EP23: The Main Card

cat·a·clysm

ˈkadəˌklizəm/

noun

a large-scale and violent event in the natural world.

a sudden violent upheaval, especially in a political or social context.

cha·os

ˈkāˌäs/Submit

noun

complete disorder and confusion

Destruction, Rebirth, Continuity, The Circle of Life, Chaos, Catacysmic events that destroy the old and shape the new.

This is Epicity.

Through the destruction of our bodies, the spilling of our blood, the sweat and tears put into these fights. We give life, we give purpose and we produce something special.

Something... Epic.

Epicity 23 was possibly the most significant event in Epicity history and is a symbol of an org that strives to be different from other ID orgs. We are not just about fair fights and similar ID tags, we are about the future. Our fighters, our champions, our talent... they are all being nursed to be the next top fighters of tomorrow.

Through destruction we seek change, we seek progress, we seek to change the landscape and carve our own niche into the world of MMA Tycoon.

Yesterday, we covered the events that unfolded in the preliminary card of Cataclysmic Chaos, today we focus on the main show.

Boogie Knight(9-5) vs Lars Hagen(10-5-2)

To start our main show of the evening I find myself feeling sentimental, I see Boogie Knight(1-2 in Epicity and 1-0 with his current manager), a fighter I used to manager and let go in his attempt to revive his career under the guidance of Freddy Krueger(formerly known as Delish Sellicha) hailing from the rising Bomb Squad alliance. Boogie Knight is a kickboxer with well rounded skills and awesome knock out power. He has won every fight of his career by (t)ko) and enters this fight looking for the tenth finish of his career. Sporting a fancy suit and an afro look that girls melt for, he is surely looking like a future star that Epicity strives to nurture.

Then we have his opponent, Lars Hagen making his Epicity debut. Lars is the definition of the well-rounded fighter. He is a MT fighter with a very varied attack and strong clinch game. The long time veteran of Hilo Fight League has joined the Epicity ranks to make a mark on the MMA world and his mark starts with facing kickboxer expect Boogie Knight.

Round 1 starts with Hagen immediately taking the fight to the clinch, clearly looking to impose his game plan from the get-go. He manages to land some good shots on Knight but Boogie shows he is no slouch in the clinch either, land uppercuts and knees to the head in this exchange. Boogie breaks the clinch and we are back at distance. Knight is the aggressor and lands shot after shot clearly taking the lead in this round, Hagen lands his own shots but Boogie clearly outscores him and takes round 1.

Round 2 starts off with a similar scenario and Hagen gets the fight to the clinch as soon as possible after getting out-struck at distance in the previous round. The ends up being a good move as Hagen outscores Boogie here despite Boogie lands some nice shots of his own, keeping this fight extremely close heading into the halfway point. As they break the clinch and end up back at distance circling around each other it's Hagen this time who takes the lead and out strikes Boogie. His counter game is solid in this round and there is no doubt that Lars wins round 2 and we are dead even heading into the third and final round!

Hagen starts off aggressive in round 3 but that quickly stops when Boogie lands a big combination. The entire round is full of back and forth shots from Boogie and Lars with neither fighter backing down. A great finish to the fight but Lars did just enough in that final round to take it on the score cards. The judges agree and it's Lars Hagen who wins his Epicity debut in an impressive back and forth war with Boogie Knight. A disappointing loss for sure for Boogie Knight, he will be angry at himself but he shouldn't be, he gave a hell of a fight and showed his class even in a loss. Lars Hagen moves up in the rankings and Boogie Knight is left wondering what to work on next.

Winner: Lars Hagen by Decision

Dale "Mac" McCann(15-10) vs Kshitij Singh Negi(17-10)

Our second main card fight of the evening shows the return of Epicity veteran Dale McCann(2-1) hailing from the Dogs of War under the management of Frank King. Dale McCann is a decorate boxer with a well rounded set of skills to back his specialty up with. He is returning to action after a failed title bid in which he lost by TKO in the first round against the former champion Dominic Strucio. McCann is no stranger to comebacks however, he has been up and down his entire career and has always come back stronger and meaner and surely this time is no different. He is a veteran of many orgs and is looking to make a statement tonight against a very worth opponent.

His opponent is Kshitij Singh Negi, where McCann shines in boxing, it's MT that is Negi's bread and butter, he also backs his specialty up with a solid set of primaries to compliment his Exceptional muy thai game. Like McCann, Negi is a veteran of many orgs. He has fought for Death Squad, RPG and the late Honor FC. What he brings to this fight is some serious KO power with 14 career knock outs to combat McCann's 12. He has the better chin so surely he will look to test McCann's heart and confidence as he brings the heat.

