[The Prelims]

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Cingeto Ysengrin versus Yujus Gotrekt

Round 1With both men making their professional fighting debut at this event, fan curiosity was high to see which man would claim his first pro victory. Gotrekt came out reasonably aggressive, but the edge in aggressiveness clearly went towards his opponent, Ysengrin. Cingeto Ysengrin was landing two or three blows for everyone that was attempted by Yujus Gotrekt, and he was doing a decent job of making Gotrekt miss and flop clinch attempts as well.

Just past the one minute point of the fight, Ysengrin landed a back pedaling left jab that seemed to stun Gotrekt; Gotrekt came forward with a body kick attempt, and ran right into a big right hand that put him down. Gotrekt scrambled back to his feet and ate another right hand on his way up; this time, he didn't get back up. Cingeto Ysengrin def. Yujus Gotrekt via KO (Punch) at 1:27 of round 1.

(Featherweight Division) Chris Cross versus Ethan Harris

Round 1Chris Cross was doing an admirable job of getting in with a punch and getting out before Ethan Harris could tie him up. It became quickly apparent that Harris wanted to clinch- and he did so, on his forth attempt. Against the cage, Ethan Harris would push out some hard standing elbows, and then grapple Cross up to prevent him from retaliating.

Cross scored a pulled guard and Harris jumped right back to his feet. Suddenly, Chris Cross was looking for a takedown rather than punches, and Harris was just looking to clinch against the cage. Ethan Harris dominated the remainder of this round by avoiding the ground battles, and forcing the clinch whenever Cross got too close.

Round 2As Chris Cross slowed in this round, Ethan Harris picked up the pace and started to out strike the man on the feet. Cross would attempt a takedown and the two would wind up clinched with Harris landing short shots. However, on the ground Cross would do pretty well when he was able to keep the fight there. Still, another solid round for Harris.

Round 3This was the first complete shut out round, with Ethan Harris annihilating Chris Cross with elbows from the clinch. Completely one-sided shut out victory for Harris. Chris Cross def. Ethan Harris via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

(Lightweight Division) Virgil Dreesen versus Nerve Agent Vx

Round 1 – Nerve Agent Vx was hyper aggressive in the early goings, but anyone that has faced Dreesen before would tell you that you are playing with fire by going down that route. Virgil Dreesen mostly played the defensive early on, and seemed to be timing Agent Vx's attacks. As Nerve Agent Vx came forward with a punch, Dreesen nailed him with a head kick! Agent Vx staggered and Dreesen was all over him! He landed a hard uppercut that almost put Vx down for the count!

Nerve Agent Vx backed up against the cage, looking to recover, but Dreesen tagged him with a pair of hard body kicks, followed by a leg kick, followed by a hard right hand that put Nerve Agent Vx down and out! Brutal victory for Virgil Dreesen! Virgil Dreesen def. Nerve Agent Vx via KO (Punch) at 0:49 of round 1.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Mack Bolan versus Ryan Reeves

Round 1 – Ryan Reeves pushed forward straight out of the gate, landing punches seemingly at will. Mack Bolan responded by tying Reeves up and forcing a clinch. Ryan Reeves dominated from that position as well, landing hard knees to the face and body. The entirety of this round was spent against the cage with Reeves hammering Bolan.

Round 2 – Ryan Reeves pushed forward once again, following a leg kick into the clinch. By the end of this round, a battered and bloody Mack Bolan had to be assisted to his stool by his cornermen; another clear round for Reeves.

Round 3 – A seemingly revitalized Mack Bolan forced Reeves back against the cage and worked him over for the entirety of this round. Bolan started to dominate finally, battering Reeves with punches, knees, and elbows. By the end of the round, both men were exhausted, Bolan was bleeding profusely, and the two warriors embraced in a quick hug as the buzzer sounded. Ryan Reeves def. Mack Bolan via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).

(Heavyweight Division) Rutger Snabel versus Joe Louis

Round 1 – This opening round was pretty close; both men were landing shots, although Snabel did receive a pretty bad cut on the bridge of his nose. It would be really hard to judge who won this round.

Round 2 – As Rutger Snabel pushed forward with some punches, Joe Louis caught him with a lunging uppercut just as Snabel ducked under! Snabel went down! Joe Louis dove on top to finish, hammering away with short punches, but Snabel somehow survived! Snabel tried to push free and stand up, but Joe Louis kept him trapped below.

Rutger Snabel was bleeding badly from his shattered nose. Joe Louis hammered away at him with ground and pound as he fought to isolate an arm and submit his opponent here.

