will you guys shut the fuck up?

you're completely ruining this thread. Drop it. It's the smack talk thread. it's to either place useful info like reviews or trash talk with your fighters.

well, technically it's still smack talk, I'm just posting from my phone a lot, and I can't format the fighters image on top off it because of that.

I'd just like the same treatment for everone, and looking at the up- and downvotes on our posts, some people agree with me.

I don't know what's worse, your grammar or your small talk.

You're chasing a lot of people out of this org with your disrespect and ignorance. It's one thing to do it in character, but it's another to be a staff member calling all of it's patrons 'bitch' every second word.

"Say my stand-up is weak. But my chin is stone and my heart is strong & once you're in that cage with me, you're going to lose.

Good fight from Gamma, much respect and I'm excited for Vermeer as a worthy opponent and challenger, and hopefully nothing easy after that win, when I hopefully face Maksim and prove I'm the best here."

IFC Fight Night 1 Review

This was a parallel event with Island FC 9, with 3 title fights and the "who is who" of MMA present in the Hayashi's Lounge, a venue filled with 2000 roaring fans and a night filled wih emotions and drama...10 fights 8 finishes, lets break it down for you:

185lbs TITLE Rick James vs Jonny Bones Junior Rick controlled the clinch briliantly ,very strong he keept the fight in the clinch and made Bones trade with him they were both landing, but the elbows from Rick were the ones causing the most damage, opening a gash over Bones eye ,it looked grossome, and the fight was stoped by the doctor with 3 sec left in round 2....

265+lbs TITLE (KO of the Night) Afonso Cabral vs Billy Joe Afonso is an absolutly beast, the promotion super-heavyweight champ and p4p king, made a statement with this win....Billy didnt even know what happend it was fast and furious, imagine a 300lbs gorila grabing someone clinching your head with the left hand and unload ,big right upercuts....thats what hapend here....the insurance police on the 265+lbs division went considerably up with the way Cabral is finishing hes oponents...well done 1st round KO

205lbs TITLE (Submission of the Night) Martyn Ford vs
Frank Karlsson
This one was quick,41 sec, the fight started has expected with Karlson starting well with a few punches right on the button ,Ford realizing that he had no business with Karlson on hes feet, he went for the take down, got it and to be honest he was a bit fortunate ,on the way they landed, stright into side control,(wrestlers paradise)isolated an arm ,squeezed and ...nite nite for Karlson

Peter Potter vs Octavion Prompethius This was a battle fought on the clinch by 2 chez players ,very good fight with none of this undefeated fighters wanting to loose and they took it for a decision where Potter won rightfully so, in my eyes the acuracy from potter made the diference....Octavion is still a great fighter and we will ear from him soon

(Fight of the Night) Mark Wahlberg vs Julian Day You cant hit what you cant see ,Mark was ilusive in defence and lethal in attack 90 + % shoot acuracy and 90 + % striking defense,he took Day to school until that head kick follow by the upercut put Day to rest ,midway trough the 2nd round.

Herminio Herculano vs Alex Mack Herminio Muay Thai clinch is something else is so strong and so tenacious with that clinch, once he gets you oponents must feel like they stuck on moving sand ,the more they fight to get loose, they get careless with defence and he takes advantage of it like no one else....after beating Alex up for 3 min the ref saw enough and stoped the fight ,good 1st round TKO

Alexander Vermeer vs Jesus Icon For me this one deserved the fight of the night award Vermeer put up on a performance, backing up hes talk for a title shot....he looked determined to finish the fight early and didnt loose any time with counters ,he just went for it ,clinched ,trow some creative strikes and dirty boxed hes way trough to victory...very impressive and this KO win earn him the title shot he craved..."now its back to the gym, and try to get that belt".....

Rudy Mar Binay vs Sid Vicious Binay looked like a man possessed, i mean it was like watching sex ofender geting released into a convent, and found himself closed in a room with an half naked hot nun,hes going to be on that till he gets it, the same way Binay was on that submission quest till he got it...by the way well executed americana

Issumatar Tariaksuq vs Robbie Rockhold I never seen someone trying so many times to take someone down without success 24-0...damm...he was going for it ,in a dumb way of course, and more then the leg kicks, what caused the most damage,in my opinion, was the body kicks ,Rockhold looked winded, brilint game plan credit to the manager, tactics won the fight for the underdog, The Arctic Frost did came to play on this one Issumata copletly frose Rockhold ,i the end he definitly deserved the unanimous decision win.

