"Aedan is already drinking himself into oblivion & is too upset to comment on the fight. I know he's extremely disappointed with the referee & how much time Perry was given on the ground when he couldn't advance position nor land many strikes. But also realizes he only has himself to blame for allowing the TD's in the first place & depending on the referee to step in & stand the fight up. We're going to get back to the gym & drill takedown defense and getting to our feet and we'll come back stronger than ever.

I'd like to take this time to congratulate Leslie & Kyrie for a solid performance & wish them the best of luck going forward. On a positive note, we learned Aedan has good confidence which was great news for me particularly as I already have 4 to 5 fighters with 0 confidence on my roster."

Reporter:

Great fight Kyrie. You really pulled off the upset tonight. What do you have to say?

Kyrie:

No knock out in the first round like predicted, but It was a great match I must say on my opponent Aedan part. He is definitely an elite in the middleweight division I would be scared of if I was anyone else. He has crazy skill on the feet, His kicks are VICIOUS, and he never quits. Its a reason why he was a champion. This was a great test for me and my manager Leslie Smith. I am still amazed that this female knows so much about mma.

Reporter:

How did you and your team prepare for this fight?

Kyrie:

We ran a lot of film on Aedan to see if we could find any openings in his game. As always with a undefeated fighter, it is easy to see what he is good at. The hard part was counter acting it. The thing that kept popping up was Aedan has never been in a grappling war for 3 whole rounds and He has never faced anyone like me. I stayed in his face the whole time with my boxing and smothered him with my wrestling. In the end he had no answer for it and I walked away with the win.

Reporter:

Any last words for your opponent?

Kyrie:

Don't take ths lost too hard Aedan. Maybe one day we can have a few sparring sessions together and sharpen each other skills. If not that, we can have a beer or two sometime.

I'm taking over the preview for this week

Kotb 36: Engolir Sapos (Preview)

Joker Leto v Steve Tierney – 155lbs

Two rookies will be clashing in the first fight of the evening. Joker Leto is making his MMA debut. The American training in Tokyo comes from a boxing background, but still looks really green. For his debut he’s fighting one weightclass higher than usualy. He fights one of his gymmates, Steve Tieney from Ireland. Tierney has fought once in his carreer, losing to Deck Chair at “KOTB Challengers 11”. Since he also as a boxing background, this fight should stay on the feet. His experience and size will probably trump Leto though, and that’s why:

Prediction: Tierney

Harvey Dent v Hanzo Changchien – 205lbs
Two guys with both one fight will compete in the next event. Harvey Dent made an amazing debut, knocking out his opponent in 1:31. He has great dirty boxing and a fantastic chin, and should try to get this fight in the clinch. Hiss opponent, Hanzo, comes from a pure wrestling background. In his first fight for KOTB, he took his opponent down and cut him open. Changchien takedowns are near unstoppable, but his groundgame could use some work. Based on previous experiences Dent should get the win, but I’m going with the upset;

Prediction: Changchien

Chong Yeung v Hector Reyes – 265+lbs
Next up are two guys in the SHW-division. Yeung is making his debut here. He is a rather one-dimensional fighter, who will be trying to shoot in from the distance and finish the fight with ground and pound. Reyes is quickly becoming a veteran at KOTB, already going for his fourth fight, even though he has been with the org for a bit over a month. He can both strike and wrestle with the bests. Skillwise, Reyes is far ahead of Yeung, but his cardio doesn’t seem like the best and he looks te be out of shape coming in to this fight. Once again, I predict an upset.

Prediction: Yeung

Ryo Takajiri v Pablo Esposito – 155lbs
Honestly, this should be over quick. Takajiri is the former Division 4 TWGC winner. His grappling is one of the best in the division. That grappling experience hasn’t really translated to mma though. In QFC, he got submission after submission, even hitting one poor fella with a Triple Decker Pecker Wrecker, but since joining KOTB he’s on a three fight losing skid. This fight should change that though. Esposito has lost his last 6 fights. His grappling is really good too, but it seems like the poor soul lacks the drive to fight anymore. I hope he makes weight, cause he’s not looking too good right now.

