Yikes, I guess I'm the only one to vote no. I just don't want to see it end up setting you back too far. Of course, I'm not sure how expensive it is, but if there's a ton of hype if you do it up...then go for it full steam ahead.

the real reason id be willing to do this anticlimatic shock-ppv right now is for people to read the latest article written by Wolfenstein, its worth it.

Synchronicity obliterated all previous ratings with their smash-hit card “Alpha”. A massive crowd of over 10,000 pushed, kicked, and fought their way into the Wandalay Bay and for what many are proclaiming, the best show MMA fans have ever seen.

In the Main Event of the evening #1 P4P sensation “Yakuza” Che Satomi was back in action against the outstanding kicking extraordinaire “Grand Zombie” Lombardo Limba. As Yakuza made his way to the cage it was clear that he had been adding some bulk to his frame. The murmurs began amongst the crowd from some overtly speculative fans that Che may be actually looking to compete in the MW division somewhere down the line. Could we possibly see the first ever champ in two different weight classes?

Early on Limba controlled the action, taking the fight into the clinch and working over Satomi with an onslaught of knees, but eventually Satomi took advantage of the clinch and used it to drag Limba to the mat. From there Yakuza put his highly touted BJJ on display, before securing a RNC and defending his WW belt for the 5th consecutive time.

In the co-main event Fionn “Deimne” Mac Cumhall put his MW belt on the line against emerging superstar Mikio “Flame666” Okita. Mikio had been in the mix for a while, but it wasn’t until he reeled off 4 straight victories, and secured a win over top contender Aaron Gracie—that the MMA world begun to take notice.

Fans were treated to an aggressive back and forth grappling war as both exchanged positions, but a slick transition from triangle to armbar sealed the win for Mikio as he forced Cumhall to tap just 4 minutes into the 1st round. Remember folks, this guy is only 19 years of age, so we might not have even seen his best yet.

“Yang” Quik Yin made his return to the cage as one of the first Black Belts in MMATycoon history! The crowd began to chant as the Abu Dhabi champ made his entrance , the pyrotechnics roared to life, on his left and right spewing forth a myriad of sparks that had full grown men cowering underneath their seats—or was it just the stunning appearance of the greatest ground specialist in the game?

“Yang” was in for a war against the determined “Slick” Sam Williams. Although the crowd was looking for a submission, Slick was able to fend them off, but ultimately lost the decision--maybe next time.

In other action..

Fritz Lukens choked veteran Mulat Brutislav into a state of unconsciousness. Fritz has gone through a few setbacks, but once he gets on track he’ll be a nightmare for opponents.

Powerhouse striker “The Missile” San Lucas Mussolini disposed of the well rounded goliath Sathias “Monstar” Pacstan in a shocking 5 seconds via head kick. Wow, who saw that coming? Just to put it in perspective, it took #5 P4P Barack Lesnar 4 rounds to put Sathias away. Of course he didn't have that charismatic "projectile locked" one liners in his artillery.

Talented striker “Bollywood” Bulk Bogan welcomed Japanese superstar Kenta Kobashi. With Cecil Peabody judging, you know both guys were intent on avoiding a potential decision where the scorecards could turn into a circus. Sure enough both fighters came out firing until just over a minute in, Bollywood unleashed a knee that sent Kobashi to the mat. Welcome to Vegas.

Rising star Steve “Rocker” Richards took on highly regarded grappler Thiago Junior. Richards has been on many MMA experts’ radar as a future champ after his hard fought decision over Mike Pointek. He didn’t disappoint as he unleashed a flurry of fists enroute to a sensational GnP finish. I heard they went through 4 flathead shovels to peal Thiago off the mat.

Undefeated MW prospect Lorenzo “First Round Murderer” Dorian held true to his name by submitting well regarded grappler Grind em “Gracie2000” Gracie for his fifth consecutive 1st round submission victory.

Patrick Rowles defeated Atom “Bomb” Atom, despite missing just about everything he threw, the first shot that landed was more than enough to keep Rowles’ undefeated streak alive.

Jin Sen, was on the receiving end of a nasty cut early, but fought back to defeat Bustamante via a picture perfect knee.

Earlier back on the 24th Synchronity put on another great show “Desperation” featuring a ton of upcoming prospects. In the main event wrestling ace Mark “The Dagger” Pace was set against the undefeated “Big” Popeye Mcgrady. Pace was in trouble, and cut early on, but he persevered, locking up a tight triangle. With a little help from the sandman he put Popeye to sleep without so much as a lullaby, but Pace is no Mariah Carey so it may have been to the benefit of us all.