Round 1 begins with both fighters swinging for the fences and missing badly. McCann is the first to find his range and sends Negi to the floor with a brilliant timed 1-2 left right combination that puts Negi on queer street. McCann let him up and looks to continue searching for the knock out. Negi gets the fight to clinch and both fighters work to gain the edge. Negi lands an elbow and a knee before McCann gets the fight back to range. They fight in and out of the clinch for the duration of the round but McCann clearly takes this round with a vicious knock down and scoring more points.

In round two, Negi starts the period off strong landing a few strikes but an uppercut changes everything as McCann sends him to the floor once again. Negi does everything he can to stay in the fight but another combination puts him back on his ass and McCann lands an amazing Superman Punch to put Negi out for good. An Amazing knock out of the night performance by McCann.

Winner: Dale McCann by KO(Superman Punch)

Epicity World Light Heavyweight Championship

Urho Berserk(9-1)(C) vs Frank "Baldy" Dozer(8-1)

Next up we have our first Epicity World title fight of the evening. Urho Berserk defends his title against Epicity veteran and former challenger Frank Dozer who looks for his second attempt at grabbing the gold.

Urho Berserk is no stranger to title fights. With a record of 9-1 he has already won two championships and defended one twice. He made his Epicity debut in a champion vs champion bout against former EP Light Heavyweight champion Medium Hardon. In a hard fought effort he took the Majority Decision victory and became are new LHW champion of the world. He brings to the fight his devastating striking game complete with one punch/kick KO power. Surely he will be looking to finish his opponent this time after being visibly disappoint with himself after capturing the title by a hair. Berserk fights for Mr Gutz out of the FinnFighters camp.

Frank Dozer is no strange to title fights himself... He fought Berry Bubberman for the inaugural EP LHW championship in a losing effort, losing by tko in the second round. However, he has compiled a 3-1 record in Epicity with his loss to Bubberman being the sole stain on his polished record. A fighter that has spent his entire career with Nick Force, he looks to represent the Force Fight Team by bringing him his taste of gold and redeeming his losing effort against Bubberman.

Round 1 begins and both fighters looks to implement their game plan from the distance. Frank Dozer lands a few strikes but it's Berserk that lands the majority of the strikes. They fight back and forth in a technical battle before Berserk graze Dozer with a partial head kick that still has enough power to rock Dozer and suddenly the fight has change. Frank Dozer is rocked and on wobbly legs as Berserk goes in looking for the kill, however a rocked Dozer proves to be a dangerous Dozer as he knocks down Berserk with a vicious head kick! All of sudden all of Berserk's momentum is thrown back at him ten fold and this fight just got interesting! Both fighters are rocked and look to recover for the rest of the round and before we know it the buzzer is already signaling the end of the first round.

Both fighters eye each other in the corner and look anxious to get back out there. The refs signal cannot come fact enough and both fighters rush each other as round 2 begins. Dozer immediately lands a power uppercut as the two fighters clash. Beserk scores with some kicks before Dozer switches up the game and takes him down. Dozer looks for submission after submission but gets none of them. Dozer controls him for the rest of the round but in this wacky scoring system, apparently it's Beserk who "dominated" that round. I disagree and say it was pretty even.

Round 3 shows both fighters going after each other with determination both scoring strikes and takes strikes and right before the 4 minute mark Dozer lands another takedown. He doesn't do much with it but clearly Dozer takes round 4 in a round full of stand up action.

Round 4 is a mirror image of round 4 as both fighters stay at range the entirety of the five minutes and it's Berserk who takes round 4 making this fight extremely interesting going into the final round of this championship bout.

Round 5 start and both fighters trade places over and over again, first Dozer is the aggressor and then Beserk takes over the actively. Both fighters are hitting each other with everything they have, throwing anything and everything at their disposable. As the round is coming to an end the crow is readying themselves for the decision but out of nowhere Berserk lands a monster of a head kick and just like that, in a flashing it's Berserk raining down punishment with the ref pulling him off and at the 4:42 mark of round number 5, just 18 seconds before a decision Beserk finishes the fight and retains the Epicity World LHW championship without any hassle from the refs.

This has been an AMAZING fight to read and surely a candidate for Epicity's fight of the year, truly a great privilege to read this fight. Great work guys, great work

.

Winner and STILL the Light Heavyweight Champion of the World: Urho Berserk by TKO

Epicity World Welterweight Championship

Tyrone Biggums(8-4) vs Lotus Suzinuki(14-6)(c)

Our next bout of the evening features the newcomer, current Gamma Contenders Welterweight champion Tyone Biggums challenging our own Lotus Suzinuki in a bout that (in linear theory) unify both titles as the Undisputed Welterweight champion of Epicity.