Round 3 – Rutger Snabel opened with some jabs, and Joe Louis responded with a jab of his own; it landed right on the already pancaked nose of Snabel. Both men were landing punches with lethal intentions, but Joe Louis seemed to be doing the most damage with each lunging blow that he landed. Snabel went for a head kick and Louis clocked him with a left-right combination that dropped him! Joe Louis once again jumped on him, looking to finish! Joe Louis mounted him and hamered away with bombs from the top position! Rutger Snabel covered up and the referee rushed in to stop the fight! Joe Louis def. Rutger Snabel via TKO (Strikes) at 1:23 of round 3.

[Main Card]

(Welterweight Division) Tre Spar versus Yang Terbaik

Round 1 – Tre Spar cornered Yang Terbaik against the cage early, landing punches and low kicks. Terbaik threw a crescent kick that backed Spar up... Terbaik slipped to the floor in the attempt, but scrambled back to his feet and circled away from the cage. Tre Spar went for an axe kick that missed, and this time it was Spar that stumbled to the ground, getting back to his feet immediately as well. Both men high fived at their display of flopped head kick attempts. Tre Spar attempted a low kick but Terbaik slipped to the side and landed a monster roundhouse kick right on the side of the head of Tre Spar!

Tre Spar shrugged it off and smiled, but he definitely felt the power of that kick. Tre Spar tried to clinch suddenly, confirming the belief that he didn't enjoy that kick; as Terbaik pushed away from the clinch, Tre Spar nailed him with a left hook that crumpled him to the canvas! Tre Spar backed up, ushering Yang Terbaik to his feet. Back in the center of the cage, Spar lunged in with an uppercut that put Yang Terbaik down and out!

In his post fight speech, Tre Spar said, “I'd like to thank my opponent, the fans, Dick Hardwood and Hoarse Whisperer here at Epicity Productions for the opportunity. Also everyone at Bobby B's.

Tre Spar def. Yang Terbaik via KO (Punch) at 0:30 of round 1.

(Welterweight Division) Tyrone Biggums versus DeMarcus DeSilva

Round 1 – With a tremendous amount of buzz filling the arena in anticipation of this bout, the two black belts met in the center of the cage and traded power strikes, much to the delight of the audience in attendance. DeSilva seemed to be getting the better of the standup, as he worked beautiful counter strikes from the outside. One minute in, he scored with a double leg takedown, spinning Biggums to the floor, landing in side control!

Not one to be controlled, Tyrone Biggums regained half guard, and the two submission wizards battled for position. After failing with a pair of submission attempts, DeSilva settled on just punching Biggums from the top position, looking to break his guard and pass to mount. Biggums responded by threatening with an arm lock, and instead slipped his leg free and retained full guard.

DeSilva worked the ground and pound from guard, and Biggums trapped an arm, throwing up his legs for a triangle choke! DeSilva stood, escaped the choke, and threw Biggums' legs to the side, landing back in side control! DeSilva started hammering away at the obviously frustrated Tyrone Biggums from side control.

DeSilva tried to force an Americana, but Biggums defended appropriately. DeSilva attempted a kimura, but gave it up quickly. Just as the round seemed to be over, DeMarcus DeSilva locked in an arm triangle choke and squeezed down on it! Tyrone Biggums tried to wait out the round and hold on, but his face was turning bright purple! The referee moved the arm of Biggums, saw that he was unconscious, and stopped the fight with five seconds to go! DeMarcus DeSilva def. Tyrone Biggums via Submission (Arm Triangle) at 4:55 of round 1.

(Lightweight Division) Delphino Atlantis versus Julius Octavius

Round 1 – Delphino Atlantis was easily out striking Julius Octavius in the early goings, and followed it up with a counter takedown (off of a failed takedown from Octavius), landing in guard. Atlantis tried fruitlessly to pass the guard to the resounding boos of the audience in attendance, and finally the referee stood them up, which received some cheers.

Both men landed some shots and this time Octavius scored a takedown into side control. Atlantis managed to sneak a leg under and get back to half guard. As Octavius worked to pass the guard, Atlantis slid out the side and took his back! The remainder of the round saw Atlantis hammering away at the sides of the head of Octavius while trying to sneak his arm under the chin.

Round 2 – Delphino Atlantis was landing kicks early and often here. He scored a counter takedown into half guard, rolling almost immediately for an arm triangle, but nothing came of it. Octavius tried to escape and instead took the back of Atlantis in an eery recreation of the end of the first round! Octavius was landing hammer fists to the head of Atlantis! After several minutes of struggle, Atlantis caught Octavius napping and broke the hooks, rolling into guard on top! Atlantis passed easily into side control, but Octavius got back to half guard just as easily. Still, the remainder of the round saw Delphino Atlantis on top in half guard raining down punches.

Round 3 – Atlantis scored a takedown straight into guard immediately! Octavius worked for a triangle choke with nothing behind it. Octavius was working the high guard as Atlantis leaned in close. As Octavius lost his guard control, Atlantis passed into side control! Octavius swiveled him back into full guard. Atlantis landed some short punches on Octavius.