Prediction: Takajiri

Celio Aravinda v Augusto Azevedo - 135lbs
Next up, two of the lightest guys are set to compete in a rematch. Aravinda is a good boxer with solid bjj, making his debut in the last fight against Azevedo. Azevedo is a KOTB original, fighting all his fights in KOTB. He started his career good, only losing to the champ, Chris Karter, but lately things haven’t been going so smooth. The last fight saw Augusto take down Celio really quick, so we’re probably in for a repeat of that. Azevedo should be able to win this one, but he’ll need to come with a better tactic than last time.

Prediction: Azevedo

Psycho Thrillstompers v Vlad Putin – 170lbs
Thrillstompers vs Putin is another rematch on this card. Putin is Thrillstompers sole loss. After that Thrillstompers won two in a row. Putin was unbeaten till he me Thrillstompers for the first time, but after that got ko’d in just 12 seconds by Dan Howson. Now they meet again. The battle itself is the classic grappler vs striker battle. I think the result will be the same this time.

Prediction: Putin

Peter Pan v Vinicius Costa – 145lbs
Two guys coming of a loss meet in this fight. Pan is the former RSF champion, but couldn’t win in his KOTB debut. Costa has been with KOTB for a bit longer, starting of 2-0, but losing his last match to Randhawa. Costa probably is the more skilled fighter, but I have to go with the experience of Pan.

Prediction: Pan

Lucas Campos v Walood Kassab – 170 lbs
Two fighters going different directions meet. Campos is an incredibly allround fighter, but lately hasn’t been able to get much wins, going 1-3 in his last 4. Kassab however, after a rocky start of his carreer, has managed to win three in a row. Campos should be skilled enough to win where ever it goes, but how much off a hit has his confidence taken after those three losses. That’s why I’m going with;

Prediction: Kassah

Hugo Boss v Mario Barrera – 205lbs
Boss and Barrera are two of the most promising fighters in the lhw division. Boss is a wrestler turned boxer, who excels at using his wrestling base to keep him upright so he can hunt for the KO. He spent most of his career in twisted and immediately picked up a win once he joined KOTB. Barrera is a KOTB native with excellent Muay Thai. The winner of this fight probably only needs one more win to fight for the title. Both fighters prefer to keep the fight at range, so we’ll see what prevails, Boss’ boxing or Barrera’s kickboxing.

Prediction: Boss

Sandu Lungu v Harry Milne – 265+lbs
And with that we arrived at the main even of the evening. On one side we have the Hall Of Famer, the former champion, Lungu. Lungu looked unstoppable as champion, but Tito Griffin has beaten him twice in a row, and now he’s looking to get back on track to another title shot. He’ll have to go through Milne though. Milne is an excellent grappler, but really has been working on his striking in the last months, and he might be able to go strike for strike with the former champ. It’s a risk, but I’m going for the upset once again.

Prediction: Milne

Sandu "Big Bear" Lungu

And I emerge again like a big fat fenix from my shit. I'm very happy that I stoped the lossing streak, even if both losses came to the current champ. Even if I lost to Tito, the fans still love me and they showed the respect for me in my post fight speach. Looking forward to get back into the gym and become even better. And I'm glad I proved the writer wrong betting on my opponent. I may have lost to Tito, but I will not be counted out, whenever I will have a fight.

"Morte" Vinicius Costa (3-1):

(In broken English)

"What!? A headkick knockout can't get KOTN but a TKO gets it? I call it besteira! It's so unfair just because I am not the main event guy. But I am a prospecto! I am the futuro campeão! Boss, you owe me an award! "

Psycho Thrillstompers: So much for critics, and predictions. I had Putin tapping out in the first round. Now the KotB brass hasn't even opted to resign me, even though the guys I beat are all still under contract! Kind of suspicious; but I've got a few sweet offers from other orgs, some of them right here in Rio. We will see if KotB decides to send me an offer before they decide anything. I've still got a lot of arms and ankles to twist there.

Congratulations on the win, I had a feeling that other guy was just all talk. But now you step into the cage with a rabid beast that is gonna shred your face like something that shreds faces.

Kyrie Perry:

Yeah, Aedan is a phenomenal opponent, but I am just on another level. You will be next to figure out Melendez. I know everything you are capable of and prepared to turn your strengths to weaknesses. Like I said before I am your kryptonite.