The champion Lotus SNOOZiSNOOKI is one of Epicity's oldest and longest reigning champions behind Lightweight Miller. He has compiled a 3-0 record with Epicity and already defended his title once. He has finished both title fights by knock out and looks to do so against a very tough champion in Tyrone Biggums. Lotus became an internet sensation when call outs of his name started a nickname bonanza of world play. He fights for Steve Unsinn out of the Cold Blooded Killers and under his current management he has NEVER lost a bout.

The challenger, Tyrone Biggums is a battle tested veteran of the sport as well. He has fought some tough competition through out his career and enters this bout having also defended his own title once before deciding that Gamma Contenders wasn't the place for him. He realized the ship might be sinking and took off on a light boat toward the rising island known as Epicity. Much like Lotus, he is a well round and extremely skilled grappler who can also strike. He holds a Black Belt in Brazilin Jiu Jitsu and a face only a mother could love. He comes into this match up on a 4 fight win streak under the tutelage of his long time manager Igor Psycho who now resides in Team Conquer, one of the top rated managers in the game.

Round 1 begins with both fighters exchanging but it's Lotus that takes the upper hand early in the round. Lotus continues to drill kick after kick crashing into Biggums' legs and body. Biggums recognizes things are not going his way and takes the fight into the clinch, a smart move to be sure. Both fighters are landing shots in the multiple clinch exchanges that come next but Biggums might of stolen the round by landing more in the clinch and keep the fight on the feet.

In round 2 Lotus continues his endless barrage of kicks with Biggums seems to be having trouble countering. Biggums once again takes the fight to the clinch but we they are once again evenly match. The remainder of the round remains close but once again as the round close it it Biggums who is ahead on the score cards.

Biggums has an intense back and forth with his corner men as they seem to be going over a new game plan for the next round. Biggums comes out focused and plays a good defense for the opening minute, countering Lotus successfully and defending well. He changes the pace by landing a takedown and taking this fight to the ground for the first time. Lotus manages to land a nice sweep and finds himself on top where he stays for the remainder of the round, defending against Tyrone's submission attempts and working on ground n pound. Lotus takes this round no doubt.

Once again Biggums gets into it with his corner and comes out in round 4 looking looking even more fired up than before. He is aggressive and active throughout the whole round while Lotus works more technically, picking his shots and defending against Biggums' attacks. Close round but once again Biggums might have picked up another round and might have this fight in the back barring a crazy finish in round 5.

Round 5 starts out with both fighters looking for the right shot and staying on the outside, trying to implement their own clashing game plans. Biggums shakes things up and lands a nice flying knee which gets a good pop from the crowd. Biggums is landing uppercuts and head shots while stuffing Lotus' takedowns, surely Lotus has nothing le- OH MY GOD What a vicious head kick landed by Lotus, I can't believe Biggums is still standing but he is refusing to go down. He lands a three punch combo while on wobbly legs which has everyone in the crowd jumping out of their seats in anticipation. Everyone senses a finish and it comes soon enough as a well timed hook to the chin but's Biggums down and Lotus swarms him with more strikes until the ref decides enough is enough. That is it folks. There ya have it. After an impressive performance by Tyrone Biggums it is Lotos SNOOZEnuki who puts the snooze on Tyrone. An impressive way to finish a fight he was surely losing on the score cards.

That is two fifth round finishes in a row folks, you don't see that everyday. Both the Light Heavyweight and Welterweight champions retain their titles and in practice Lotus becomes the linear champion of Gamma Jr, whether he wants that title or not.

Winner and STILL the Welterweight Champion of the World: Lotus Suzinuki by TKO

Troy "Magic" Powers(14-1-1) vs Jerry Seinfeld(10-0)

We have finally arrived gents, he were are. The MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING as Bruce Buffer would say. We have the highly touted 25 year old creation who is here to prove that 25 year old build can still kick ass, the 14-1-1 Magic Powers featuring 14 wins with 14 (t)kos. That is an impressive and scary number right there.

Troy Powers is a long time veteran of REVO and Death Squad. He became the Death Squad welterweight champion and successfully defended the title once before losing the first bout of his career and his title. He came back with an impressive performance before deciding to change manager teams and now he fights for Gary Coffey of the famed Broken Halo Alliance.

His opponent, Jerry Seinfeld whose name is awfully familiar and close to a certain well known comedian who got his own sitcom, a show about nothing... that become a show about something. Fighting for Ryne Woodsmall out of the rising Bomb Squad alliance he spots a perfect and clean 10-0 record and beat a skilled young opponent in his first fight with Epicity. Now he finds himself on the cusp of a title shot and bigger and better things. Now with his third manager, things have finally settled down for this talented kid and he looks to prove himself here tonight in our main event.