Kingsley Babajide vs Obat Timur #TAKEDOWN#SUBMISSION#27SEC

Great event as allways we try to bring to you the best fights very successfull night for the promotion with records being broke....Myself, JJ, and Park's wich you Peace and Love

And boom, another crumbles. Nothing but respect for Klice though, he took me in some deep waters. I hope to see you in Sully's for an after-fight beer Simbo! Cause even if I might come across as a little brass before fights, I have respect after the fight.

Now it's time to heal up and get ready for another fight that will take me one step closer to that title.

Justin Credible here, I’ll be doing a preview for IFC 11, my apologies as I had to deal with my torn ACL the past few days and couldn’t make it to do the preview but congrats on a great event! Down to business, I’ve been doing full card previews, well not anymore, I’ll give my predictions on the entire card but not an in-depth preview, only the top 5 main card fights will get that! So without further ado, let’s get started!

Our main card kicks off with Jhonny Garcia v Gleb Zheglov! A pair of undefeated prospects that are looking to make a name for themselves, both men are strikers without fear of getting knocked out in the process. Jhonny Garcia is 2-0 with 2 (T)KOs both of which were in the 3rd round. Some say he doesn’t have the power to earn a 1st Round KO and that is why his previous manager and he parted ways. His new management team have called that claim “Idiotic” and have called some journalists “Misspelling illiterate dumb asses!” I think we all know who he is referring to but I’m not one to start rumors. Garcia seems to think that with a win on this card he’ll be staring at a title shot. Gleb Zheglov is 1-0 with his win coming from a war with Ronnie Ripper at a less than sanitary QFC event. Gleb thinks that he’s going to walk through Jhonny Garcia and straight to stardom, but if his fight with Ronnie Ripper was any indication… He has some work to do. This one will certainly be a war, I’m going to go with Jhonny Garcia in this one in hopes that the management switch didn’t have any effect on his mentality.

Our next fight is Chocolate Milk v Count Foo in the 170lb weight class. Muay Thai against Boxing in this one, it’ll be a battle of distance and footwork. Chocolate Milk started his career off with a (Nes)quick (Get it?) victory over a fighter I personally hate, Ronald Glover. He stumbled in his fight against Peter Potter but he claims that the loss was the best thing to happen to him. He learned how to utilize his distance and how to cut the angles more effectively. He said, “I may have gotten knockout out physically, but mentally I was woken up!” Either he’s been smoking too much of Sully’s secret stash, or he’s actually learned from his loss. Count Foo is a rising prospect with loads of potential, if you need evidence just look at his Island FC debut against DJ Jordan. Foo is not fool and doesn’t know kung fu, he’ll just FU up. He is a street brawler turned crisp boxing phenom, MMA analysts everywhere were very impressed with just how well his boxing transitioned to MMA, only time will tell just how much of that hype is real. For now, I’m drinking the Kool-Aid…Not the Chocolate Milk, my pick is Count Foo!

Bukau Bekua v Ivan Maksim takes place next on the main card, for some reason. A guy who is 4-0 is taking on a 20 year old who is 0-1, now in what world and on what Island does this fight make sense? I love Island FC but someone in the match making department needs a dose of reality. Bukau Bekua is a 0-1 fighter with a name that is almost as confusing as this match-up. He is a Muay Thai fighter with limited ground skills (as we’ve seen in his debut), but a ton of potential. Many critics and fans alike think this match-up is terrible and too much too soon for the young gun, but none-the-less he has huge balls for taking this fight. Ivan Maksim is a can crushing, QFC fighting, 4-0 paper fighter who has name his living beating lesser opponents (no offense to his opponents). But he is 4-0 and has a lot of hype behind him, as well as being the overwhelming favorite, he is also thought of as the No.1 contender in the 145lb division. With a win over Bekua he should punch his ticket to a title shot where he’ll be forced into fighting someone actually on his level skill wise. I’ll go with an upset pick and pick Bukau Bekua to win!