Delphino Atlantis threatened with some sort of submission hold and instead passes the guard straight into full mount! Delphino Atlantis postured up with two minutes remaining and started hammering away at the face of Julius Octavius! Octavius seemed to be hurt off of those big elbows coming down! With virtually no time left in the fight and two dominant rounds behind him, Delphino Atlantis rolled for a last minute arm bar and got it!

In his post fight interview, Delphino Atlantis gave a big smile as he said “This opponent was rather weak, his ancestral line has flaws which have now been removed and reenvisioned in the highest light. I used my slippery dolphin move to slip in there and get her done!

Now, I have no idea what a slippery dolphin move is, but that's pretty fucking funny. Delphino Atlantis def. Julius Octavius via Submission (Armbar) at 4:57 of round 3.

[Co-Main Event]

(Heavyweight Division, Championship bout) Zoey Malone Jr© versus Serder Serderov

Round 1 – Heavyweight Champion of the World Zoey Malone Jr was working the left hook early, landing with absolute ease and simplicity. As Malone pushed forward with a hook to the body, Serderov nailed him with a series of straight lefts and rights. Serderov tried to land another combination, and Malone nailed him with a straight shot to the body. Malone landed more hooked punches and Serderov forced the clinch.

Against the cage, Serderov was landing hard lefts and rights, and slicing elbows; he opened a cut over the eye of the heavyweight champion. Zoey Malone broke free of the clinch with three minutes left in the round and pushed forward with straight punches, keeping Serderov at bay temporarily. Zoey Malone Jr was really working the left hook and straight shots to the body; his game plan clearly involved getting in, landing some punches, and getting out before Serderov could clinch him up.

All in all it was a pretty evenly matched opening round, with a slight edge in punching volume going to the heavyweight champion.

Round 2 – Serder Serderov seemed to come out much more tentative and cautious in this second round and Zoey Malone Jr took the initiative; he pushed forward with more body shots and swinging hooked punches. Near the tail end of the round, Serderov clinched him up once again, and both guys landed one or two punches before the final buzzer sounded. Likely another close round for the champion here.

Round 3 – As this round commenced, Serderov was missing more than he was landing; Malone was working those left hooks and right hands to the body with biblical dedication. Two minutes in, Malone tagged Serderov with a straight left hand that stunned him! Malone pushed forward with a right uppercut and Serderov went down! Malone dove into mount on top and finished with a series of hard power punches, forcing the stoppage! Zoey Malone Jr made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying “I couldn't be happier winning my first title in such a great organization. Dad, this was for you!”. Zoey Malone Jr def. Serder Serderov via TKO (Strikes) at 2:06 of round 3 to retain the Undisputed Epicity Heavyweight Championship of the World!

[Main Event]

(Welterweight Division) Andy Carroll versus Jeremy Smith

Round 1 – Andy Carroll landed the jab and darted away, avoiding the response. Carroll attempted a left hook, but Jeremy Smith blocked the attempt. Smith tried to counter with a leg kick but was too slow to do so. Carroll attempted another left hook, and this time Smith timed him coming in, landing a counter leg kick. Smith faked a high kick and landed a leg kick instead. Carroll just missed with an overhand right that got the audience “oohing” and “ahhing”. Smith ducked under the left hook from Carroll but got caught with a right hand to the gut. Carroll tagged the seemingly stunned Smith with an uppercut followed by a left hook! Jeremy Smith was in trouble early! Jeremy Smith landed a big right hand and danced away on rubbery legs.

Jeremy Smith pushed forward with a slapping leg kick and Andy Carroll caught him with a big uppercut, sending Smith staggering back before falling face first to the floor. The referee stopped the fight but Smith was already out cold! Andy Carroll def. Jeremy Smith via KO (Punch) at 0:50 of round 1 to win our main event of the evening!

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Charlie Cosades versus Sam Talbert

(Preview)

Charlie Cosades is a veteran of thirteen professional fights, including for the BEEF promotion, for NYFN, and for the Legendary Fighters Championship. He utilizes an effective combination of Muay Thai and wrestling to stop opponents.

In his most recent bouts, he was stopped by both Boogie Knight and Alex Rodriguez in both of his Epicity showings.

Sam Talbert is a veteran of twenty-one MMA bouts, with the majority of them taking place in the Silent Fighting Championship; however, he has fought for other, smaller shows in the past as well. Talbert briefly held the MuscleWorks Fight Club light-heavyweight championship; although he never technically lost the title, he never competed for that promotion again, and thus never got the opportunity to defend his belt.

This fight will be his Epicity debut.

