Due to the element of surprise with Malakai's much-improved jujitsu ability, they felt he had a good chance to submit his opponent. Unfortunately he would once again fail. He couldn't transition and improve his position, or stop the relentless ground attack that the undefeated champion would deliver. Despite a couple close submission attempts, Antunes dominated the fight earning another unanimous decision. The loss strung Malakai deep, and he was very disappointed. Malakai entered the fight an underdog, despite having finished Coleman in 27 seconds in their first fight, it was undeniable that Coleman had evolved as a fighter since their last meeting. Malakai would go on to upset the TWGC world and submit the red belt with a Triangle Armbar 10 minutes into the bout. The politics of this move are brilliant & to be expected from a fighter with a crafty manager like CK.