Round 1 starts and Seinfeld immediately lands a nice right hand that gets the crowd cheering and into the fight. Both fighters seem to be looking for the counter and exchange shots from range, both connecting and landing shots before the fight ends up in the clinch. In the clinch it's all Seinfeld who lands a few shots and Powers tries to pull guard but ends up looking silly. They end up back in the clinch as round 1 comes to an end and Seinfeld clearly takes round 1.

Round 2 begins much like the first. Both fighters fight at distance picking their shots but Seinfeld is the more effective striker and despite taking some good shots from Powers is still outscoring him. Jerry takes the fight into the clinch so he can implement his game plan and impose his will on Troy Powers. It seems to work as he begins to open up Troy's defense and land some nice shots in the clinch. Powers finally escapes from this bad spot and gets back to distance. Powers decides he wants this fight on the ground and does so accordingly. It's not enough to sway the judges though as another round is most likely going to be scored in favor of Jerry Seinfeld.

At the start of the round 3 Jerry wastes no time getting the fight back to his comfort zone and he gets the fight back to the clinch. He continues to open up Power's defense but Powers changes levels and fights hard for a takedown that he eventually gets. Powers gets to side control but there is not enough action and the ref decides to stand them up despite the dominant position, come on ref you're better than that. They are reset back on the feet and Seinfeld uses his footwork to score shots at will to outpoint Powers in route to winning the final round of the fight.

We go to the judges scorecard for decision and all three score it in favor of the winner of our main event with a unanimous decision victory (30-27 on all cards). Jerry Seinfeld wins possibly the biggest fight in his career and a title shot while Troy is visibly upset with himself and will sure go back home to find out what went wrong.

Winner: Jerry Seinfeld by Decision

There ya have it folks, I may not be Hoarse but I am still here to give you the in and out of what transpired at Cataclysmic Chaos. An awesome event that scored a good rating for us and two title fights that rank among the best fights we have ever had here in Epicity. I must say I am extremely proud to be the owner and founder of this great company. It's you guys, the managers, the fighters, the fans, everyone that keeps me going. You guys are great. This is Dick Hardwood here saying stay strong, stay hard, and wear protection. Good night everyone!

Lotus Suzinuki-

I could care less about having the gamma title. Obviously Tyrone felt the same way and graciously signed with us here at Epicity to come surrender it.

(Lightweight Division) Aleksandr Kozlov (10-11) versus Brogan Kearney (8-7)

Aleksandr Kozlov competed for the Bushido Proving Ground based in St Petersburg, Russia, before moving to Los Angeles to fight for Insanity MMA. As a part of his contract, Kozlov challenged for the Insanity Lightweight Championship in his promotional debut; he defeated Jim Yamamoto at Insanity 21 to become the undisputed lightweight champion. Kozlo successfully defended his title one time, in a brutal knockout victory, before losing his belt.

Aleksandr Kozlov would fight seven more times within Insanity, but would never reclaim his championship gold, or even get close to challenging for it. Kozlov had a notable rivalry with Jin Yamamoto, defeating him three times across his tenure with Insanity, including his last fight with the promotion.

Aleksandr Kozlov is currently 1-3 within Epicity Productions, with that one victory coming over Derek Pattesron. He has since been trangled by Julius Octavius and had his head decapitated via head kick by Virgil Dreesen. Aleksandr Kozlov is one of the shorter men in the Epicity lightweight division, and he struggles against larger opponents quite frequently.

Brogan Kearney is a seasoned boxer and mixed martial artist. His early career was primarily spent fighting for the World Combat Sports Association, where he held a record of five wins and only one loss. He fought twice for the Pomplestine Fighting Championship, where he faced two stoppage defeats before leaving the promotion.

Following his time with PFC, he signed to fight for Epicity Productions; a move which has seemingly revitalized his career path. Although he was defeated at EP 1, he rebounded with first round knockout victories over Bragainho Prado and Derek Patterson. He lost twice following those impressive showings, but only against the very best of his division. His most recent appearance was at EP 16, where he knocked out Homero Lopez in the first round.

In his most recent appearance, Kearney was defeated by Ruslan Mstis Volkov early in the second round of their fight.

http://i.imgur.com/50nFZme.jpg

(Welterweight Division) Derek The Brave (6-2) versus Raizer Sorrow (7-1)

Derek The Brave, also known as Derek The Dreamkiller, is an extremely high level wrestling standout that specialized in folkstyle wrestling before making the transition to mixed martial arts. He has since obtained a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, however he is not a submission fighter. He uses his mastery of top control and transitions to power his heavy ground and pound.

He has suffered his only two professional defeats since he began competing within Epicity Productions. In his Epicity debut, he was defeated by Wrestlefuck Wrestling for the welterweight championship. He rebounded with a beautiful stoppage over Jacek Moczymorda, but once again tasted defeat at the hands of DeMarcus DeSilva.