(Welterweight Division) Jeremy Jenkins Jr versus Bubba Gracie

Jeremy Jenkins Jr is a man that I have worked with several times in the past. He is an excellent submission fighter that holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Four of his five victories have come via submission, and he has never been stopped on the ground. I first worked with him back in the Ulimate Pit Fighting promotion, where he submitted Alex Gonzales.

JJ Jr has also competed in the TWGC grappling competition, where two times he has fought his way into the second round of the qualifier, only to be decision'd out in that round.

Within Epicity, Jenkins has defeated Ricky Marx and Jose Antonio Camacho, with his only loss coming to Andy Barclay.

Bubba Gracie is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt and submission stud as well. Under his former management team, he fought exclusively for Death Squad MMA; he earned a record of seven victories and six defeats in that time, putting on some very impressive showings in the process. Gracie parted ways with his long time management, and competed twice in the QFC as a free agent.

Under this new team, he has signed to fight for Epicity Productions, and will be making his debut against Jenkins.

(Middleweight Division) George Baba versus Jaime Alvarez

(Preview)

George Baba is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt and a regular here at Epicity Productions. After going undefeated across his first four fights, he signed to fight for Epicity Productions, winning three times in dramatic and impressive fashion. Unfortunately, Baba has become somewhat of a gatekeeper recently in his career, with three consecutive defeats against some of the very best in the middleweight division: Dale McCann, Walter Black, and Leiro Nayr all hold victories over him now. Holding a victory over the talented George Baba has become the keynote among top contenders in the Epicity middleweight division.

Jamie Alvarez is looking to add his name to the growing list of elite fighters to have defeated George Baba. However, Alvarez has a very similar style to Baba; he is capable of throwing hands, but leans heavily on his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu base (he is a brown belt as well) to defeat opponents with a submission. He has fought primarily in the QFC and in the Gamasi Fighting Championship, to very mixed results.

In his Epicity debut, Jamie Alvarez submitted Wesley Denson in the opening round.

(Middleweight Division) Harrison Yates (8-0) versus Donnie Datsik (2-2)

(Preview)

Harrison Yates is an undefeated middleweight prospect currently fighting for the Epicity Productions show. He is a veteran of Barbarian FC and Impact MMA, with his most recent three fights coming under the Epicity banner. Despite winning all of his fights in impressive fashion, Harrison Yates has gone through two management teams prior to the one he is affiliated with now.

Within Epicity, Harrison has stopped Greg Smith, decision'd John Hoop, and knocked out Ben Simpson.

Donnie Datsik is a kick boxing/wrestling hybrid that has won every-other one of his four professional MMA fights. Within Epicity Productions, he has been defeated via decision against Donnie Felterbush, and stopped Dick Stern.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Bray Wyatt versus Kocoa Ebone

(Preview)

Bray Wyatt is an undefeated striker that has competed in a plethora of MMA productions, opting to fight out shorter contracts, rather than sign exclusively to one promotion. He has fought for the Honor Fighting Championship, Troid, and Insanity MMA, winning all of his bouts via stoppage due to strikes.

Until recently, he was affiliated with Grant Brophy's management team, but has recently switched to new management.

Kocoa Ebone is likewise undefeated across six matches, with the opening four fights happening in the QFC arena. Unlike his opponent, however, he has fought twice for Epicity Productions, with stoppage victories over Mack Bolan and Ruarc Harris along the way.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Frank Dozer (8-2) versus Lars Hagen (11-5-2)

(Preview)

Frank Dozer is a two time Epicity Productions light-heavyweight title challenger. Before his days of fighting for Epicity, Dozer competed in the QFC, Hilo Fighting Championship, and world combat fighting championship. With five consecutive fights under his hat, he signed to fight at EP 6, defeating Boogie Knight. His next fight was against former champion Berry Bubberman for the lightweight title. After falling victim to a TKO in the second round, Dozer went on to win two dominant unanimous decisions.

Back at the top of the rankings, Frank Dozer once again challenged for the Epicity title; this time, he would be facing Urho Berserk. After being badly rocked by a head kick from Berserk, Frank Dozer returned fire with a head kick of his own, putting the champion on his back. Frank Dozer followed him to the ground, stalling out the remainder of the round on top. Back on their feet, the remainer of the fight went towards Urho Berserk, who played it a bit more careful to avoid the heavy punching power of Dozer.

Lars Hagen is a veteran of the Hilo Fight League, where he competed seventeen times. Before that, under his former management team, he competed for the Crucible Fights league. During the prime of his career, Hagen went on an impressive seven fight winning streak comprised of five stoppages.

In his most recent appearance, Lars Hagen defeated Boogie Knight via unanimous decision at EP 23.

(Middleweight Division) Leiro Nayr versus Kshitij Singh Negi

(Preview)

Leiro Nayr is a former professional boxer that was inspired to make the move to MMA, having seen the success of other boxers in the sport. He started training at the Vendetta Elite Gym, where he improved his ground fighting skills and clinchwork.