Just around the bend on September 5th Synchronicity will be putting on its 50th event. Hard to believe I know. Get out the party poppers and confetti, and leave the wife at home. Franky is pulling out all the stops. Personally I hope some safety measures are being put into place as there’s enough confetti to fill a football stadium, and enough champagne to intoxicate the entire population of Beijing.

In the main event Che Satomi returns to defend his belt against the oft overlooked Frank “The Rock” Marciano. The title shot has been an elusive dream for Frank, but the blood, sweat, and tears have finally paid off, and now he’ll have his opportunity to shine on the big stage. Will he fold under the pressure, or is this star ready to go supernova, and take our little corner of the galaxy known as Syn City with him? You have to admire the warrior spirit of Satomi, to return to action in such a short period without any hesitation. Their truly is no rest for the wicked.

In the co-main event Barack Lesnar will defend his HW belt against the Ground and Pound phenom Triston “Jail” Baal. Baal seems to be on the fast track, as he is the first fighter to ever come from outside Synchronicity and be granted a title shot in his very first fight. He’ll have his work cut out for him against Lesnar—after all this isn’t his first rodeo, and his fists are loaded with dynamite. Hardcore fans around the world have been begging for it, and Synchronicity is finally making the dream come true.

Word is Synchronicity technicians have working round the clock to reinforce the cage. It has been tested against two full sized rhinoceroses charging simultaneously but when I spoke with one of the lead techs he was less than optimistic, as he had this to say “It don’t matter what we do, she aint’ gonna’ hold em’. I think maybe we’ll clear the arena for this one, because it just aint’ gonna be safe for folks.”

The 3rd title fight of the night will feature “The Mullet” Kid Torres defending his title against Kung Lao. It seems like only yesterday Kung Lao was the #1 FW in the world, but how quickly things turned for the worse after a few losses he was nearly forgotten. Can Kung return to top form? Can the Mullet continue his hot streak to 7 in a row? I can’t wait for this one!

Also on the card Aaron Gracie takes on Jrock Mandela as one veteran looks to battle his way back to the top of the division. Sean Rodey battles Dustin Hayz in a grudge match. Outstanding striker Rob Wood faces off with ultra-talented wrestler Mac Paining. Fan favorite Damien Demented dukes it out with Fenny Klorian. Grappling ace AJ Taylor is set to take on the always dangerous Atom “Bomb” Atom, and much more!

It will be going down at one of the largest stadiums in the world: The MGM Arena. Without a doubt “Syn’ 50: We Are All One” is not to be missed.

Then on September 6th Synchronicity will present Syn’ 51: Breaking the Habit. In the co main event Ivan “The Sandman” Dostojevskij will clash with Pete “BitteR” Cherry. Both fighters have an extremely well rounded game, and there will be many of the higher ups watching this match with keen interest. It’s the kind of matchup that can catapult one’s career from relative unknown to the limelight.

In the Main event newly crowned MW champ Mikio Okita will defend his title for the very first time against the super-confident Lorenzo Dorian. Dorian rocketed up the rankings, and his potential seems unlimited. Will this be his career defining moment? Mikio makes a quick return to put a halt to the hype. Mikio may be getting lost beneath all the hype regarding Che Satomi and Paolo Mendez, but we’re talking about the #1 MW in the world, and #5 P4P fighter on the planet.

Since joining Synchronicity he has been dominating the competition, making top level fighters look silly. Perhaps Mikio is overlooked for his soft-spoken nature, whereas his opponent Dorian has more of a shoot from the hip style in interviews. Some feel that he may have even disrespected Fionn Mac Cumhail. I doubt there will be any love lost in this matchup.

I know one man who will be watching with vested interest—recently Brazilian smack talking superstar Antonio “Assasino” Santiago, the man you want to humble, but just can’t.

Stay tuned for an upcoming exclusive interview with President of Syn' City Franky Sin & possibly other shocking news.

The opponents of Syn will also vote no. So it's not really fair. I say Yes! Let's go Franky.

I am one of his opponents and you are right I voted no, but not for that reason. i want to see the first PPV be a success. I know Franky is close to it, but i would hate to see him lose so much money.

I voted no as well. But it's not really self-serving. The CFC is many, many, many months from being able to do it financially. The first PPV IS going to be Syn or PRIDE. I'm just not certain they're quite to the point yet to pull it off with a high degree of success. I say do it...in early-mid October after a couple more events.

I have an alternative explanation as to why the managers of the other organizations vote no.

I think they are a bit jealous :). They don't allow another organization to have the honor till it's 100% certain that it's going to be a kick ass success. I don't think you guys have to worry about Syn doing bad. He is competition... It's like UFC saying to Strikeforce that they shouldn't have hired Fedor.

Syn has already proven that they can pull a 200+ event. I'm sure that Syn 50 can even top that.