All in all, I respect the shit out of you Melendez. You have been the champ in the hardest division for over a year and made it look easy. That is what makes this fight all the much sweeter. You are the hardest opponent I have ever faced. I wouldnt want it any other way for my first title fight. When I beat you, I will be that much closer to being the greatest middleweight ever to fight under the KOTB banner.

KOTB 37: Cerveja (Preview)

Featherweight

Alex "Machine Gun" Rivera (1-1-0, 0-1-0 KOTB) vs. "The Kimura King" Tyrone Van Der Berg (3-1-0, 0-1-0 KOTB)

The first fight of the night will welcome back two struggling 26 year olds as they both aim to bounce back from recent defeats, and the one that fails to do so could possibly his career in jeopardy. In the red corner we have Alex Rivera, a fairly small fighter for this weight-class and he reportedly only cuts a few pounds in order to make weight. However, his build does not take away from the fact that he is a powerhouse, possessing a tough to crack chin as well as the ability to knock people out stiff. His opponent Tyrone Van Der berg is a very different fighter to how he is, as "Van Der Berg" is complete grappler, with his main strength being his Wrestling. If the fight is kept on the feat, "Machine Gun" has the advantage due to his superb Boxing. However, if the fight see's its way to the floor, "The Kimura King" will have the upper-hand and would likely scramble to find the submission victory. Both of these two men will need the victory in order to pick their careers back up, and a spectacular win could have people talking about them once more.

Featherweight

Cale "The Doberman" Downes (6-9-0, 0-2-0 KOTB) vs. Monster Machine (1-1-0, 1-1-0 KOTB)

Another Featherweight battle is set to take place as the second fight of the night will see the return of Serbian Cale Downs and Rio's own Monster Machine. "The Doberman" is a grappler, and has earned all of his victories by means of submission although he has yet to demonstrate his Brown belt capabilities within the King of the Beach cage. Machine on the other hand is a striker, which his main discipline being Muay Thai although his grappling skills should not be overlooked as he possesses strong Wrestling as well as a Purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It is important for Cale Downes to be the victor this evening as a losing streak of four could prove a devastating bump in (or conclusion to) his MMA career. Machine has slightly less pressure on his shoulders as he saw success in his previous bout where he defeated Marcus Vinicius after going the distance. Both men are incredibly young and could have a long career ahead of them, but for that to come to life they will have to play their cards right.

Super-Heavyweight

Bruce "The Great" Zimbardo (7-5-0, 5-5-0 KOTB) vs. Mike Kina (2-3-0, 1-3-0 KOTB)

The first of four Super-Heavyweights fights will welcome back loyal King of the Beach veteran Bruce Zimbado as he prepares to battle the struggling American, Mike Kina. Since impressing everyone on the company's very first event with a head-kick Knockout, Zimbardo went on to have what could be called a roller-coaster career, having celebrated a number of victories as well as suffering an equal amount of defeats. Unfortunately for Mr. Kina, he has mainly experienced setbacks as he has lost his past two bouts in a row, and his current company record has seen better days as of late. Zimbardo will want to showcase his spectacular Muay Thai abilities when the two clash as he poses the extremely distinct advantages when it comes to the stand-up game. It really is a mystery as to what Mike Kina will want to do for this fight as he has a varied skill-set yet does not appear to be strong in any particular discipline. Unless this fight see's an unlikely upset, I would imagine that "The Great" will earn his sixth company victory, turning his record into a positive one.

Middleweight

Bruce "The Hoodlum" Lee (4-2-0, 2-2-0 KOTB) vs. Joe Lewis (0-0-0, 0-0-0 KOTB)

Up next we will witness the clash of two reincarnated Martial Arts veterans as the Chinese Bruce Lee is set to face off against proud American, Joe Lewis. Hungry to get his name back in the win column after losing two consecutive fights, Lee will aim to use his superb boxing skills as his main weapon this evening. No stranger to a striking exchange is Lewis as his foundations can also be found in Boxing, where he reportedly possesses abilities stronger than his opponent. "The Hoodlum" is known for throwing nothing but wild combinations, which could ultimately lead to his downfall as it is certain that his opponent is well aware of his habit. As Lewis is making his MMA debut it is unclear how he will perform this evening, and all of us at King of the Beach wish him a long and successful career.

