Eric Ashton (274213)

Hey boys... Hope you all had a great Easter!

I been hitting the gym hard and i have also been learning new tricks. I hate the fact that i have gone 1-3 in my last 4 fights since losing the belt. I have dropped quite a bit in the rankings, but that's ok! Just more heads to smash on my way up. I been there before and i will get there again.

Then it will be time to PART-AY again!

Alejandro "Osito" Sepulveda

10-6 (KOTB 4-3)

*In broken Spanglish*

No only do I rock my opponent, I submit first attempt after he take me down all in 60 segundos

First time I mas grande than mi adversario & couldn't have felt more poderso

I get to de point... I felt I deserve submission de la noche but it is wha it is

However, I want the winner of Karter v. Barristan for the BW title

Though the idea of mis ocho promiscuo hermanas that will be there for the fight being around Karter makes mi muy nervioso

Reporter:

we are welcome to sit down again with the newly crowned middle weight champion kyrie Perry. How does it feel to hear that after so long?

Kyrie Perry:

It feel great! As you can see I cried when they put the belt on me. I take this thing everywhere! This is more than a belt to me though. I was here since the beginning. Lpol at my resume if you don't believe me. This organization is all I know. After all the years of hardwork and dedication I am finally part of KOTB history.

Reporter:

Your last two opponents complained about your ground tactics and fans have even went as far as boo you when you won both bouts. What do you have to say about that?

Perry:

Yeah I saw there comments and I heard the boos but it doesn't bother me too much. My style of fighting doesn't excite a lot of people. I am a grinder. I do all the dirty work it takes to win a fight. I did what no other fighter has not been able to do to both of them, which is take them down and keep them there. Honestly, I feel fans should be more upset with Aedan and Melendez for not being able to get me off of them.

Reporter:

At this point in your career who has been the toughest opponent?

Perry:

Every opponent is a different challenge and I would be lying if I didn't say Joseph Annuaku was not my hardest challenge. Yeah Starling Silva beat me, but I didn't have a good training camp around that time because of my father drunk driving accident. At the time, Annuaku was a better fighter than me and he was doing a good job canceling all my offensive weapons. I'm just glad it went my way.

Reporter:

I know you just got the belt but I have to ask, who is next up for the belt?

Perry:

That is a good question to be honest. Well its hard to say. Management said next up for the title would possibly be the winner of the Hugo vs Aedan fight but I just beat Aedan. Also with such a stacked middleweight division, we have never done a instant rematch between newly crown champ and ex champ. If I had it my way, I think Aedan and Giblert should fight for a title shot. I really don't see anyone else yet on the radar if you ask me.

Reporter:

Thank you for your time Kyrie. As always, it been a great talk with you.

KOTB 39: Ourohttp://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1459257525kotb39.png

Bailey Seung-Jin v Tyr Hymirson - 205 lbs
To start the night off we have a battle between two debuting fighters. These fighters are friends of eachother and actually flew in on the same plane. Seung-Jin is a huge 205'er, standing at 189 cm and only just weighing in at te 205lbs mark. He is a boxer, having trained since young age under his dad and is making the transition into mma at only 16 years old. His opponent is also a boxer. The Swede training out of Japan is two years his elder, and while he doesn't have such a huge frame as his Korean opponent, he will have the range advantage. Best of luck to these fighters.

Cingeto Ysengrin v Darnell Cane – 205 lbs

Another light heavyweight fight is up next. Ysengrin is a very well rounded fighter that prefers the stand up. He's a sold boxer and has some devestating kicks too. He lost his debut fight in KOTB, having no anwer for the activity of Hugo Boss in the clinch, and is looking to bounce back from that. His opponent, Cane, is both a boxer and a wrestler. He has gone 1-1 in KOTB, losing by KO in his debut, but getting a decision win in his last fight. He'll probably be looking to take this fight to the ground, to prevent having to face the superior kickboxing game of Ysengrin.

Sendou Kitano v Roy Du Toit – 265+ lbs

Up next is the superheavyweight division. Kitano is a promising young fighter, a Japanese giant, weighing in at 285 pounds. He is a pure boxer with some amazing power in his right hand. His last two fights have lasted a combined 21 seconds total. He's fighting Du Toit, who is a former NCAA wrestler. This fight looks like it's going to be a wash. Du Toit doesn't look like he's in the shape of his college years anymore, while Kitano looks ripped and very motivated.