He started fighting for MadDogs MMA, a Hilo based promotion. With three victories under his belt, he signed to fight exclusively for Hostility MMA. It was there that he earned two shots at the light-heavyweight champion, falling short on both occasions. With a Hostility record of 4-3, he moved on to Epicity Productions.

In Epicity, he faced a true killer's row of up-and-comers in Ho Chi Min, John Hoop, and Ben Simpson, losing on all three occasions. However, we have seen him find much more favorable results in fights with Wesley Denson, and most recently with George Baba.

Kshitij Singh Negi is an Afghanistan based mixed martial arts fighter. He specializes in Muay Thai; specifically the clinching aspects of it. His knees and elbows from the clinch are among the best of any striker in the company.

He has fought heavily for Death Squad MMA and Honor FC; he challenged for the Honor title twice, claiming in in his second attempt. After failing to successfully defend his strap, he soon found himself challenging for the Pomplinestine FC middleweight title, but the fight was stopped due to a cut over Negi's left eye.

In Epicity, Negi defeated Travis Davies in his promotional debut, but fell victim to the wrath of former amateur boxer Dale McCann.

(Featherweight Division, Championship bout) Carlos Beltran (7-3) versus Garry Bitters (12-6)

This fight is for the vacant Epicity Productions Featherweight Championship of the World!

Carlos Beltran is a new edition to the Epicity family, having been signed by Epicity Productions at the birth of the young featherweight division. He is a veteran of the GAMMA sponsored Kids of MMA promotion, where he collected a 2-1 record before moving on to Valhalla: New York to compete. Once again going 2-1, Beltran moved on to the Hostiliy Fighting Championship, winning twice decisively. Having won his last four fights, Carlos Beltran moved to the New Era Extreme promotion, fighting a one-off against Vincent Oketch, winning via unanimous decision.

In his most recent appearance, Carlos Beltran attempted to claim the vacant Le Grande lightweight championship. His opponent was undefeated top contender Akeen Coker; despite being badly rocked in the second round, Beltran would nearly survive to go the distance, ultimately falling victim to a TKO with two seconds left in the fight.

Garry Bitters is the former Insanity MMA Featherweight Champion of the world. Despite losing his title in his very first defense attempt, Bitters would fight for Insanity a dozen times. After three consecutive victories early this year, Gary Bitters would part ways with his long time management team.

Bitters defeated Jason Mewes at TMC Round 1. After losing two consecutive fights, Gary Bitters rebounded in his most recent fight, in a unanimous decision victory over Rodney Carney at Insanity 86.

(Middleweight Division) Dale McCann (16-10) versus Troy Powers (14-2-1)

(Preview)

Dale McCann is a former amateur boxer with a storied career; he was a golden gloves champion that was considered by many to be a promising prospect. He won several unofficial titles, including an award for amateur of the year. After suffering the loss of his father, who served as his head coach and mentor, Dale retired from professional combat.

Dale McCann joined the expanding universe of mixed martial arts combat, having sparred regularly with Jack Daniels and Ivan Priebcko in anticipation of his debut. After pairing up with legendary fight manager Frank King, McCann became a regular headliner for the BEEF fighting league. Despite retaining his incredible boxing prowess, McCann had picked up a new habit since his old days in the squared circled: once he was struck, he would drop his defenses in order to hit back. During his prime as a boxer, McCann was known for his legendary chin, but had seemed to lose a step in that department since the glory days.

Despite this, Dale McCann has impressed the powers that be since signing to fight for Epicity Productions. After going on a five fight winning streak, including wins over Stefan Kung and George Baba, McCann challenged Dominick De Struicao for the middleweight championship. McCann would stand toe-to-toe and brawl with the young champion, with his propensity to stand in the pocket inevitably costing him the fight.

Coming off of a loss, you might have expected him to dial it back a bit, but you would be wrong; he traded power punches with the impossibly named Kshitij Singh Negi, an Afghani kick boxer. After dominating the opening round with his punches, McCann stopped Negi with a leaping superman punch, much to the delight of the fans in attendance.

There is a great buzz about the return of the golden boy, Dale “Mac” McCann, to the cage.

Troy Powers is a former two time Death Squad MMA welterweight champion, and REVO top contender. Some say that Powers has lost a step since he changed management teams, but he would disagree with you; his second world title came under new management, and he has shown flashes of that old striking prowess. Samir Kahric would certainly attest to the dangers of fighting Troy Powers.

In his most recent appearance, Powers was defeated by Jerry Seinfeld at EP 23. Sources close to Powers indicate that fighting at the higher weight class meant he needed to make some adjustments that he had not made quite yet. They went on to assure us that Troy Powers is ready and that he looks forward to defeating McCann early in their fight.