Derek The Brave has never been stopped in his professional career.

Raizer Sorrow, formerly known as Rick Ripper, is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighter that holds a brown belt in the sport. He is extremely dangerous on the ground and in the clinch, with ample victories via submission and knockout. He is currently on a seven fight winning streak; in his Epicity debut, he stopped Dmitri Yurkov in just over two minutes.

(Heavyweight Division) Shezzo Wicked (9-8-1) versus Kuzan Aokiji (4-1)

Shezzo Wicked is an eight time QFC competitor that made the move to professional kick boxing after a lengthy string of defeats in MMA. While competing under the New Age Cage Fighting banner, Wicked challenged for the XKC super-heavyweight championship; he lost that fight, but closed out his K-1 career with two impressive victories.

Shortly thereafter, Shezzo Wicked returned to mixed martial arts to fight in the Epicity Productions cage. He is 3-1 since his return to MMA, with notable victories over Isa Bolentini and Johnny Rico.

Kuzan Aokiji is a Japan native that used to compete in small time kick boxing shows. His love for grappling caused him to branch out into other sports, including submission grappling contests, before signing up to fight in mixed martial arts. Four of his five fights were in small time QFC matches, where he is undefeated; his one loss came in Insanity MMA. This fight will be his Epicity debut.

http://i.imgur.com/QLDAG4s.jpg

(Heavyweight Division) Sofoklis Aristotelis (5-4) versus Rico Icon (5-4-1)

Sofoklis Aristotelis is a newcomer to the Epicity cage, having competed primarily under the GAMMA banners in the past. This kick boxer may not have the sturdiest of chins, but his power cannot be questioned, as he has stopped three opponents within five victories.

Rico Icon is a veteran grappler with a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt. The vast majority of his mixed martial arts career has taken place in the New York Fight Night promotion. He has added a few wrinkles to his fight game, as he has become quite the accomplished kick boxer to compliment his usual ground and pound style.

http://i.imgur.com/lYFGcSw.jpg

(Featherweight Division) Billy Helix (9-5) versus Henry Huahua (5-6)

Billy Helix is a former Arizona state wrestling champion that placed high marks in his tenure there. His tremendous wrestling pedigree is only rivaled by his tremendous ego, as he will happily tell you, in graphic and often exagerrated detail, about his competitive accomplishments. Born the youngest of three boys, he was forced to step up in a big way to keep up with his bigger siblings, which has instilled within him a sense of confidence that is unwavering.

He is a former Sin City Fighters Underground featherweight title challenger that has also competed several times in the Hilo Fighting Championship and Silent Fighting Championship. This next fight will be his Epicity debut.

Henry Huahua is a Mexican kick boxer that has adapted his style to incorporate takedowns. On the ground, he focuses on landing strikes rather than work for a submission of some sort. The majority of his MMA bouts have taken place in the Major League Fighting promotion, where he had a less than stellar record.

Like his opponent, he is making his Epicity debut here.

Thanks man. I think the actual order of the fights has changed since I uploaded that (either that or Zithromax is a hell of a drug...). I'm not going to lose my mind re-ordering the fights that I've already posted; I'm just going to try to finish the fights that I haven't already covered lol

EP 24 - Main Card (Preview)

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13808018697089.pngversushttp://mmatycoon.com/gallery/25/25w15.jpg

(Middleweight Division) Ilya Mstislav Volkov (7-3) versus Stefan Kung (8-5)

Ilya Mstislav Volkov is a Sambo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu standout; he holds a brown belt in Jiu-Jitsu, but prefers to use ground and pound to smash opponents through the floor. He has fought, primarily, for the Umbrella Corporation, and for Insanity MMA, before signing to fight for Epicity Productions. In his Epicity debut, he knocked out Donnie Felterbush midway into the second round, using his newfound standup skills.

Stefan Kung is probably one of the best fighters to get completely steamrolled throughout his Epicity Productions tenure. He holds notable victories over Pika Chu, Rigoberto Lamas, as well as former Impact MMA and Warzone MMA light-heavywight champion AG Pennypacker. He is a brilliant submission fighter with a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Despite his impressive resume, Kung has won only once in five fights with Epicity Productions. His lone defeat, over Travis Davies, is testament to the fact that Kung may not be finished quite yet.

(Lightweight Division) Ruslan Mstislav Volkov (8-2) versus William Henry Bonney (9-3-1)

Ruslan Mstislav Volkov is an aggressive Russian Sambo specialist that fluently combines punches, kicks, and takedowns to keep the fight wherever he feels that he will hold the advantage. Despite being primarily known for his strking, the vast majority of his stoppage victories have come by way of submission.

His early career was spent fighting for the Umbrella Corporation, before moving on to UNFC Tokyo. In his Epicity debut, he knocked out Brogan Kearney with one punch early in the second round.