Kimbo Spice v Tito Gomez – 185 lbs

Spice vs Gomez, the only middleweight bout of the night. Quite the age difference between those two, seven years. The elder is Spice, 27. Spice is a KOTB veteran, having fought five times in the org already. He started with three wins, but lately has not been performing that well, going on a two fight losing streak. His greatest strenght is his wrestling game. Gomez' career seems to be going the other way. He started his career going 1-3 in KOTB, his last loss coming against Slice. After that he went 2-1, and really seems to be coming into himself as a fighter. Get ready for a grappling heavy rematch.

Kenny Mcroberts v The Goat – 135 lbs

Mcroberts is making his KOTB debut in this bantamweight bout, having fought the most of his fights in QFC, with every win coming by KO. He is a ironfisted boxer, with some strong dirty boxing. The Goat is still quite inexperienced. He has gone 1-1 in KOTB. He is a very good kickboxer, but seems to be lacking in the grappling department. He has a great trainingpartner in Syn chamion Lil Wayne, and should be on his way to become an all time great himself too.

Vallar Morghulis v Tony Brewer – 145 lbs

Vallar Morghulis, the only name that does this man justice is submission machine. Vallar has a record 2-1 in KOTB, but has lost his last fight by decision. His opponent, Brewer is a man of streaks. He started his career with three wins, but lost three in a row, getting dropped by his manager after that. Under his new management he went 3-0, but he'll have to prove himself in an organisation once again. As long as he can avoid the ground, that should be possible.

Johnny Cage v Papas Kanamun -205 lbs

It's time for some mortal combat, Johnny Cage is fighting. Cage lives for the close quarters fight. Once he gets you in the clinch you're likely going out. That's not the place Kanamun wants to be. Kanamun has a large advantage on the ground, but it doesn't look like he has a way of getting there. This is Cage's fight to lose.

Rory Jackson v Otto Geisler -265+

The superheavyweight division is one of the deepest in KOTB, judging by this being the second 265+ fight on this card. These men will be putting their undefeated records on the line. Jackson is making his debut in KOTB. He looks like a very allround fighter, who prefers to fight in the clinch. He is prone to get taken down, but with his submission game he doesn't mind being on his back. He fights the much taller German Geisler. Geisler really matches Jackson, but will look to use his length to keep the fight on the outside. It looks like Jackson has more ways to win, but Geisler has the experience fighting in KOTB that Jackson lacks.

Third Round Romero v Sergey Beznisko – 205 lbs

Is Romero the best 205 lbs fighter in the org right now? The only one who seemed able to stop him lately is former champ Devon Bailey, but he has left the org. It looks like Romero is the uncrowned champion right now. Looking to take that spot is Sergey Beznisko. Beznisko hasn't lost yet, winning all his fights by TKO. The Russian is a ground and pound machine, taking his opponents down and punching them till they give in. He'll need to get Romero down soon though, cause Third Round has a habit of finishing fights quick. Backstage there have been rumours of a tournament for the vacant title, I'm sure we'll see both of these guys again in that. If that doesn't happen, the winner must be guarenteed to fight for the title in his next fight.

Audley Barristan v Chris Karter – 135 lbs championship

Let's be honest, this is the fight we've all been waiting for. 135 lbs champ Ausley Barristan is taking on 145 lbs champion and former #1pfp fighter in KOTB Chris Karter. This is without a doubt the biggest fight ever in KOTB! Barristan is a muay thai specialist with some thunderous kicks, chipping up Chesty Puller in his last fight that won him the championship. His opponent doesn't even need an introdution. Chris Karter is a Hall-Of-Fame that right now is on an eight fight win streak, ending all but one of his fights by (T)KO. He's dropping to 135 lbs for this fight and looks very big for the weight class. We'll see if this new weight works for him, or if he drains himself too much.

Eric Ashton (274213)

I guess i partied too hard and am paying the price.

Peaked too soon in my career and everyone seems to have caught up to me. I think it's time to have a good look at myself and focus my energies on things that will bring me back to the top.

Good fight Silva.... Who knows? Maybe we will meet again.

