title fight in the main event..

The Epicity World Light Heavyweight championship and the Epicity World Welterweight champion were on the line.

As owner of Epicity Productions, this event was one of my proudest moments as I believe we had a great night of fights with the title fights being the absolute highlights of the show.

As previously mentioned, I wish Hoarse Whisperer the best in defeating his illness and a speedy recovery.

I really believe we have a great sound roster to build from and divisions that were previously our weakest are quickly becoming some of our strongest and most exciting to watch unfold. But no more stalling, let's get to the juicy stuff shall we?! On to the first fight of the night.

Che "Min " Hoe(3-1-0) vs Rock "Fighting" Machine(8-12-0)

Che Hoe is a 3 fight Epicity veteran fighting out of The Evil Empire pilling up a 2-0 record with our organization. His first two fights with us he won by submission and heading into this event he was eager to add a third sub win to his resume.

Rock Machine is a 20 fight veteran of the sport fighting is well known orgs like Death Squad, SPNY and our friendly rival Insanity. He has been in plenty of wars in his day and is a true journeyman.

In round 1 Hoe starts off quickly with the takedown and Machine escapes to the feet only to be taken down again. This time it's Hoe who stand up out of the dominate position of side mount which turns a few head in his act of strange behavior. Hoe continues to mix in the clinch game an takedown game to dominate the opening round of the event with a mixed game.

Round 2 begins with Hoe continuing where he left off, mixing in his clinch game and event pulling guard. His diverse game scores another round for himself and the third round is another repeat performance. A dull fight all in all but a dominant performance by Che Hoe who showed off his diverse grappling game despite never attempting a submission. A solid win for Hoe as he moves up in the division once again.

Jaime Alvarez(2-4) vs Wesley Denson(8-9)

Our next fight pits newcomer Alvarez against Troid veteran Wesley Denson(0-1 in Epicity). Both fighters are well-rounded martial arts who take the mixed aspect very seriously.

Round 1 begins with Alvarez landing a nice body kick before a series missed exchanges leads to Jaime getting the takedown. It does not take Jaime long to take Denson's back and he slowly and methodically works his way to a Rear Naked Choke and Denson taps out at the 3:44 mark as Jaime Alverez secures a win in his Epicity debut and a submission of the night bonus to boot.

"A-roid" Alex Rodriguez(4-4) vs Charlie "Chaos" Cosades(5-6-1)

Alex Rodriguez(0-1 in Epicity) is a veteran of Gamma Contenders before making a career change by signing with Epicity Productions. He comes into this fight on a three fight losing streak looking to finally break his run of bad luck against Charlie Cosades(0-1 in Epicity). Cosades is also looking to rebound from a bad KO loss in his last bout as he takes on the decorated grappler A-roid. However, Cosades is a decorated grappler in his own right and looks to make this an exciting match.

Round 1 starts off with a wild exchange with both fighters miss terribly. Rodriguez is the first to get a takedown. He goes for an ankle lock but up ends up getting reverse and Cosades takes the top position. This does not last long however as A-roid gets the sweep and finish the round on top. Alex takes the round.

Round 2 starts off the same way, both fighters missing shots from range with Alex finally getting the takedown. They both parry for submissions but A-roid gains side control and a big elbow puts Cosades on queer street and A-roid follows up with unanswered shots and win the fight via GNP. Solid victory for Alex who stops his three fight skid with a dominant performance.

Chet "The Twin" Lamare(11-7) vs Dickie "The Dirt" Dirty(8-1)

Our next fight on the prelims two of our extremely talent lightweight newcomers. Both fighters are making their Epicity debut. Chet Lamare is a long time WarZone veteran, spending almost his entire career fighting for them before their unfortunate(not for us, we loved picking up all these talented fighters) demise. He has joined the Epicity ranks and looks to make a splash in his new home. His opponent, Dickie Dirty is the former champion of Ascension's Amsterdam experiment. He has never been finished and comes into this fight having never been finished and riding a 4 fight win streak. Dickie has taken 2 years off of fighting to re-evaluate his career before joining Bjorn's roster and will be surely looking to make an impact with his new manager. Chet Lamare represent the famed Broken Halo Alliance while Dickie's manager hails from the Dogs of War.

Round 1 begins with both of our fighters exchanging shots from a distance. Chet is looking to counter but it's Dickie landing the majority of the shots and picks his shot nicely. Dirty gets the takedown but it's Lamare who lands a beautiful butterfly sweep and ends up in Dirty's half guard. They both struggle for position as the first round comes into an end. A supposed close round but Dickie clearly takes it.

Round 2 starts out similar both ends up being very different. Dickie is the much more active fighter and lands strikes Chet with a variety of strikes. While Dickie presses the pace and lands more, Chet is loading up on shots and landing less frequently. Another cleat round for Dickie as he takes the lead, 2-0 heading into round three.

Round 3 begins and Dickie comes out aggressive only to get tagged by a counter shot, Lamare manages to get the fight into the clinch where he immediately shows his advantage by landing multiple strikes before Dickie's corner decides he has had enough of that nonsense and calls for the break. Dickie smartly obliges and gets outta the bad spot by breaking the clinch. Dickie continues to pick his shots but Lamare is more active in this round and lands a variety of kicks of his own, body and to the head. Dickie seems to take this personally and he responds with an aggressive end to the fight, landing shot after shot at will as the round comes to a close. Chet did a lot better in that last round but Dickie might of done enough to steal it. The judges don't agree with me however and two of them give Dickie the fight by a 29:28 decision declaring him the winner in his Epicity debut. God fight and effort by both of this skilled 155ers, they both have their work cut out for them in the tough road ahead in Epicity's illustrious lightweight division.

Leiro Nayr(10-7) vs George Baba(7-2)

Our last preliminary fight of the evening is next. It features 4 fight Epicity veteran Leiro Nayr(1-3) vs another veteran of Epicity, George Baba(2-3). Both of these fighters have similar stories. They started out their careers undefeated and with a lot of promise but things quickly changed when the losses start piling up. Nayr has made multiple title bids in his former org of Hostility, all in vain but has managed to squeeze of few wins in his scattered record of late. George Baba start his career an impressive 7-0 and seem to be on the highroad to a Middleweight title shot in Epicity. Things changed however when he ran into Dale McCann after an impressive victory over John Hoop as he was finished by McCann in the second round by TKO. The same thing happened in the next fight as undefeated Walter Black finish him with a flurry in the first round. Coming into this fight both of these fighters have a ton to prove to themselves AND to their fans in a Middleweight division that is deeper than the Great Blue Hole(google is your friend).

Round 1 begins and Nayr wastes no time getting this fight into the clinch. Baba breaks it but Nayr stays aggressive and lands a couple strikes before a series of clinches and clinch break comes after. Baba manages to land a couple shots at range but his timidness costs him the fight as Nayr's aggressiveness pays off. He lands several strikes before landing a devastating overhand right that makes Baba think he is floating in space. Nayr follows up with several strikes until the ref pulls him off and is declared the winner by TKO at the 3:33 mark of round 1. Impressive victory for Nayr who is now on a 2 fight win streak.