William Henry Bonney is a newcomer to the Epicity cage. He has fought primarily for Barbarian FC, where he earned a decent record, and the Royal Fighting Championship, where he was undefeated and held the RFC Lightweight championship. He earned his world title when he stopped Steve Vega, and he successfully defended his strap two times before the promotion shut down, making him the linear RFC lightweight champion.

(Heavyweight Division) Matt Weston (9-2-1) versus Jacques Saint-Perrilloux (5-0)

Matt Weston is a former New Age Cage Fighting K-1 contender. His pro-kick boxing record is 7-2-1, which he compiled across two different managers. Before changing management for the last time, he made the transition to mixed martial arts, signing to fight for Epicity Productions. In his EP debut, he was knocked out by Zoey Malone Jr, and subsequently parted ways with his agent.

Under new management, Weston is currently on a two fight winning streak with two brutal first round stoppages due to strikes.

Jacques Saint-Perrilloux, who will henceforth be referred to as JSP (I realized after I typed this that his nickname is actually JSP- go figure) is the former Gamasi Fighting Company's heavyweight champion. He retired with his championship belt, parting ways with his management in the process. He has since returned to professional combat and become affiliated with a new management team.

JSP is known for his extraordinarily heavy hands, as he won his first three fights via first round knock out.

[Co-Main Event]

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/22/22w24.jpgversushttp://mmatycoon.com/gallery/11/11w19.jpg

(Lightweight Division) Andrew Morgan (16-8) versus James Granger (13-8)

Andrew Morgan is a five time world championship title challenger. He has successfully claimed a world title three times out of those attempts, with three successful title defenses as well. The majority of his fights, including all of his successful title fights, took place within the borders of Death Squad MMA, where he holds a record of sixteen wins and seven losses; an impressive record, to say the least.

Andrew is a former professional boxer that is known for making outlandish claims about his time as a pugilist.

Most recently, Andrew Morgan made a name for himself in the buildup to his championship fight with Jeffrey Miller. Despite being defeated in the third round of the fight, Morgan earned fans after he stood toe-to-toe with the champion and duked it out on the feet; he also survived through the second round despite being hurt badly by the champion in that time.

James Granger is a three time world championship title challenger, that briefly held the Barbarian FC lightweight championship before dropping it in his very first bid at a defense. Granger is on his third management team, having parted ways with two other managers in the past.

The majority of Granger's MMA fights have taken place in Barbarian FC, where he was best known for his technical submission prowess; in recent months, he has shown flashes of true knockout power with his ground and pound.

Krab, it will be my pleasure to add another KO to that disgusting record of yours"

Yes, another scalp on my belt, and this time of a fighter who outskilled me in every primary. Dicko, i must say you have a better chin then i expected. thought i was going to knock you out, but you managed to survive. did beat you on your own gameplan, i won the decision.

Good luck in your next fight, i'm sure you will bounce right back with a win.

My next opponent brings a new challenge, a black belt fighter. So i'll try to keep it standing and knock his jaw off. gonna rest for a few days and then its hard work to get in shape for this next title challenge.

Btw, i challenge every 220k i.d. in my weight class to sign with epicity and try to steal my belt.

EP 24: Miller vs Dicko - Review

(Featherweight Division) Billy Helix versus Henry HuaHua

Round 1 – Billy Helix came forward, looking to get in the face of his opponent and set up a takedown, and Henry HuaHua used the push kick to keep Helix at bay. HuaHua was throwing leg kicks, body kicks, and head kicks, playing a dangerous game with the wrestler, who was obviously looking to catch a leg.

Helix connected with a left hook and as HuaHua came forward to answer it, Helix ducked under, wrapping his arms around the waist of HuaHua, and bringing him to the ground; side control for Billy Helix. Henry HuaHua managed to work his way from side control to half guard, and then to full guard; as Helix struggled to maneuver from guard, HuaHua reversed him, landing in guard on top.

Henry HuaHua laid dormant in the guard of Billy Helix, obviously hoping to force a standup; Billy Helix took the opportunity to sweep him back to the bottom, landing in guard on top. Billy Helix postured up from guard, and started landing ground and pound. HuaHua caught him coming down with an elbow, and reversed him to the bottom once more. This time, HuaHua managed to hang on and force the standup, right at the end of the round.

Round 2 – Henry HuaHua opened this round with kicks, kicks, and more kicks. He was coming from all angles to hit his opponent. Billy Helix tried to fire back with punches, but he was lucky to even be hitting the air close to HuaHua. Nearly two minutes into the round, Helix caught his foe off guard with a powerful double leg takedown into guard. Helix wasted no time in launching ground and pound from the top position. Despite passing the guard early, HuaHua managed to get back to the superior defensive position and force a referee standup. The two fighters spent nearly a minute and a half on the feet, with Helix looking lost, before Billy Helix managed to score another takedown into half guard.