Light-Heavyweight

Dre "Mamba" Adams (3-1-0, 2-1-0 KOTB) vs. Julius "Steel" Bennett (3-2-1, 2-2-0 KOTB)

The first and only Light-Heavyweight fight of the night will feature two tough Americans as Dre Adams is scheduled to clash with Julius Bennett. Adams is a Boxer, who likes to keep the fight standing and away from the clinch where he can unload a variety of strikes, to both the head and body of his opponent as well as bundling them into vicious combos. It is worth noting that his power is suspect as he has yet to earn a finish, with all of his victories coming from a Unanimous Decision. Bennett has a very similar skill-set to "Mamba" with his primary discipline being Boxing too, although he is never shy to take the fight to the clinch. Also unlike his opponent, Bennett's punching power has been proven as his record details a number of devastating Knockout wins. On-lookers can expect this fight to remain on the feet where both men will slug it out with neither even thinking of utilising a takedown, as sparks will fly. Like a few fighters before them this evening, these two will need to claw their way back into the win column in order to help write off their recently suffered setbacks.

Bantamweight

Gabriel FalleN (3-0-0, KOTB DEBUT) vs. Sanalya "Kolmuk" Kashka (2-0-0, KOTB DEBUT)

Company management would like too welcome two new additions to our beloved Bantamweight division as Gabriel FalleN and Sanalya Kashka will be stepping into the King of the Beach cage for the very first time - a feeling to remember. FalleN has racked up an impressive streak of Knockout victories in the QFC since bursting into the MMA scene, where he caught the eye of our company's scout. With a similar start to his career, Kashka snagged himself two submission victories using his greater-than-average grappling skills and has yet to face defeat. The heavy hands of Gabriel could prove to be an issue for "Kolmuk" as it has been his main weapon in past bouts, where he has even managed to crack the diamond chin of an opponent because of it. FalleN will want to keep the fight standing where he can showcase his raw power and Boxing prowess. Kashka will want to fight a very different game to the Brazilian Boxer as he will want to drag the fight to the mat where he possesses the advantages, and he can then work towards earning a third submission victory in his short MMA career. A win for either man will be a great start to their journey in our company!

Super-Heavyweight

Buster "Parrot" Napoleon (4-0-0, KOTB DEBUT) vs. "The Demolition Man" Tyson Dux (5-1-0, KOTB DEBUT)

Like the fight scheduled before it, this one will also introduce two fresh faces as undefeated former SFC contender Buster Napoleon will face off against the Canadian terror Tyson Dux. Napoleon has been a name on many people's tongues since signing with the organisation as fans and pundits alike are interested in how he will fair in one of the company's most competitive divisions. Also an exciting prospect is Dux as his first KOTB appearence has been one to look forward to, with people equally as eager to see how he will perform. Although being a fairly well-rounded fighter, Napoleon's strengths lay in his Boxing offence and Wrestling defences, coupled with the extremely tough chin that he possesses. "The Demolition Man"'s nickname rings true as his fantastic striking abilities have been the key to his successes inside of the octagon, with all of his victories coming by means of Knockout. Both men are young and incredibly skilled so it will be interesting to see which one of them manages to play the game right, and end the night with a victory on their company debut. Napoleon is undefeated, and Dux has suffered one loss on his record although it is worth noting that it did come from a doctor stoppage due to a cut, so his chin has yet to fail him.

Super-Heavyweight

Igor "The Destroyer" Brezlav (4-1-0, 1-0-0 KOTB) vs. Samson Nazirite (6-1-0, 1-0-0 KOTB)

Next up, another super-sized brawl is set to take place as the Russian Igor Brezlav meets Isreali Samson Nazirite. Pure grappler, Brezlav has earned all of his career victory by submission which can be credited to his remarkable wrestling, as well as his Purple belt level of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu - successes he will want to recreate again tonight. Nazirite is also no stranger to Wrestling, as he has also sharpened his abilities to a similar level to that of his opponents. However, Samson's advantage will lie in his Muay Thai striking, where his fast punches and nasty kicks have earned him many Knockout victories including one over the aforementioned Mike Kina. So, Brezlav will aim to bring the fight to the mat, and Nazirite will do all he can not to allow this to happen. Styles make fights, and this fight should be an interesting one because of it. Which of these two men is fated to lose for his first time since joining the company? Find out by buying a ticket to King of the Beach 37: Cerveja!