(Welterweight Division, Championship bout) Bobby Shamrock (18-6) versus Lotus Suzinuki© (15-6)

(Preview)

Lotus Suzinuki is the linear Epicity Productions welterweight champion of the world. He claimed his championship title off of a hard right hand on DeMarcus DeSilva; fights with Jeremy Smith and Tyrone Biggums provided him the opportunity to defend his belt, which he did with astonishing efficiency.

Lotus Suzinuki started his career at Warzone 21, where he stopped Anders Breivik in the opening round of the fight. Soon after, Lotus faced the first real test of his career against Cao Cao, a talented striker with excellent ground defenses. Their fight was a grueling war of attrition, with Cao coming out on top via majority decision.

Lotus rebounded from the loss with a string of victories, including a split decision victory over future Insanity MMA champion Jozef Beast. Lotus would continue to perform against peak opponents, but would once again taste defeat; this time, he was stopped for the first time in his career, when he faced elite striker Jacob Holm. Lotus would only win two of his next five fights, and would subsequently part ways with his management team.

Fans and pundits alike wrote Lotus Suzinuki off as another failed prospect; however, one month later he would once again appear on the MMA scene, at EP 7. Under new management, and seemingly filled with newfound motivation, Lotus dominated his debut opponent, winning a unanimous decision. Despite dominating Andy Barclay in his EP debut, the Las Vegas fans were not impressed with this supposed legend of the sport.

That all changed at EP 12; DeMarcus DeSilva was considered one of the top ground fighters going into his match with Suzinuki. DeSilva was a former QFC Tournament champion and a fan favorite due to his aggressive fighting style. The two fighters dominated one round each; both were fired up and ready going into the third and final round. Thirty-five seconds later, Lotus Suzinuki stood above his unconsciosu foe, celebrating himself to the sound of the cheering audience.

The fans were hooked; Lotus Suzinuki was fast becoming a household name. His next fight would send his popularity skyrocketing. Jeremy Smith was known for his elite striking, his excellent defensive ground skills, and for his extraordinary ability to talk trash with the best of them. Smith was a former professional boxer with a storied career of his own. His antics in and out of the ring had made him a cult hero among casual and die hard fans. The promotional week leading up to their fight was legendary; both men were extremely vocal about their chances against the other, and the fans ate it up.

Despite the trashtalk and promotional work being an even split, the actual fight was somewhat more one-sided, with Jeremy Smith dominating the opening two rounds of the fight. Lotus Suzinuki rebounded in the third with a head kick that altered his fortune and brought him back into the fold. Smith staggered and Suzinuki swarmed on him, finishing the fight with a brutal barrage of punches to retain his championship title.

In his most recent appearance, Lotus Suzinuki faced Tyrone Biggums, a truly elite ground fighter. His wrestling chops were the best that Suzinuki had ever faced, and Biggums proudly wore his Jiu-Jitsu black belt during the promotion aspect of their fight. Tyrone Biggums shocked the world with his dominance in the opening two rounds, controlling the champion on the ground in both frames. Despite staging a minor comeback in the third round, Suzinuki found himself down three rounds to one by the time the final frame started. Suzinuki fought like his life depended on it in those final five minutes, rocking Biggums with the same sledgehammer of a head kick that stopped Jeremy Smith. Biggums managed to stay on his feet, but was on rubbery legs as Suzinuki swarmed on him with punches, forcing the stoppage.

In his post-fight speech, Lotus Suzinuki asked for a nickname. I thought back to a movie I saw as a child, and the name sounded perfect. Lotus Suzinuki, as a champion, has been tested by some truly top level competition, and has lost more rounds than he has won. Despite these trials and tribulations, Suzinuki has always comeback to stop his opponent. He is truly The Comeback Kid.

Bobby Shamrock is the next name on the growing list of elite competitors to step up and challenge the king for his crown. Fighting out of Hilo, Hawaii by way of Dublin, Ireland, Shamrock is a top level sprawl and brawl stylist, although he is more than capable of using ground and pound from the top position.

Bobby Shamrock made his professional MMA debut at the GAMMA sponsored event titled GAMMA: Con #12. The promoter was The Kids of MMA, a show he would fight for a total of five times, with only one defeat. Next he would fight nine times for HONOR Fighting Championship; he would defeat three former or future world champions during that time, including Markus Vinicius, Ljuti Hrcak, and Walter Bishop. His third HFC fight was against Rock Lee for the title; despite being defeated in the third round, Shamrock put forth an admirable effort that earned him the respect of the MMA community.