Unfortunately for Helix, there was only a few seconds left in the round, and the buzzer sounded before he could put forward any significant offense.

Round 3 – Henry HuaHua was aggressive in his early onslaught, hitting Helix with kicks from all angles once again. Billy Helix scored a takedowninto guard, but was quickly reversed to the bottom. HuaHua stalled for a standup, and dominated the remainder of the fight on the feet. Henry HuaHua def. Billy Helix via Unanimous Decision (30-28, 30-27, 30-28).

(Heavyweight Division) Sofoklis Aristotelis versus Rico Icon

Round 1 – Aristotelis was getting the better of the striking exchanges early, as Rico Icon was on the receiving end of some nasty shots. Aristotelis opted to clinch with his opponent and quickly found himself trapped against the cage by the superior grappler. Rico Icon held on for several minutes, landing shots from the clinch position, but finally relinquished the position. The tempo of the fight had changed dramatically by the three minute mark, as now Rico Icon was landing wicked looping blows and backing Aristotelis up as he went.

Round 2 – Despite the failure of the technique in the opening round, Aristotelis opted to clinch straight out of the gate in this round; he managed to open a pretty bad cut on the face of Icon, but was getting banged up by the wrestler's offense against the cage. Four minutes in, Aristotelis almost went down off a short strike; he tried to hold on, but Rico Icon swarmed on him, knocking him out cold with a massive uppercut.

(Heavyweight Division) Shezzo Wicked versus Kuzan Aokiji

Round 1 – In this opening round, both men were throwing hard kicks early on, and landing frequently; however, Shezzo Wicked was landing far more frequently than his opponent in this instance. Aokiji clinched and both men landed short elbows and knees. Near the end of the round, Wicked escaped the clinch and landed some hard shots.

Rounds 2 & 3 – These two rounds were a pure kick boxing battle, with Aokiji landing a couple dozen leg kicks, and some decent shots upstairs, but Shezzo Wicked was landing the harder shots, and making them count each time. It was a close fight overall, with one judge declaring the opening round a draw. Shezzo Wicked def. Kuzan Aokiji via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-28).

(Welterweight Division) Derek The Brave versus Raizer Snow

Round 1 – Derek The Brave was all over Raizer Snow from the opening second of the fight; he opened with a right hand, connected with body strikes and hooks; Raizer Snow was lost against the ferocity of his opponent here. Derek caught Raizer looking away and tagged him with a series of strikes that forced the stoppage. Derek The Brave def. Raizer Snow via TKO (Strikes) at 0:48 of round 1.

(Lightweight Division) Aleksandr Kozlov versus Brogan Kearney

Round 1 – The fighters traded jabs early on, and Kozlov obtained his patented clinch position. However, Kearney was getting the better of the Russian with no uncertainty in his moves, as he pounded on the smaller man against the cage. Kozlov pushed off and circled back to the center of the cage, only to eat a left hook for his troubles.

Kozlov began to shut down, back pedaling with his dukes up, and Kearney stalked him down, throwing punches. As Kozlov backed up, he got trapped against the cage and ate an unrelenting volley of shots, knocking him out cold. Brogan Kearney thanked his sponsor, Walhalla Clothing. Brogan Kearney def. Aleksandr Kozlov via KO (Punch) at 1:23 of round 1.

(Middleweight Division) Ilya Mstislav Volkov versus Stefan Kung

Round 1 – Stefan Kung opened the round looking for a takedown, and making no secret of his intentions. As he dove in, trying to grab the legs of his opponent, Volkov clubbed him with a head kick that sent him reeling on rubbery legs, until Kung fell on his back. Stefan Kung rushed back to his feet and tried to come forward with a takedown; Volkov tied him up in a clinch. Kung executed a beautiful hip toss that put him in side control above Volkov.

The better part of the round was spent with Kung on top, working for an arm lock from half guard. After a referee standup, Volkov went back to hammering Kung but the round ended.

Round 2 – Kung was absolutely telegraphing his takedown intentions in this round, but was still a bit sloppy from the head kick in the prior round. Volkov was connecting with total confidence in his ability. Just like in the prior round, Kung dove forward for the legs of his foe, and ran face first into a head kick that put him down. This time, however, Kung didn't get back up. Ilya Mstislav Volkov def. Stefan Kung via KO (Head Kick) at 0:22 of round 2.

(Lightweight Division) Ruslan Mstis Volkov versus William Henry Bonney

Rounds 1 and 2 – These were two very close rounds in which both men were landing punches and kicks, causing significant damage on each other with each second. The ringside judges gave both rounds to Ruslan, but it was very close.