"Morte" Vinicius Costa (3-1):

(In broken English)

"Another head kick KO! Boom! These Featherweights are too weak, que diabos? I think I need a real challenge now but I can only see esfregas. I think Nameless Fighter is the better esfrega so I am calling you out, Nameless. Your name is not like John or Jose, it's a very suspeito name. Whatever, I am going to kick your head off, cadela. "

After he signed the fight offer against Nameless Fighter:

"Hey Nameless, sign it or you are a real cadela! I promise violence and I promise another headkick KO! Não se esconda, cadela. "

Kyrie Perry-

Congrats on the title shot Gasaspo. Looking at the ranking you are well deserving. You really shocked the world with your last two victories.

But let's get something straight, I don't plan on being buddy buddy with you. You beat my teammate Thatcher Halverson and I am out for blood. I might have to make you my first knockout victim.

So like I said before, congrats on the title shot. Too bad its against me.....

KOTB 42: Guerreiros

(Main Card Preview)

Lightweight Bout

Verner Stolt (4-1-0, KOTB DEBUT) vs. Mat Diaz (3-0-0, 3-0-0 KOTB)

The first fight on the Main Card will be between two budding young Lightweights as Sweden's Verner Stolt is set to make his company debut against returning Ameircan, Mat Diaz. Stolt made a name for himself in SlaughterHouse FC long before he joined the King of the Beach ranks, and has successfully avenged his only career defeat until now. Standing opposite the Swede and hoping to extend his hot win streak is Mat Diaz who made light work of all of his previous opponents, in a dominating fashion. Verner's main strength is his exceptional Muay Thai and superb Boxing / Wrestling skills, which allow him to fight using a wide arsenal of techniques from fast punching combos to acrobatic high kicks, making him one scary opponent to stand and bang with. Diaz is a completely different fighter to that of his opponent, as he prefers to use his sensational Wrestling to take the fight to the floor where he works his opponent over with his powerful ground and pound. Even though Diaz does have the Boxing prowess to compete with Stolt on the feet, I don't see that being a route he will want to take, as the chances that things don't go his way are just too high. With both men sitting pretty at 4th and 5th in the Lightweight rankings, behind Beezow, Jasperdek and the Champion Daghammer, one can only think about where a win for either man will lead. What a great fight to open up the Main Card!

Welterweight Bout

Psycho Thrillstompers (4-1-0, 3-1-0 KOTB) vs. Johnny "Smack" Pain (7-1-0, 1-1-0 KOTB)

The next fight of the night will be between up-and-coming Welterweight Psycho Thrillstompers as he takes on the man ranked just above him at 5th in their division, Johnny Pain. Thrillstompers is an aggressive grappler and easily one of the best currently fighting under King of the Beach as he has both exceptional Wrestling coupled with a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Pain on the other hand is a Boxer that likes to fight from a distance and rarely ever takes the fight into the clinch, which could be a good strategy to keep his opponent at bay, using his jab from range to avoid any grappling exchanges. Although we know about Thrillstomper's incredible ground-game, and winning strategies, there have often been questions raised about the toughness of his chin, especially when looking back to the fight where the light-handed Vlad Putin put him away in under twenty strikes. This is in stark contrast to the granite chinned Pain, who managed to survive over seventy strikes from the powerful Isaac Curtis. It will be rather interesting to see how these two fighters match up when they meet inside the KOTB octagon due to their very different styles, and we can't help but wonder if Johnny Pain will manage to recover from his first ever career defeat.

Co-Main Event

Welterweight Bout

"The Farmer" Isaac Curtis (6-0-0, 3-0-0 KOTB) vs. Kappa Docia (2-1-0, 1-1-0 KOTB)

The Co-Main Event will see the return of Yorkshire's Isaac Curtis as he aims to get one over the man fighting on home soil, Kappa Docia. After stepping up in weight from Lightweight to face off against the then-undefeated KO-king Johnny Pain, Curtis has decided to remain in the 170lb division for the time being as he takes on an entirely different foe. Docia isn't as experienced as his yet-to-lose opponent and has had an up-and-down career since making his debut some months ago - although he clawed his way back into the win column with a TKO victory over Miguel Ronaldo on KOTB 38: Apreciar - on the same card that Curtis fought Pain. After both men impressed that evening, management decided that they should clash, to test Docia's ability to compete against a tougher opponent as well as testing just how comfortable Curtis is in this higher weight-class. Curtis is a heavy-handed Boxer who uses his incredible strength to bully opponents in the clinch as he constantly unloads with weighty strikes, and has shown to have fantastic takedown defense as no man has ever pulled him to the mat. Docia on the other hand is a brawler, who likes to strike on the feet as well as things up with quick takedowns. A win over Curtis will put Docia in the limelight as he is the massive underdog going into this bout, and a loss for Curtis could be quite harmful to his career. Be sure not to miss this one!