No love lost between our CO-Main Event fighters Frank Karlsson v Lee Black do battle next! Both men challenged for the 205lb strap and came up shorter than a midget trying to dunk. That’s not to say these men won’t have another chance, but for now they’re thrown back into the shark tank known as the Light-Heavyweight division. Frank Karlsson is a popular fighter and a humorous presence on social media, often times calling out fighters and even the Island FC owner a few times as well. He is a brawler with hands of dynamite and a chin like Abraham Lincoln on Mount Rushmore (Stone, get it…because Abe in carved into... never mind, you get it). He chose the fight with Lee Black because the only thing that matters the Frank Karlsson is that shiny belt strapped around his waist. Not one to back down from a fight, Lee Black accepted this fight with a smile. Like Karlsson, Lee Black likes to make his presence known on social media as well, often using it to thank sponsors and poke fun at opponents. He lost his last fight but is eager to strap the gloves on and get back up the ladder. Black is a wonderful boxer with quick hands and excellent technique that he’ll try to use to control the distance. He believes that with a win over Frank Karlsson, he’s up for another shot at the title. This is a tough fight to pick, but I’m going with Frank Karlsson. One thing is for sure, the smack talk in this one should be entertaining.

MAIN EVENT TIME BITCHES!!!!

Hop Sing Jung v Alexander Vermeer GO AT IT FOR THE 145LB TITLE! Classic striker/grappler fight to end the night, both of these undefeated warriors are surely going to leave it in the cage. Alexander Vermeer is a beast with hands that should be legally registered as weapons and a heart that would make The Grinch jealous. He is a silent assassin and prefers to let his fighting do his talking, but when I pressed him about this fight he had this to say, “I’m glad to have gotten the title shot over that can crushed douche, and I’ll make sure I make the most out of it. I know his game plan and I know how to counter it, after I beat Hop Sing Jung the division will finally have the champion it deserves.” Hop Sing Jung is no easy task for anyone he is a top level grappler coming off the biggest win of his career against Alpha Gamma at IFC 9. His brother (Slaughterhouse FC 205lb champion) Sungwon Jung has taken time out of his career to help him train for this fight. Hop Sing Jung stated that he feels more confident than ever and ready to start the Jung Era at Island FC. He feels his grappling is too strong for Vermeer to handle and vowed to “Twist him around like a pretzel.” This one is going to be fireworks, I’m picking Alexander Vermeer to upset Hop Sing Jung and become the NEW Island FC 145lb champion!

Whole Card Picks:

Finch, Dudley, Armstrong, Lang, Enkamp, Garcia, Foo, Bekua, Karlsson, Vermeer

Good luck to all, Justin Credible…OUT!

Great preview Creddible. I hope my boy Vermeer wins the fight. If he doesn't, you're never allowed to pick us in a fight again. I'm starting to think you picking against us brings good luck. Also props to learning sign language, Vermeer being a mute and all.

OH BOY what a night ....10 Fights 1 decision 8 First round finishes and a desgrassefull No Contest for failing to make weight... straight from the Island ,very own ,Meca, the Underground arena was once again packed with celebritys bad bitches and this time we have my nigga Denzel in the crowd...MMA is spreading like wild fire...people just cant get enough of it....and now let me break it down for you :

155lbs TITLE Sub of the night Dino Guidotti vs Andy Dufresne This was a fight to establishe a king on the lightweight division,by far the least competitive division in the promotion, and we trying to change that, for that we needed a Champ to set our target, and our brand new 155lbs Champion is Dino Guidotti,he came up against Andy and were both undefeated with the same 2-0 record....someones 0 would have to go,and did....Dino started the fight better, stuning Andy with a couple of shots in the begining of the round, close the distance ,and put to use hes brawling style from close distance, hurting Andy again and follow with the take down, you could tell this one was a question of time till was over....and out of mercy ,it looked,Dino worked hes way trough a Kimura, and put Andy out of hes misery....desapointing night for Andy and a joyfull one for Dino ....1st round submission win

KO of the night Heimdal The Destroyer vs Eric Gabriel This was a welterweight contest between 2 title contenders and a win on this one would put one of them in a mix for a title shot.....Knowing this before they came into the cage both fighters looked focus and determined ,but The Destroyer ,of carreers had the eye that little something that only a very few fighters possesse....he closed the distance and clinched, avoiding those leg kicks, then he delivered hes trademark dirty boxing tactics using hes agression and continious striking, until that big right upercut found home....well deserved 1st round TKO win for The Destroyer and he send out a warning to the Champ....