Co-Main Event

Lightweight

Beezow Doo-Doo Zopitty-Bop-Bop-Bop (5-1-0, 5-1-0 KOTB) vs. Janish Jasperdek (3-0-0, 3-0-0 KOTB)

The Co-Main Event of the evening will see the return of KOTB regulars, American Muay Thai specialist with the longest name in the company, Beezow Doo-Doo Zopitty-Bop-Bop-Bop and exciting Polish prospect, Janish Jasperdek. Since joining the company and suffering a loss on his very first appearence, Beezow has removed all doubts as he has since impressed everybody with a an incredible win-streak of 5, made up of 3 Knockouts and 2 decisions. His opponent has been just as impressive as Jasperdek has seen nothing but success since signing with the organisation - having submitted all men put in front of him, with a different method for each one including a kneebar victory over TWGC legend Ryo Takajiri. Doo-Doo will aim to keep the fight on the feet where he can use his exceptional Muay Thai to work over his opponent, as he remains far superior in the striking department, and his long and powerful limbs could prove to be a problem for Janish. Jasperdek will have a very different gameplan in mind as he will need to take the fight to the floor using his grappling, where he can use his clearly superior BJJ skills to earn himself yet another submission victory. A win for both of these successful young men could set them up for really big things as the pair are already the rank 2 and 4 fighters in their division, with Bop-Bop-Bop also coming in at #20 on the company's p4p rankings.

Main Event

Super-Heavyweight Championship

Tito "The Warrior" Griffin (7-3-0, 6-1-0 KOTB) vs. Slavko Pakula (6-1-0, KOTB DEBUT)

The Main Event of the evening will be one to remember as the reigning, defending, King of the Beach Super-Heavyweight Champion Tito Griffin is set to put everything on the line as he defends his belt against company newcomer and largely successful Slavko Pakula. After successfully defeating the former SHW Champion Sandu Lungu to become Champion, and then yet again in an instant rematch - Griffin is up for his next big challenge as a brand new contender emerges to take a shot at his throne. A Warrior through and through, Griffin should be looking to use his superior Boxing abilities to snag himself another Knockout of the Night bonus, as he displays the very skills that have allowed him to earn a finish in all his seven victories. Although Pakula's Boxing isn't as seasoned as the Champion's, he possesses a slight advantage when it comes to Muay Thai and Wrestling, so we can't help but wonder if they will play a part in his gameplan for this evening. A rock-hard chin as well as heavy hands are two things that Pakula must look out for when the pair come together this evening, and the Champion needs to acknowledge similar strengths in his opponent. Will we see a second title defence for the heaviest Champion on the King of the Beach roster? or an upset that will lead to the crowning of a 5th Super-Heavyweight Champion in the company's history? W. H. O. K. N. O. W. S.

Thank you for reading, and good luck with all of your upcoming fights!

KOTB 38: Apreciar (Preview)

Super-Heavyweight

Mubaracus Carwin (4-3-0, KOTB DEBUT) vs. Peter "The Bear" Kovalev (6-1-0, 1-0-0 KOTB)

As we welcome everyone back to Hard Knocks here in Rio De Janeiro we at KOTB management would similarly like to welcome Mubaracus Carwin as he is set to make his company debut this evening. Squaring off against the American Carwin, is Russia's own Peter Kovalev as he returns to the octagon for his second time this month since defeating Seamus O'Halloran three events ago. Carwin's main strengths are his Boxing and his Wrestling skills, coupled with his fierce Knockout power which have been the main factors in all of his victories up until now. Although not as specialized in any particular fields like his opponent, Kovalev possesses a very well rounded arsenal of abilities and he has clearly dabbled in multiple disciplines. Both men like to keep the fight standing where they then aim to fire off heavy shots, one after the other. One thing that separates the two men however is a habit of Carwins, which is to pull the opponent into his clinch wherever and whenever possible. This fight will likely be a brawl and due to his clear advantage in striking, I would have to predict that Mubaracus Carwin will be the one to walk away victorious.