Main Event

Light-Heavyweight Championship Bout

Third Round "YOLO" Romero (11-2-0, 6-2-0 KOTB) vs. Ezekiel "Power Trip" Puchowski (10-3-0, 7-3-0 KOTB)

The Main Event of the evening will be between two of the 205 lb division's toughest competitors as they battle it out to fill the space left by Devon Bailey, and to secure the now vacant Championship gold. In the red corner will stand former belt holder "YOLO" Romero as he looks to cement his place at the top of the division once more, but to do so he must get past a company legend. Puchowski has fought a total of 10 times for King of the Beach ever since its debuting event and has since become a staple of the higher weight-classes. Romero likes to fight dirty, always trying to drag his opponents into his clinch where he then begins to dismantle them with a barrage of punches to both the head and the body - even throwing in some elbows on occasion. Similarly, "Power Trip" is more than fond of the clinch game as he tends to instigate them a number of times in each of his fights, quickly breaking from them and then re-engaging once more, a habit that makes these two men's clinching styles very different from one another. Scouting suggests that Romero has the advantage when it comes to Boxing and Muay Thai with both men being quite similar in the Wrestling department, and Puchowski boasting greater BJJ prowess. The winner of this fight will become the 5th Champion in the 205 belt's lineage - and if the victor is Romero, it will be his second time sitting in the Light-Heavyweight throne.

Undercard preview to come tomorrow evening.

(A podcast interview of Psycho Thrillstompers)

Host: So, Psycho Thrillstompers... That's an interesting name. What's the etymology on that?

PT: My mom gave it to me. She's kind of out there.

Host: Out there? Care to elaborate?

PT: Well, she's into voodoo and witchcraft and weird shit like that. My dad was actually a spirit she summoned to conceive me; I'm not sure exactly how that worked. I try not to think about it too much.

Host: Um. Ok. So, anyway... You recently avenged your only career loss. That must have felt pretty good.

PT: Yeah, I really jumped in the game prematurely, but you gotta strike when the iron's hot, and KOTB made me an offer I can't refuse.

Host: So you're happy here at KOTB?

PT: Oh, definitely. The competition is perfect for a fighter looking to have competitive, fair fights and steady paychecks. I'm definitely content.

Host: How about your upcoming fight against Pain? A chance to move up in the ranks, and prove yourself against a gritty, tough brawler. Vegas odds have him winning by first round knockout, in fact.

PT: A granite chin doesn't stop your arm from snapping; everyone knows what I'm going to do. I'm going to throw him on his back, grab something and break it. That's it.

Host: You sound pretty sure of yourself...

PT: I am sure of myself. Pain has no heart. I've seen the youtube video circulating where his sparring partner beats him into the corner, and he sits there afterwards breathing harder than a whore on free fuck day. He's still not over his loss, and it's about to get a lot worse for him.

Host: And there you have it; a very confident Psycho Thrillstompers on his upcoming fight...

Eric Ashton (274213)

After some much needed time off and some time to think about where i am at with my career, i am proud to announce that i have signed a 5 fight extension to KOTB.

Hopefully in that time i will be able to fight my way back to the top and reclaim that belt. I seem to have fallen quite a bit, but that just means the only way now is up.

Thatcher Halverson:

I am glad you stayed. I been having a tough road back to the belt myself. I am on a 3 fight losing streak and my teammate Kyrie Perry is on a 4 fight winning streak along with being the champ.

After a long talk with my camp, I decided to stay as well. I have changed everything with my training and I believe it is paying off. So my championship run starts now. You wanna be my first victim?

So what you say Eric Aston? Lets have a rematch. This time though my hand will be the one raised

Be careful what you ask for.... Because that person you ask for may have already accepted the fight.