Ryan Hunt vs Simbo Klice The fight game can be cruel, you need to be awear all the time any impse in concentration can be deadly, that was the case with Klice, after geting cut in the first seconds of round 1 ,Klice took over operations ,scoring a huge take dow, he drove that one right trough, and then droped bombs ...inbetween round one an two Hunt's face looked like a Syrian city after an Allie air strike...Klice confidence was sky high coming into the second ,but Ryan had diferent plans and he knew the breack would give him a change to compose himself and above all, the second round would start standing , so, that would give him a chance to do what he does best....and boy he did it......2nd round TKO win for Hunt

Jerry Johnson vs Carlos Diego Ferreira Carlos should pursuit hes dream of a gardening carreer in my opinion....he doesnt look someone cut for this....in this fight both fighters came of a defeat and had a chance to prove their worth ,Jerry took the chance with both hands, never giving Ferreira a chance to set the pace he start taging Ferreira with sharp boxing and extreme takedown defence....he finish the fight with a briliant counter that send Ferreira flying to the canvas and then follow uop with strikes forcing the ref to step in and finish the fight....Johnson wins 1st round KO

Artur Syrowatka vs Thundercunt
Artur Syrowatka really struggled with his weight cut for this fight. After coming in at 209.1, he had two hours to cut the additional weight. He was unable to do so and as a result, his fight with Theophilius Thundercunt was cancelled. Heavy sanction will be expected for fighters failing to make weight....careless shammefull behaviour.....

Zui quan Tso vs Patrick Fitzgerald Fitzgerald looked to be the more agressive stand up fighter, causing considerable damage but very wild at times and exposed himself defensivly doing that...Tso notice that and instigated a clinch controlin Fitzgerald against the cage, from were he worked some precise dirty boxing until Fitzgerald legs gave up....deserved 1st round TKO for Tso in a very good fight

Fight of the night Darth Sidious vs Michal Pontius There was not much hiting home but the cheer agressivity and overwelming power of Sidious did the job.....not much technic in display just 2 guys trying to rip each others head off....the less educated fans loved it....the more educated fans respected their comitment to win....saying that Sidious is 4-0 now and moved considerably up in the ranks....good 1st Round TKO win

Aidan Kincaid vs Ace Vankill Its looking grim for Ace ,he's record now stands at 0-3 and by the look of things ,doesnt look like its going to get any better anytime soon....dreadfull...Aidan took advantage of this limping gazele and feed himself scoring an easy win without taking any major damage,he looks fresh and ready to go next week....good TKO win for Aidan

Brutus Beefcake vs Philippe Leclair Leclair was doing well while the fight was standing ,wining the exanges on the feet ,but Brutus just run over him like a run away train...he just bully him double leg him and start reconstructing hes face with brutal ground and pound it didnt took long before the ref steped in and save him from brain damage...impressive 1st round win for Brutus

Hyman Krustovsky vs Thomas Kirkland Kirkland look to be going places ,dominant decision win,on hes professional debut, showing great hiden skills and playing tactics to perfection....he unexpectadly over striked hes oponent with power strikes eventualy rocking him in the begining of round 3 ,could have had the finish but enexperience didnt allow him to go for the kill....looking bright good fight

On this event we leave with mixed emotions , we had great fights, lots of exitment and finishes.....but i cant help but question the comitment of some managers....FA and failing to make weight still a big headhache for the promotion....saying that...we still TOP.....Myself, JJ, and Park's wich you all best wiches and good preparation...so we can stay TOP...WELCOME to the PREMIERSHIP of Island MMA B) B) B)