Welterweight

Miguel "Black Mamba" Ronaldo (5-5-0, 1-3 KOTB) vs. Kappa Docia (1-1-0, 0-1-0 KOTB)

The second fight of the night will reintroduce two struggling Welterweights as they both aim to claw their way back into the win column as Brazilians Miguel Ronaldo faces off against Kappa Docia. Ronaldo is a pure grappler who boasts a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, although the rest of his skills do not come close to the calibre of his rolling and they appear to be pretty poor in comparison. Similarly, Docia is also a brown belt, with little knowledge in other areas of combat although he seems to have a very slight edge in Wrestling over his opponent. Since both men prefer to grapple, it is obvious that this fight will go to the floor very quickly and remain there for the entire duration of the bout. An interesting thing to note is that both of these proud Brown belts have been submitted before in MMA fights, with Docia even falling victim to Guillotine from someone ranked lower than he is.

Lightweight

"Scarecrow" Jonathan Crane (2-0-0, KOTB DEBUT) vs. Marcus "Slick" Beck (5-1-0, 0-1-0 KOTB)

Another new face will be stepping into the KOTB octagon in the third fight of the night as newcomer Jonathan Crane takes on Marcus Beck in a Lightweight bout. Crane has seen success in all of his professional appearances, picking up two wins in the QFC including a first round Knockout victory. Unlike his considerably younger opponent, Beck has not had such luck as of late after picking up a loss in his company debut, which saw the end of an impressive streak of wins. Crane is a Muay Thai specialist who relies on his fists and clinching abilities for offence, with his granite chin and grappling skills there as a defensive crutch. Beck is a very different fighter and he has strong grappling abilities as well as respectable experience in Boxing - allowing him to have a diverse range of attacks to use when trying to finish fights. Judging by his short MMA history, we can expect "Scarecrow" to keep the fight on the feet where he may attempt to drag Beck into a clinch, or may even opt to strike from a distance. "Slick" will shoot for takedowns constantly, like he usually does as he will have the advantage if and when the fight goes to the ground. This should be an interesting match between two very different fighters, and many people are interested in seeing the outcome.

Bantamweight

"The Devil Dawg" Chesty Puller (6-5-0, 0-1-0 KOTB) vs. Alejandro "Osito" Sepulveda (9-6-0, 3-3-0 KOTB)

The first and only Bantamweight match of the evening will see former KOTB title contender Chesty Puller clash with former Featherweight and Openweight brawler, Alejandro Sepulveda. Puller is an ex Champion (from a previous org) with a chip on his shoulder as he was brutally beaten down by the division's top dog - Audley Barristan - on his company debut. Obviously eager to recover from that setback, Puller will hope to make full use of his fearsome Boxing and Wrestling skills in order to get the one-up over his opponent this evening. Sepulveda is a highly skilled, and incredibly admirable young fighter from a terribly unfortunate background, who aims to become KOTB Champion in order to bring fortune and good-will to his people. After fighting (and sometimes beating) men twice his size, "Osito" will face an all-new challenge as he comes up against the smallest opponent he has faced in a very long time. Sepulveda possesses a diverse but sharpened set of skills, which he has used to earn knockout victories as well as submissions, proving that he can be dangerous from any number of positions and situations. Puller will have to be very careful when he comes up against the Chilean wonderkid, as he will be his toughest challenge to date. A win for either of these young men will set them up for big things in this small and somewhat lacking division, and the victor could see themselves on the way to eventual title contention.