Round 3 – Both men put on a beautiful striking clinic early, and Volkov switched things up with a takedown two minutes in. After flopping a submission attempt, Volkov found himself flipped to the bottom as Bonney rolled to the top position. This did little to slow Volkov, as he kept rolling for submissions until the end. Ruslan Mstislav Volkov def. William Henry Bonney via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

(Heavyweight Division) Matt Weston versus Jacques Saint-Perrilloux

Round 1 – Although the early striking exchanges were relatively even, Matt Weston took over this round after forcing a clinch. JSP found himself trapped against the cage; he was firing back, but rarely connecting.

Round 2 – Matt Weston picked up the pace early, landing shots on JSP before once again clinching. JSP was active with his back to the cage, but had to struggle with all of his might to execute each movement. JSP escaped the clinch for a moment, but Weston quickly put him back against the cage.

Round 3 – This time it was Saint-Perrilloux that came out swinging out of the gate. JSP was backing Weston up with a constant flurry of leg kicks. After throwing maybe four leg kicks, JSP came over the top with an overhand right that wobbled Weston. Matt Weston backed up quickly, and held his arms high over his head against the cage. JSP swarmed him and caught him with a well placed left hand down the middle that separated Weston from his consciousness. Jacques Saint-Perrilloux def. Matt Weston via KO (Punch) at 0:46 of round 3.

[Co-Main Event]

(Lightweight Division) Andrew Morgan versus James Granger

Round 1 – James Granger faked the overhand right and dove in on the legs of the former two time Death Squad champion. James Granger landed in the guard of Morgan, and immediately went for an ankle lock. Morgan put his excellent Jiu-Jitsu on full display as he used the opportunity to reverse to guard on top. Granger was working the high guard, and Morgan opted to escape the guard of the brown belt.

Andrew Morgan put on sprawl and brawl clinic for several minutes. Unfortunately for Morgan, he got a bit carried away after rocking Granger with a left handed punch; he rushed forward to finish, and fell into a takedown, landing with Granger in his guard. Granger rolled for a couple of awkward submission attempts, but eventually stalled from guard, looking to recover his senses as long as he could. The ref stood them up, and Granger flopped a takedown attempt, eating a series of strikes for his trouble.

Morgan closed out this round teeing off on Granger against the cage, and made a big show of pre-emptive celebration when the buzzer sounded, ending the round.

Round 2 – As Granger circled the cage from the balls of his feet, looking for an opening, Morgan lunged forward with a straight right hand that dropped Granger to his back! Morgan jumped into mount and started pounding on Granger with huge looping punches from above! Granger wasn't defending himself, and so the referee halted the match, declaring Morgan the winner! Andrew Morgan def. James Granger via TKO (Punches) at 0:05 of round 2, officially ending his losing streak of three hard fights.

[Main Event]

(Lightweight Division, Championship bout) Chico Dicko versus Jeffrey Miller©

Round 1 – The opening three minutes of this fight were clearly going towards the challenger, as Chico Dicko was landing frequently and keeping Miller on the defensive. Three minutes in, Miller managed to clinch with his opponent for a few seconds at a time, landing hard shots on the inside. The last minute and a half went to the champion, as he picked up the pace and put his challenger back on the defensive.

Round 2 – This round opened just like the first one, with Chico Dicko dominating the opening minutes with hard shots, out-pacing the champion in each exchange. Miller was landing hard each time that he connected, but Dicko was certainly out pacing him.

Round 3 – Miller tried to pick up the pace in this round, but the constant pressure of Chico Dicko made it difficult for the champion to make his shots count... every time he paused, Dicko would start wailing on him and wouldn't let up.

Round 4 – Something changed in this round... Dicko slowed down in a big way, and Miller came alive with the sort of pace we had seen out of his challenger not five minutes prior. It was like Miller smelled the weakening of his opponent's defenses. Whatever it was, this was the first round to absolutely go to either man, with Miller dominating it to the final seconds.

Round 5 – This round comfortably went to the champion, as Chico Dicko just appeared to be tired, or injured. Regardless, Miller dominated this round, and won the fight. But check out these scorecards:

Judge Robert Twigg declared that Jeffrey Miller won rounds 1, 2, 4, and 5, with round #3 going to Chico Dicko.

Judge Alan Glass declared that Jeffrey Miller won rounds 1, 2, 4, and 5, with round #3 being ruled a draw.

Judge Danial Franklin declared that Jeffrey Miller won rounds 1, 4, and 5, with round #2 being a draw, and round 3 going to the challenger.

Good grief, Charlie Brown, what a mess.

Jeffrey Miller def. Chico Dicko via Unanimous Decision (49-46, 50-46, 49-47) to retain the Undisputed Epicity Productions Lightweight Championship of the World!