Bobby Shamrock signed to fight for the Hilo Fighting Championship next. In his promotional debut, he faced former Ultimate Pit Fighting welterweight champion Ronald Rousey (whom I promoted during his championship tenure I might add). With his win over Rousey, Shamrock was two fights into his soon-to-be eight fight winning streak. During that time, he would claim the Hilo Fight Welterweight Championship with a knockout victory over Sergey Panikov, would defend it from Omar Boulami, and would unfortunately lose it to Viktor Krum. With one fight left on his contract, Bobby decided to take some time off to make some adjustments, following his next bout. That fight would amount to a two minute beating of Nelly Haynes.

One month later, Bobby Shamrock burst back onto the scene with a first round knockout over Lewis Scott at Epic Fight Night 1. With this impressive showing, his charisma with the fans, and his incredible resume, Shamrock has more than earned his third crack at a world championship.

EP 26: Essence of Excellence was a mixed martial arts event held by Epicity Productions, in conjunction with the world famous Vendetta fighting alliance on May 16, 2015. This production took place at the jam packed Wandalay Bay events center in front of nearly twelve-thousand fans in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

[The Prelims]

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Charlie Cosades versus Sam Talbert

Round 1 – Charlie Cosades opened this round circling on the outside, foring Sam Talbert to chase him with strikes. Despite his early blows missing, Talbert kept pushing forward, looking to land something. Talbert would miss a strike, and Cosades would try to land the right hand in retaliation. However, Talbert kept once step ahead throughout this round.

Round 2 – Sam Talbert was really piling on the punches in this round. He was pumping the jab early but started mixing in right hands and uppercuts as well. For his part, Charlie Cosades wanted to counter with a big right hand, but would hit nothing but air on the rare moment that he actually threw a shot. Cosades wanted to counter his way inside, but Talbert had a big speed advantage on him, which made it a monumental task.

Round 3 – A big part of the problem for Cosades is that he counters with combination attempts. I think he landed one counter combination in this fight, with little success on anything that he attempted. Sam Talbert dominated him ni this round with straight punches, and just kept circling away from harm each time. This was a complete domination for Talbert. Sam Talbert def. Charlie Cosades via Unanimous Decision (30-25, 30-25, 30-25).

(Welterweight Division) Jeremy Jenkins Jr versus Bubba Gracie

Round 1 – Bubba Gracie instigated the clinch early and both men started teeing off with short punches in the center of the cage. Jenkins committed to a very deep single leg attempt, but lost the position; Gracie pressed him against the cage and tried to stall. Jenkins was never one to be stalled against; he circled around and took the back of Bubba Gracie, throwing him into the air and slamming him to the mat! Jenkins took his back with two hooks in and a battle for arm control ensued! Jenkins was pushing very hard for the rear choke, but Gracie reversed the position and landed himself in guard on top!

Jeremy Jenkins Jr forced a scramble, getting himself up into a squatting position; Bubba Gracie attempted to push forward to get the fight back to the ground and as he did so, Jenkins wrapped up his neck in a tight, tight, tight guillotine choke! Jenkins pulled guard and squeezed until Gracie tapped out and the referee pulled them apart!

With this victory, Jeremy Jenkins Jr advances up the rankings with three consecutive victories, meanwhile he has snapped the four fight winning streak of Bubba Gracie! Jeremy Jenkins Jr def. Bubba Gracie via Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 1:18 of round 1.

(Middleweight Division) George Baba versus Jaime Alvarez

Round 1 – Jamie Alvarez opened with a spinning back kick that missed by a mile; George Baba feinted with an overhand right but pulled away halfway into it. The fighters reset in the center of the cage and Baba narrowly avoided a body kick from Alvarez. Jamie Alvarez landed a sequence of jabs, opening a cut on the bridge of the nose of Baba.

Alvarez continued to land the jab, and mixed it up with a jab to the body. Alvarez came in with another jab and Baba scored with a looping overhand left punch. As the round progressed, both guys were landing shots, but Alvarez was clearly dominating in the exchanges.

Round 2 – More of the same as Alvarez was landing frequently with straight punches; Baba fired back with some decent counter-strikes, but was having trouble against the pressure of Alvarez. This trend continued until about 1:30 into the round, when Alvarez took a couple of steps back and opened his mouth in a deep breath. Alvarez kept pushing forward after that gasp for air, but his mouth was hanging open. Meanwhile, Baba looked like he hadn't even warmed up fully; Baba started to land with a little more ferocity with each passing second.

Near the end of the round, Alvarez was swinging much more slowly, and George Baba was countering with deadly efficiency; Alavarez threw a right hand, and ate a leg kick... he threw a left-right combination and ate another leg kick for his troubles. George Baba pushed forward with a left hook, went for a right roundhouse kick that missed, but followed through by spinning into a heel kick that momentarily rocked Alvarez. For the remaining seconds of the round, George Baba tee'd off on Jamie Alvarez; who, for his part, wasn't doing much more than defend.