Middleweight

Silvio Gasaspo (2-0-0, 2-0-0 KOTB) vs. Thatcher Halverson (4-3-0, 3-3-0 KOTB)

Next up we will welcome back two familiar faces, including a true company veteran as the Swiss Silvio Gasaspo comes up against his toughest challenge yet in Thatcher Halverson. Since signing with KOTB a while back, Gasaspo has impressively won two fights in quick succession, both by means of submission - after trapping Tito Gomez in a kimura, and Kimbo Spice is a triangle. Halverson is far less green than his next opponent, as he has been around since the company's very first event. Since then, Halverson has had five more fights where he has seen both successes and defeats, even becoming the first Middleweight Champion in the company's history during this time. Gasaspo is a skilled grappler that has earned his brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has demonstrated remarkable Wrestling capabilities in his previous appearances. Unfortunately for the Swiss up-and-comer, Halverson is an even more seasoned grappler than he is as he boasts possession of a black belt in BJJ, a rank above that of his opponent's. We can expect this fight to make its way to the mat eventually, and from there the victor will be the man that plays his cards right and the one who manages to seize opportunities if and when they appear. Will Gasaspo cement his place as a future contender in this division, or will Halverson prove he has what it takes for another title-run?

Lightweight

Lionel "wutUsay" Wright (6-4-0, 5-3-0 KOTB) vs. Mat Diaz (2-0-0, 2-0 KOTB)

The next match up will be between Compton contender Lionel Wright as he faces off against the relatively new Mat Diaz. Although his career under KOTB has been largely successful, Lionel Wright has now suffered three setbacks on his way to becoming Champion, including a loss on his first shot against the ex-Champion Sean The Strangler. After amassing a three win streak, Wright earned himself another title-shot which again proved unsuccessful. Diaz on the other hand has felt nothing but successes since joining the company with two Knockout victories, although he faces the toughest challenge of his career thus far this evening. The only area where Wright has the advantage over Diaz is his Muay Thai, although the pair do seem to be on equal footing regarding BJJ abilities. Unfortunately for "wutUsay", Diaz has an incredible advantage in Wrestling, and a slight edge in Boxing which could cause some serious problems for him when the pair come together. Wright likes to keep the fight standing where he mixes up his attacks, keeping at a distance and avoiding dirty boxing and clinch exchanges. Diaz is partial to a takedown, and brings the fight to the mat wherever possible where he then works his opponents over with vicious ground and pound. It will be interesting to see how these two men choose to play their game this evening, and even more interesting to see how their styles will match up.

Middleweight

Hugo Carmody (3-1-0, 2-0-0 KOTB) vs. Aeden Declan (6-1-0, 0-1-0 KOTB)

This Middleweight bout will welcome back two promising youngsters as the up-and-coming Hugo Carmody is set to clash with recently defeated Aeden Declan. Carmody has impressed everyone since joining the company after earning two dominant knockout victories that were both billed as upsets, a feat he will be looking to recreate once again this evening. After facing the first defeat of his career by the hands of Kyrie Perry, it will be interesting to see how Declan handles himself going into this fight and whether or not he can regain momentum once more. Carmody will be looking to use his exceptional Muay Thai abilities in this match as it his main strength, and he can rely on his superb wrestling and seemingly uncrackable chin as defences. Declan seems to have advantages over, or at least equal footing in every discipline with Carmody, with Muay Thai being his main strength too. This fight will almost definitely stay standing as both men like to trade on the feet, each of them enjoying striking from a distance as well as taking the fight to closer proximity, by use of the Thai clinch. These men are ranks #2 and #4 in their division, so it is more than likely that the winner of this bout will be issued a title-shot upon victory, so expect them to both bring their A-game.

Welterweight

"The Farmer" Isaac Curtis (5-0-0, 2-0-0 KOTB) vs. Johnny "Smack" Pain (7-0-0, 2-0-0 KOTB)

Two former RSF Champions will finally meet one another this evening as former Lightweight star Isaac Curtis, moves up in weight to take on the terrifying Welterweight contender, Johnny Pain. Since joining KOTB, Curtis has bagged himself two TKO victories in the Lightweight division including one over TWGC Winner Ryo Takajiri, and is hoping to extend his streak as he takes on his literal biggest challenge yet. Johnny Pain has also seen success as his company debut back on KOTB 34 ended with him shutting off the lights of the aforementioned Miguel Ronaldo, in only a handful of strikes. The most interesting thing about this match up is that both men like to fight the exact same way, and even possess similar abilities with Curtis having the advantage in Boxing, and Pain in grappling. These two men like to stand and bang, with neither one being shy to take the fight to the clinch. This fight is between two undefeated former Champions and it will be sad to see either one have their record tarnished, but it is definitely an exciting must-see match-up!

Co-Main Event

Welterweight Title Fight

Parker "The Terrorizer" Allen (6-1-0, 5-1-0 KOTB) vs. Yoshiry "Samurai" Torikama (4-0-0, 2-0-0 KOTB)

The Co-Main Event of the evening will welcome back two-time Welterweight Champion, King of the Beach Veteran Parker Allen as aims to defend his belt against the next hungry competitor in Yoshiry Torikama. Parker Allen's last two fights were against the same man, the one he dethroned in order to become Champion, and a change of opponent this evening will be a refreshing alteration, as well as a brand new challenge. Yoshiry has yet to taste defeat in his MMA career, and has impressed people with his previous appearances under our organisation as he has earned two TKO victories consecutively - both in seriously dominating fashions. The Champion has the advantage over the challenger in both striking departments, Boxing and Muay Thai which is something that his opponent will have to remain seriously wary of during this fight as it could lead to some tricky situations. However, Allen isn't entirely greater than Torikama as the "Samurai" has the edge over him when it comes to Wrestling, and the two also possess purple belts in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, neither one having the upper-hand there. Allen will like to keep the fight standing where he can dominate his opponent with strikes that can not and would not be matched. The Challenger however will aim to get the fight to the floor ASAP where he can then attempt to execute his usual game-plan of working over opponents with his Wrestling. One thing that Torikama will have to be wary of is the craftiness of the Champion as he has been known to escape from tricky situations when on the ground, evident from his fights with Former Champ James La Grande. This fight will not be an easy one for either man, and we are all eager to see how it plays out!

Main Event

Middleweight Title Fight

Giblert Melendez (8-0-0, 5-0-0 KOTB) vs. "The Golden Child" Kyrie Perry (6-1-0, 6-1-0 KOTB)

The final fight of the evening has been one a long time in the making as the current Middleweight Champion is set to defend his belt against the loud-mouthed top contender, Kyrie Perry. Melendez has had a great career since joining the company, and has been a dominant Champion ever since his victory over the then-king Nathan Fisher, with two title defences thus far. Perry has also remained largely successful, with his biggest win coming from his latest bout with Aeden Declan, a dominant and decisive victory that was in a lot of people's eyes an upset. After Perry's win over the Irishman, Melendez had positive things to say about "The Golden Child", and was quoted saying "Congratulations on the win, I had a feeling that other guy was just all talk" before issuing a warning in which he quite clearly implied that Perry's next fight would not be as easy. Amongst a sea of respectful words (as well as some bold statements), the American was heard saying "Like I said before I am your kryptonite" - a statement that has left many fans curious and excited! We know that the Champion's main strength is his Wrestling which when coupled with his strong boxing skills, makes for a vicious clinch-game that has led to the dismantlement of many - if not all - of his previous opponents. Unfortunately for the Champion, Kyrie seems to be more sharpened with his Wrestling abilities, as well as his Boxing which may be deciding factors in how this match plays out. It's hard to imagine Melendez losing his title after so many dominant performances, so it would be a grave mistake to overlook his abilities even for a moment. Similarly, Perry has proven time and time again that he is not a pushover and is in fact a top contender that should not be looked past. This fight alone is enough reason to buy a ticket to KOTB: 38, so get down to Hard Knocks and buy a ticket!

I appologise for any drop in quality, as I'm pretty damn ill at the moment lol. Good luck to everyone with upcoming fights, and thanks again for sticking with our organisation.

"Morte" Vinicius Costa (3-1):

(In broken English)

"Hey boss, when is my next luta? I am a lutador, I need a luta or I will be a puta! I don't want to wait anymore, I am com fome! "

Finally, Vinicius has gotten an offer and has something to say:

(Still in broken English)

"Tyrone...Van Der Berg? The Kimura King? A BJJ blue belt is the kimura king! Puta que pariu! Besteira! I am a purple belt and I can make this king my rainha. If I am not looking to tap him out I can also use my Muaythai to kick his head off. Alguém diz chupar um caralho. "