Round 3 – George Baba opened with a left hook and Jamie Alvarez responded with a pair of stiff jabs followed by a two punch combination. Alvarez pushed forward with a left hook to the body, and pumped out two ineffective jabs. Baba responded with a right hand that backed Alvarez up! Baba landed a slapping leg kick and Alvarez pushed forward with a wild series of punches that missed horribly.

George Baba feinted with a leg kick and Alvarez darted forward with a left hook that hit air. George Baba landed with a left hook that dropped Alvarez! The audience was on their feet! Baba waved Alvarez back to his feet. Alvarez pushed forward with a combination of strikes and ate a monster head kick that folded him up like a lawn chair! George Baba def. Jamie Alvarez via KO (Head Kick) at 0:42 of round 3.

(Middleweight Division) Harrison Yates versus Donnie Datsik

Round 1 – Harrison Yates pushed forward very aggressively in this round, keeping Donnie Datsik on the defensive. Datsik was firing back with shots of his own, but most of his best strikes never landed. Yates landed a big head kick that broke the nose of Donnie Datsik. Datsik did land with some retaliatory kicks of his own, but none did the damage to match his opponent's output.

Near the end of the round, Donnie Datsik scored with a double leg takedown, but failed to make it count.

Round 2 – Both guys landed strikes in this round, but I'd have to give the edge in power output to Harrison Yates, who seemed to be a bit more comfortable in there. Donnie Datsik was throwing more shots, but was also missing at a much higher rate.

Round 3 – I don't know what his cornermen said between rounds, but Donnie Datsik really picked up the pace in this final round. Datsik was landing much harder blows, which put Harrison Yates on the defensive in an interesting turn of fates. About one minute in, Datsik scored a decent takedown into the guard of Yates. Datsik held the position and landed ground and pound until the referee stood them back up.

Back on the feet, Datsik kept up his newfound pressure, and landed a monster head kick that put Yates down! Yates scrambled back to his feet but his stance was altered; he was on rubbery legs with wide eyes. Yates pumped out the jab, trying to keep Datsik at bay. Yates stuffed a takedown attempt from Datsik. Datsik slipped a punching combination and took Yates to the ground once again: full guard. Datsik held the position as before, landing shots until the round ended. Harrison Yates won this fight two rounds to one, advancing his undefeated record to nine consecutive victories, four of which have taken place within Epicity Productions. Harrison Yates def. Donnie Datsik via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Bray Wyatt versus Kocoa Ebone

Round 1 – With both of these coming into this fight with six victories and zero defeats, there was a great deal of hype surrounding this fight. It was appropriately placed at the pinnacle of the undercard; the winner would go on to fight on the main card, and the loser would go back to the drawing board.

Kocoa Ebone was having a good bit of success by circling away, only to dart in with a series of straight power punches, dancing out of range before Bray Wyatt could hit him back. Indeed, Kocoa Ebone dominated the opening round with his movement and striking.

Round 2 – More of the same early into this round, as Bray Wyatt tried quite miserably to find a home for his strikes. Kocoa Ebone took over the fight midway through this round, landing power punches at will on his hapless foe.

Round 3 – Bray Wyatt tried to stage a comeback in this round, but just couldn't overcome the obstacle that was presented in Ebone's striking technique. By the end of this round, the gap in the striking output of the two undefeated warriors was so wide that it would be virtually impossible for Wyatt to find his way back into the game. In his victory speech, Kocoa Ebone thanked his sponsor, Grand Champion Apparel. Kocoa Ebone def. Bray Wyatt via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

Hey Jeffrey Miller, where is the big mouth of yours now?

Jeffrey Miller

no problem admitting Schulman was the better fighter tonight. He surprised me with his tactic, i went too much counter in this fight, fearing his takedown and ground game. Didnt expect him to stand and bang with me for the whole fight. Allthough it rained punches on me, i didnt get rocked, he did get rocked, so i expect to take my title back within a few months. Gonna train on my weak points now, it's been clear that my standup is quite great.

But who are you, bigmouth? you are free to call me out, as i'm not the champion any more :)

Just checked your fighter, you're not even in my division anymore. You ran away to the 145 lbs div because you are scared, you lack the skills to be able to step in the ring with me. So you can only put up your big mouth when someone else fights me. Not going to waste anymore time on you. Gotta invest in some training in stead, you should do the same

I was waiting to talk to Hoarse before making an official decision of hammer dropping. I have not gotten a hold of him yet, in the meantime I write fill in and write preview for this weekend and a nice detailed review for the last event that didn't get a preview either.

On behalf of Epicity Productions(basically on behalf of myself) I sincerely apologize for letting our managers down the past couple weeks. Action with be taken, I will fill in the meantime if I do not talk with Hoarse in the immediate future(we have been very close friend in the game) then I will look for a new writer.
